Make A Fucking Difference, Share A Life With Someone New

Sigh... Guns aren't the issue; people are... Why is it that people refuse to realize that. Removing guns would be the same as taking a bully's food, in the end if he wants to beat a kid up, the fact that you took his food doesn't inspire any sort of responsibility on his part. Thousands of weapons are brought into this country illegally and sold to people who do not have the population's interest at heart. Looking at our society and the future that'll come I personally wish to have the right to carry a weapon while I travel and while I'm at home. I have a family to protect, and my own life to look forward to, I don't want to be unable to defend my interest should some asshole attempt to take advantage of me because I can't own a weapon. If people really want to make a difference they all need to petition for the evaluation of and the push for better care and earlier response for individuals of all mental states.

The ignorance and the disrespect towards individuals and to people in general is a large factor in causing the negative social issues we see today. Even more so in a society with such a large gap constantly growing in how one can connect and bond with their peers. There are always a few people who can't be stopped and will do horrible things to others regardless of what limits you place on them. But what about everyone else in the world we so happily share? Personally I think it’s time we look inside and realize how backwards our society has become and how we constantly evade taking ownership for own flaws. Instead of understanding and realizing how our behaviors are interconnected to the stimuli in our environment , we instead tell others to hold it in, or that there are limits and conditions for certain outlets of expression.

Instead of truly helping each other and working to support one another we get this retarded circle jerk of response. We get a large amount of people, who like to give “positive reinforcement” which is nothing more but a pat on the back and someone telling you how right you are when you most likely aren’t. That is our society today, and it’s not a directly bad thing to have. Yet when you think about it don’t you realize how fake that is? It’s so just too easy to push away and leave people on the sidelines; we reject so many for nothing at all. We avoid people we don’t like for reasons so petty that we have to actually find ways to justify our feelings. We refuse the idea of giving people chances at becoming something closer, we refuse to not only accept but to understand and become involved with another’s flaws. We refuse and are afraid of being told we are the issue and would rather latch on to any statement that pushes blame upon others.

Hell, I guarantee that very few people will even read this all the way through, but for those of you who have, I must ask you one thing. Do you talk to the odd kid at school? Have you’ve gone out of your way to interact with the person who seems kind of lonely? Do you actually try to have a meaningful discussion with that person who just seems to talk and talk all the time? How about the person who annoys you? Do you stop to try and get along with the people who piss you off? Have you’ve tried to get to know the person you make fun of? If you do, have you’ve ever thought about not making fun of them? Do you stop to have a moment with someone you’ve never spoken with before, and not some empty and brief way that ultimately meaningless? Saying hi and asking how someone is doing isn’t a true conversation, it’s a lead into a conversation but it hardly brings anything worthwhile. How about bringing up those social issues, or other now “Taboo” topics nobody seems to want to focus on? Since when should someone hide their opinions and beliefs from people who they wish to befriend? How is it so hard to accept that people are different from each other and that these differences aren’t reason to disown them or harm them? We find ways to distance ourselves from others and push them away and even shame them, and yet we wonder why there are an ever increasing number of disconnected individuals who commit heinous actions upon the innocent. Spread the word and Make A Fucking Difference, Share A Life With Someone New.

The Steven Universe fandom is dense af - The Series

I can give you so many reasons why considering past events but here’s one that just popped up- everyone somehow believing Yellow Diamond shattered Pink Diamond. First of all, I want to smash my head against a door. Second, the writers of the show made it clear that the YD had nothing to do with it. (If the diamonds end up having something to do with it then shit come back and roast me but I’d blame the crewniverse for their bad writing.) Any who, one of the first and only evidence you need for this is YDs actions in “What’s the Use of Feeling Blue?”. By the end of the song, the writers had the intent to establish her grieving and feelings for Pink were still enact, she just presents them differently. Y'all are over here acting like that never existed and now you’re saying how she was in denial of everything Blue Zircon was saying. Of course she was, but not in the way you think. She was in denial because she has her heart (gem?) SET on believing Rose Quartz did it. (For goodness sakes they bubbled all the RQs and she wanted to execute her immediately out of hatred and confidence that it was her) The truth is, NON of the diamonds were there at the scene, which was highly implied several times. That’s why they were so shocked when Zircon started saying all those things. Yellow Diamond didn’t want to believe anything else. She poofed her because Zircon accused a Diamond of killing another Diamond, that would make anyone angry…. Here’s the part that makes me mad at the fandom for the lack of acknowlegment: the recess scene and the ENTIRE fact that Steven is not Rose. I broke it down 👍. Steven doesn’t know how it happened because he is not Rose Quartz. Homeworld believes he is, but is shapeshifted. He told Zircon he did not know how it happened. Once again, he is NOT ROSE so he could never know. This lead to Zircon DOING HER JOB. She was nervous the entire episode for defending the guilty. THIS IS HOW SHE MADE LEEWAY. She had something to defend now. Does her argument make sense? Of course. But it implies something else. Something totally different that has NOTHING to do with YD. (In fact, maybe the writers even knew the fandom would fall for this although I can’t understand why literally the theory makes no sense.) It’s foreshadowing something. My take on it is pretty simple, I have a few theories but here’s an interesting one– the one who shattered PD was her Pearl? Think about it… She was close to her. She was allowed to be around her 24/7. No one would have saw it coming. Maybe it was even our Pearl, and that’s why she hates shapeshifting so much, as someone once theorized. I mean it still could be Rose but it’s now implied they had to do something evasive to shatter Pink, let’s not leave this possibility out.

Anyone could have shapeshifted into Rose, by request.

Hell it could’ve been another Rose Quartz and we’d never know.

Whoever did it, was part of the rebellion but was not noticed at that time or place. One fact remains: All fingers are pointing to a figure shaped like a Rose Quartz.

It wouldn’t add up if YD did it because so many people saw Rose do it. Eyeball even stated it herself. The gems acknowledge Rose did it. Either they know something we don’t ,OR maybe they are in the dark along with us…Rose kept many secrets.

(Who really knows at this point the only reason why I made this is to show you that it could never be YD. Bye y'all)

This... is part of why I get so uncomfortable sometimes. I have always tried, painfully so, to be a positive person. But, I am finding it harder and harder with time to be... positive. Why? The poor behavior that can be found close, out and about, and pretty much EVERYWHERE online, that's why. I mean seriously, the fact that signs like this are even needed is a display of the kind of behavior that makes it hard some days to brush it off and smile. I know it has become the norm to allow your electronics to think for you but dang folks... seriously? From where I'm sitting, we're all doomed but, I still do try... to be a positive person and at least not abundantly feed the ugly, nasty, YUCK that seems to be EVERYWHERE at this point. -sigh-- Okay, I'm done now.

Analysis - on the concept of common sense

First and foremost, this post will both serve as posting one of my slightly older analysis (which needs rework), but also a bit of another status update. So I'll be moving my homestuck analysis on another account before I begin to have to many people that follow this one.

Some people forget their sixth sense. Common sense! Did *I* forget about it? Nah, I just don’t *have* it-

Wake up, first of all correct the intentions and policies of the government so that every important thing can be improved.

True logical progression always comes with automation, so this way there is no need to waste time in manually instructing anyone about anything.

Obviously, when common sense is already automated, what is the need for any kind of manual instruction about anything?

So, in the end, the presence of instructions basically means that there are only scams going on in the name of progress.

17 minutes

Today at 10 am local time across the US, students, teachers, staff will be walking out for of their schools. 17 minutes, one minute for each of the 17 victims of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting that occurred four weeks ago. These 17 minutes are not a distraction or disruption of their day. More time is lost to these students every year for the drills hoping to prevent these tragedies and the news outbreaks when they occur

It has been four weeks since the MSD shooting and two weeks since they returned to school where on their first day back news broke out that a teacher in Georgia brought a gun to his school, locked himself in his classroom and contemplated suicide. So today they walk out, today they march, not just as symbolism or a performance or as a statement. They are showing the adults how big this problem is, how far it spreads, all of those whom it impacts. It doesn’t just affect the students who survived the shooting, had to sit in their classrooms wondering if this was it; or the family members who lost their children, cousins, sisters, brothers, their parents and those who lost their friends. The intense gun drills that aim to sacrifice themselves for others when a shooter has entered their classroom and how to be quiet in your greatest, hour-long moments of fear has become part of their lives, part of their school prep like fire drills and the bomb drills of World War II

This affects everyone, and that’s part of why today they walk out, they March; because this is so important to them and so vital to them and their lives. We can’t say that children are too young to understand when they are the ones literally taking the hits for it. We cannot say their opinions are invalid or that they don’t know, that we know better and are taking care of them and are handling things for them while passing over a true epidemic that is killing and terrorizing them.

These 17 minutes are a request for thoughts and prayers; thoughts of those that lost their lives, prayers that they are at peace, both to be followed by real action. This isn’t about concert tickets, clothes, or youtube stars. You could see the bodies they had to pass on their way out when it was finally over, their classmates, their friends; because when it was finally over, it had just begun. And they are saying that enough is enough.

So this is a statement, they cannot vote but are supposed to be protected by us and we should be voting with them in mind. If we say their opinions are not valid or misinformed than we should be working with them, but we’re not because their opinions are not wrong or invalid and we are failing them by letting this continue. They are reminding us that we have the power to protect them and we need to step it up.

In the most three weeks since the shooting (February 21st until now) some of the tags that pop under Florida related to the MSD shooting have disappeared, but Parkland and Gun Control are still up there. It will not leave and this will not leave them.

Separating the art from the artist is one of the dumbest concepts I’ve ever heard.

You can’t fully separate the artist from their art because the art is an extension of the artist’s mind. They are the creator, and their work is a reflection of their thoughts and imagination. Even if their mind produced bad things, it doesn’t diminish their creativity or artistic ability.

“I respect him as an artist / musician, but I don’t like his life / personal choices” - Who’s to say those choices didn’t shape the very art you admire? Without them, it might not even exist. Great art often emerges from struggle, pain, and so-called “bad” choices - creativity thrives in chaos just as much as in beauty.

Good and bad are just labels society imposes - no one is entirely one or the other. Free yourself from those constraints and live according to what truly fulfills you.

If you enjoy their work, you’re acknowledging the person behind it, flaws and all. You can’t pick and choose which parts of someone’s existence you want to appreciate without being hypocritical.
