Liyue- a nation of commerce. There, everyone is always up to something- be it for the good of the land or for their own selfish needs. And that soon attracted other people from other parts of Teyvat, wanting to get something- anything- from their journey to there. Everyone there are always smiles and flattery, but that is only when the dark sky- that is only lit up by the stars and moon- is blanketing their dirty business. No one really cares about what another does in the harbour as long as it doesn't affect them in the long run. Heck, they couldn't care less about who they were talking to unless they were someone of use to earn more fortune for themselves. They won't even bat an eye if someone- who they have never heard of- suddenly comes and beg for help.

"Hey, (Y/N), I bought a new book that I think you might like. It's from your favourite author too!" The second son of a wealthy family, Xingqiu, came to greet you at your usual spot-- right at the top of a mountain that faced the sea, the water gold due to the sun setting for the day and to let the night deal with the unwanted business dealings.
He sat on the grass and leaned on a stone, a small smile on his face as he looks up at the sky. It was a beautiful set of orange and yellow-- much like his eyes. With a minute passing by, he takes a breather before looking down at the book in his lap, beginning to open the new book. "I have been waiting for the next volume to be published, always going to the bookstore and stay for hours." He chuckles. "You don't know how many times the lady at the bookstore questioned me if I wanted to check the other books instead."
"It was a tempting thought but if I were to be distracted, who knows? I might miss my chance to buy a copy of it if ever came-- which it did," he says, looking at the first word of the first page. "I suppose you want me to read now. Haha, I remember how you always pester me to hurry up so I could start reading the book."
"Oh look, I'm prolonging the read even more, haha. Then, I shall read the book now," he said. This time, he stops speaking and reads the book all the while smiling, never once had it faltered away in hopes to not make you break.
Once he finished reading, he just stared at the back of the book, his smile not reaching his beautiful, golden eyes as he was drifting off in his own thoughts. In front of everyone, he was all smiles and the perfect son who was well versed in many things from poetry to martial arts. Only his dear friend, Chongyun, know how wicked he could be. But even if he was his friend, he had never seen him break down-- not even during your funeral.
It was a silent plea for help that he wished he picked up sooner. And since then, he hated himself for how useless of a lover he was to you. He always promised that he would protect you and in no way would he let harm come your way but in times of desperation, he wasn't there. So much for that promise, he thought bitterly.
He looks at the stone he was leaning against and read your name that was engraved on it. It was your stone where your spirit lies for eternity. He saw it best to have you buried here as it was one of your most favourite spots to run away from the excitement of the city and to have a little moment of peace, reading a book. He would often accompany you as well and would often lay his head on your lap as you read out loud or to yourself when he wanted to read another book.
He wished he had done something more to keep your warmth forever, but he wasn't a fortune-teller to know when you would die. He wished he was though. Now, he was left in the cold with nothing but your memory to give him more heartache.
A tear finally slips through his smiling face, breaking that smile that everyone knew. One tear. Two tears. Three. More and more kept coming that he couldn't wipe all of them away and he bit down on his bottom lip to try to stop the sobbing sounds that left him. "Why? Why didn't you tell me? I, I could have done something!" he cried, not showing his eyes as he continued to stop the tears with his arms. His smiling facade broke away and you were the first to witness it from your stone. He hiccups, choking on his own tears. Even when minutes passed, his tears did not stop and he soon buried his head in his arms, using his knees as support.
"Please come back.."

I also doubt that Venti would die and the reasons used for the theory is kinda.. I don't know how to explain it but just know that I don't really see it as strong evidence. I need to go skim through the dictionary again.
Maybe I am denying the theory because I don't want him to die.
on the theory of venti dying, i highly doubt it. first because the wind bloom event is a limited time thing, not everyone would be able to attend it. killing him off would make no sense because it isn’t a part of an archon quest. that wouldn’t be able to work out if someone started playing the game now or any time in the future. although, the minute an archon quest concerning venti comes up that has no connections to the wind bloom festival, then yeah he’s probably going to die.
Oh the theory about venti dying was more on the future version of the game or for the upcoming archon quests. Not necessarily in the windblume quest since it’s too early to do that and as you have said it’s a limited time thing. It doesnt make sense why would mihoyo kill him during windblume unless they turn it into an archon quest for the main storyline
I’ve thought about your “love me” fic with childe like idk, 10 times since I first read it... like, good lord. 🤝🤝
Haha, uh-oh, that doesn't sound good.. ^□^" Erase it from your memories and hope it never comes crawling into your head again. >○< But I guess that it's good that my stories are being remembered? Although an SFW work would have been better.. Ehe.
Omg, thank youuuu! I'm crying. I'm so happy! T♡T
Eh!? VENTI SHOWS UP IN THE FESTIVAL!?
I don't know whether the pictures of him are related to the festival or are from the main quest. I'm on the NA server so I'm a day behind to those in the Asian server. Please tell me that I'll see him soon.
Venti does show up in the festival!! It’s really cute seeing him and im smiling like an idiot all throughout the quest every time he talks :’)
The hangout with Chong made me love him even more. I didn't think it was possible.
Archons, he is so precious. ♡
I thought I would need to spend more money because I was at 50/50. I'm really happy he came home. =♡=
Good luck to those who are rolling for him as well! May Barbatos be with you.
Hii!! I remember you! ^♡^ It's really nice to know that you came from Wattpad-- well, you did ask for my Tumblr. And I still remember your request (I totally did not have a mild panic attack a few seconds ago, thinking that I deleted your request and can never tag the right person for it). Hehe, I'm quite excited to write yours but it'll take a while.. An awfully long while. ^^"
Hello! I came from your Wattpad and I really enjoy your writing ^^ I hope you're taking breaks and that you're having a lovely day <3 How's Tumblr so far? What gave you inspiration to make a Tumblr account? :o
:O From Wattpad!? Hello, hello! ^♡^ It's really nice to know a reader from Wattpad actually came here (I thought they would just wait for the updates there). I'm really quite at a lost of words at the words of praise about my writing (I'm seriously blushing right now >~<).
As for your questions, I am really enjoying Tumblr a lot, albeit it is not as simple as using Wattpad.
I actually made this Tumblr account years ago for a reason (or reasons) that I do not remember (it was probably when I was looking for NaLu stuff and for Undertaker oneshots). I've recently started to use it more because Wattpad doesn't really have a lot of Genshin oneshots.. But, I am also now using it to post my oneshots from Wattpad because of the current issue(?) with the app/site. I don't want my NSFW works to be gone for naught.

I'm scared of opening up the ask thingy (sorry, I'm still quite new to how Tumblr works) but I want to have a chat with all of you since I am nearing 400 followers and have not indulge in a conversation with any of you. It just makes me seem cold(?).
Please don't see it as if I am opening requests (I still have 50 to do and I'm on a semi-hiatus).
You can ask me about anything or just have a nice conversation.. Unless all of you are quiet people who only goes here to read which is fine. ;-;
I'm really scared because even though Tumblr said to be kind to everyone, there are just some people who wishes to hurt people.
THIS. ^
Sorry, I'm just baffled at the same thought of this anonymous person and it kinda hurts me.. Since.. Well.. I'm 4'9-- mind you I am a young adult-- and don't seem to be growing anymore (I've been 4'9 since 5th grade tough). :')
Am I going to be deemed as a child for the rest of my life because of my height?
Do people on twitter don't realize short adults exist👁👁
LITERALLY LIKE I HAVENT GROWN AT ALL SINCE 8TH GRADE AND IM GONNA BE IN MY 2ND YEAR OF COLLEGE SOON 😭😭

Something was falling from the greyish clouds that has been slowly forming together over Liyue. It was white, cold, and too small for human eye to see. However, once multiples of it were gathered, you could truly see how it turned Liyue into a winter wonderland.
This sparks excitement inside you as you stare out the window of the shop you were tending at. The winds of Snezhnaya has finally brought their winter to Liyue, making it cold for the locals to idle outside for too long.
Seeing this, you did your long hours of work with great impatience, wanting to enjoy the snow with a particular someone all the way in the outskirts of the city-- in Wangshu Inn. You just know that he'll be the most excited between the two of you-- although he won't show it or say it.
"Have a good night!" That was the cue. Yes, it was evening by the time you got out of work, but your excitement left you restless and headed to the inn, greeting Verr Goldet and her husband in the lobby as soon as you got there. And not wanting to prolong you any longer, the woman simply pointed up the flight of stairs that leads to a highest level possible.
However, when you got there, there was not a single being to be seen. You didn't feel down though, knowing that he was probably off to secure the night around the inn and nearby places that doesn't have the protection of the Millelith.
You walked closer to the ledge, your eyes seeming to glow in admiration at the snow that covered Liyue in less than a day. But before you could put a hand on the railing, a "What are you doing here?" brought your attention behind you.
To nobody's surprise, Xiao stood there with his arms crossed, his eyes glowing in the dark, but not so much as the light from inside the inn emitted a brightight. "Xiao!" The name that left your lips was enough to make you smile. Though in his part, his eyes slightly narrows while a brow quirks in question, but that was long forgotten when he growls at the state you were in. "Where is your coat?" he asks, walking closer to you.
It was just then that you realized that you had forgotten to bring a coat and felt the harsh breeze stinging your skin. You wrapped your arms around yourself, rubbing your arms to create some sort of heat. "Ehe, I was rushing to get here so I forgot to go home and bring one," you admitted, the smile never leaving your face. This did not amuse the yaksha and clicks his tongue in dissatisfaction. "Even when a millennia has passed, humans can be so stupid," he grumbles. "Wait here." Before you could ask, he turns on his heels and went downstairs, leaving you alone in the cold.
When he returns- which didn't take long- he was carrying a wool blanket in one arm. Approaching your person, he wraps the blanket around you like a wrap. Warm and comfortable.
You look down at the blanket and slightly blushed at the thought that it could be warmer if he hugged you, wrapping his firm, strong, and protective arms around your shoulders-- Oh no, you shouldn't fantasise something like that.
Looking at your state, Xiao couldn't help but feel the warm, tingly sensation on his face. You looked cute and small. He almost wants to lock you away so that no one else would be able to see just how truly cute you were. However, he snaps himself from indulging the thought, realizing how inappropriate it was especially for an Adepti such as himself.
With hand covering his mouth, he clears his throat. "Anyway, what are you doing here?" he asks, his voice sounding cold, but you know that he meas well and that it was just the way he speaks. "I wanted to share the first snow with you!" you admit, your smile doubling the size.
He raises an eyebrow. "Huh? Share the first snow?" he repeats, to which you nod. "I heard that you should always spend the first snow with someone special." Hearing you reason, he sighs heavily. "You humans always come up with something stupid." He closes his eyes and crosses his arms.
"It's not stupid it's sweet!" you defended, the blanket slightly slipping off your shoulders. Xiao took notice and moved even closer to fix it, but afterwards, his hands haven't left your shoulders and he just stares at you. It was only 5 seconds, but you felt kind of awkward, eyes averting to anywhere but his charming face. "S, so, uh.. I came here to ask if you wanted to play in the snow with me.." you mumbled.
There was no response on the other end and it was only when your eyes returned to look directly at him that he quickly answers with an "Okay" before swooping you off the ground and jumped off from the inn. In fear, you wrapped your arms around his neck and hold on for dear life.
It only took a couple of seconds to reach the ground safely but to you, it felt like it was your end. Xiao looks at you and couldn't help but huff out a chuckle. "Hey, do you think I would drop you?" he asks, watching you open your eyes once you felt the rush of adrenaline subside.
You blinked twice and remembered how you are still hugging him. "Oh, uh.. Could you put me down?" you ask shyly, unwrapping your arms around his neck. He did as told, setting you back down gently.
Taking a look around, the snow stretched out for miles, up until the horizon where you could barely see a thing. Winter only comes once a year in Liyue and each year upon the look of snow would always leave you breathless. The snow in Liyue was much different than that in Snezhnaya as it wasn't knee-deep and children could still play around.
One step. Two step. Soon, you were running across the field and laughing. While on Xiao's part, he watches his foolish of a human with his arms cross and unknowingly to him, a smile adorns his face. His eyes softened at the sight of your smile. He always does, you just never noticed.
His eyes moves away from you and his attention was now transfixed to the snow on the ground. Seeing as he has cleared the area from enemies before meeting you at the inn, it was most likely safe for you to tumble and fall without getting the attention of monsters.
You stopped running and stood there looking at the falling snow, just about tired from running. You looked over Xiao and see that he was very focus at the snow beside him. He looked funny looking at the snow as if he was going to murder it.
Tearing your eyes away from the male and to the snow, you soon grabbed a handful of it with your bare hands and compacted it to a snowball. It was cold, but the urge to touch it was too much to take and would risk your health to play in it.
Happy with the ball, you run back to Xiao. "Hey, Xiao--" Your words were cut short when you saw Xiao pick up a handful of the snow and eat it. It wasn't all the uncommon for someone to eat snow but Xiao eating snow was truly something.
He turned his head towards you while having a snowball close to his mouth with a questioning gaze since you did originally wanted to grab his attention. "What?" he questions soon after when you just stood there like a mannequin.
"O, oh, yeah.." You blinked and regained your train of thought. "Anyway, do you want to have a snowball fight with me?" you asked, a challenging grin on your face. He raised a brow. A human asking an Adeptus to a snowball fight? It was obvious which would win so what was the point?
But seeing that smile on your face was hard to say no to. That glimmer in your eyes was intriguing, to say the least. So, he nods. "I won't go easy on you," he warns. "I didn't want you to in the first place." With that, you threw the first snow right on his face.
Even though he said he wouldn't go easy on you, he was actually much softer and let you hit him multiple times and only hitting you once or twice every now and then.
Once you had your hands on your knees, he figured that it was finally time that his human was exhausted. He walks over to you and when he was close enough, he fixed the blanket around you that surprisingly didn't fall off your shoulders.
You look at his beautiful, golden orbs that has now the time to truly glow in the dark. It was captivating. The atmosphere, the place-- everything in that moment had that magical, winter air. You two stood there, silently praising the other.
His eyes moved towards your lips, thinking how soft it would be when he places his own on it. With his hands still on your shoulders, he leans closer to your face before stopping short, his lips just a few centimetres away from yours. He was waiting to see if you would pull back.
Wanting his lips on yours, you closed the gap and felt a sudden warmth flush through your body. A hand of his made its way and caressed your cold skin, deepening the kiss. The kiss was enchanting and felt that it had been hours before you both pulled away.
When you did, a smile adorned your flushed face-- flushed from the intimate moment and from the cold. You slowly moved away and flopped down on the snow and laughed.
"Hey, you're going to get sick, you idiot," he states, crossing his arms as he watches your blanket unwrapped itself from your shoulders, now being used to keep your back dry. "Haha, no I won't! Not to be a brag, but I have a pretty strong body," you boast.
O how you felt embarrassed by those words that you said so proudly last night as you lay in bed, under layers of warm blanket. "Humans can be so stupid. Yesterday you were sure you wouldn't get sick but the next day, here I find you in bed," Xiao says, entering the room with a bowl of warm water and a washcloth.
When you didn't greet him this morning, he knew that you were sick and went to your house to take care of you immediately. "I said nothing," you spoke, holding your chin high as you feign ignorance.
He clicks his tongue but said nothing more, dipping the cloth in the warm water before squeezing it so water wouldn't be dripping on you. He moves closer to the bed and sat at the edge of it, moving any hair that covered your forehead before placing the cloth. "You should remember to bring your coat. I'm not always there to remind you like a mother," he said.
"Hey, if you're just going to bully me, then you can leave. I know I was dumb for not bringing one, okay?" You pout, though there wasn't any anger in your tone, and brought the blanket up until the bridge of your nose.
He looks at you for a short second and brought his fingers close to your face. Before you could guess what he was doing, he had flicked your forehead. "You idiot. Do you really think that I would be here in the first place if I didn't care about you?"
The words made you blush and felt a hundred times more warmer than the cloth on your head. He looks at you with a straight lip, but his eyes hinted at a different emotion. It was soft and held care for you.
He then stood up, eyes tearing away from you, and walked towards your door. With a hand on the handle, he twists it open but before he step out, he looks over his shoulders- to you- and said, "Make sure you get enough rest. I'll be here if you need me."

Everyday.. From the moment you broke down my walls and I opened my heart to you.. I was scared of letting you go. Afraid that I won't ever get to see that smile I hold close to me and the warmth you embraced me with.
But..
Time has changed and you are no longer with me, my dear (Y/N).
Why did you have to show me your warm light and disappear soon after as if I was nothing to you at all? It's really ridiculous and I should be mad at you for this.. But, I love you.
I know that deep in your heart, you knew that I loved you so dearly that I'd sacrifice my eternal life for you. I wished I had said it before you left.
Why hadn't I said it? If I knew you were going to leave me, I should have said it.. Now, I will forever carry these silent words along with my guilt for the rest of my life.
I thought that you would at least grow old. I forgot how fragile mortals are when I saw you. I forgot because I wanted to spend the rest of eternity with you.
(Y/N), if you were still here with me and grew old, I would have loved you endlessly no matter how much your appearance had changed.
Honestly, I pictured us having a family at some point. But, I guess that will forever be a hopeless dream that will chase me like a nightmare as I stare at your stone along with your haunting smile engraved in my memory.
".. Hey, idiot.. Please, come back soon."

He doesn't know when so don't ask him. But he does know that you had somehow bewitched him into liking you because he couldn't explain what it is about you that had made him fall for you. Was it your hair? Eyes? Smile? Again, he doesn't know and all he could do is blame you for it.
His eyes stare lazily at the crowd, thoughts completely all about you and only you. He wishes he could see you-- oh, would you look at that? Not too far away, he spots a familiar stature, eyes looking at a list. You.
He pondered at today's date, crossing his arms. Based on his notes from observing you, you were out shopping for groceries. Oh, how could he forget that? That was the reason why he was out and about with no particular purpose tied to the Tsaritsa at all. He was grateful at how you always had a routine. That way, he could have these.. Encounters. He doesn't do much other than stare. Creepy, but he does not dare walk up to you to strike a conversation. He only does it when there is a really good excuse for them.
"I thought I'd find you here," a smooth voice spoke from behind the short male, a chuckle following after. Scaramouche had the look of annoyance at the sound that he loathed oh so much. "What do you want, pest?"
He does not need to look behind him to know that it was the young Harbinger, Tartaglia. The ginger chuckles, resting a hand on his hip. "Ouch, no need to be so venomous, old man." He does not even bother to feign hurt.
Scaramouche clicks his tongue, not once turning to see the ginger. "If you have nothing to say, leave. Can't you see I'm busy?" he spat. The taller male grins. "Oh? With what? Surely, stalking an innocent civilian isn't what you are busy about, is it?" Tartaglia has been watching for a while as well, but not at you-- Scaramouche, seeing as the sixth Harbinger started to act strange-- mainly towards you. He thought it was hilarious that a man such as the cruel sixth could easily coil under your words.
Scaramouche mentally curses at the male. "Piss off." He grits his teeth. This just made Tartaglia want to continue. However, a brilliant plan- much better than teasing Scaramouche- had crept its way in his head. Smirking evident in his tone, he bids goodbye to the short Harbinger.
"Good riddance," he mumbled to himself. His eyes had never once left your person as you move onto different stalls that had the needed items on your list.
Maybe he should go up and say a quick 'hello'? You two are friends after all. It wouldn't be awkward, right?
He bit the inside of his cheek, deciding against it. As much as he tops everybody, he cowers to interact with you and only pray that the Tsaritsa had something- anything- to give him a reason to interact with you. He thought it would seem awkward otherwise.
Sighing, he turns on his heels, planning on going to the training ground for new recruits and do something productive like watching new Fatui members bleed their guts out-- anything that would take his mind off of you.
-
He doesn't know when, but the next time he saw you made his blood boil. Actually, it wasn't you that made him that way-- it was at the sight of you talking to the eleventh Harbinger with all smiles and laughter.
Were you two always that close for you to allow Tartaglia to put a hand on your shoulders? It was evident that the Harbinger was up to something when he put it there. Scaramouche doesn't know what type of game Tartaglia was playing at, but he didn't like it in the slightest.
He wanted to walk up and wrap his arms around you protectively while he hiss and glare at the eleventh. But he had to hold back. After all, it would seem weird since you two weren't lovers. Oh how he wished that you would leave the ginger already.
-
If he was itching for a fight, Scaramouche would happily give it to him. It has been 2 weeks since and each day, Tartaglia always seemed free enough to hang around you. And you seemed undisturbed by it? How absurd! Had you not notice where that man puts his hands on you? That hand that the ginger holds is supposed to be his!
He scowls. He can't take this anymore. Scaramouche has finally figured out the game that the ginger started and tried not to fall for his petty trap to make him finally admit to you about his feelings. However, that didn't last long and he started to think that he should take this as a chance before that opportunity is no longer there; when Tartaglia has really fallen for you.
Taking a deep breath, he strides to you two with menacing glares thrown at the tall male. Tartaglia felt those eyes that he knew had been watching him since two weeks ago draw near, getting his attention, which soon caught yours.
"Oh? Why if it isn't gramps," Tartaglia greets, showing his signature smile that was usually a sign of trouble to come. Scaramouche stares long and hard at him before he turns to look at you.
"Scara, hello!" You smiled that smile he loves oh so much. His heart fluttered, almost forgetting the presence of a particular someone.
"Uh, so, gramps," Tartaglia starts, "(Y/N) and I are actually going out for lunch, so if you could speed it up.." Scaramouche shots another deadly glare at the male. It would have been scary to a normal person but since this is what Tartaglia wanted, he wasn't affected by it.
"You're not having lunch with them." With that, he grabs you by the wrist and drags you along with him. "H, huh? Wait, Scara, where are we going?" You look at the back of the short Harbinger before you turn to look over your shoulders at Tartaglia.
You thought he would stand there dumbfoundedly but instead, he waves at you with one hand as the other rested on his hips and balancing his weight on one leg. He gave a close-eyed smile, feeling proud that it had turned out the way he wanted. The eleventh wanted to follow to hear what cheesy thing Scaramouche would say, but he stops himself and decided to tease him later.
Now gone from sight after turning a block, Scaramouche pins you against a wall, both hands slammed beside your head. You yelped and hissed at the impact, closing your eyes instinctively.
"Hey, Scara, couldn't you just--" "I like you," he confesses, getting all words dying on your tongue. "Eh?" Silence followed after, and it seemed to you that there was a bird cawing not too far in the distance.
Did you hear that right? You look up and was met a flushed Harbinger who awaited for your response. "C, could you repeat that? I think water got into my ears when I took a bath this morning."
Scaramouche takes a deep breath and this time, said it loud and clear-- enough for you to comprehend. "I like you, (Y/N)," he said, the heat tingling his cheeks. Gosh, Tartaglia's spot would have definitely been given away by his laughter, if he was there.
"I like you too, Scara," you confess, a confused look on your face at the sudden confrontation. On Scaramouche's part, the light in his eyes twinkled like little stars dancing in the night sky. You liked him as well? A smile was threatening to break but before that could happen, he moves away and coughed onto his fist, clearing his throat soon after.
"W, well, I'm glad we have mutual feelings towards one another.." he said, face still slightly turned from you.
"But, Scara, can I ask what brought this up so suddenly?" you had finally ask. The Harbinger stare at you longingly and removes his fist from his mouth, scratching the back of his neck. "I was, uh, a bit jealous of.." He looks down, feeling embarrassed to say it. But you wanted an answer so he had no choice but to give it. "I was jealous of Tartaglia hanging around you."
Your heart fluttered. He looks adorable if you had to be honest. Who knew that he could be jealous by someone who was much younger than both you and him? You had long knew that the young Harbinger was up to something the moment he came up to you with the smile used when he was plotting something. You weren't that dense.
A laugh escaped your lips, getting the attention of the male. "H, hey, what's so funny?" His brows scrunched together in confusion.
You shake your head to dismiss the question and soon cup his face, bringing him close so that your foreheads were touching. Staring longingly into his indigo eyes, you spoke. "There is no need to be jealous because my heart belonged to you long ago."

"Haha, is it in your family blood or did you just not eat your veggies?" The eleventh Harbinger, Tartaglia, laughs mockingly at the height difference between himself and the sixth Harbinger, Scaramouche.
Scaramouche clicked his tongue and turns his head away, crossing his arms in full displeasure. "Hey, hey, Pedrelino, take a look at this guy!" He calls on over, waving his hands as he beckons you closer with one hand while his other rested upon Scaramouche's hat. Yes, one of your a great many alias was Pedrelino. That being said, yes, you were a Harbinger.
Scaramouche's face flared red in anger. "Grr, cut that out you fucking bastard!" he growls, shooing the ginger's hand away which just pushed Tartaglia to mock him even more, all the while laughing.
"What are you going to do? Punch my face? I'd like to see you try," he laughs, clutching his stomach as he tries to take it down a notch.
Scaramouche glares at him, jaws tightening as well as his fist. Without warning, Scaramouche kicks the eleventh right on his reproductive system hard. Tartaglia's eyes widened as he stiffened up before falling onto the floor whilst clutching his part, groaning. "No, but I can do that," Scaramouche spat, glaring eyes hovering the taller male.
He walks away from the groaning male and to you. "Uh, Scara, you know you could've killed him." You chuckled forcefully as small beads of sweat trickle down your forehead.
"That was my plan." He clicks his tongue, taking one more look at the eleventh. "Too bad he didn't." More sweat went down your head, but said nothing and gave him a forced, close-eyed smile.
"Then, should we go now?" you asked, changing the topic. He silently nods and the two of you left the place where Harbingers would group up, leaving the ginger aching on the floor.
It wasn't anything strange for you to hang around Scaramouche. In truth, you two were lovers. Surprising as it sounded, it was a fact that not even the Fatui diplomats could avoid.
How did someone as cruel as Scaramouche, ended up with you, someone who is completely the opposite and more outgoing than he was? That was one if the great mysteries of Teyvat and the only ones who knew the answer to that was you and Scaramouche.
"Master Pedrelino!" A Fatui underling calls your name in a rush, drawing your attention to your side. "Hm? What is it?" you ask. The diplomat looks to short male beside you who was glaring at them. "Sir, I've been sent with a message by the Tsaritsa about your mission," they said, gulping back a lump in their throat under Scaramouche's gaze.
"Oh? Could you hold onto that until tomorrow?" you said all the while smiling. "But, sir, the Tsaritsa.." the diplomat trails. "The Tsaritsa is important, yes, but I'm about done with my fair share of work today," you reminded them kindly that it was literally time to go home and have dinner.
"Ah, my apologies, Master Pedrelino. I have forgotten the time. Please, pardon me of my rudeness," they said, bowing their head's down. You laughed it off, waving your hand in front of you in small motions as a way to say that it was fine. "It's alright, you're just doing your job. Anyway, I'm sure you're dying to go home too, yes?"
"A, ah, yes, I am. Then, have a good night, sir, and you too, Master Scaramouche." The diplomat quickly leaves, your smile not dropping from your face at the retreating figure. "Tch. Look at how loose your subordinates are, (Y/N)," Scaramouche comments, calling you by your name now that you two were done with work, "This is all because of your carefree ruling."
You chuckle. "Well, if I were to scare them, they would apply to be moved to another Harbinger and then we wouldn't get anything done for the Tsaritsa just like a little somebody," you teasingly comment. He clicks his tongue. "They are fine under my ruling," he said, referring to his subordinates, and crossed his arms while looking somewhere else.
You chuckled and place a hand on his hat. "Whatever you say, shorty." "Has Tartaglia rub his filth on you? Do you want me to go back and kick him again?" He glares. "Haha, no need. I'm sure you'll kill him for sure." You dismiss his serious tone. "I was planning on it."
Not wanting to actually make him turn around to kill the brunette, you stayed silent until you two got home. "Anything you want for dinner?" you ask, making your way to the kitchen as soon as you stepped inside. "No," he simply answers, taking of his ridiculously large hat and setting it down on the living room's sofa.
"Okay. Wash up and come back down, I'll have dinner ready by then," you said, soon hearing him go upstairs after a quick 'okay' from him. As promised, dinner was ready and the two of you ate whilst enjoying a nice conversation.
You joined him in your shared bedroom shortly after you showered, getting under the blankets with him. "What are you reading?" you ask, crawling on top of him-- encaging him between your arms and closing your eyes, sighing. "A book," he answers blandly. You chuckled. "I know that it's a book. What is the book about?"
"A person," he answers, yet again in a bland tone, eyes glued boredly onto the pages. "Wow, that totally sums it up," you huffed. "If you want to know, you can read it after," he said. You smiled. "No, I'm good."
A comfortable silence was shared between you two and the only sounds to be heard was the rustling of pages being turned and his loud heartbeat that was right beside your ears.
Slowly, your eyelids fell heavy, the sound of his rhythmic heartbeat lulling you to sleep. Soon, you fell asleep. Scaramouche continued on, not realizing that you had fallen asleep until he finished the book.
"Huh, (Y/N)?" He looks down to see you sleeping. His brows furrow in disbelief and places the book on the bedside table.
He tried to nudge you off of him, but you were simply a much bigger man than he was. He sighs and with nothing to do about his situation, he slid his body underneath you.
Actually, he didn't mind the added warmth, but he rather not be caught dead with you on top of him, although most already know of your relationship. He just awkward, let's be frank.
He takes a glance at your face and every little detail of it-- your long eyelashes that would flutter once in a while whilst you dream, your nose, and lips. The sigh that left his lips soon after sounded irritated, but really, he wasn't. Not one bit.
To prove it, a small smile tug the corner of his lips and whispered, "Good night."

It was a secret and a secret shall it stay.
The sixth Harbinger is harsh, cruel, cold, and sadistic. That is the image he painted for himself so if he were to be caught dead with a lover, what would come to the reputation he built up himself? He is not one to show kind emotions towards any of his subordinates so he shouldn't be lenient with you.
"Are you mocking me?" Scaramouche snaps at one of his subordinates, looking down at the underling as if they were the most disgusting thing he has ever saw. "N, no, I'm not, my lord.. I spoke out of turn," they stammer, feeling humiliated as he is being scolded in front of you and other Fatui members.
No one spoke up, forced to watch the scene before you unfold. He was scary, you admit, but there was a charm to him that drew you in-- a charm that no one else but you know. "Tut. I have no time for pests like you," Scaramouche snarls. "Leave my sight."
"B, but, my lord, the Tsaritsa--" "I don't care what the Tsaritsa ordered you. I don't want you here." His eyes reflected his tone; harsh. "If you want to live, then you best not make me angry."
The underling quickly left, but not before paying respect to his superior out of fear, and to never return to his ruling. Once gone from sight, Scaramouche's expression fell to a relax one. "All of you.. Just go. I can't deal with this." He sighs, massaging his temples.
His subordinates turn to leave, not daring to say anything more to upset him-- unless they had a death wish or something. With one more glance at the Harbinger, you turn to leave. However, you were stopped by his commanding voice. "You stay. I have things to talk to you about," he beckons you back.
You could feel the uneasy stares you're receiving from the other Fatui underlings, but did not dare wait to find out what sort of bullying you'll receive.
Once gone from sight, Scaramouche sat on a fairly large rock and sighed, using his arms as support to lean back. "Damn those pests. All they are good for is being stupid," he states to no one in particular, closing his eyes.
You stood there, observing the short male silently. Then, "What are you doing just standing there?" he asks, his deep coloured eyes reflecting off of yours. He pats the empty space beside him, silently ordering you to come sit.
Once you did, he rested his head on your lap, hat off on the ground. "You're not going to ask for permission?" you joked, gone was your silent and diligent persona now that there was no one else around. "Shut up.." he mumbles, but after a while, he asks, "You don't mind, right?"
You chuckled. "Not at all," you answered, putting a hand on his head. "Good." Your hands began to move on his head, stroking his soft, indigo hair. He sighs to your touch and feel his shoulders relax.
Enjoying the silence, you thought back to when you were a fresh recruit that was assigned under his ruling. You were scared, honestly, when you heard other Fatui underlings whisper how cruel he was to his subordinates-- even going as far as to leave physical scars on their body.
However, you could say that you have gotten the shorty's amusement and even his heart. It was strange when he first approached you on your day away from him-- who knew he could be infatuated to a weaker person than he was? Well, none of that matter now. All you need to know- and he'll remind you again- was that you were his.
Honestly, you wished that you two could leave the Fatui and abandon your duties as a member, but you knew that Scaramouche seeks something that only the Tsaritsa could offer and wouldn't give it up for the world.
"Hey, why did you stop?" he asks, upset that you stopped stroking his head. "Oh, sorry.. I didn't realise I did," you chuckled. He huffs, but relaxed once again under your touch, closing his eyes as he does.
"Hey," he calls shortly after silence. "I'm not 'hey', Scara," you jokingly reply. He clicked his tongue at your one sided humour. "Whatever. Uh, could you.. Uh.." he trails, the words after the dying on his tongue.
"Hm? What was that, Scara?" You look down at the Harbinger, seeing his cheeks slightly tinged with pink. "C, could you, uhm.." The dusted pink began to brighten up, visible to you that you are sure that the light isn't pulling any tricks.
His eyes averts to somewhere else as he tries to speak. "Can you.. Tell me those words..?" he finally mumbles out. You blinked a couple times, registering his words but coming up empty. "Huh? What words?" you ask, hoping he'd answer.
"Y, you know.. The one where you.." He pauses, his face warm and tingly from the blood rushing to his face. "Like me..?" he whispers. It was barely audible, but you heard it.
Your lips cracked into a smile and you cackled. Who knew that he could be so cute? You laughed so hard that tears were forming at the corner of your eyes. "H, hey!" Scaramouche's face turned a deeper red, feeling embarrassed and wishing that he didn't say anything at all.
He clicks his tongue and turn on his side to face away from you. "Hey, hey, don't turn away from me," you out a hand on his shoulder, trying to budge him to turn him onto his back again
Your laughter now dying out, you stare at the shorty's side profile. Knowing that he won't look at you, you catch him by surprise by placing a kiss on his cheeks. And finally, he turns, face flushed as he touches his cheek. "I love you, Scara." You gave a close-eyed smile. His heart fluttered, but he wouldn't say that out loud-- not even in a million years.
Still having him lie on his back, he averts his eyes once more. ".. I, I know that.." Chuckling, you leaned closer to his face and instead of a kiss on his cheeks, you placed your lips onto his, catching him suprised yet again.
Scaramouche stares at you blankly, the wheels turning in his head visibly represented by his expression. You grin, making a small comment, "You're such a tsundere."

Even though he appeared as the cruel and scary Sixth Harbinger, it wasn't all that hard for you to get close to him- seeing as your opposite attracted him to you out of pure curiosity. At first, you were indeed a tad bit scared when you bumped into him as he had a scary aura with a face to match it. Even the following encounters with him were not the best of memories-- putting a knife to your throat was not a nice experience.
In truth, you don't even know how you got inside his walls of thorns and is now hanging out with him as if the encounters didn't happen like it did. Well, that was a long time ago and now, you two were on a more intimate level than friendship.
"Why won't you let me see him?" you ask, pointing towards a closed door as your brows furrowed. You went to visit him at the inn he stays at in Inazuma a couple of times now, but any and all attempts to see him were turned down by one of his subordinates. It has gotten to the point where you began to show how much you were upset. "I'm sorry, but Master Scaramouche ordered us to tell everyone who comes to see him to leave."
"I'm his lover. Can't you just let me take a peek inside?" you ask, growing more irritated the longer you stood outside his room. The Fatui underling shook their head. "I'm sorry. Master Scaramouche has specifically ordered that you are to not step inside."
Your face fumed a shade of red. "Tell him to come outside if he doesn't want me to go in then! He has locked himself up for a week now!" you raised your voice to the unwavering underling. "I'm really sorry. But even we were told not to disturb him."
Day and night, the Fatui would guard his door while he locks himself up in a dark room. You don't know if he has eaten at all.
Taking a deep breath, you decided to go with Plan B, seeing as the underling was strong in their stands to stop you. You turned around and walk a couple steps away from the door before quickly rushing back and attacking the underling, knocking them out with a thud. "I'm sorry, but I need to have a chat with Scaramouche," you quickly say to the Fatui.
Opening the door without making a creaking sound, you were greeted with a dark room. The furniture inside were outlined with the only light source-- the light from outside. You strain your eyes inside and could vaguely see a silhouette of a man. "Scaramouche?"
The silhouette flinches at his name, quickly getting on his feet. "(Y/N)? How did you get in? Those worthless.." "I knocked the one outside, sorry," you add, hoping that it would save the poor subordinate's life.
"Just go." His voice was harsh, but you stayed unwavering in the dark. "No. I haven't seen you at all and I'm getting worried about your health," you said, feeling the wall beside you for the light switch. "There's no need to worry about me so just go."
Dismissing his words, you continued to feel the wall until you finally found it. "Aha!" With that, you clicked the switch. Smiling, you turned to look at Scaramouche, but that soon fell when you had taken a look at him, eyes wide and full of shock.
In front of you, stood the same Scaramouche that you knew, but with a slight difference; he had cat ears. "Scara, I.." You were at a lost for words, flabbergasted by the two furry things on his head. His face was showed embarrassment with deep dusted red on his cheeks. He adverts his eyes to the ground, not wanting to look at your silly expression. "I told you to go.." he mumbles quietly, no longer were there harshness in his tone.
You two stood there quietly; one with embarrassment and one with wide eyes. "Hey, if you're gonna laugh, just do it already and leave," he snap, eyes still glued on the ground.
You were surprised at his words, but that was replaced with a smile, walking closer to the Harbinger and stopping at his foot, but not before closing the door behind you. He moves his head up to look at you, confusion written on his face.
Looking at his cat ears one more time, you place a hand on top of his head, looking at him with an earnest smile. You watched as his face turned red again, your smile growing wider. "Y, you.. W, what are you doing?" he asks.
You chuckled, not answering his question and instead, stroke his head. This only made Scaramouche's warm face even hotter. "H, hey..!" You hushed him, giving him a close-eyed smile.
Giving into your wishes, he closes his eyes and allows you to pat his head. He admits, he quite like the warm feeling on his head, but he would never say that out loud. However, that one thought betrayed him as a low and quiet purr leaves him. And to make things more worse for him, the room was still so the purr was quite loud enough for you to hear.
You two stare at each other, both of your eyes widened at the surprisingly cute sound. "I..!!" Scaramouche stammers, words dying out in him. You quickly regained your composure, your smile returning to your lips. "Do you want a hug?" you ask. Hesitantly, Scaramouche answers by nodding his head, wishing that a meator fell on him at this point.
You two got comfortable underneath the blankets, Scaramouche resting on top of you as you continue to stroke his head. You notice that he also has a tail to match his ears which you found adorable. His arms wraps around your waist and his tail wrapped around one of your legs.
"Is this why you locked yourself up for a week?" you ask softly. He subtly nods, burying his head deeper in order to hide his face. "If that's the case, there was no need to hide." You chuckled at his childish gesture.
"I wouldn't be caught dead with these things by a subordinate," he mutters. You laugh, a smile so wide that it could hurt. "How did you get them?" He was quiet for a few seconds before answering you. "It doesn't matter.. Can we not talk about this?"
"Well, they are very cute. I kinda want it to be permanent," you state in a joking manner. "Shut up.." he snaps quietly. You feel him growing tired under your touch. He was enjoying this and you knew, although he wasn't going to confess anytime soon.
You kissed the crown of his head, hearing light snores coming from the male. "Sleep tight, Scara."

You should have known. The moment he came into your life with a suspiciously bright attitude with all sunshine and rainbows despite how he looks-- it should have been obvious that he wanted something from you.
"Why are you doing this?" you ask, looking up at him as tears drip onto the wooden floor. Where did the man you loved go? The one who stood before you was nobody you know. He was different; cold.
Scaramouche looks down at your body that sat on the floor, one side of your cheek red from the slap you received from him. "Why?" he repeats, kneeling on one knee to be on your eye level. "Because I came to collect your parents' debt."
Your eyes widen in disbelief, realization sticking down upon you. "Yeah, that's right, (Y/N)." A sadistic smile adorns his crazed eyes as he cups your chin. "It's been years since they paid-- even going to another nation to hide. But now matter, we Fatui will always find our debtors."
Your eyes follow as he stands up, looking down on you as if you were some pest. "But I must praise them." He gestures behind him-- to the two lump of bodies on the floor. "They actually got away from us for a long time."
"Anyway, I guess I'll take them being dead as their payment," he said, making his way to the front door, fixing his hat.
Just before he could step outside, you had to ask, "Then, why did you pretend that you loved me?" Your voice croaked, filled with betrayal and sadness. Scaramouche turns his head to look at you, eyes holding no affection towards you. A smile crept on his face, quite amused by your question. "Why? I thought that I'd toy with you for a little while," he answers. "I not only get to kill your parents, but break their precious child as well. I'd say that's double the entertainment."
It was unbelievable and sickening to think. You gave him your love and even showed yourself in your most vulnerable state in an enclosed space, but he only gotten entertainment from all that?
"You bastard." You grit your teeth. "I'll kill you!" Scaramouche laughs at your words, finding it hard to believe that you could even stand a chance against him. His body now somewhat facing you, he stares at you side eye with wicked eyes as a hand covers part of his face. "I'd like to see you try."
With that, he leaves you in the dark house with only the sun that shone through the open door as your light.
Now far from your sight, Scaramouche was left to his own thoughts. Admittedly, he did love you. When he first saw you out on the streets? That's when he fell for you. He really did enjoy the time he spent with you, already missing your warmth and smile that was his world.
He didn't know his debtors had a child, so when he knew, he was torn. He wanted to leave the Fatui then and there, but there would be nothing for him after and he knew that he would be killed by the other Harbingers for betraying the Tsaritsa.
However, he didn't need to kill you so he left you alive, although knowing how much hate you now had for the little Skirmisher. He knows that there was nothing he could do to amend the relationship and he accepts that, waiting for the day when you come to hunt him down.
"Then kill me, (Y/N), because I am a wicked man."

Everyone should learn something from this and that is to not force your own beliefs onto others. I normally don't reblog posts but I have been in a similar predicament before that I find it irritating?? (Is that the word?)
Please, let us all be civil and mature.
I love you, Elli. <3
To the Anon that doesn’t believe Venti is straight, that’s perfectly fine that’s your personal head canon, however don’t fucking push that onto other people, you assuming his sexuality based on his looks and then making comments like that, disgusting, we all head canon characters in our own ways, but I personally don’t want to hear you admit to stereotyping the characters solely based on their looks, nobody asked for your opinion so please keep your dumbass out of the Authors business for the sake of not further embarrassing yourself in front of everyone
!!
Anon took the words right out of my mouth

This feeling in his chest.. It was suffocating him, but not in the bad way that people would think. At first, he really did thought that he was dying. His heart would always do this to him everytime he gets even a glimpse of you. It was common knowledge of what he might be feeling, but for someone like him, it was foreign and new. Did he like it? No, not really.
His beating heart feels like it wants to burst out of his chest, wanting to shout out at you something- anything that would calm his heart! But, he doesn't know what.
"Razor!"
That voice. That voice he was so familiar with yet gets jumpy when he hears it.. He turns around, feeling that suffocating feeling in his chest starting up again.
In the midst of grass he was at, the way you ran up to him with a smile on your face and basking in the sunlight, creating a soft glow around you.. All that to Razor was something he'd never forget for years to come. "(Y/N).." he calls out your name softly, mesmerized at the sight of you.
Your smile just got wider when you reached his side and sat down. "Good morning, how are you?" you ask, sitting down on the grass beside him. His face was immediately dusted with pink when you were in his sight but flared up when you sat beside him.
He gulps back a lump in his throat as he takes in all parts of your face- your bright eyes that was full of life, those long eyelashes that makes the eyes stand out, those lips- oh how he wishes to do something with those lips of yours.
When he stayed silent, not saying anything to you, you look at with a quizzical face. "Hey, Razor, are you okay?" You noticed that he's been out of it lately so today was no exception to your worrying observation. You stretched an arm out and lightly place it on his shoulders, getting the boy spooked at the sudden warmth. "Oh, uh, yes.." he answers.
"If you're not feeling well, you should rest at home. We can always hang out when you're feeling better," you said and stood up. The silver-haired boy looks up at your smiling face before looking away. "Yeah, I think that would be a good idea.." he agrees. You took him home, making sure he doesn't suddenly collapse on the way, before going home.
Razor laid on his bed, face burying into his pillow. His heart started to calm down but he still thinks that he should tell his parents, just in case it might be a medical thing that he's not aware of.
When the sun started to set, his parents came home from their work with a smile and a sing song voice as they call for their only child. "Razor, mommy and daddy are home," his mother say and the both made their way to his room. Upon seeing their son looking sad, their hearts ached.
"Razor? What's wrong, baby?" His mother quickly rushes and sat on the side of his bed, rubbing his back. It took a while but soon, Razor sat up on his bed, crossing his legs while looking down. "Is something wrong with me?" were the words he whispers. It broke his parents heart but more importantly, made them worry.
"No, nothing is wrong with you, sweetie," his mother reassures. "Can you tell me what happened to make you think like this?" She puts a comforting arm around him and bring him close.
He was silent, thinking of how he should explain it to his parents. Then, "It's.. My heart.." he finally says, a hand clutchs his shirt of where his heart is at. "Everytime.. When (Y/N) shows up.. I.. My heart.." He couldn't go on. He simply doesn't know how to say it. But, those words were enough for his parents to look at each other with a smile and laughed.
"Aw, my sweet baby boy." His mother rested her face on top of his head. "If you're wondering, no, you're not dying my sweet baby," his mother says. An immediate relief washes over Razor, but that still didn't answer why he was feeling like he was being suffocated.
"Then, why.. My heart?" He looks at his parents. "It's called 'love', my boy," his father chuckles. "But, it's a different kind of love- not the love you receive from us." Razor was beyond confused upon hearing his dad's words.
"Tell me, boy, you love us, right?" his father asks, which to that, Razor nods immediately with no hesitation. "And what about (Y/N)? Would you like it if you see them with someone else?" Razor thought about it and just imagining you hanging out with someone else made him sad and shook his head in response. "Those are the two. One, the loving care of a family or friend, but doesn't go on from beyond that. The second, is the one you're feeling- the kind of intimate love. An example, me and your mother."
Razor kind of understood it better and accepted the beating of his heart whenever he sees you. But, another question arises. How to make you stay with him rather than be with someone else? "Um, so.. How does.. Razor make (Y/N).. With me?" he asks.
"Well, my boy, there are many ways you can express your feelings towards them," his father says. "I, for one, confessed to your mother confidently under the large tree of Windrise. I can still remember it to this day." His father looked like he was off to somewhere else with a smile on his head as he rested his hands on his hips.
"What do you mean? If I remember correctly, you were a stuttering mess!" his mother points out. "I remembered that I had to pull you in to make the confession quicker!" The two were now happily arguing of how the confession went as Razor was left on his own thoughts. Confession? All he had was to say what he feels and hope you'd reciprocate his feelings? The thought of him made him cower.
His father noticed that Razor was being silent, knowing full well of what he was thinking. "Boy, if you don't tell them how you feel, sooner or later, someone else will replace that special spot in their heart," he said in a stern tone. Those words made Razor's heart break as the thought of you being with someone other than him all happy flashes through his mind.
Razor was full of determination with a flare that sparked up within his eyes that his father could see and smiles to. Tomorrow, he thought, was going to be the day he tells you how he feels and that's exactly what he does.
The next day, Razor had knocked on your house's door and waited for someone to open it. Lucky for him, you were the one to receive it, already up and ready for the day. "Razor? Um, good morning," you greet, surprised that he was at your door since you thought it would be good for him to rest. "Are you feeling better--" He doesn't let you finish your sentence as he grabs your wrist and drags you outside and to the field where you two always hang out.
"Um, Razor, are you okay? What's wrong?" you ask, staring at the back of the boy. Then, "Do you remember the first time we met?" he asks, catching you off guard. "Huh? Yeah, it's in this field.." you answered. "You were sleeping and I kind of trip over you since I didn't see you."
"This field.. Brings happy memories to Razor.." he said. You were confused to what he was getting at but didn't say anything and let him continue. "I.."
Razor let's go of your hand and turns around with a serious look on his face with a light pink dusting his cheeks. Razor had never looked so serious and that alone, made your heart raced. "Razor.. Likes.. (Y/N).." he finally says, his eyes never once wavering as to see your reaction.
The breeze suddenly became a lighter wind, blowing both of your hairs. The feelings for him were the same as his and it made you smile that both you and he felt the same. "I like you too, Razor."

She looked so beautiful sitting in the midst of those glaze lilies, a smile on her lips and eyes gentle with a soft glow from the sunlight as she looked at the flowers. She plucks a glaze lily and brought it up to her nose, pushing a strand of her long hair behind her ears.
At that moment, it felt as if the rest of the world stopped. Your eyes glimmered and your face dusted with a light pink. To you, she was a goddess under that one beautiful and bright day and hope that you could get to see more of her in the future.
You see, you were a travelling painter and writer who is inspired by anything and everything around you. Travelling all across Teyvat, anybody would thought that you would have already met that eureka moment at its highest peak but no, you didn't- not until your travel to Liyue, that is.
Liyue, like all regions of Teyvat, had a unique style that distinguishes itself from others: the aesthetic of buildings, the aromatic dishes, its culture, yearly festivals-- you name it. It draws many and all sorts of people- either for work or for fun and you were there for the latter.
The bustling of crowds and the bright lights of the city at night have you that peaceful yet lively atmosphere that made you look at everything in awe. There was simply too much things one could write about and many places surrounding Liyue to paint, but none of them really sparked that motivation.
It was only when you took a walk outside of Liyue, that you found your spark. In the field full of glaze lilies, there was a woman, alone, in Liyue esque clothing. She had hair that was white as the snow in Dragonspine and eyes that was the colour of a phoenix and full of love and life. Your heart pounded against your chest like never before. She was alluring.
You took a step closer but the sound of grass bring crumpled upon made her alert and her reaction to the sound was faster than a normal person, like she was a warrior on full alert. "Who are you?" she asks sternly and her soft gaze became sharp as soon as her eyes landed on you.
"Oh, um, sorry to alert you," you started, "I was just passing by when I saw you and um.." You didn't say what you were thinking- her looking beautiful- to save yourself from embarrassment and from the- what would have been- suspicious gaze on you.
"Oh, is that so?" she says and starts to inspect you from head to toe, taking every little details of you. "Hm, it doesn't look like you're from Liyue. Are you an adventurer?"
"Ah, you can say that.." You scratch the back of your head shyly. "I'm travelling across Teyvat for inspiration." The lady hums, bringing her fingers on her chin. "So, I'm assuming you're here for inspiration?" she clarifies herself and you nod. A smile forms on her lips. "Not a lot come by this place as there are many monsters and that there are glaze lilies that can already be found within the city."
She then stood up and turns her full body to you. "Then, I shall be leaving so I can give you the scenery to help inspire you," she says and bows politely, excusing herself from your sight. You watched as her figure disappears from your sight, returning to the city. When you turned around, the scenery before you felt different. It felt sort of lonely and empty without the lady who basked in the sunlight and that spark suddenly died as soon as your eyes landed on it.
You decided to call it a day out in the wilderness and return back to the safety of the city, but not before seeing something glimmer in the midst of flowers under the sun's light. You walked closer and see a jewelry just sitting there and you presumed that it was the lady's so you picked it up, but since she was far gone, you can't hope to catch up to her, so you just hope that you two will meet again.
On the next day, you found Luhua Pool and decided to paint the scenery. It was very beautiful indeed so you sat there and painted away. As you were painting, you couldn't help but let your mind wander to the lady from yesterday.
She was a local which means you would see her somewhere in the city. However, she didn't look like a simple worker of the local stores or restaurants which meant that you can't simply walk into buildings and expect her to be there.
You still remember of the jewelry that you found and rummage your satchel for it. It was kept well inside a small box that you bought not soon after returning to the city. You suddenly pictured the white-haired female, alone, in that field of flowers, looking so beautiful that it took your breath away.
Subconsciously, you picked up a new canvas and paintbrush and spent that day painting the scene from yesterday with the best of your memories. The field itself was pretty, but it was her that made it even more so beautiful than it already was. When you were finished, the sun was already setting in the horizon. You took a step back to look at your work and praised it. It was your favourite and the one where you put so much care and effort into. If only the lady was there to see it.
You packed your belongings inside your satchel and made your way down the mountain you were on. You felt that the sun was setting rather quickly because the moon and a couple of stars were already dusting the now dark sky and you were nowhere near the city.
Not being a vision user, it kind of sucked that you have to fear of hilichurls suddenly appearing before you. The thought alone made you clutch the strap of your satchel and began frantically looking around.
Then- to your dread- you see a bunch of hilichurls in the distance. Some were sleeping while others were awake and on guard; there was even a mitachurl which just made the whole thing much worse than it already is. You can make your way around the camp so that's what you did, not knowing there there was a sleeping hilichurl in the direction you were heading. It woke up and set the alarm for the others as well.
"Oh, for the love of..!" You gripped tightly on your satchel and made a run for it. Through the years of travelling, your legs gotten quite used to long travels, as well as running away from encountered hilichurls. It was something not worth bragging since it's for survival.
You looked back and see that a hilichurl with a fire bat-like weapon sped up than the rest. In a panic, you sprinted faster, but since you weren't looking forward, you didnt see the conveniently placed log.
You tripped over it and ended up scratching your chin from the impact. You turn your body and see that they the samachurls was no more than a metre away, ready to swing its axe. Closing your eyes, you expected for the worst.
When ten seconds passed and the strike didn't come, you open one eye and then both to see some sort of barrier in front of you. "Are you alright?" Upon hearing the voice, you looked over your shoulders and see the white-haired female of whom you just painted of not too long ago.
Not waiting for an answer, she casted little rocks that was strong enough to wipe all of the hilichurls out of sight and returned back to you, kneeling down to inspect your injuries. "You're lucky that I was on my way back to the city and found you," she states. "Archon forbids what might have happened to you if I were not around."
She gets up on her feet again and stretches out a hand for you to grab. "Come on, I'll treat your wounds at my place." You didn't think it through as you hastily accepted the offered hand and followed her back inside the city.
She lead you up a couple of stairs and to your shocking news, up to the Jade Chamber that you had heard so many praises about. "Um, excuse me, but isn't this place off limits for common folks?" you ask, your eyes darting across the place with a mix of uneasiness and excitement. "It is, usually, but since you are injured, I've made an exception."
The words caught you by surprise and stare at the back of the female who rummage through shelves and drawers, looking for the things she needed. "Wait, so, are you Lady Ningguang, the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing!?" you exclaim. She hums, a small smile tugging her lips. "I see you're well informed of Liyue. Yes, I am and this is my home," she answers. Once she found the thing she wanted- which was a medical kit- she walks to where you were sitting and places the kit on the table beside you.
"This will sting so I apologise beforehand," she said and took out a cotton, dabbing some kind of ointment on it. She gently cups your face with her free hand and tilts it upwards before placing the cotton on the bottom of your chin.
She wasn't lying when it would sting and you hissed at the sudden stinging pain you felt. She apologises again before doing it a couple more times. "There, that should heal up in no time," she says as soon as she pulls away.
You watched her quietly from your seat, mesmerized by the sight of her as she cleans up. "Beautiful." Before you could comprehend what came out from underneath your breath, Ningguang heard it and looks at you with a baffled look. "I beg your pardon?"
You realized what you said and shook your head hastily. "A, ah, did I say that out loud?" you ask, more to yourself. I-it's just that.. Um, I really think you're beautiful, Lady Ningguang and I hope that we could meet more often.." You scratched your cheek, averting your gaze from the Tianquan.
There was a brief awkward silence which made you kinda wish that you hadn't said what you said just a few moments ago. Then, "Thank you," she says. You look up and see her smiling. "I.. I do like the thought of knowing someone outside of working matters."
Your eyes glimmered in happiness that soon reached your lips. "R-really? Then, I'm happy," you said and remembered something the slipped your mind. "Oh, right, I was wondering if it would be alright to ask what you were doing out so late?"
"Oh, I was looking for something that I had dropped yesterday. I had thought I dropped it by the fields.." she answers. You knew what that 'something' is and asked, "Are you perhaps looking for a jewelry?" She looks at you with hope in her eyes. "Do you know where it is?"
You nodded and look through your satchel. "I found it lying on the grass and kept it safe, thinking that it was yours," you say in honest and pulled out the box it was kept in before walking towards her, stretching the box towards her. "I'm glad to have stumbled upon you so that I could return it to you."
Ningguang smiles and accepts the box. "Thank you," she says in a gentle tone. "By the way, I haven't gotten your name, have I?" You shook your head. "My name is (Y/N)," you answered.
"Well, (Y/N), I hope we can become great friends," she says to which you happily nod. "Me too."

"Haha, you're so cute, ojou-chan."
You didn't like this. You didn't like how you found yourself trapped between him and the mattress as his hands made its way to your lower back, slowly removing the red ribbon made of silk that held your dress together.
"Don't worry.." he hushes, feeling your tears as he buries his face in the crook of your neck, leaving soft kisses that would usually make one's heart flutter. "I'll make you feel amazing."
You felt stupid for not noticing sooner of how his behaviour progressively became more aggressive and possessive of you. Now, you were trapped under him, squirming and pushing him off of you and wishing how you could turn back in time to the moment where you saw him bloodied up in the middle of Guili Plains. O how you wished you never helped him.
He was a foreigner and by the looks of his attire, you knew he had some relations to Snezhnaya. That should have been the biggest alarm set off that you had ignored. But even without noticing that, you also missed the little ones like the time when he returned to you one night with blood on his blade and a missing friend.
His kisses trailed down just above your chest before he pulled back to admire your beauty from above and thinking how much beautiful you would be when you're covered with marks made by yours truly.
Swiftly, he pulls down the white, strapless dress he had prepared for you for the little date just moments before your capture, exposing just your chest to the cold air and the hungry look from him. He was going to take his time taking it off but he was impatient and wanted to just pound into you until you were fucked dumb and could only chant his name as if he was a god. "Oh, you don't know how good you look, ojou-chan," he comments, showing his true, sadistic smile.
Instinctively, you reached to cover your bear chest. "P, please, Childe.. Please stop this," you said shakily, seeing as he was returning to leave more hotter kisses on your skin. "We can talk about this--" "Talk about what?" he asks. "I think there's no need for any more chatter, don't you think?"
"I've been an extremely good boy, ojou-chan," he said, a rough hand tracing your smooth frame while the other was used to support his body. "Other than that one person, I haven't bloodied my blade further." What? Was he talking about your friend that went missing? You felt a pang of shock and fear. The Childe that hovers above you was like an entirely different person that you know nothing of-- not even the dangers that lurk with him being around.
"N, no!" You used whatever strength you had to try and at least budge him but to your fear, he chuckled at your weak attempt. "Oh, ojou-chan, there's no need to put up a front with me~" he coos, and smirks when he feels you shiver under his touch. "I know you want this too."
This couldn't be real. No way--
"You're crazy!" You kneed his stomach as you spat. It was something Childe did not expect and he groans as he presses his head on your shoulder, gripping your hip hard that makes you cry out in pain.
"Urgh..! I didn't think that you would still try to act so high and mighty," he said as he moved away from you, voice cold. Now looking at his eyes, your body stiffened and all colour was lost from you. That was a mistake. "You're really good at tempting people, you know that, (Y/N)?" His eyes narrow as he smiles. Now you really know you've messed up from the moment he called you by your name and not by the nickname he has given you. "Sometimes, I wonder if you're as pure as you say you are or you're just putting up an act to get others in bed with you."
"N, no.. That's not it.." you weakly defended. "Oh? It isn't?" He laughs. "Then, please, enlighten me as to what your real reason is, hm?" You didn't have one. You genuinely don't understand what you said or did that would make him think that way.
"Not going to speak? So, you really are a slut who's out for cock," he said. You felt furious but you were too scared to speak up. He went on to return to undress you, finding it irritating that you were doing this. However, before he could do any of that, he was received a slap in the face.
Another mistake and you realized it. Childe just hovers above you, head turned to the side as he comprehends what the stinging feeling he was receiving on his face. "C, Childe, I--" Words failed to form and you gulped back a lump in your throat.
He returns his focus to you, eyes crazed. "You really want to rush this, huh, (Y/N)?" Grabbing both of your delicate hands, he locks them above your head with one single hand. He watches you struggle and he's not even using half of his strength.
He clicks his tongue and wonders why you're still trying to escape. I mean, you want him too, right? Isn't that why you were acting all so kind to him whilst trying to make him jealous by talking to other people in the same alluring voice?
"Tch. Stop acting as if you don't want this," he snaps. "What? You don't think I can do it better than the ones you've messed around with?" Looking at his eyes, you know that you have completely lost him.
"I'll have you know that my cock is much bigger than the ones you've fucked," he said. And having finally snapped, he rips your dress, leaving you in your underwear.
He went and kissed you, forcing his tongue inside your mouth. The air was growing thin as you were struggling to breathe, trying to fight with your own while trying to free your hands.
Luckily, he left your mouth, allowing you to breathe. It seems that he needed some air too. "Hah.. Just relax, I promise I'll fuck you better than the others." He smirks, seeing how red you were in the face as you were breathing hard.
He moves to your neck and hungrily attacks it, making you breathless once more. You fought back a moan, biting the insides of your cheek. You shouldn't moan. You shouldn't cave into the touches of this man-- this stranger. But Childe knew better and you felt him smirk into your neck. Having his ego boosted knowing how hard you were trying to resist his touches, his free hand caresses your body until they latched onto one of your breasts, feeling that you were once again trying to bite down a gasp.
"Childe, please.. Let go..!" You begged, more tears staining your face. There was really no more hope. I mean, you couldn't even move him off of you in the slightest.
Childe dismisses your pleas as he leaves wet trails of kisses down from your neck to your other breast, latching his mouth onto your other perked nipple. His pretty slut, there was no need for you to fight anymore. He can and will give you everything you ever wanted and more.
Switching to the other nipple, he gives the same treatment as the other, wetting them nicely and earning another breathy moan that you failed to conceal.
A hand of his made its way much lower and forced open your legs for him. Adrenaline rushed through you and jolted you to close your legs but he already had one of his legs between yours and had his hand hold one of your legs still.
He moves back to stare at your bare skin while you stare at him still fully clothed. "You're awfully quiet, ojou-chan," he says. "Let me hear your slutty moans, hm?" He tilts his head and smiles, reaching to caress your face, wiping your tears before going back to suffocate you with his tongue. He was a crazed sadist.
He started to press and rub his knee on your clothed cunt and such action made you gasp on his tongue. He grins and continues to rile you up and get you wet just enough for his large fingers to slip in.
You hated how your body was reacting to this, feeling heat build up inside you. When he stopped paying attention to your cunt and went to leave more marks on your upper body-- preferably where it was harder to hide-- your body instinctively moved to hump his leg, wanting to feel that heat burn hotter. Were you really going to give up just like this?
"I.. I don't want this..!" You protested, not sure if you were trying to convince yourself or to tell him off.

With the sound of the bell the hang just above the entrance, you would be greeted by the smell of a freshly brewed cup of coffee mixed with a sweet aroma from the many pastries that you would see before you.
Working at the cafe was no easy feat with the many people coming in and out in random times but as a university student that still had to pay for their tuition and dormitory whilst still having extra money left over for food, you couldn't complain. Well, not that you would complain. You found joy in being a barista.
"(Y/N), you're zoning out. Come on, we still have customers to serve to." Barbara taps your shoulder, gaining your attention. "Ah, sorry," you muttered, turning to your station. "Hehe, there's no need to apologies. I assume that you have an exam coming up?" she asks, eyeing you from the corner of her eyes as a customer waltz inside. You hummed and nod slightly. "It's a good thing that I met Master Diluc. Otherwise, I don't think I would be cut out to major in business."
After getting the order from the random customer, she returns to have a chat with you. "Stop with the 'Master Diluc'." She laughs. "It's a bit old-fashioned, don't you think?" And indeed it was, but he comes from a wealthy family so you saw it best to address him formally. "And don't be so hard on yourself and say negative things about your own capabilities! You entered this university by your own smarts! Diluc is smart as well, yes, but he got in due to connections along with his brother. That says something a lot about you."
Barbara was always good at cheering people up and supporting them. One can tell that she was quite popular in high school. She wasn't in the same major as you so you ended up being friends through working in the same cafe. She majored in music-- not that it should surprise anyone. With one look at her, you could definitely tell without even knowing her personally. You saw it best that she would become an idol and her personality will help her with that.
You smile at the blonde. "Thanks." She waves her hand in front of her in small motions in dismissal. "I'm just stating facts." You both returned your focus on your job afterwards, listening in on the chatter of others instead. Most were students so they mainly talked about their studies.
The bell rang once again, getting your attention. Coming in, was a usual customer that you learned comes around at 2 in the afternoon; during your shifts. Yes, there were other customers that you would recognize-- making them usual customers as well but this one was quite distinctive, you'd say. He had dark hair that was always braided on both sides of his head that had a natural teal at the tips of it. He would always come alone, only carrying his backpack- that had his laptop- and a notebook.
You don't know who he was but you figured that what made you so intrigued with him was his fluorescent green eyes that would seemingly glow even in the day. It was truly unique.
You look at Barbara who was busy making another customer's order and decided that you would be the one taking his order. Coming up to the counter, you put on a smile as usual. "Hello, what can I get you?" you repeat the words that you grew to familiarize yourself with as if you were a robot being programmed to say it to people you take orders from. In fact, you already know what he will get but it was something you had to say every time.
"Hi, can I get a venti-sized Matcha Green Tea Frappuccino and two double-chocolate chunk brownie?" he says, not needing to look at the menu. You nod, punching in the code of the ordered drink and snacks. "Please wait at the side." You see him walk away from the counter and take his phone out, seemingly texting somebody.
You made the drink in no time and brought it over to the pick-up counter along with his brownies. "Thank you," he said and take his order, then walking to a table and place his things. He sat down and took out his laptop and started jotting things down in his notebook, looking up at the screen from time to time.
You noticed that he brings in new notebooks every week. A waste of paper, you thought. You wonder what major he was in to go through so many notebooks each week but it was rather hard. You guessed business, but you have never seen him around the area so that flopped. He looked like a porcelain doll with his small, pale face and skinny body- that looked as if it would be easy to break- that you guessed he was probably majoring in one of the arts-- visual arts, drama, music. Something that someone with his size could take. You asked Barbara if he was majoring in music but she answered that she has never seen him around.
Well, no matter. The thought alone doesn't bother you as it doesn't hold any importance.
-
The following week, you didn't go to work and so did Barbara. Well, it wasn't as if you chose not to go to work, rather, it was because the cafe was getting renovated so it had to temporarily close.
Since you had no work to go to, you focused all your energy in your studies. When you aren't studying, you enjoy what little time you had to relax before suddenly getting the urge to study even more so that you don't fail-- sometimes even studying with Diluc outside in the campus grounds.
During those times, you looked out for the guy who usually came to the cafe in the afternoon but to no avail. At this point, you are wondering if he truly goes to the university. That was soon to be answered, however, when you went shopping for more school supplies. The area was located closer to the entrance of the campus so it was quite far away since your department was across the place. The department that was closest to the stores was the arts. It was always lively there with the students showing off their talent and skills. You loved going near there because it looked fun.
After purchasing the needed supplies, you walked back whilst looking at the students and whatever they were up to. Once near the exit that would say that you were no longer in the arts, you hear the strumming of a guitar not too far to your left. It was a rather familiar music but you didn't know what the song was or where you heard it.
You would have just acknowledged that it as a good piece of music and walk away if it wasn't for the fact that when the music stopped, a sigh was heard and the person shifted, allowing you to see their side profile that hid behind a small tree.
Your eyes widened at the sight of the person that dawned familiarity. You finally found him! With that said, your question as to what he was majoring was answered. Music. Looking at him, you see that he looked somewhat annoyed, looking at a piece of paper beside him, brows furrowing. All those papers that you have seen him scribble onto and later crumble it because it dissatisfied him were most likely his other works.
He was so focused on fixing the notes in his paper that he has not felt you watching him. His state made you pity the male. It was most likely a stressful thing to make music with the right notes that satisfied oneself. He was most likely here because the cafe was closed.
An idea came to but you don't know if you should go through with it, not wanting to appear like a creep to him by making a homemade Matcha Green Tea Frappuccino and giving it to him. That thought was quickly changed and decided that you will do just that tomorrow when you looked at him a bit longer.
-
You waited until it was 2 in the afternoon to make him his frappuccino and bring it over. You were glad to see him at the same spot at the same time. Otherwise, you wouldn't know what to do if he didn't show up. Now thinking about it, you always see him at 2 in the afternoon and wondered if he knew of his routine.
Walking closer, you see that he had more papers and notebooks than what he usually brings to the cafe. "Um, excuse me.." At that, you felt awkward that you walked up to a stranger and began a conversation just to give him a drink.
He looks up, his eyes seeming to glow brighter when they landed on you. "Oh, aren't you the one working at that cafe?" he asks, not needing to specify which cafe since he remembers you. You hummed and nodded. "Aren't you majoring in business? What brings you here?" Your breathing hitched when you saw him smile that you almost forgot the reason as to why you were there. It was adorable.
"Huh? How did you know I majored in business?" you ask. "When you aren't working, I see you studying with Master Diluc.. And I heard your conversation with Barbara from time to time," he answers. "Eh? You know Diluc and Barbara?" Your eyes widened in surprise.
"Well, I know Master Diluc because my brother has a business relationship with his father. As for Barbara, I see her exit class every time I go in," he says. Ah, so that's why Barbara doesn't know him. They have different times, you thought. "Anyway, care to answer my question?" His smile was still on his face when he asked. He seemed more relaxed than when he was working in his music. "Oh, right, I saw you yesterday and thought that you might need something sweet." You offered him the frappuccino as well as some homebaked brownies. "Ah! Thank you." His closed smile soon reveals his teeth, closing his eyes that crinkled at the corner. He accepts the drink and snacks. "Hey, why don't you sit down? It is a long walk from where you came from, yes? And it would be rude to just shoo you so soon." He pats the empty space beside him. "Ah.. Okay.." You hesitantly agreed, not wanting to make him sad at your early leave.
When you sat down, you suddenly felt more aware and felt the awkward tension-- well, you only felt the awkwardness in the air. He seemed fine, sipping the drink freely. Then, "Wah! This is good," he compliments. "I can tell when you make my drink and when your friend makes them." He leans close, putting a hand near his mouth as if to whisper to you. "Don't tell your friend, but I really like it when you make my drinks." He winks. You chuckled, feeling warm inside. "So, what is your name?" he asks, leaning away to give you space. "(Y/N). What about you?" "Venti!"
You smiled. "So, Venti, do you only play the guitar?" you ask, eyeing the wooden instrument on his lap. He shook his head. "I play instruments from all families-- the strings, woodwind, brass, percussion, keyboard, and guitar," he says. "However, I don't play the bigger instruments that require to be picked up because they are too heavy. I also don't really like drums. I find them too loud." You were amazed to know that he could play so many instruments. You have only tried a hand at the piano that you later gave up in high school.
"Which instrument do you like the most?" you asked, seeing as he already said which instrument he doesn't like playing. "Oh, that's easy! The lyre!" His eyes sparkled at the thought of the instrument. "There aren't many occasions where I can play the instrument so I play other instruments like the guitar."
It could be because your major was not appealing and boring that you found yourself interested in the topic at hand and started asking more questions. "Did you get a teacher to help you play the instruments?" He shook his head. "I have lots of books at home to learn from so I taught myself." If you weren't already surprised at his talent, you would be now. "All those instruments?" you ask. He nods proudly.
"Oh! Since you are here, care to listen to a song I've made?" he asks, eager to show you what he could do. You nod excitedly. He laughs and adjusted himself to be more comfortable when playing the guitar.
The song wasn't finished but it was enough to have you breathless. "I don't know how many times I had to rewrite the same notes but I hope this one sounded better?" he asks, turning to you when he stopped playing. You nod. "It sounded amazing!" The compliment made him bashful, scratching the back of his head as he chuckles. "I'm glad you think so! I hope I can finish this soon." He turns his head to look at the paper before returning his focus on you. "Will you listen to it when I finished?" You did not hesitate and nodded.
It wasn't too long since you two started chatting but it felt as if you guys had been friends for a long time. When the cafe opened the following week, you greeted each other with a smile with you already punching in his order that you have memorised by heart.
"Here is your Matcha Green Tea Frappuccino."

You sat on the cool, green grass, watching blankly at the birds that flocks by every now and then before sighing, leaning back against the big ol' tree that was about Mondstadt's symbol at this point. It was an awfully slow day with not much excitement going since the traveller from who knows where fixed the whole Stormterror chaos. But honestly, you were quite enjoying the peace that has been restored in the City of Freedom that allowed you to slack off, closing your eyes and heaving a soft sigh.
Unknowingly, a cheeky bard crept up to your person, silent as a mouse. You wouldn't know how he would do it when the squirrels' feet are pitter-pattering the grass beside you and up to the tree.
With a hand reaching to your shoulders, too cold for a day such as this and too pale for a normal human being, your insides leapt out of you and made you stupefied for a brief moment. "Ehe, I didn't know you get scares so easily, (Y/N)~" You turned your head, eyes wide from the fright and a mix of disbelief at the number one bard of Mondstadt. "I was going to spook you with a 'boo' but it seems that you are quite sensitive." He giggles and you look down to his feet and see that he was using his Anemo to move closer to you undetected.
"Don't do that ever again! I thought you were a hilichurl," you breathed, calming your racing heart. He sits beside you, crossing his legs. "Sorry, sorry, I promise I will not do it.. For a while," he adds and you glared at the male. His hands shot up in defence, giving you a close-eyed, mischievous smile. "Anyway, what are you up to?" he asks, moving onto another topic.
"What does it look like?" you ask with a bored expression. His eyes look to the side at the vast green around. "Uh, playing hide and seek?" he purposely plays the dumb card. You were not the least bit amused. "Do you see anyone else around?" you questioned. "I was just resting. There's really not much to do other than looking at the animals at play." You closed your eyes and leaned unguardedly against the tree. You were sure that no one else will pop on by and if there was, you were sure that Venti would be the first to spot. He had a faster reaction time than yours after all.
Venti starts to hum a tune that was most likely made up on the spot since he didn't bring his lyre. It was good just like the rest of his songs and always had that drowsy effect on you. It helped since you just wanted to sleep if there was nothing else to do.
When Venti notices you were about to drift off, he completely stops and turns to you with a cheeky grin and tapping your shoulders repeatedly. "Hey, hey, (Y/N), you want to play hide and seek tag?" he asks. You were shaken up from what could have been your sleep and stare at him with a raised brow while looking annoyed. "Seriously, Venti? Can't we play once I've slept?" "Nope! You will just sleep until the sun has set, leaving me bored."
"You can always sleep during the night so get up and let's play!" He tugs on your sleeves. You groaned. "Venti, take a look around you-- there is literally no place to hide except those hilichurl camps." "So we'll use them as hiding locations too!" He grins.
You stared at him in disbelief, but upon seeing his bright smile, you could do nothing except sigh and accept. "Alright." "Yay! Okay, okay, I want to hide first!" he exclaims, getting up. "You better not peak~" You roll your eyes but did as told, covering your eyes and hearing him flee. You counted up to thirty-- enough time for an Anemo vision wielder such as himself to find a decent hiding spot.
"Alright, ready or not, here I come," you say loud enough and hope it reaches the male. You started looking around the tree but later started looking elsewhere when he wasn't hiding there. It was a good thing that the hilichurls from the camps were dealt with so you and Venti could play without getting into harm's way.
When you went to one of them, your eyes and ears quickly moved their attention to a green hat that rested behind a rock, making sounds of laughter. Well, it wasn't the hat that was laughing but rather, the person wearing the hat. You tried desperately hard not to break into a peal of laughter as you watch him crouch behind the rock.
Slowly, you crept up to his hiding spot, the soft rustling of grass under your feet barely audible, the sound of animals helping it fade from the male's ears. "Boo!" You put a hand on his shoulders, looking down at the bard. "Gah!" He turns his head to look over his shoulder. He felt his own heart race, not knowing you were approaching. "You scared me!" "You deserve it for scaring me earlier." You crossed your arms, grinning at your victorious approach.
"You're a terrible hider, Venti. You forgot to take your hat off," you said, pointing to your own head to point his own. "Ah, I totally forgot." He laughs, taking his hat off and looking at it with a smile. "It also didn't help that you were giggling." He sticks his tongue out and scratches the back of his head. "Ehe."
"Anyway, I guess it's my turn now?" you say, your words sounding more like a question than a statement. He nods his head. "Mm. You better not give away your location~" he says, turning around and putting his hands on his eyes; counting down. You quickly made a dash away from him, heading towards the big tree. You looked around for a good hiding spot, not wanting it to be obvious such as a hilichurl camp; that would be the first place he would definitely look into.
A sudden idea had struck you and you stared at the tree, eyeing its sturdy branches. "This place would be a good spot." With that, you climb the tree, aiming to go for the highest branch. Upon the highest branch, you could peek through the leaves at the sun and at your surroundings below. Surely, this was the best spot to look out for Venti.
You spot him leave the camp that he hid, now on a mission to find and touch you. You concealed a laugh, putting your hand on your mouth although it shouldn't matter since you doubt he could hear you from where you were.
Full of confidence, you propped yourself to lean against the tree, legs dangling off on each side of the branch. This would take a while, you thought to yourself and close your eyes, full of confidence. Closing your eyes was the biggest mistake because the next time you opened them, the sky was a mix of red and orange. "Hah? Did I fall asleep?" you half-asked yourself, moving your legs so that they were both dangling off on the same side as you rub the heavy feeling from your eyes.
You were still at the same spot but Venti was nowhere to be seen. You looked around at the nearby camps but to only see that there wasn't even the slightest movement to be seen. Were you left alone? Did he get bored and leave you there? No, that does not sound like Venti at all.. Well, maybe-- if he was playing a prank.
Suddenly, sounds of rustling leaves from above you were heard and then, "Yes, you did." Venti pops his head close to yours, upsidedown as he grins at you. "Ah!" Startled at the sudden closeness and scare, you fell backwards-- falling off of the branch.
"(Y/N)!" Venti extends a hand and in doing so, you stopped falling midway to the ground. He used his Anemo and slowly guided you back up to where you originally sat. You stare off with widened eyes, too slow to comprehend what just had happened. "H, hey, are you okay?" Venti asks, putting a hand on your shoulder.
Apparently, that was all it took to shake you to function as before. You lightly hit his chest. "Do you plan on killing me with a heart attack?" you questioned, eyes not reflecting amusement. He awkwardly chuckles. "Sorry, I didn't think I'd scare you."
You sighed. Seeing his face, you couldn't stay mad at him for too long. "I thought you left," you confessed, changing topics. "Eh? And never get the chance to see your adorable face sleeping? No way!" He flies to sit beside you on the branch, completely forgetting what he just did. "You watched me sleep for how long?" you questioned, raising a brow. "The moment I found you! It didn't take long since you fell off the branch when you were sleeping," he says. "It was a good thing that I saw and caught you in time."
"I fell off?" you repeat to which he nods. "That's when I found out that you were sleeping." You sigh. "Thank you," you said, making the male all smiles at the words of gratitude. "Hehe, anything to see you sleep!" He smiles, closing his eyes as he does so.
"Anyway, I'm getting hungry so I'll go home," you said. "What do you want to eat?" "I can join you?" he asks, eyes reflecting the sky when it turns dark-- full of stars. "Well, it's the least I could do for being saved twice from my death," you point out in a light tone. "Yay!" he cheers and guided you and himself down the tree. "I could really go for some dandelion--" "No." That one word made him pout, staring at you with puppy-like eyes. "You will have homecooked food. Not wine," you said. He sighs defeatedly. "Alright.."

"Just - hic - one more, Master Diluc!" Filled with the nightlife atmosphere in Angel's Share, Venti decided to join as well for the sake of sharing the same joy every Mondstadtian holds.
"You do know that these aren't free.." Diluc grumbles, a look of irritation visible on his face. "And don't you think you've had enough? You've had 33 glasses now."
"Ah, I can never get enough of Master Diluc's amazing brew!" the small bard exclaims. Diluc's face remained unchanged by the complement and went to make another glass for him. "You better pay for these."
"Haha, oh, Master Diluc, aren't you the jokester." Venti giggles. "I'm not joking," Diluc plainly said. "Haha, oh well.. Anyway.." Sounds of chatter drown out the taller male's warning that night by a loud bard who was starting to become tipsier with each drink.
After a couple more drinks- actually, it totalled to 50- Venti was now showing signs of passing out with his head on the counter, aside from occasional giggles and hiccups. Diluc grumbles in complete disbelief. Now that the bard was drunk, there was no way he would listen to his words.
An irritated sigh left the tavern owner's lips, seeing as he could do nothing about it. "I'll make sure you pay for it tomorrow so just go home," Diluc said to the bard who luckily listened, walking drunkenly out the tavern. "Thanks, Master Diluc!"
The cold air of the night brushed past the skin of the male, giggling as it tickles him. Oh how much he loves the wind so much.
Tonight, Venti did not go home- if he even has one- and instead, walk straight out of the city's gate; heading towards Starsnatch Cliff where he knew someone was sitting there all in her lonesomeness.
"(Y/N)!" the bard cheery voice made its way to your ears, making you turn to look at him. He waves and drunkenly giggles. "Venti, what are you doing here?"
"Hehe, I thought that my goddess wouldn't be asleep at this time and was here~" he answers, sitting down beside you. One sniff of him and your face wrinkled as if you were smelling a garbage site. "Ew, you went to the tavern again!?"
"Ehe." He shrugs, eyes closing into crescents as he smiled. You shook your head and brought your knees close to your chest, hugging it. You did not want to further push about the boring topic as it was quite often he would try to get wine from Diluc so silence was the only thing you could do.
You look at the stars in awe, a small smile tugging the corner of your lips. "It's quite nice today-- even the weather," you stated randomly. Venti leans back, using his arms as support. He took a glance at your soft figure before averting it to the sky you were seeing. "Even if it was cold, I would control the wind to make it warm for you," he points out, a smile of his own visible on his face.
In the midst of another silence, Venti's drunken state had his eyes started to wander on you, eyes tracing your face down to every detail. Your eyes that were half-lidded, your nose that was ever so his favourite feature, your lips-- oh let us not get into detail as to how much he loves those lips. Soon, his eyes wandered down to your neck and the strands of hair resting on it to tease him.
It might just be him being drunk and deluded or the atmosphere, but something in him wanted to do more than just looking at you.
With that being said, his hands slowly encircled your waist and drew you closer to him so that he could rest his chin on your shoulders. To you, it was just him wanting to hold you; nothing too suspicious and you continued to dismiss him.
However, that innocent thought was no longer when you felt his hands rub your sides in a slow and lustful manner. "V, Venti..!" you stutter, eyes widening as you look at him from the corner of your eyes.
He hums, eyes closed. "What is it, (Y/N)?" his voice still holding the same cheeky persona as his smile just grew wider. "U, um..!!" Your words died out on your tongue, the sudden rise of heat too overwhelming for you.
His lips made their way to your earlobe. "What's wrong, (Y/N)? Are you unwell?" he asks, a smirk replacing his playful smile. You bit your bottom lip and closed your eyes, unsure of what to do as you felt something in your stomach. It was like a fluttering feeling when you see your crush, but quite different.
"Do you.. Want me to help you, (Y/N)?" he breathlessly asks and went to nibble the sensitive part of your ears. A whimper that escaped your throat failed you which just urge the male further. His lips then slowly made their way to your neck and he was suddenly washed with the intoxication of your smell.
Not waiting for a reaction, he starts off by licking your neck and soon, sucking it hard enough to leave a mark. Once again, another whimper left you. You felt embarrassed by the sounds you had made, but the growing heat in the atmosphere was too much for you to fight.
One of his hands made its way down your body, rubbing your thighs as the other massages one of your breasts. Your chests start to expand wider with each breath you take.
Venti's hands soon returned to your chest and began to unbutton your shirt ever so skillfully. Once it was fully undone to the last button, he moves in front of you, pushing you down the grass and hovering on top of you.
His eyes were filled with lust and craved for you and your body. Hungrily, he smashes his lips onto yours and had a full heated session. He licked the bottom of your lips and you obliged, opening your mouth to allow his tongue to adventure inside, winning dominance.
He went back and suck the other side of your neck, also leaving a mark there as his hands unclip your bra, kneading your breast between his fingers.
At that point, heat, too, filled your body and made your mind hazy, letting out a moan. Soon, his lips trailed downwards and took the other breast in his mouth. He continued to do so and switched to give the same attention to the other.
His hand went lower, pulling your skirt down to your thighs. Teasingly, he rubs his fingers on your clothed cunt and you moaned yet again. "Hehe, you are so naughty, (Y/N)~ Already this wet for me?" he says, continuing to run through the article.
Soon, he had enough of the teasing and pulled down your last piece of clothing, leaving you fully exposed to the cool air of the night while he was still fully clothed.
"Tell me, (Y/N), what do you want me to do~?" he asks, pressing his cold fingers on your cunt, making you whimper. When you didn't say anything, he leaned closer to your ears and whispered, "If you don't tell me.." He moves his fingers teasingly. "I could just leave it here~"
"N, no..!" You shot your eyes wide open, revealing your desperation and lust. "Hm~? Then tell me, what is it that you want me to do?" He smiles and his eyes were overshadowed with a dark playfulness.
"P, please.. I, I want your fingers.. In me.." you say, a bit embarrassed at the dirty words that left your tongue. Venti chuckles, but answered to your wish, plunging one finger inside which made you moan. Urged on by the sound, he entered a second one. "Look at you~ So greedy for my touch."
You weren't listening to his words as he starts pumping his fingers, slow at first to make you just whimper. "What do you want me to do now, (Y/N)?" he asks once again. "Is this too slow for you?"
"Please.. G, go faster..!" Again, listened to your wish and started to pump faster, adding two more fingers in the mix. He returns to attack your breast and bit your nipples and his free hand went to massage the other.
The stimulation was too much for you, being touched everywhere soon made a knot inside of you that was waiting to be snapped at any moment. "V, Venti..!" That was all he needed to hear for him to stop, moving away from you.
You look at him, confused and upset, but that was soon answered as he stood up and pulled both his pants and undergarments down. "(Y/N), why don't you be a good girl and repent?" he beckons you to go on your knees.
You listened, getting on your knees and bringing your face closer to his cock that was dripping with precum. "Well? Don't tell me you don't wish to repent." You gulped and slowly bring your lips to the tip of his dick, licking the precum off of it.
You felt him shudder from above which urged you on. You opened your mouth and brought half of it inside your mouth, earning a groan from the male.
You then started to suck on his cock and another moan erupted from his vocal cords, putting a gentle hand on your head. You only sucked halfway of it and pumped the rest, not wanting to choke.
When it has gotten to a point that was much to his pleasure, he grabbed a fistful of your hair and pushed your head; pushing his cock deeper into your mouth. You moaned on his cock, feeling it touch the back of your mouth and made you gag.
"Don't stop now, (Y/N). After all, you want to be forgiven right?" He tugs on your hair and you continued. Venti became a moaning mess, guiding your head as he does so. And soon, you felt his cock twitch inside you. You suck him faster, wanting to help him in his release.
Followed by a long moan, he fills your mouth with his juice, keeping your head locked on his dick so that you don't waste a single drop.
Once you gulped all of them down, he pulls away. "Aren't you a good girl~?" he coos. "You deserve a reward so why don't you get on your hands and knees for me, hm?"
You listened, wanting to get your own release as well. He got behind you and you felt excitement wash through you and the knot that was still there.
He put his hands on your breasts, giving it a little squeeze. "Are you sure about this, (Y/N)?" he whispers in your ear. "You can always tell me to stop, okay?" You nod.
With that, he moved his wet cock inside you. You whimpered at the overwhelming foreign heat that entered you. Venti was patient with you and waited for you to adjust to the feeling.
"P, please move.." you say breathlessly after a while. Venti listened and started to enter and leave your hole, building up his stimulation once more.
Moans, pants, and lust filled that night and at each thrust, he went faster and faster as you grip onto the grass, feeling your legs numbing. "Harder, Venti..!" you cried out, the knot close to breaking.
His grip on your waist was for sure going to leave marks on your skin, but that didn't matter to your right now.
He pulls out completely but quickly slams it back inside you. Your head jerks up and moaned loudly. The sight of the was stars blurring as you were being pounded into and drool went down the corner of your mouth.
Venti's thrust became sloppier and sloppier by the second. He buried his face on your shoulders and bit it hard enough that it drew blood, but you were too focused on the pleasure that you hadn't noticed.
"V, Venti, I--" At that moment, the knot snapped and you came on his dick. Venti thrusts a couple more times before he, too, came inside you, groaning as his second wave was finally released.
He fell on top of you, both your legs too weak to carry the weight of your bodies. He didn't take himself out just yet and listen to the two of you pant.
"Let's go home, hm?" he suggests between heavy breathing. You nod and watch as he pulls out, letting out a whimper at the sudden emptiness inside you.
He dresses himself up first and later helped you since you were unable to do it and carried you home. "I love you, (Y/N)." He kisses the side of your head, watching you slowly fall asleep.

How many years has it been since he last had someone to hold? That was an answer he no longer knows as it has been many moons since you left as he sits on the hand of the statue of the Anemo Archon, staring at the buildings below slowly flickering their lights out.
At the dead of night, his mind wanders to the time you two were together-- when you were still alive and in his arms. Both of you were happy, but there was a feeling of already missing you that carries on each day in him. Now, that feeling changed from being afraid to loneliness. He was afraid of the day you'll pass, but now is feeling lonely now that that day has truly come to past.
He misses the way you call him with a smile and your embrace, shivering at the feeling of the cold and lonely wind. O how he wishes he gave you immortality. He had brought that topic up over and over again, but you were too stubborn and rejected. "I am no god. I don't have a right to immortality." You once said, not a hint of irritation at the many times he suggested.
You did have the right to immortality as a vision user, but you didn't feel the same way as him since you were just a mortal. He wished he was selfish then and made you immortal, even if it did make you upset.
Well, not like immortality would work in your case anyway.
Killed in battle, that's what happened, and since gods could also be killed, there was no way you would've been alive anyway. Fate will thread its needle and strings to its finishing stitch, even if does take time. That, he knew after years of living.
"(Y/N), stay with me! I, I'll make you immortal and maybe that'll--" You stopped him, shaking your head. Smiling weakly, you brought your cold hands onto his cheeks, wiping the never-ending tears that trickled down. "That won't heal me.." you croaked.
"I am no god.. I have no right.. To immortality.." Those were your last words before you finally allowed your heavy eyelids to drop. Your smile was still on your face, showing how much you are at peace.
Body lumped beside the big tree, your spirit ascended to Celestia while he hugged your lifeless corpse as if it was his last hope. It was, but that last hope left him the same way as the friends he made before.
"Please.. Don't leave me."

You and the number one bard of Mondstadt have been at a sort of friendly fight with each other, making it impossible to let your guard down. If that were to happen, then the other would definitely do something. And if one were to attempt, then the other surely would do the same at a later time.
Making your way up to the highest point of Starsnatch cliff, you see Venti sitting on the grass, playing his lyre as the wind imitates his playing and humming. He looked so at peace and off guard that you took this as a chance to get back at him for his previous attempt of tickling you. Snickering, you silent made your approach from behind, and once at arms reach, you jumped on him and bit his shoulder hard, earning a yelp of surprise and pain.
"(Y-Y/N)!?" Venti holds on to his shoulder and stares at you with widened eyes. You pulled away and giggled. "Hehe, one point for me," you say, sticking out your tongue as you did the peace sign. It took the bard a while to process and realize what you meant before shooting back, "I'm going to get you next time, so don't you dare put your guard down."
You chuckled and rolled your eyes. "I'm not one to easily put my guard down like you, Venti," you say and made your sitting more comfortable beside him. He took one more glance and started playing his lyre again while humming a tune of old.
The melody was soothing and it made you drowsy. It didn't help that the wind was slowly brushing your eyelids to make it heavy, so when you gave up on trying to stay awake, you lay your head on the grass, using an arm as a pillow. It was truly a peaceful afternoon. Or so you thought.
Once the playing had stopped, you opened an eye to stare at the bard who was staring back at you. Your guard was down from the playing to know of what's to come next. Then, with a cheeky smile and giggle from him, he attacked you on the same spot you had bitten him on his shoulder. However, instead of a yelp, a moan came out of your mouth and the two of you stopped breathing for a while.
You shot up from the grass and the two of you just sat there in pure horror and awkwardness. Then, "I- it's not fair!" Venti stammers, avoiding your face entirely.
It surely was an awkward day for both of you.

You, on all counts, are very sensitive to the words spoken by others of you. You can't help it but worry about your impression of others, but this did not mean that you faked your identity in front of others. You had wonderful friends as well whom you are sure are the truest of all.
"Hey, (Y/N), wanna go on a mission with me?" Mondstadt's most famous Outrider, Amber, jogged up to you with excitement reflecting off of their eyes. "Ah, well, I don't have anything to do.. Alright, I'll join you," you said which made the female really happy. "Good. I was about to persuade you to some food if you didn't," she laughs. "Let's make this quick since an Outrider still has other things to do."
"But you'll still give me remuneration, right?" you ask, half-joking. "Haha, of course! I'll treat you when I have time, and that's a promise!" You and the Outrider had a little laugh and left the city to clear a couple of hilichurl camps around the premises. She thanked you afterwards and repeated her promise before waving you off as she goes and attends to her other tasks. Now that you were free, you decided to go and meet a special someone and ask if they'd like to join you for a meal since you don't like eating alone-- and you know for sure where they were loitering around at the moment: the tavern.
"Please, Master Diluc? Just one~ I'll play a song for your tavern." You opened the door to Angel's Share to see the person you had been looking for trying to negotiate with the tavern's owner. The male behind the counter notices your entrance and brings his attention to you, ignoring the bard. "(Y/N), what can I do for you?" he asks, completely dismissing the shorter male beside him. "Ah, nothing. I'm loitering around, really," you say, sitting down beside the never-stopping-pleading male.
"Well, since you're here, could I ask you a favour and help me get this guy here to leave?" Diluc asks, referring to no one else but the one who is sitting beside you. "He's being quite the nuisance."
"Eh? I promise I'll leave if you just accept the exchange!" Venti cries. "I am the most famous bard of Mondstadt, I will surely attract more customers for you!" Diluc shooks his head and sighs, turning to look at you once more. "Please, help me out?"
You cracked a smile. "Of course, Master Diluc! Now, let's go Venti." You got out of your seat and pull him along from the collar on his back, all the while hearing Venti's cries for his wine. "Aw, (Y/N), you could have helped me out back there," Venti pouts when the two of you were a good foot away from the sight of the tavern. "You should have your own money. Honestly, how are you surviving without mora exactly?" you questioned, earning yourself a mischievous giggle from him.
Sighing, you dismiss the topic altogether. "Alright, why don't I treat you to something else other than wine? It's always wine this, wine that anyway," you say. "Mm, as long as it's with you!" He smiles and the two of you went to Good Hunter for a small meal. Since you did just come back from a mission, you order quite a lot, but not too much to make you look like a glutton. "It's a shame they don't sell wine here." The bard pouts. You laugh at your friend and shaking your head-- it was always wine with him.
"Maybe you should do something else other than singing and make money out of it?" you suggested, earning yourself an 'are-you-kidding-me' kind of look from the male. "Anyway~" he changes subjects. "What is the deal with you stuffing your face up so much?" He laughs at your adorable face that was buried with food and rests his cheeks on one of his fists.
"But you'll still like me when I'm fat, right?" you ask, stuffing yet another delicacies into your mouth. The bard giggles at the cute question and decided to play a little joke on you to see a reaction. "Hm, I don't know.." he starts, grabbing your full attention. "I mean, I guess I might still love you since you already kind of are.. " Unbeknownst to him, you were actually hurt by the 'joking' words and made you self-aware, but you weren't going to show it to him. Although you know it was a joke, you don't know if he'd actually still love you when you're 'ugly'. Right now, it might just be empty words, but who knows if his views will remain the same when that time actually comes?
You have noted that every time you go shopping for clothes, the size seems to be getting bigger, but you didn't really think much about it then. You sat in silence, pushing away the food as Venti goes on chatting about. He didn't even notice how you haven't touched your food since the comment when the two of you left Good Hunter or your quietness throughout the day. It was saddening, but didn't say a word about it.
"Um, I think I should be going home now, Venti," you say weakly, eyes not once looking up from the ground you were so familiar with. "Hm? Oh, okay, good night then!" Venti says and kisses your cheek before you walked the opposite direction of your house.
You walked all the way to your room, not turning on a single light and lied down on the bed, not changing your clothes as you crept underneath your blanket and curled into a ball, allowing depressing thoughts into your head. Maybe you should change your style? If you were wearing larger clothes that hides your body, that might make him think you are gaining weight, or so you think to yourself. Then, you'll just have to change and make him see the best sides of you.
And so, the next day when you went out, you wore clothing you never thought you would- let alone other's. You wanted to prove that you haven't gained weight by exposing much more skin, but still keep yourself comfortable. People gawked when you pass them out on the streets, a bit disturbed by your sudden change of clothing. It wasn't wrong to do so and they understand that people will change their style, but to the extent that you were on?
"My, look who we have here," a cool and smooth voice of a man comes and greets you. You look to your right and see none other than the Cavalry Captain of Mondstadt with his usual smirk on his face. He stares down at your smaller stature and snickers. "A sudden change of style, I see."
"Does it look bad?" you question. "Well, I wouldn't say it looks bad. Let's just say it's quite new to me," he says and shrugs. "Say, what is the reason for the sudden change anyway? Suddenly got bored of the former?"
You honestly knew that someone will ask you about it, but didn't want them to know. It was quite embarrassing. "Yeah, I guess," you said, not meeting the captain's eye. You had a habit of not looking directly at the person when you are either trying to hide something or lying and people had caught on to that, which was a huge giveaway that something is up for the all-knowing Kaeya. "Oh? This is interesting," Kaeya says to himself. Hearing him, you look up to meet the gaze of the male who only chuckles and ruffles your hair a bit. "I have to go do some cavalry work. I will see you later, (Y/N)," he says, his back now facing you, a hand raised. He took no more than two steps before looking over his shoulder and smiles at you. "Oh, remember one thing: don't let others' words get you down." You weren't sure what he was getting at, but you couldn't ask him as he was now further from you.
"(Y/N)?" Another voice calls your name and you turned around to see none other than the famous bard of Mondstadt- Venti. "Oh, wow! It really is you. I almost didn't recognize you from your back because how different you look," he says, scratching his head and chuckling awkwardly. "It seems like something is off about you..?"
This was the moment of truth. Will he see it or not? "Does it look bad?" you ask, looking at his eyes for some sort of answer. He inspects you, which made you kind of embarrassed. You want him to never leave you alone, so that is the reason for the clothes. If you could prove that you are worth staying by his side, you are more than willing to change. "Ah! So, you've change your clothes.." he finally says, though it didn't seem like he was happy about it.
"Hehe, I think you should go back wearing your old clothes, (Y/N)," he says, "because now everyone can see how chubby you've become." He laughs, pulling the skin of your cheeks in a playful manner. You, however, didn't feel like going back now. You want Venti to stay by your side forever and make it so that he won't be ashamed of his lover to the point he rather not be caught dead with you. You had to change. You have to lose weight.
And so, that day was the last day anyone has seen you around. At first, no one was concerned and thought you had other things to do that was taking up your time, but when two weeks went and no one has seen you around, they start to worry. The guards at the gate had said that they haven't seen you left- just in case you went on a mission without their knowledge. Your Knights of Favonius friends were the first to worry. Venti, however, kept on saying how you were probably fine while drinking away at Angel's Share.
"I think you should go check on her," Diluc says behind the counter, cleaning a glass while his back is turned towards the bard. "Eh? Why?" the shorter male questions. "Aren't you her lover? If so, you should check on her since she is obviously locking herself in her house." Venti was about to say something back, but decide to choke it down with a drink. Deep down, he was worrying as to why you aren't stepping outside. He had gotten lonely.
He got off the stool and left the tavern. Diluc turns around and heaved a sigh of irritation, forgetting to remind the bard, again, to pay for his drink.
Venti was at the foot of your door. He sees that your light were off, even through the curtains, before knocking lightly on the wooden door. "(Y/N)?" he calls out, but was answered to silence. He did not wait to knock a second time and got out a spare key that was entrusted to him by you. When he opened the door, he was greeted with the coolness of the air and silence. The furniture was clean and in place, yet it lacked the warmth from its owner. He walked to your room, but was greeted by an unused bed. However, it was a mess-- meaning to say that you are indeed home.
Eventually- to his horror and ache- he found you sitting down beside the toilet, back against the wall and eyes closed. "(Y/N)!" he shouts your name and quickly walked to your side, kneeling to see your pale face. He put his ear close to your face and was relieved that you were breathing, worried you might not have been when seeing as your bones were seeming as though it were about to pop out.
He carries you to your room and lie your body on the bed and stayed by your side until you woke up to get answers from you. How come you were in this state, he questioned himself. He was worried but thought nothing of that feeling in the pit of his stomach telling him to go check on you. He thought you were fine, but to his guilt, you weren't.
When your eyelids fluttered open, his heart never felt any lighter as it was now. "(Y/N)!" The tears that had slowly crept, was finally trailing down his cheeks. "Venti..?" The call of his name made it so irresistible to hug you, so he did. "What happened to you?" he asks, his voice cracking.
Staring at his face, you felt ashamed. You had locked yourself inside without light, food, or water and constantly vomiting everything out. Knowing this, you push him away and stare down at the mattress.
Venti was hurt upon seeing as you pushed him away, but that doesn't mean he would stop there. "Hey, let's get you something to eat. You look like you're malnourished," he says. You didn't say anything so he took it to go and make food for you in the kitchen before returning to your side once more. "Here, I've made you soup, so open up," he says, moving the spoon close to your lips, urging you on to open up. Soup may not be enough to return you from your pale and frail state, but it was easy for you to gulp it down. He has also chopped some meat into little pieces to help nourish you.
You refused, not looking at him. He sighs and looks at you sadly. "Please, (Y/N)?" The way his voice was tainted with sadness made your heart ache. You ate it obediently, but immediately coughed it out, the food now on the floor opposite of where he was at, sitting down on the bed with you. "(Y/N)!" He puts down the spoon in the bowl and put his free hand on your back. Your body was too weak that your system can't even take in food, which worried the male. "Can you please tell me why you're like this?" he pleads, another wave of tears forming his eyes.
You were hesitant, but you would feel that ache if you see him tear up again. "I.. I want you to stay with me forever," you finally confessed. He was confused- you could see it in his eyes. "Why would I ever leave you?" he asks.
"Of what you said.. Two weeks ago.. I don't want you to be ashamed of me and leave me," you continued, answering his question. He recalls the joke from then and felt guilty and ashamed. "I, I'm sorry for what I said.. I was joking about it, but I guess it hurt you," he says. "What I said then, please don't take it to heart."
"What I said were empty words. Even if you were to become chubbier, I would never leave you for the world nor would I be ashamed of you. I love you for who you are and not what you look like." The words comforted you and you finally look at Venti. His eyes were stained of tears, but he pulled of the smile that was reserved for you only. "Let's finish this, alright?" He hints at the soup. You nodded quietly and tried your best to finish the food.
"Once you're feeling better, let's go eat every food you want to eat, okay?" he says, watching you ear the food obediently. You smiled and nodded at the suggestion. Throughout that day- after finishing the food- he stayed and cuddled with you whilst reassuring how much he loves you.

It is common knowledge that even if a star wishes to move within its own galaxy, it would take light years for it just to do so. But, it didn't apply to when two peculiar stars that had lived long suddenly collided in mere seconds, causing them to be one.
When you have awoken, you found yourself lying down in a midst of grass for miles and a blue sky that you had never seen before with strange creatures flying past it, flapping its wings as it makes strange noises. Where were you? You sat up, suddenly feeling a pain shot through your ears. It was ringing and giving you a headache.
"Nngh..!" You covered an eye with a hand out of reflex of the pain while trying to recall how you ended up where you were and what happened. "Ah, that's right.. My home.." You stop your sentence and snap your head upwards to the unnatural green and blue around you and come to a realization that the place..
Was not your home.
The place you knew and loved for many years was crumbling down at your feet, but the place you had awoken to was the opposite and free from the havoc that had suddenly raised. You felt the flow of time change and that's when you recalled your travel- no, your escape through time and space. You remembered how you then came to a stop by an unknown force and suddenly being pulled by it and fighting against it didn't make a difference in your weakest point.
After a soft sigh, you stood up and looked at your surrounding. With a gentle breeze blowing past, you notice more of the winged things on the ground and not too far from it, a small, four-legged creature that was running around the field. Beside you was a large tree that was helping you adjust to the blinding light from above by stretching its large and long branches outwards. Its leaves rustled when another breeze was blowing past.
You looked at your clothing and see that your once celestial clothing is now basically a rag and without your shoes. Your skin was covered by scratches and blood of the war you faced, but surprisingly, the pain wasn't there-- maybe it's because it was numbing your body that you felt as if the pain were one with you.
Left leg forward then the right.. You repeated it until you could fully well walk with your aching feet without hissing at the pain. Just beyond the horizon, you see walls and windmills within it. You were happy that there was a place not too far from where you awoke. When you arrived in front of the gates, the two knights who were usually on guard had a look of questioning.
And since that moment, Mondstadt came to be your forever home.

"Venti, slow down!" you say, grabbing his arm and reaching for the glass in his hand- which he did not let go of. "I think it would be best to give up, (Y/N)," Diluc says behind the counter, his arms crossed as he stares in disbelief and annoyance at the bard. "You better have money to pay for that."
The boy had chugged his 28th drink for the day and he doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon. "I, I'll pay for his drink," you say defeatedly, knowing that your dear ol' friend don't even have a single mora on him. "I don't care who pays for it as long as it is paid." The fiery-haired male sighs irritatingly and turned around to do his job, leaving the two of you to chat alone.
"Venti, you should really stop now. You'll have a headache in the morning," you said, putting a hand on hi shoulder and watch him gulped down yet another glass before setting it down. "Hehe, this isn't even much," the boy states. "Rest assured, (Y/N), that I will be fine tomorrow so.. Another glass for me, Master Diluc!" He waves his empty glass which earned the taller male to grunt before making another drink for the bard.
You weren't worried about the ombre-haired boy being sick in the morning- what you really were trying to do was to make him stop drinking any more and making you pay for it. You cried internally, feeling the pain of the huge hole in your wallet already by the time you two head out and it turned out just as you feared. Diluc had asked you to leave and to drag the now drunken bard along since it was time to close the tavern, but not before reminding you of the payment.
"One more, please!" the drunk bard says, raising a hand in the air as if he was holding a glass. How many glasses he took, you did not know as you lost count. However, you can say that your dear friend really knows how to hold his drinks. You sighed and fix his arm around your shoulders lock.
In the dead of night- where there is no one but the two of you- the sky above was calling for you, glimmering away so proudly as it does so. You looked at the brightly lit things that dusted the dark sky and felt sudden sadness in your heart, knowing that the stars don't hold your home anymore. In the many years that you were in Teyvat, not once was there a day where you did not think about your home. The colour red dusted your home's sky along with smoke, shouting, cries of agony from both young and old.. You remembered how the place you happily walked upon turned to calamity and feeling the guilt, again, that you couldn't do anything when you had the power. You stood in the centre of the chaos, stupified and unable to think.
"Hehe, hey, (Y/N)-- Woah!" You were drawn back to your new reality when Venti leaned all of his weight onto your smaller body when he was trying to balance himself and causing both of you to fall over. You hissed at the pain of your skin scraping the ground, but the drunk male was laughing on the other hand- because he landed on you. "Venti..!" You looked at the giggling male. "Shh, (Y/N)." He boops your nose and giggling even more. You sighed. Now you were going to have a hard time removing him from your body.
Your house was not too far away and decided it would be best to let him sleep on the couch, rather than leave him unattended on his own. Your house was small, yet comfortable and cosy. When you got inside, you went for the couch and flopped his body on it, repositioning his body so that he sits upright. "I'll get you a glass of water, okay? I'll be right back," you said, knowing that he won't listen to you in his state. You returned just as fast as your left, but see that he was passed out.
"Venti, wake up. Please, drink some water before going to sleep!" You shook him awake and get him to drink before letting him go to sleep. You then went and look for an extra blanket and a pillow for him in your room and return to the dimly lit living room. Slowly, you lifted his head and place the pillow underneath and lay his head back down and covered his body with the blanket.
You look at the sleeping male and feel your heart race the more you stared. When you first came to Mondstadt, he was one of the first few people that you've talked to. You remembered the first time you two met- how he suddenly clasped your hands and smiled, saying how you looked like a goddess that wasn't from anywhere in Teyvat. The rest after that was a blur and you don't even know how you two ended up being as friends.
You were about to walk away when you heard him shuffle and moaned in his sleep, then holding onto your hand closest to him. You turned around and see that he was awake. Awake, but still not in the right mind. "Where are.. You going, (Y/N)?" he asks. "I'm going to my room," you answered.
He sat up and groaned, not letting go of your hand. "Venti, you should go to sleep," you urged. Then, without knowing he would, he tugged on your hand with force, bringing you close to him and being cradled between the arms that he soon wrapped around your waist. "U, uh, Venti..!" You put your arms on his shoulders to balance and keep the two of you at a distance. However, your frail arms weren't strong against him when he leans in and put his head between the crook of your neck and shoulder.
His breath on your skin was enough to send tingles all the way down to your toes and made you unable to think. Your heart raced faster than it did before and it felt as if it was about to pop out of your chest. "Ven-- nngh!" You were interrupted when he nibbles on your ears, earning himself a moan from you. "(Y/N), you shouldn't make noises like that.." he says underneath his breath, making a circle notion on your back. "It's dangerous."
"I, I--.. Venti, you should--" Again, you were interrupted, but this time, when he pushes you on the couch. He hovers above you, staring down at you with eyes that you couldn't comprehend. His breathing was becoming unstable and you were scared of what will happen if you can't escape from under him.
His head lowers down to your shoulders and left a couple of kisses, sending fear throughout your body. This was not something you were down for, even if you like him. There was just a difference between him liking you in his drunk state and in his normal state; you don't know if it would be the drunken mind that takes over his body or his heart. You wish it was the latter, but you wouldn't know since he wasn't in the right mind, to begin with. "Venti, please! Stop!" You tried to push him off, but to your fear, he did not budge one bit.
His head was on your chest and tears started to blur your vision as you pleaded. He stops when he heard your sobs and look up at you, sadness hitting his heart, but for a completely different reason. He decided that it would be best to stop and rested his head on your chest, ears resting where your heart was and hearing the irregular heartbeat that lulled him to drowsiness. Truth be told, he wasn't drunk just yet. Tipsy, but not drunk.
When your sobs died down, you look at him to see if he fell asleep, but it was difficult since you could only see the top of his head. You were thanking all Archons, but soon know that he wasn't asleep just yet when he spoke. "Hey, (Y/N)?" he calls out, his voice audible in the still night, and you hummed as a response. "Your heartbeat.. It's irregular. If I didn't know any better, I'd think it's beating for me.." He hit the bullseye on the comment, but you didn't say anything that would give him an answer. He sighs sadly. "I kind of wish it was because.." He stops and took a breath, contemplating if he should say it. But since he had made you think that he was drunk, he took that as a chance.
"I like you, (Y/N)."

The next day when you awoke, he was no longer on top of you, nor was he in your house. You were kind of relieved that he wasn't around since you couldn't bear to look at him in the eyes- let alone talk to him. Last night, when he said those three words, your heart fluttered and you were sure he knows of it. You wanted to say it as well but decided it wasn't the right time and will wait when he was back to normal.
You're sure he doesn't remember what happened last night so it might make him confused when you suddenly confess, but you wanted to clear this clear wall that stopped the two of you from being together. However, when you went to your usual spot to meet up with him, he wasn't there. It was strange since he left the house long ago.
You walked around the city until you came across the famous, purple witch, Lisa, who had asked for some assistance at the library. You thought about it before hesitantly nodding your head, fearing that Venti might be a bit sad when he sees you're not there waiting. By the time you were done helping out at the library, it was quarter past noon, but when you went to the plaza, he wasn't there. You were a bit disappointed and thought that he was at Angel's Share so you went there first. "Hm? (Y/N), you're not here with that bard?" Diluc greets with his usual, rock expression. Usually, he'd expect you to only show up at the tavern when Venti wanted a drink, but you were alone.
You shook your head. "Actually, I'm looking for him. Did he, perhaps, come here at some point?" you asked. Now it was the redhead's turn to shake his head. "I'm afraid I can't say. I came here 2 hours ago, but he didn't show up." You became disheartened of looking for him and wanted to just go home. However, the sun was still out which means that you still have time. Your legs were already tired from all the walking back and forth that it didn't take long for you to completely give up and just sit on a bench and read a book.
The sun was setting down and you were disappointed that he wasn't in sight anywhere, and you looked everywhere- even making laps around the city and having the same people stare at you weirdly. You got up from your seat and decided that you weren't going to wait any longer and go home. There wasn't a soul in sight anymore. But when you passed the fountain, you see a familiar someone whom you had been looking for coming in from the gates.
"Venti!" You ran up to him, happy that he has shown up. "Where did you go?" you ask, clasping both of his hands, but Venti didn't answer or even look at you which made you worry. "Hey, you okay..?" When you were about to reach and touch his face, he flinches, backing away and removing his hands from yours.
"Oh, uh, yeah.. I was at Starsnatch Cliff to, uh, think about things," he answers, scratching his cheek whilst not once looking at you directly, but you didn't notice it. "What, really? How come you didn't let me join you?" You pout.
"I, I just needed some time to think alone, is all," he answers. His answer made you really curious. The carefree bard who doesn't have a single mora on him, has things that he needs time to think through? It was almost unbelievable if it weren't for the fact that he is human and like any other human, he needs some alone time to think. But for what reason, you don't dare ask.
"Oh, okay, well, um.." There was silence followed after and you were back checking on the decision of confessing to him, now feeling the fear building up. In your many years of life, not once have you felt fear such as the one you have now. It was kind of embarrassing. "Hey, (Y/N), I think you should go home now. I'll see you tomorrow." He was walking away in the opposite direction of your place. You suddenly panicked and without thinking, grab his wrist which stopped the male from going. He looks at you over his shoulder, your face suddenly a deep red while it stares at the ground. "I, I like you, Venti."
Everything in that moment felt as if it was frozen in place and only allowing the flow of time working on the both of you. You were sure that he would return your feelings, but at that moment, you were scared.
"I'm sorry, (Y/N)."
A heart silently broke within one's heart- that heart being yours. It only takes those two words to ruin a friendship and have one coming out of it the most heartbroken. Your heart came crumbling down to ashes like your home many years ago. Was the words you heard last night false? Why hadn't you know of it when you know a person doesn't think straight when their drunk? You felt stupid.
"It won't work out for us," Venti continues, but you were off in your own world, dazed by the rejection. Venti could see your heart squeezing itself to nothingness. In a ruined friendship, one would come out heartbroken, but in this case, two came out of it. Venti wanted nothing more but to like you and spend the rest of time to be with you. But since last night, he decided to go to see Dvalin- his dear friend- whom told him the dangers of an Archon who have lived for many years liking a mere mortal. In the end of Dvalin's words were, "Liking a mortal will only go one way: heartbroken."
He was too mesmerized and caught up with you that he forgot about his eternal life. This, he thought, was a selfish thing. He shouldn't have clung onto you and make you feel something towards him. He should have made sure to keep a distance so that you would use those feelings on someone else. An Archon doesn't deserve to be loved intimately.
".. Why?" It was barely audible, but he still heard it nonetheless. You raise your head and look at him with your saddened eyes that made the bard's heart feel like it was going to be squeezed out. "How do you know if we don't try?" you ask, looking at him with saddened eyes that just made him feel like he wants to hug you-- to make you stop looking at him with those eyes, but he had to do what is best. For the both of you.
He looks away. Should he tell you? If he wanted to build that wall, he should. He opens his mouth. "I am the god, Barbatos.." he says. "You and I can't be together, (Y/N)."
"So, what does that have to do with us not being able to be together?" you ask almost quickly. He looks at you with sad eyes. "I.. Look, I really like you, (Y/N), but this isn't right," his voice slightly cracked, finding it hard to reject you. You look down. Both of you stayed silent, letting what little light there slowly disappears. Then, "If it is eternal life then you and I will be forever together," you whisper and look at the male, eyes not saddened but with fire. He looks at you, confused. Were you not a mortal?
"Do you remember when I first came to Mondstadt?" you asked, but continued, not letting him have an answer. "No one knew where I came from, even when I told them my home's name." You smiled sadly. "I am not from here, Venti. Not from Teyvat or this planet." The god was more confuzzled than he already was. "My home.. Was destroyed.. By my careless hands."
"Just like Teyvat, my home had many gods.. And I'm one of them," you finally confessed. "If you are scared of losing me, then don't worry about it as I have the gift of eternal life." The words that spout out of your mouth was almost unbelievable if it wasn't for the fact that your eyes held the truth. Your eyes were confirmation and Venti took it and hugged you tightly. "A-ah, Venti..?" You were caught by surprise, but soon return it, wrapping your own around his. You felt something wet trickling down to your exposed skin and knew that he was crying. "I, I'm so happy.." he whispers, tightening the hug. "Me too," you say, doing the same, a smile forming on your face.
"We'll be together for the rest of time."
