Whenever it gets too intense he closes his eyes or pulls away he's gotta turn away because it's too much and his look gives him away Not just this scene but this whole episode was wild all those instances that he downplays saving Elizabeth and pretending that it doesn't mean anything this episode really showed just how important she has become despite all of the awful things she has done and that's partly why he denies ever caring about her or liking her because in his mind he shouldn't but he does and that bothers him. He understands her a lot more than he thinks. They're similar and yet different in other ways. but this episode made him come to terms with the possibility of actually losing her and gradually we see him unfolding at the thought of it he was so afraid that he would mess up that he delayed the genius power from coming through this episode was a real game changer in so many ways. the dynamic shifted even more This already has gotten way too long like wow i'll just touch on one more detail.
