Summary: Sam making fun of you for being shorter than him
Warnings: none
Pairing: Sam Winchester Ă reaader
You were strolling around the bunker looking for the shelf that usually held the tomato sauce. You were making pasta and desperately needed something to top your spaghetti with. When you finally found the shelf, you reached for the jar with the sauce.
But there was a problem. You were too short to actually take it from there. You started calling out for Sam, since he was tall enough. He just had to hold out his hand and grab the sauce from the top of the shelf. So you called out his name.
He came running into the kitchen holding a gun and pure worry could be seen on his face. Only when he saw you standing next to the shelf, he realized you weren't in any kind of danger.
"So this is why I had to come?" he asked with an amused look. He walked next to you and you puffed in annoyance. He would usually tease you for your height but he wouldn't offend you.
"Yes. Now can you please give it to me? I made pasta and I really need the sauce." you pleaded with an irritated tone.
"Sure, short stuff, anything for my little lady." he answered, with a somehow pleased look. He had a big, goofy smirk and you just wanted to punch it off his perfect but stupid face.
"Well, if I am a 'little lady' than you are a moose." you replied proudly.
"Your moose" he said, looking down at you.
"My moose." you said while standing on your tip toes to give Sam a sweet but passionate kiss.

oh my fucking god STOP PUTTING YOURE DUMB ASS OC IN THE X-READER TAG YOU FUCKING TROHOGLYDITE STOP USING YOURE OC AS A WAY TO FUCKING FALSE ADVERTISE AND ITS NOT JUST âoh i can use what ever tags i wantâ THAT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU WANT PEOPLE TO SEE IT PUT IT IN THE WRITE TAG âif you dont like it block meâ I DONT FUCKING CARE YOU CLOGGING THE FUCKING X-READER WITH YOUR UGLY ASS OC I HATE IT HERE
Please stop inserting Names when you have âx readerâ in your Tags.
Im looking for âx readerâ stories specifically and I donât wanna start reading a story and see a name halfway trough, only to see the words âcan be read as x readerâ afterwards. Just use OC but pls stop
IF YOU ARE A WRITER, PLEASE READ THISâźď¸
ORIGINAL CHARACTER OR READER INSERT?
i came to talk about a problem that has been happening both here on tumblr and ao3 (which is the incorrect use of tags in some fanfics)
i don't understand why some people use the tag "reader insert" or "x reader" when the story is clearly not a reader insert.
i don't know if it's a way to get your fanfic to reach more people, but this is starting to get really annoying...
if i wanted to read a fanfic where the original character has a name, and original features i would search for that kind of history. the problem is that there is clearly a difference between the tags but people choose to ignore them..
so please, if you are a writer and you use the tags incorrectly (like the example of your fanfic being an oc insert and you still put the tags of reader insert) please correct them!
ORIGINAL CHARACTER IS NOT THE SAME THING AS READER INSERT!

Request:Â hi darling! i have a request. sam winchester x petite female readersheâs always kinda trailing behind him, latching onto him when sheâs scared, asking him questions. one day he gets really frustrated and raises his voice at her, she gets very frightened and flinches, he stomps away and eventually goes to apologize. it ends up with her saying âiâve always felt same around you but you really scared me samâ and ends in fluff By: @sizekinkshawty I hope you enjoy(:
Pairing: Sam Winchester x Petite fem!reader
Summary: Y/N has always felt safe around the younger Winchester. That is, until he snaps at her for asking a question he didnât like all too well. This leads to admitting some unsaid feelings towards each other.
Warning(s): Angst, language, Sam being a scary giant teddy bear for like- five seconds, a little bit of fluff
The Winchester brothers saved you a couple of years ago, right around the time all of the Leviathanâs were walking around the earth after getting loose from purgatory. They figured you werenât going to be safe on your own, and due to the fact that you had no family, they took you under their wing and let you ride along with them. But they never once allowed you to join them on the cases they worked. You were always left in the motel room theyâd check into for a couple of nights, making sure that everything was safe from all of the supernatural entities that could possibly want you dead; the brothers salted the windows and the base of the motel door, and they set not just one, but multiple demon traps, blocking any kind of evil spirit or demon from entering.Â
They even set up traps for Leviathans, and gave you a gun full of silver bullets for any shapeshifter that walked right in. Sam and Dean knew that it was probably a little too much, what they were doing to go out of their way to protect you. But they couldnât take any risks. At least then theyâd know that you were safe. Of course, all of that changed when you all found out about the bunker. In fact, they eased up on it, because they knew now you being here alone was going to be safe. Well, at least one of them knew.
Over the last couple of years, youâve found yourself growing attached to the younger Winchester. Because even though his older brother stopped going all out on making sure you were protected, he never did. He just wasnât as much of a pest as he used to be about it. Every now and then, heâd ask if you were doing okay, reassuring you that he was just in the next room over if you needed anything- you always found comfort in knowing that he chose the room right next to yours just for the sole purpose of you knowing you could rush right over whenever you got scared. He even made sure to call and check up on you whenever he and his brother were on a case that had them out of the bunker for a few days.
Because of this, you took it upon yourself to cling onto him every time something terrified you. He didnât mind it, of course. He never minded being the one to protect you. You were so small and fragile, it always had him afraid that something, or someone could easily snap you like a twig. What really started getting to him, though, was when you began following him around like a lost puppy while he did research, asking questions about what weapons killed what monster. You also wondered what kind of creatures theyâve defeated in the past before you came into their lives.Â
Sam, being the nicest one out of both him and his brother, didn't say anything, but answered all of the questions you had to ease your mind. But when he finally found himself coming undone, it happened to be the day when you asked about joining them along for a case, just to see how it'd go. He wasn't able to stop the laugh that escaped past his lips, before he answered with a flat out, no.Â
"Why not?" You questioned him. "I know everything I need to, and I'd be safe-"
The sound of a hardcover book roughly slamming against the top of the library table cut you off, making you flinch; Sam had thrown the book he was planning on reading for research down out of pure frustration. He never meant to, hell, he didn't even realize what he was doing until it was too late. "Dammit, Y/N, I said no!" He screamed at you. You felt like a little puppy cowering back in fear, with its tail in between its legs and a whimper coming from them. "No means no, why can't you get that through your fucking head?! You've been asking me so many questions these past few days, it's actually driving me insane. Now I've got a question for you- can you leave me the hell alone?!"
He didnât realize how much damage yelling at you was going to do until he had actually done it. At first, it took him a minute to process what he had actually done, but then he saw your face and the way your expression had fallen into a terrified one, your eyes glossing over with tears. With a guilty conscience, the younger Winchester opened up his mouth to speak, but he didn't know what to say to make it all better. And to make matters worse, the deep voice of his older brother coming from behind had him freezing up in place.
"Y/N, why don't you go to your room?" It came out as a question, but you knew that Dean was giving you an order. You could see the disappointment etching his facial features. But he wasn't upset with you, he was upset with his little brother. You bit down onto your bottom lip, before doing what he asked and walking away, leaving him alone to talk to Sam. "What the hell, man? You know better than to yell at her."
âI know, I know I do.â Sam said, letting out a sigh as he pulled out a chair from the table and took a seat. He propped his elbow up on the top and ran a hand down his face. âItâs just- sheâs been asking so many questions these last couple of weeks and I-â
âAnd what?â Dean cut his little brother off, âYou thought that was a good enough reason for you to yell at her the way you did? We want her to know that sheâs safe, Sam. But that canât happen if youâre throwing books around and being a complete asshole.â
âYou obviously didnât hear what she had to ask today.â The younger Winchester mumbled, Dean raised a brow in curiosity, wondering what it was that sent the man off the edge. âShe asked about hunting, if she could come on a hunt with us. I told her no, but she just wouldnât take it for an answer and I-â His words cut off when he found himself getting choked up, his eyes stinging with tears that he had to blink back just so they wouldnât escape. âI just snapped.â
The older Winchester examined his brotherâs facial expressions carefully, and it didnât take long for him to realize why he was getting so emotional. Sam was always afraid of people getting hurt around him, but heâs never once shed a tear unless it was for another reason altogether. âYou like her, donât you?â Sam didnât say a single word. But he didnât have to. All he needed to do was drag his gaze elsewhere for the older man to know. âNow I get it.â
âWhat do I do?â Sam asked his brother.
âYou already know what to do, youâve got to apologize.â Dean pointed out. He began making his way out of the library, but before he did, he stopped in his tracks, turning to face his little brother. âAnd if it makes you feel any better, as crappy as I am when it comes to romance, I know that she likes you too.â
Sam watched as the older man walked away this time, leaving him in a rather confused state of mind after hearing what he had to say. There was no way you liked him, how could a girl like you like a guy like him? Whether or not that was the truth, though. He knew that his brother was right about one thing- he had to apologize to you.
~~~
The younger Winchester was standing out in the hall in front of your bedroom door, hesitant on just reaching out a hand and knocking on it. He's been there for ten minutes, and the guilt that was sitting in the pit of his stomach was just getting worse when he could hear you crying. And it was at this moment that he was going to be beating himself up over what he had done to you for months.Â
Letting out a quiet sigh, he finally knocked on your door. But his lips fell into a frown when he heard you speak, "If you're Sam, don't come in." You said, your voice coming out broken.
He raised his hands in a surrendering motion, as if you were standing right in front of him. "Okay, then I won't come in." He said. "I'll just stay out here." With that being said, he sat himself down on the floor and leaned his backside up against your door. "Y/N, I'm sorry.. I never should've yelled at you like that. I didn't want to, either."
"Then why did you?" You asked, speaking loud enough for him to hear.
"It's just- you've been asking so many questions. And I know, that's not a justifiable reason, but then you asked about going on a hunt with Dean and I.." Sam let out a soft sigh. "Not only was I frustrated when you didn't listen after I said no, but I was also panicked.â
For a moment, he thought that he could hear the shuffling of feet across the floor on the other side of your bedroom door, but then it all fell silent. Either you had moved closer to listen to what he had to say with much more interest, or he was going crazy. But he eventually got his answer when you spoke up again, wondering why he was so panicked. You sounded much closer than you did before. "Everyone I've ever loved or cared for in a certain way has ended up dead. I didn't want you to end up just like them." He explained to you. "I like you, Y/N/N. And as of lately, knowing that youâre safe is the only thing that keeps me sane."
A few moments of silence lingered in the air, and just when the younger Winchester thought he had ruined his friendship with you for good, he found himself nearly falling backwards when you opened up the door without warning. After managing to catch himself, though, he got himself up to his feet and just stood in front of you, his gaze locked onto yours as you looked right back at him. âYou really scared me today, and normally I always feel safe around you.â You said. You watched as his face fell into a saddened expression, he nodded and glanced down at the ground, avoiding your gaze until he heard what you said next. âI still do. And honestly, I think itâs because of how much I like you, too.â
Samâs lips stretched into the widest smile youâve ever seen on him. And before you knew it, he was stepping forward, and bringing you into a tight embrace. Heâs hugged you many times before, but itâs never been anything like this. This time, he was breathing in your scent as he nuzzled his face into the crook of your neck as your arms wrapped around his own. You never knew that just a pair of arms could make you feel so protected and loved, you never knew that just a pair of arms could feel like home.Â
Pairing: Dean x reader
Summary: Y/N has been spending more of her time with Miracle, and Dean isnât having any of it.
Warning(s): Fluff, little bit of humor, little bit of language, spoilers for season 15 if you havenât watched yet.
Ever since Miracle had been let into the bunker, you were a mushy gushy mess. It wasnât every day that you were able to see a dog, and with the life you and the Winchester brothers were living, it wasnât safe for a pet to be roaming around your home. But with Chuck now gone, and the monsters were rarely popping up, your husband, Dean, seemed to have been a little relaxed about having one. He never seemed like an animal person over the years that youâve known him, so you were a little surprised when this four legged fur baby came running in with a wagging tail and a smile on its face. Your new dog was even able to sleep on the bed, right in between you and the older Winchester.Â
That was, until your husband found you growing really attached to the dog. Your cuddles with him would be only for a short amount of time, right up until your dog would come scratching on your closed door, signaling for you to let him in. You would do it, even after being asked not to, and youâd go right to giving all of your attention to him. Dean would never dare say anything, though. He knew how much you loved dogs, and how often youâve dreamt of having one. Just seeing the smile on your face whenever you were petting Miracle was enough to keep him going through the day.Â
But he decided that enough was enough when your anniversary had rolled around. You mightâve gone out to eat and sat on the hood of his car while you watched as the sun went down, but the second you got back home, your attention was back to the dog. Dean wanted to end the night loving up on you, but instead he came into your shared bedroom only to find that you were sitting on the floor with Miracle, teaching him all kinds of tricks.Â
âGood job, buddy!â You praised him when he had done one of his tricks correctly; shaking paws. Sure, it wasnât much, but it sure was enough for you to feed him a treat and give him a good belly rub while you continued on with your praise in the baby voice youâd always use when you spoke to him. âWhoâs a good boy?â You asked him, your lips stretching into the widest smile when you could see one of his own. âYou are! Youâre a good boy!â
With narrowed eyes, Dean folded his arms over his chest and quietly huffed. Damn dog is stealing my girl. Was he really jealous of a dog? Of course he was. But he wasnât going to admit to that.Â
âHey, sweetheart.â Your husband finally spoke up after a couple of minutes of just lingering in the doorway. He never caught your attention at first, up until now. You stopped petting Miracle for a moment and raised a brow up at him. âSammy isnât doing too well.. You know, his depression has been bad today.â He lied to you.Â
And of course, you knew that he was, because heâs been out all day with Eileen. âDe, your brother didnât get back home until an hour ago.â You reminded him. âI even got to talk to him before he went to bed and when I did, he seemed perfectly good to me.âÂ
Dean fought the urge to roll his eyes. Of course you just had to talk to his brother tonight. So, if that lie wasnât going to work, he was going to try a different approach. âOkay, maybe Sam isnât depressed.â He said. âBut maybe Cas wouldnât mind taking him off of our hands for a bit.â
For a moment, you didnât say anything. You didnât even blink. All you did was stare at him like he had two heads.
âDean.. Cas is in heaven.â Again, you reminded him of recent events.Â
âHe-â You watched as your husband tilted his head, pretending he was confused about how this all happened. âHe is?â
You slowly nodded your head. At first, you wondered why he was acting like this, but then you had a rather suspicious feeling of something that had the ends of your lips twitching into a small smile. âAre you jealous of Miracle?â You asked him, your own head tilting in curiosity. Of course, this had the man letting out a fake laugh as he shook his head.
âMe? Jealous of a dog?â For a moment he was acting as if you were the insane one, but then his laughter stopped and his face fell into a pout, his bottom lip sticking out and he did his absolute best at the puppy dog eyes Sammy always pulled whenever he was in trouble, or was trying to get somebody to listen to him. âYeah.â You couldnât help but let out a quiet giggle at what the man had just admitted, before you pushed yourself up to your feet.
âWhy are you so jealous of a dog?â You asked.
âIt should be clear why Iâm so jealous, Y/N.â Dean, like a little kid, whined before stomping over to the bed and flopping down right onto it. You folded your arms across your chest and sat down on the edge right next to him. âEver since I brought him into the bunker, itâs been Miracle this, Miracle that. I was able to tolerate it, but tonightâs our anniversary, and just when I thought we could end the night with some sexy time, youâre in here shaking paws with the damn dog!â You opened your mouth to say his name, but you found yourself being cut off as he continued with his rambling. âAnd lately, Iâve just been thinking, what does he have that I donât have? Is it because heâs more handsome? Does he give better kisses? Better cuddles? Why do I have to compete?â
âI shouldnât have to compete, though. Y/N, Miracle eats, he sleeps, goes number one and two on the grass and sometimes, when heâs up for it, likes to play.â Dean said. âI do that too, so why am I just not enough?â
âDean, you do know that heâs a dog, right?â You reminded him. But you were finding this more hilarious than annoying.Â
âYou donât know that, though!â He suddenly blurted out as he quickly sat up. âFor all we know, he couldâve been a prince, but a witch cast a spell on him that turned him into a dog. I mean- he was a stray and didnât have a collar on him when I found him.â
âIâm pretty sure youâre forgetting that the only reason you found him was because everyone on earth had vanished, Dean.â You said. But that still didnât get rid of the frown that was stretched across his face. You leaned in close to him, gently nudging your nose against his cheek as you wrapped your arms around his neck. âBaby, Miracle might be a good boy, but youâre my best man. Not only are you my husband, but youâre my best friend, too. No dog could ever take your place.â
It took a few seconds, but your husbandâs lips slowly turned into the widest grin. âYou promise?â
You hummed happily, pressing a kiss to his cheek. âI promise.â
âOkay, now Iâm feeling better.â He said, turning his head to face you. You couldnât help but smile at him all before he cupped both sides of your face into the palm of his hands and pulled you into a passionate kiss. Unfortunately for Dean, Miracle started barking, and the man pulled away to say just one more thing. âHey, you stole my wife from me, Iâm stealing her back for the night so donât you go yelling at us.â
Somehow, it seemed that Miracle had understood everything the older Winchester had said. You could hear him whimper as his tail tucked in between his legs and he walked out of the room, leaving the two of you to go back to kissing.
Miracle was heartbroken.
Because little did you know, he actually was a prince.
Pairing: Eventual Dean x Reader
Warning(s): Violence, angst
Summary: Y/N and the boys follow the coordinates in Johnâs journal and land in Colorado, where they investigate the disappearance of several campers. Meanwhile, Y/N struggles with the nightmares of her parentâs death.
Word count: 4,384
Sweat beaded down your forehead as you pressed the cloth you had to your mouth and your nose, keeping you from breathing in any of the fumes the fire gave off. This was one big nightmare that you thought would never happen to you; The apartment you had in San Francisco, California, had caught on fire. You didnât exactly know what caused it, you were always so careful to make sure everything was off and unplugged by the time you would leave. You rarely had any candles lit, and when you did, youâd triple check them to see if they were still burning before you left.
You shouldnât have been in here, you shouldâve stayed put when the fireman told you to after you had come back from the grocery store, but your parents were here. They were visiting you for the week, and they stayed inside while you went out to get some ingredients for the dinner you were going to be making.
âMom! Dad!â Your voice was muffled, but it was still loud enough for either of them to hear, if they were still alive. You flinched when part of the ceiling came crashing down just a few feet away from you. Your heart was beating rapidly inside of your chest as you prayed that your parents were okay.
You stopped in your spot when you noticed that the fire was blocking you from going any further. You were on your way to the room they were staying in, but there was no chance in getting in unless you wanted to catch on fire.
âY/N!â You could hear a voice you had heard only a couple of times before coming from behind you and you turned around to see Piper Halliwell and her sister, Paige Matthews. They had been trying to keep you safe ever since they swore they saw a âdemonâ coming after you. You would always laugh at such a thing, but now you were wondering how the hell they had gotten in here so fast. âWe saw a shadow standing near the window of your bedroom when we were outside and Iâm pretty thatâs itâs the demon thatâs after you. We have to get you out of here.â
âNo!â You protested against what they were trying to do, youâd blame yourself if you left and your parents ended up dead because of you. âIâm not going anywhere until I find my parents!â
âHoney, I know you want to find your parents, but youâre going to die if you stay here.â Paige tried to reason with you, but you wouldnât listen. All three of you flinched with another part of the ceiling came crashing down again, this time, it grazed your arm, burning a part of your flesh and you couldnât help but let out a loud scream of pain.
âY/N, come on. We have to get you out of here, I can get my husband to heal you.â Piper told you as she reached her hand out for you. You stood there for a few moments as you stared at her, hesitant to leave your parents behind. And it seemed she was catching on. âYouâre only nineteen, your parents wouldnât want you to die at such a young age trying to look for them, they would want you alive.â
Letting out a sigh, you knew she was right. You grabbed onto her hand as she took a hold of her sisterâs, but before Paige could get a chance to orb out of there and to the safety of Piperâs home, you three caught a glimpse of a manâs figure.
âGet her out of here, now!â You heard your dadâs voice calling out to the three of you as he started rushing towards you. âHeâs coming for her!â
âDaddy!â You called out to him and let go of Piperâs hand as you stepped forward to go over to him, but you were quickly pulled back when the demon you didnât believe was after you had showed up behind him. He stabbed your dad in the neck, and let the sharp blade cut all the way down the middle.
You let out a scream of terror as you watched your dadâs body drop to the ground, all before your eyes trailed up to meet the demonâs yellow ones. A smirk stretched wide across his lips at the fact he now had you in his sight.
âPiper, blow him up!â Paige ordered at her sister, who had no second thoughts in using her powers on the demon. But when it only sent him stumbling backwards instead of blowing him to bits and pie, Piper grabbed a hold of your hand again, telling her little sister to get going before he had his chance at hurting you.
And in seconds, Paige was orbing all three of you out of there.
~~~
A terrified gasp escaped your throat as your eyelids ripped wide open. For a moment, it took you a while to realize you were just having a nightmare as you looked around to see that you were still in the backseat of Deanâs Impala, rock music filled your ears as you controlled your heavy breathing, allowing you to calm down. You turned your head slightly to see the brothers were sitting in the front seats, everything was just like it was before you had fallen asleep.
âAre you okay?â
Dean glanced into the mirror to and stared at you with a worried look in his eye. You didnât know why you were beginning to have nightmares about the night your parents passed away, but it had been happening ever since you came across the brothers again. This was your third time having this nightmare, and it wasnât getting any better. But Dean didnât know this, neither did Sam.
You still nodded your head, pretending that everything was fine as you adjusted yourself in your seat. âWhere are we?â You curiously asked. You found yourself remembering the conversation you heard from the brothers about heading to Colorado from the coordinates John left in his journal for his oldest son to find before you had fallen asleep.
âJust outside of Grand Junction.â Dean replied, never taking his eyes off the road.
Sam pulled out the paper map again so it was resting against his lap. He tried to keep himself focused on it before speaking up again. âYou know what? Maybe we shouldnât have left Stanford so soon.â
âSam, we dug around there for a week. We came up with nothing.â Dean reminded his little brother. âIf you want to find the thing that killed JessicaâŚ.â
âGot to find Dad first.â Sam finished, still observing the map.
âDad disappearing, and this thing shows up again after twenty years? Itâs not a coincidence.â Dean looked over at his brother. âDad will have answers. Heâll know what to do.â
âItâs weird, man.â Sam mumbled, his face scrunching up. âThe coordinates he left us, this Black Water RidgeâŚâ
âWhat about it?â Dean asked.
âThereâs nothing there. Itâs just woods.â Sam remarked, putting the map back down into his lap again after taking a closer look. âWhy is he sending us to the middle of nowhere?â The boys looked at each another, each sharing a moment of confusion before letting the car fall into a silence.
A little while later, the three of you pulled up into the Rangerâs Station to find more information on the place their father pointed them to. Sam was observing a 3-D looking map, Dean was staring at some picture as you stood next to the window looking out at the woods. You kept silent to yourself, as you remembered all of the camping trips you and your parents would take every summer when you were younger. You couldnât remember the last time you slept in a tent with trees surrounding you and a fire burning so you could roast your marshmallows as you listened to the stories your dad would tell you.
âDude, check out the size of this friggingâ bear.â Dean said, you wiped at a tear you didnât even realize was falling down your face as you turned your head to land your eyes on a framed picture of a huge grizzly bear.
Sam walked over from the map, crossing his arms over his chest, looking at the photograph. ââŚAnd a dozen or more grizzles in the area. Itâs no nature hike, thatâs for sure.â You gulped as you titled your head to the side and observed the picture for a few more moments.
âYou kids arenât planning to out near Black Water Ridge, by any chance?â A voice called out. You quickly turned around to see there was a ranger standing across the room with his hands on his hips and an eyebrow raised, waiting patiently for an answer.
âOh, no, sir. Weâre environmental-study majors from U.C. Boulder- just working on a paper.â Sam lied, flashing an innocent smile.
âRecycle, man.â Dean chuckled out, throwing his fist in the air for some added effect.
âBull.â The ranger said. You froze in fear. âYouâre friends with that Hailey girl, right?â He asked. The ranger grabbed his mug of coffee before heading over towards the opposite side of his desk. You and the boys followed behind.
âYes. Yes, we are, RangerâŚâ You lied, quickly dropping your eyes to his name tag. âWilkinson.â
âWell, I will tell you what exactly I told her.â The ranger explained, the three of you walked closer to hear what he was saying. âHer brother filled out a back country permit saying he wouldnât be back from Black Water until the 24th. So itâs not exactly a missing persons now, is it? Tell that girl to quit worrying. Iâm sure her brother is just fine.â He mumbled the last part, slowly walking away.
âWe will.â Dean said. âWell, that Hailey girlâs quite a pistol, huh?â
The ranger sighed, âThatâs putting it mildly.â
âActually, you know what would help is if I could show her a copy of that back country permit.â Dean suggested, stepping closer to the ranger. âYou know, so she could see her brotherâs return date.â
Dean managed to persuade the ranger to give him a copy of the report. You followed behind the brothers as you all stepped out of the office and went back to walking on the dirt path, heading to the Impala. Dean chuckled to himself as he looked over the piece of paper once more.
âWhat, are you cruising for a hook up or something?â You asked, not even realizing that you said it out loud, that was until you caught his gaze that seemed to be written with confusion at what you were implying.
âWhat do you mean?â Dean questioned. His eyebrows furrowed together.
âThe coordinates point to Black Water Ridge. So what are we waiting for? Letâs just go find your dad. Why do we need to talk to this girl anyway?â You questioned back.
âWhat, are you jealous?â Dean asked in a curious tone of voice. Truth be told, you were. But itâs been awkward between the both of you since you told him and his brother about your parents. He still loved you, in fact, he wanted to be with you again. But he couldnât help but feel guilty for bringing up your parents. Sure, he didnât know about any of what happened, but it still gnawed at him and now he feels as though you think heâs too inconsiderate. You slipped your hands into your back pockets and looked down at your feet, mumbling a simple lie and telling him that you werenât jealous. He felt a bit disappointed at your answer, but he brushed it off as he spoke up again. âLook, maybe we just know what weâre walking into before we actually do it.â
You turned your head away from the man just to roll your eyes once more. After a few seconds of silence, you looked back to see that Dean kept his gaze fixated on you. Your eyebrows furrowed in wonder. âWhat?â You asked.
âWhy are you acting all âshoot first, ask questions laterâ?â Dean questioned.
âI donât know!â You said, your voice rising in slight annoyance at the man. âIâm just exhausted! And I want this case over with.â With that, you opened up the backseat and slid yourself into the Impala, hoping that you could at least sleep on the way to this girlâs house as the boys followed you in suit.
~~~
The three of you arrived at the Collinsâ household just as the sun was setting; you stood with your hands inside your pockets as you watched Dean press the doorbell. It was a grueling minute before the front door opened. A girl that looked to be about your age was the one who opened up the front door. She gave the three of you confused glances, looking each of you over before the older Winchester spoke up.
âYou must be Hailey Collins. Iâm Dean, this is Sam and Y/N.â Dean introduced the three of you. âWeâre rangers with the park service. Ranger Wilkinson sent us over. We wanted to ask you some questions about your brother Tommy.â
âLet me see some I.D.â Hailey said. The man wasted no time and pulled out one of his fake badges for her. He pressed it up to the screen door, letting her scan over it for a few moments before looking up at the three of you again, Dean dropped his arms to his side. It felt like an eternity passed before she broke the silence. âCome in.â She opened up the screen door for you to walk in, but just as you were about take your first step, her eyes landed on the parked Impala. âThat yours?â
âYeah.â Dean said. He broke out into a flirtatious smile, acting as if he enjoyed the fact that she took notice.
âNice car.â Hailey admitted, nodding her head once. And with that, she turned around and headed further inside the house. Dean turned his head and gave his brother a smirk, the kind that could be easily translated, he was into this chick. You rolled your eyes and pushed past him.
All of you managed to walk inside the house and follow the noise to the dining room, but Hailey was nowhere in sight. You smiled politely at a boy, who looked to be just a teenager, but he didnât break his concentration from the table when he looked up for just a second. You saw a flick of black hair coming from the kitchen, Hailey must have wandered in there after she let all of you in.
âSo, if Tommyâs not due back for a while, how do you know something wrong?â Sam asked, starting off the conversation again.
Hailey came back into the dining room with two plastic bowls filled with food, she answered the question after she placed them on the table. âHe checks in every day by cell. He emails photos, stupid little videos.â She said. Her voice became harder when she spoke up again. âBut we havenât heard anything in over three days now.â
âWell, maybe he canât get cell reception.â You said, raising your eyebrows.
âHeâs got a satellite phone, too.â Hailey remarked, she turned her back and walked away again.
âCould it be heâs just having fun and forget to check in?â Dean questioned.
The boy who had been quiet since you and the brothers been here finally spoke up. âHe wouldnât do that.â He almost snapped at the oldest Winchester from his accusation.
âOur parents are gone. Itâs just me and my two brothers.â Hailey confessed. âWe all keep pretty close tabs on each other.â
âCan I see those pictures he sent you?â Sam asked, wrapping his fingers together and pointing.
Hailey agreed, getting all four of you around her computer as she pulled up files of her brother, Tommy. You noticed most of them were from the camping trip. She pulled up the last video he sent her.
âHey Hailey,â Tommy said with a grin, you noticed that it was taken at night in the comfort of his tent. âDay six. Weâre still out near Black Water Ridge. Weâre fine, keeping safe, so donât worry, okay? Talk to you tomorrow.â Maybe it was you going crazy, but you swore you saw a shadow quickly run past the tent during the few seconds of the video. You looked at both the boys, but Sam was the only one that turned to look back at you, sharing the same confused look.
âWeâll find your brother. Weâre heading out to Black Ridge first thing.â Dean said.
âThen maybe Iâll see you there.â Hailey said as she brushed past Dean. Both brothers looked at one another. âLook, I canât sit around here anymore, so I hired a guide. Iâm heading out there in the morning, and Iâm gonna find Tommy myself.â
âI think I know you feel.â Dean muttered, Hailey looked at him.
âHey, would you mind forwarding these to me?â You asked, pointing to the files. âI think they would help me a little better, you know.â She gave you a slightly confused look, but she nodded her head and agreed.
~~~
That same night, the three of you went to a bar. It was a busy night with people crowding the place, guys playing a game of pool and waitresses passing around glasses of beer. The last bar you ever stepped into was P3, a club that Piper owned. It was weird being somewhere completely different without the sisterâs surrounding you.
âSo, what did you come up with that research of yours?â You turned your head to look at Dean, he was staring at you, nodding towards your bag that sat on the floor.
You reached for your bag, placing it on the table and pulled out the laptop youâve had since you were twenty one and your notebook. âSo, Black Water Ridge doesnât get a lot of traffic- local campers mostly- but, still, this past April, two hikers went missing out there.â You explained, watching as Sam began to pull up the video with your laptop. âThe strange thing is, they were never found.â
âAny before that?â Dean asked, watching as you pulled out a newspaper article you found online.
âYeah,â You said, handing the paper to Dean and Sam to look at. âIn 1982, eight different people all vanished in the same year. Authorities said it was a grizzly attack. And, again, in 1959, and again, before that in 1936- every 23 years, just like clock work.â
âOkay, watch this. Here is the clincher.â Sam said, pulling up Tommyâs video. âI downloaded that guy Tommyâs video to the laptop.â He fast forwarded the video until it was just seconds away from the part that confused you. He clicked on a button a few times, letting the video go frame by frame to show you and Dean.
âDo it again,â Dean said, leaning it closer to take a better look.
Sam rewound the video by a few seconds and clicked a button three times to let you see the video in slow motion. You could clearly see the shadow pass by the tent. âThatâs three frames. Itâs a fraction of a second.â Sam explained, âWhatever that thing is, it can move.â
Dean slapped both of you on the shoulders, âI told you something weird was going on.â He stated in a matter of fact tone. You rolled your eyes.
âYeah. I got one more thing thatâs gonna make you jump for joy.â You sarcastically remarked. âIn the â59 attack, one camper survived the supposed grizzly attack, just a kid- barely crawled out of the woods alive.â
âIs there a name?â Dean asked, taking a look at the article again.
âYup, Sam has his address and everything. I think we could check him out after we eat dinner.â You said, grabbing a menu and looking at what to eat. âBecause I donât know about you two, but I am starving.â
You watched as Deanâs lips stretched into a slight smirk as he leaned in closer to his brother to whisper something in his ear. The smile on Samâs face made you wonder what exactly it was Dean had said to him.
~~~
âLook, Ranger, I donât know why youâre asking me about this.â An older man muttered, letting the three of you into his home. You noticed the man was now in sixties, dressed in sweats and an old bathrobe. A cigarette was hanging out of his mouth and it looked like he hasnât shaved in a few days. You watched as Dean closed the door behind him and looked around the place. âItâs public record.â He went on. âI was a kid. My parents got mauled by a-â
âGrizzly? Thatâs what attacked them?â Sam questioned as the room fell silent for a few moments. With his back turned to you, all you could see was a ring of smoke he blew out and the nodding of his head.
âThe other people that went missing that year- those bear attacks, too?â Dean asked, taking a few steps forward to the older man. The man blinked a few times before looking away, ignoring Deanâs questions. âWhat about all the people that missing this year? Same thing?â
âIf we know what weâre dealing with, we could stop it.â Your voice was soft, you tried to get the man to feel comfortable, but it didnât work.
Pulling out the cigarette, he looked at you straight in the eye. âI seriously doubt that.â He stated. âAnyways, I donât see the difference it would make.â He sat down in a seat right next to the window he was once standing at, reaching for a drink and muttering, âYou wouldnât believe me. Nobody ever did.â
âMr. ShawâŚâ Sam took a few steps forward, slowly making his way over and taking a seat next to the man. His tone was soft and reassuring. âWhat did you see?â
He sighed to himself, you watched as the look on his face slowly turned in to some sort of pain. Like he was just remembering what he went through all those years ago. His eyes were full of sadness. âNothing. It moved too fast to see. It hid to well. I heard it, though.â His eyebrows slightly furrowed together as he recollected on the memory. âA roarâŚâ Sam turned to look at you and Dean, before looking back at the man. ââŚLike no man or animal I ever heard.â
âIt came at night?â Sam speculated, the man nodded his head. âGot inside your tent?â
âIt got inside our cabin.â The man confessed. âI was sleeping in front of the fireplace when it came in. It didnât smash a window or break the door- it unlocked it. Do you know of a bear that could do something like that?â You had to look at the boys, something about this story made your stomach turn into knots. And it was only getting worse. âI didnât even wake up until I heard my parents screaming.â
âIt killed them?â You found yourself asking in a quiet tone.
âDragged them off into the night.â The man recalled, the sadness was becoming too much for him.
âWhy it left me alive- Iâve been asking that myself ever since. It did leave me this, though.â You watched as he pulled down the collar of his shirt to reveal four deep wounds on the left side of his collar bone.
âThereâs something evil in those woods.â He admitted, nodding his head. âIt was some sort of demon.â
âThank you.â You smiled at the older man, trying your hardest to keep yourself calm all before turning around and following the brothers out to the hall and shut the door.
âSpirits and demons donât have to unlock doors.â Dean stated, âThey just go through the walls.â
âSo itâs probably something else- something corporeal.â Sam guessed.
Dean looked over at his brother, his face was written with confusion. â'Corporealâ? Excuse me, professor?â
âShut up,â Sam remarked back. Typical brothers. âSo, what do you think?â
âThe claws, the speed that it moves- it could be a skin walker, maybe a black dog. Whatever weâre talking about, weâre talking about a creature,â Dean stopped and looked at his brother. âAnd itâs corporeal, which means we can kill it.â
You rolled your eyes and followed behind the brothers until both of you headed outside, you watched as Dean headed towards his trunk and opened up the secret compartment, he lifted up a shotgun to use it as a base to keep it open. He pulled out a cameo green duffel bag and began putting in different weapons inside the bag. Sam headed over and began helping.
âWe canât let that Hailey girl out there.â You declared, not wanting the girl to get hurt.
âWhat are we gonna tell her- she canât go into the woods because of a big, scary monster?â Dean muttered, looking over his shoulder to stare at you.
You gave him a glare. âYeah, I do actually. Itâs not safe for her to head out there with that creature roaming around the place. She could get hurt.â
âHer brotherâs missing, Y/N.â He reminded you, you rolled your eyes. âSheâs not just gonna sit this out. No, we go with her, we protect her, and we keep our eyes peeled for our fuzzy predator friend.â
âSo finding your father isnât good enough?â You questioned, tilting your head to the side, watching as he pulled out the bag full of weapons. Sam was keeping quiet, but you knew he was feeling the same about this situation. He ripped the gun away and slammed the hood down. âNow you gotta babysit too?â
âWhat the hell is your problem?â Dean asked, his face slowly twitching into anger.
âNothing.â You lied.
âY/N..â
âMaybe my problem is the fact weâre on this stupid case, and youâre too busy focusing on a way to possibly get into this chickâs pants!â Your outburst seemed to have shocked Dean. He went to speak up to you, but you made your way to the Impala and slipped yourself into the backseat, slamming the door behind you. Maybe it was wrong of you to say that, it was wrong to get jealous like you were because you and Dean werenât together anymore, you havenât been for seven years.
But since meeting him again, you thought maybe, just maybe there was a chance. After all, he had given you a promise the day he had to leave with his father; if you two ever were to run into each other again, youâd be together again. You were his first love, and you were his first heart break. The day he had to leave you, was the most emotional day of his life. He didnât want it to happen again.
Episode summary: Y/NÂ gets reunited with the Winchesterâs after years of being apart. And although she is happy to be around them again, she finds herself lying about who she really is because of what they do.
Word count: 2,619
Your feet ached and you felt like you had been running forever, but you kept following Dean to where ever he was heading to, which was the Welch household. You saw that the Impala was parked off to the side of the road. But you couldnât quite make out where Sam was inside of it. Running a little bit faster, you finally spotted him sitting inside the car with the ghost of Constance sitting on top of his body, hurting him. Your lips stretched into a scowl.
Adrenaline pumped through your body as you thought of something, the gun dug into your backside. Ignoring the shouts from Dean, you suddenly found yourself running faster than him and pulling out the gun. You stopped at the passenger side and saw Constance had somehow transformed into this skeletal ghost that didnât make you scared like she wanted.
âGet down!â You shouted at Sam. The ghost looked at you before you pulled the trigger several times, the window shattered into a million pieces as you slowly inched closer towards the car with each shot. You waited a few seconds until she was gone, but somehow she popped back up again. You quickly brought the gun back up again and shot a few more times until she finally vanished into thin air. You thought that it would do the job, but Sam decided that wasnât good enough.
He turned the engine back on and floored it, driving right through the house and lost himself in the pile of wreckage. Dean called out his little brotherâs name as he ran to the crash. You followed after him into the house and saw that Sam was okay, but stuck inside the car. You helped Dean get him out as best as you could. When he was free, you wrapped his right arm around your shoulder and tried to steady his body onto yours to keep him from being in too much pain.
Your eyes wandered around the house until they landed on Constance, she was across the room now. She bent down and picked up a photograph that must have dropped from the crash. Her eyes went from the picture towards the three of you. You nervously gulped, her face was written with anger as she threw the frame back towards the ground in frustration. She was pissed.
In a blink of an eye she moved and somehow dragged a dresser and threw it against your bodies, pinning you against the car. You groaned from the sudden pressure and pain, trying your hardest to help the boys push this thing off your body, but it was no use.
Then the lights flickered on around the place and an eerie vibe set in; she changed her mood, frantically looking around the place to see what was causing it. But she knew exactly what it was. She turned her head towards the staircase. You watched as water began pouring down through the wooden cracks and stairs, Constanceâs attention was focused on two figures that stood on top of the stairs.
She walked to it, her eyes landed on the small shadows of bodies that she could make out. What they said made a shiver run down your spine when you realize who they were, her dead kids. âYouâve come home to us, Mommy.â The children whispered in sync, they held hands. She just stood there, looking at the shadows for a few moments until she turned her head towards the right.
Then they were back after so many years of neglect. There stood her real children in the flesh again. They wrapped their tiny arms around her body as she screamed out in terror, the guilt settled in after all these years of running away from what she had done to them. But she couldnât escape. Seconds later you saw a flash of light causing you to turn your head as the room shook all around you.
After a few seconds, you turned back to see what happened. You noticed that Constance and her children were gone, all except for a puddle of water that was left behind. The three of you looked at one another, making sure everyone was all right. Sam and Dean pushed off the dresser and let it fall back towards the ground.
You headed towards the wet spot, you heard Sam and Dean follow behind. âSo this is where she drowned her kids.â Dean said, looking around the place one more time.
âThatâs why she could never go home.â Sam explained, âShe was too scared to face them.â
âYou found her weak spot, nice job Sammy.â Dean congratulated his brother by slapping his bruised chest before heading towards his beloved car to see if there was any damage.
Sam forced out a chuckle through the pain, his eyes dropping towards you. âI wish I could the same thing for you. What were you thinking shooting Casper in the face, you freak?â
You rolled your eyes and crossed your arms over your chest. âI saved your ass, didnât I?"
"Iâll tell you another thing.â Dean spoke up, leaning over to inspect something on the Impala. âIf you screwed up my car, Iâll kill you.â
Sam just laughed at his brotherâs threat as Dean flashed his brother a glare that you knew wasnât a serious one. You smiled to yourself as you saw how immature the boys were acting. And Dean seemed to be a bit more happier, he didnât know what it was, but having you around him again after a few years brought out the goofiest part of him he didnât know he had.
The brothers wasted no time in getting the car out of the wreckage, while you tried your hardest to keep yourself warm from the sudden gust of wind that hit you. You rubbed your hands along your arms to create some sort of friction to keep them warm. Even with the jacket you had on, it wasnât enough to keep you warm.
Suddenly, you felt something heavy drape over your shoulders and the familiar smell of Deanâs cologne filled your nose. The man had let you wear the jacket, just like he had let you wear before all those years ago. You slid your arms through the holes, letting out a laugh at how big it seemed on you. But oh, it sure was warm.
âThank you for this.â You spoke to him in the softest tone of voice as you gave him a small smile.
âYouâre welcome, sweetheart.â Dean returned the gesture as he wrapped an arm around your shoulders. You both started walking back to the Impala. âSo, where should I drop you off? Your parents house, a motel..â
You could feel your smile drop at the mention of your parents. Of course, that was one thing you forgot to tell him and his brother when you saw them again after seven damn years. You stopped walking, standing at the backseat door of the Impala as you overlooked the brotherâs faces; They were both filled with concern at the sudden shift in your mood.
You let out a sigh, âMy parents passed away trying to protect me five years ago.â You admitted to the both of them, leaning yourself up against the car, you folded your hands together on top of it, spilling out most of the truth about what had gone down during the years you hadnât seen them. âA demon killed them, which is the whole reason why I wanted to learn more about the supernatural.. This demon tried to come after me, but there were a couple of people.. hunters, I guess, who saved me and brought me to their home.â
The brothers were silent for a moment, Dean couldnât help but hate himself for bringing your parents up. âY/N.. Iâm so sorry.â He apologized to you,
You shook your head, giving him a small smile. âThereâs no way you couldâve known, Dean.â You reassured him. âDonât beat yourself up over that.â Â
âWhat about the demon?â Sam couldnât help himself but to ask, you looked back over at him, wondering what he was trying to ask. âDid they manage to kill the demon?â
âThe demonâs out there.â You admitted to them. âIt wasnât like any other demon they had seen before.â You fidgeted with your thumbs all before pushing away from the Impala.âLetâs get going, yeah?â You said to them, giving them a small smile before slipping yourself into the backseat, leaving Sam and Dean in their own personal thoughts for a moment before they followed you in suit.
~~~
The Impala was back on the road in no time with only a broken taillight that could be fixed in the morning, but for now, all of you needed to get home safely like promised. Dean was at the driverâs seat while Sam was in the passengerâs side, his fatherâs journal sitting on his lap with the page flipped towards the coordinates to see where they lead. His finger traced around a trail until he found out where his father wanted them to go.
âOkay, hereâs where Dad went.â Sam pointed out on the map that he leaned against the dashboard. âItâs called Black Bottle Ridge, Colorado.â
âSounds charming.â Dean remarked. He looked down at the map for a few seconds before turning his attention back to the road. âHow far?â
âAbout six hundred miles.â Sam answered, turning head slightly to the side to observe the map a little bit more under the flashlight.
âIf we shag ass, we could make it by morning.â Dean suggested, a little bit of hope rising in his voice.
Sam looked up from the map, he was quiet for a few moments, not sure of how to break the news towards his older brother. He wasnât as serious as finding his father like his brother was. âDean, umâŚâ His brother looked at the road before glancing at his brother.
âYouâre not going.â He muttered underneath his breath.
âThe interviewerâs in ten hours. I got to be there.â Sam tried to explain, but his older brother didnât want to hear anymore of it.
Dean scoffed and positioned himself around in the seat to keep the air from getting awkward. âYeah, yeah. Whatever. Iâll take you home.â He muttered underneath his breath, trying to disguise his disappointment with hardening anger.
The car fell into a silence between the two brothers when the conversation ended. Dean looked at the rear view mirror to see how you were doing after todayâs events; he caught a glimpse of your sleeping face in the backseat. You had his beloved leather jacket wrapped around your tiny body, he couldnât help but smile at the sight of you just passed out from todayâs adventures.
âPromise me youâll keep her safe.â Samâs voice broke the silence. Dean turned his head to look at his brother. âWhatever you do, make sure that demon doesnât manage to get her. She was really tough today, but I donât think she could handle being on her own.â
"Trust me, Sammy.â Dean gave a promise to his brother he was going to keep. âI plan on keeping her near me this time.â
~~~
You woke up a few hours later to the sound of mumbled voices and doors being slammed shut. Dawn was slowly rising again, making it a bit easier for you to make out the blurry vision of Sam leaning against the car while he talked to his brother one more time. You tried to get yourself up into a sitting position, but your body felt so heavy from all the running around you did today. You slouched back down and tugged at the jacket more to keep yourself warm again.
âYouâre leaving already?â You asked in a sleepy tone, your eyes barely able to keep themselves opened. He nodded, giving you a small smile as he walked over to the door you were near. He opened it up so you could crawl out and reach up, wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him into a tight hug. âIt was really good to see you again.â
âIt was good to see you, too,â Sam muttered into your hair with a small smile as he hugged you back.âI missed my best friend.â
âLetâs go Sleeping Beauty, we have a long drive ahead of us.â Dean said. You got into the passenger side of the Impala after he had said that and he drove away from the apartment building and back to the open road, heading to Black Bottle for the search to continue for his father, but you didnât know you were tagging along with him.
âSo, where are you taking me?â You asked him.
His lips stretched into a small smile. âI was actually planning on keeping you with me.â He said, dropping his right hand from the steering wheel to reach for yours. You held onto his hand as he gave it a gentle squeeze. âI donât want to lose you again.â
You smiled at the man, happy with the plan he had it mind. âI wonât go anywhere if you donât want me to.â
Happy with what I said, he let everything fall quiet for a few minutes; all you felt was the vibrations of the moving car and the radio. But when Dean yelled out, âSon of a bitch!â You knew something was wrong as the car suddenly jerked around into a rough u-turn. You had to clutch the seat to keep yourself from slamming against the door. It took you only a few seconds to realize that Dean was heading back to Stanford.
âListen Y/N, I want you to stay inside the car no matter what happens.â Dean instructed. You nodded your head, suppressing your fear as you mumbled out an okay.
Dean killed the engine and raced inside the building, leaving you alone with your racing mind and endless questions. Your heart was beating rapidly inside your chest with fear, wondering what the hell was going on. You turned your head to see the lights above you were flickering like crazy, before you slowly turned your eyes to the dashboard clock. Everything about this felt so familiar to you, but you couldnât figure out what it was.
Pretty soon, you saw Samâs apartment became engulfed into flames. You gasped as you frantically searched for any sign of Dean. A grueling ten seconds later, you saw him step outside the building with Sam, who was fighting and calling out someoneâs name, you wondered who he was calling after.
~~~
There were police cars surrounding the building, and after Dean had explained to you that Samâs girlfriend was in there and had died in the fire, you tried getting the boy to say something, but he kept silent. He just busied himself with taking apart a gun and reassembling it while Dean questioned the police to see if he could learn about what happened.
Dean came back after another few minutes, the look on his face was defeated, nobody had found Jessica, Samâs girlfriendâs body. It was as if she had disappeared into thin air. Sam violently threw the gun back into the trunk when he was done putting it back together, he looked at you and Dean, speaking up for the first time since all of this happened.
âWe got work to do.â

You peeked your head through the slightly open door to the room you thought for sure you'd be staying in at least until you managed to get back onto your feet and handle living by yourself again. You looked out into the dark hallway, and just when you thought everyone was asleep, you quietly opened the door a bit further. Looking back at the two young boys, who were both asleep in their cribs, you couldn't help but sigh at the awful fact you were going to leave them behind.
Chris Halliwell,even though he was just a little baby, was already attached to you. Aside from his parents, you were the only one he wouldn't fuss around so much while being held. Maybe it was because his future self had done the same thing. When he was twenty-two years old, he had come back from the future to try to warn you and the Halliwell sisters of how his older brother would be turned evil, to which all of you successfully stopped from happening. But it was at the cost of his life and he had died right on his mother's bed in his father's arms, all before his body had faded away from sight. No one trusted him for a while, not even you. But that didn't stop him from falling in love with you. He knew it wasn't right, because after all, you were forty eight in his time.
And of course, there was Wyatt. The sweet little boy you've grown to love ever since he was born. He called you his Auntie Y/N/N. You would almost always be the first one to wake up in the mornings after he did to feed him his favorite kind of cereal. And if his brother was still asleep afterwards, you'd play trucks with him until his mother woke up. You wouldn't see him most days, considering how you were working at the job you had now quit, but it was always the little moments with him and his brother that you cherished.
A smile crept along the ends of your lips as you watched in the moonlight that peeked through the curtains of the window as Wyatt turned his little body around. For a moment, you panicked when you thought he was waking up, but you found yourself feeling relief when you could hear a little snore coming from him.
"I'll miss you guys." You kept your voice to the lowest of whispers, but those words were directed at them. It took everything in you not to turn back around and stay as you adjusted the strap of your backpack on your shoulder and stepped out of the room. You made sure to be quiet about shutting the door before turning around on your heels.
But you found yourself almost jumping three feet in the air when you realized that someone had been standing right outside the door the whole time you were thinking about what you'd be missing. A relieved breath escaped past your lips when you noticed that it was just Victor Bennett; the man you looked at as a father figure ever since his daughters, Phoebe and Piper and their sister, Paige had graciously taken you into their home after a demon had killed your adoptive parents when you were only nineteen.
They let you live with them when they realized the same demon was still alive. He still is, considering how they never got the chance to find it again, but you were going to risk going on your own again.
"You scared me, Victor." You couldn't help but softly chuckle, before you took a good look at the man's face. He seemed like he had tears streaming down his face, while a warm cup of tea sat in his hands. Now, you were concerned. "What's wrong?"
"I can't sleep." He admitted truthfully to you under a mutter. This was expected, as his children were going up against Zankou and more than likely weren't going to make it back. Which is the main reason why Piper's children and you were here in the first place. And now you were going to leave God knows where, leaving him behind as well. "Where are you going, Y/N? It's two in the morning, you should get some rest."
Your mouth parted open as you tried to find the right words to say, but you couldn't really bring yourself to speak. You were twenty four, and the sisters had gotten you ready to bring the world on by yourself. Your heart was breaking just as much as his was over the mere fact that the three women who treated you like one of their own were probably not going to make it back, and as much as you wanted to stay and be there for him and his grandson's, you hated the idea of being burden to him.
You weren't his blooded family, nor were you related to the sisters. You didn't even have powers like they did, so you would've been helpless if the demon who had killed your parents came waltzing into his apartment one day and possibly harm Victor or the boys.
"I need to go. San Francisco isn't the place for me anymore. And besides, if the girls don't make it back, that demon who killed my mom and dad will know and come back for me and he could hurt you, or he could hurt the boys." You told the man part of the truth. He slowly nodded his head, although he hated someone he thought of as one of his own children leaving, he completely understood. You inhaled a deep breath when you felt tears of your own begin to stream down your face. "I'm just a call away if you need anything at all."
You could hardly see in the dark, but you could see Victor's lips stretching into a small smile at what he had heard. "Promise me you'll stay safe, kiddo."
"I will." You made a promise you weren't sure you could really keep, but you sure as hell were going to try your hardest. "Will you call me to let me know.. if the girls are okay, or if they're gone?"
"You bet I will."
You let out a soft sob at those four words as you stepped forward and wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him into a tight hug. He hugged you back, trying his hardest not to let any of the tea he was still holding spill onto you or the floor. His eyes fluttered shut, allowing himself to enjoy the last hug he thought he would ever give you. But just because you were leaving, didn't mean you weren't going to cross paths again.
It was a few moments before you finally pulled away from the hug, your lips stretching into a thin line as you tried not to cry again. "Tell the boys I love them and that I'll miss them."
Victor stayed quiet, only nodded his head at what were you asking him to do. You made his way around him and to the door of the apartment. Your hand wrapped around the door knob, and after letting out a breath, you opened up the door and stepped out. You didn't know where you were going, but you were ready to see where the road took you. You had suitcases in the trunk of your car, filled with your clothes. The backpack on your shoulder, had everything to help you keep a good memory of the Halliwell's, along with Victor and Leo.
This was the start of a whole new life, and although there was a part of you that was scared, you were also excited.

Your name is still Y/N Y/L/N
Youâre twenty four years old
You have lived in the Halliwell Manor with the sisters since you were twenty, no, youâre not magical like them nor are you related, you have just been helping them out until they decided to go up against Zankou, leaving you no choice but to bail.
Youâve actually met Dean once before when you were seventeen in high school. He was your boyfriend for a while until he left to go hunting with his father. You both remember each other very clearly when you cross paths again in the Pilot episode.
Your adoptive parents are deceased, you have no clue who your real parents are or if they are even alive.
You know all about the Supernatural, of course.
You are a Harvelle, but you donât know that yet. Jo is your sister, Ellen is your mother.

One nightmare. All it took was one nightmare to keep Dean awake. He thought that with you being in a much safer place now, everything would be okay. That he would be okay. But that wasn't the case.
Looking over to the right, he realized that he had only slept for a couple of hours after taking notice that the time was just a few minutes past one. He let out a soft groan as he shifted his body around to face you. It was dark, but Dean could tell that you were still asleep by the soft snores that came from you, something that should've given him enough comfort to fall back asleep again, he the man knew without a drink he wasn't going to be able to.
Dean did his best not to wake you as he sat himself up and pushed the covers off of his body, and when he had finally got up onto his feet, he slowly walked over to the door. He kept his arm stretched out so that he wouldn't accidentally bump into anything on the way. There wasn't a window, so no moonlight was shining into the room just to help the man see where everything was and he knew that it'd wake you if he had turned on the lamp that was settled on top of the nightstand.
But he managed. When he had got to the door, he opened it up just enough to slip himself out of the room and into the hallway. He shut the door quietly, before walking further down the hall and straight to the kitchen, where as he inched closer, he found himself growing rather confused when he noticed that the light was on.
He didn't expect anybody to be awake at this hour, especially his little brother, considering how he was an early bird and due to that, he liked to get to sleep earlier. But when Dean stepped into the room, he saw that Sam was sat down at the table with his laptop, a few tabs of different articles were open.
The younger man let his gaze drift away from the screen for a moment and upwards when he heard a pair of footsteps trudging their way into the room. After realizing that it was just his brother, he focused his attention back onto the article he was currently reading; something about how a married couple and their two young children were simply enjoying a camping trip up in Nebraska, but things quickly turned south when the kids went missing and their parents hearts were ripped out. Police say it was an animal attack, but Sam knew it was something else.
"Hey." Dean was the first one to speak up, breaking the silence that was lingering in the air. "What are you doing up?" He asked, making his way to the fridge to get out a bottle of beer. As he did, he couldn't help but take a quick glance at what Sam was looking at. But from where he was standing, he couldn't really see anything.
"I couldn't sleep." Sam mumbled, shutting his laptop to focus on his brother, who was now making his way over to the table. He watched as Dean popped off of the lid of his bottle before taking a long swing. "I was, uh.. worried about Y/N. I didn't realize how bad her condition was until she tried talking earlier." He admitted. "What about you?"
Dean brought the beer back down to the table and reached a hand up to run it down his face, a heavy sigh escaping past his lips. "I was asleep for a couple of hours, but I had a nightmare, so.. here I am." He finally said after a while, dropping his hand down to wrap it around the bottle. "I honestly thought things would get better now that she's here and safe, but I can't stop imagining what Paul did to her and how her own mother didn't even try to stop it."
"I can't either.." Sam admitted to his brother.
"I don't know, man." Dean mumbled, shaking his head as he picked at the label on the beer bottle. It was something he got a habit of doing any time he was feeling nervous or down. "I feel like if I hadn't been such a coward and just fought to stay so that Y/N and I could've gotten her shit packed up, she wouldn't be in this situation right now."
"Dean, you would've gone to jail if you had stayed." Sam tried to be the voice of reason, but his brother only let out a scoff, shaking his head as he brought the beer back up to his lips so he could take another drink. "Can you imagine someone who passed off as this sweet, religious man who everybody in town just thinks he could do no wrong because of the clothes he wears and a woman who would do anything to protect her husband telling the cops that you, Dean Winchester, was beating up your own girlfriend? In case you don't remember, we don't exactly have a great history with the law. You would be in jail and Y/N would still be in an unsafe house."
Dean took a moment to let what his brother was saying sink into his mind. He knew that he was right, you would still be stuck in that house with nobody to get you out of there. And you having brain damage would've been the least of his worries. That bastard could've killed you.
Nodding his head, he silently agreed with his brother before pointing over to the closed laptop. "What were you looking at when I came in?" He questioned in a curious tone.
"Uh.." Sam almost forgot about the case that had caught his interest. He propped his laptop back open, bringing the articles he had found back up before turning it around to show the man sitting across from him. "A married couple enjoying a camping trip with their kids ended up getting their hearts ripped out. The kids on the other hand.."
"Went missing." Dean finished his brother's sentence when his words had trailed off, he managed to figure it out after skimming through the article. "Must be a werewolf, you and mom should go check it out."
"Yeah, totally. I'll talk to her about it in the morning." Sam agreed, nodding his head. And before he could stop himself, he couldn't help but ask, "Do you want to come with us?"
Dean's eyes glanced up from the laptop screen to stare at the younger man, giving him a look that practically said he should've known better. "I would and you know that, but I've got Y/N to take care. And I'm going to need a break from hunting for a while." He said. "You and mom can handle this, and if you really need help call for Cas."
Sam nodded his head in understandment, mentally smacking himself for being so stupid for asking the question. He didn't say anything else as he turned the laptop back to him to further his research on this case. Meanwhile, Dean downed the rest of his beer before standing up and heading over to the trash can, where he tossed the bottle. He went to walk out, but stopped in his tracks to take a look back at his brother.
He could see a hint of sadness in the younger man's facial expressions, but the vibe that he was giving off the most was genuine concern. Letting out a sigh, Dean made his way back to Sam and wrapped his arms around him, pulling him into a gentle hug. "There's a lot of what if questions running through my mind right now, but one question that I know the answer to is that Y/N will be okay." He reassured him. "Stay safe when you go out there."
Sam nodded his head again, and for the first time since everything with your stepfather had gone down, his eyes teared up. "I will." He muttered out a promise.
With that, Dean let him go and walked out of the kitchen, and began making his way back to bed.
~~~
Even after he had fallen asleep an hour after waking up from that nightmare, Dean was still the first to wake up when morning came around. You weren't able wake up until around two in the afternoon, which left your boyfriend to keep coming in to make sure that you were still breathing. He'd wake you, but with how much your head must've still been hurting, he decided against it.
But when Dean came in for a fourth time, that's when you had waken up. And no, it wasn't because of him, it was because of that damn angel who constantly thinks it'd be okay to pop into a room without warning.
Dean found himself jumping backwards when he took notice of the all too familiar figure. And it wasn't long until he found himself getting annoyed. "Damn it, Cas!" He hissed out in a whispered tone, not wanting to wake you. "Not only are you scaring the living hell out of me, but you're spying on my girlfriend while she's sleeping? That's too much."
"I'm sorry, Dean." Castiel said in a loud enough voice to wake you. "I just wanted to make sure how she was doing."
"Dude, be quiet." Dean tried to shush the angel, but to his dismay, it was too late. You stirred around in the bed, letting out a tired groan before finally opening up your eyes. You looked around the room to see the both men standing still and staring at you. You could feel your stomach growling in hunger as you reached an arm up to place a hand on your head, a pitiful whimper escaping past your lips when you could feel the dull ache coming back to you. "Great. Just, great." Dean muttered in annoyance, throwing daggers to Castiel. "This is so.. great. She was really peaceful sleeping and now that she's awake she's feeling pain, thanks to you."
"I'm sorry, Dean.." The angel apologized once more, but what he said next annoyed the Winchester even more. "But I really think you get some food made for her. Unless it was a bear in her stomach, I think she's hungry."
"Awe, really? I didn't notice." Dean let his sarcasm shine through for just a moment, before motioning with his hand for the angel to go away. "Away with you." That was enough of a sign for the angel to know that he wasn't wanted around at the moment. When Castiel vanished from sight, Dean stepped over to the bed and sat himself down onto it, a loving smile stretched across his lips when he was able to focus his attention onto you. "Good morning, sweetheart."
"G-.." You started to say good morning back to the man, but after the first failed attempt, you decided to stop trying. Instead, you snuggled back under the covers and turned onto your side. The fact you were having a hard time with your speech was beginning to take a toll on you.
Dean let a frown stretch across his lips and crawled right up next to you. He brought his hand up to your head to give it a gentle massage, before leaning forward to press a kiss to your forehead. Â He let them linger there for a moment as he thought of all the possible ways to help you with your speech.
The lobby to the hospital was full of patients waiting to be checked in. But concerning your conditions when Dean had carried you in, screaming for help, doctors and nurses had rushed you to the Emergency room, where they hooked you up with an IV bag. Fluids of morphine to help with the pain for when you woke up pumped through.
They x-rayed your whole body, finding that no bones were broken, but you would be extremely bruised for the next week or two. What they were concerned about was your brain. You were knocked pretty hard in the head. So everyone, including the Winchester brothers and Castiel had waited for you to wake up so the doctors could do some tests.
It took you almost two hours to finally rise from unconciousness. But when you did, you found yourself having trouble processing things. You could hear what the doctors were saying, but you didn't know what to say, or how to say anything.
"Ms. Y/L/N, are you feeling any pain at all?" One of the doctor's asked, your eyes slowly trailed over to the doctor. It took a while for the words to process inside of your mind. Everything was slow, your brain hurt, your entire head was throbbing, you opened your mouth to speak, but nothing was coming out. Your voice wasn't gone, you just didn't know how to pronounce a simple no. "Honey, talk to us."
Dean stood outside of the room you were in, his brother and Castiel standing behind him with curiosity running through their veins as they wondered what was going on. The door was shut, blocking any sound that anybody was making. He looked through the small squared window on the door, allowing him to peep into the room. He noticed that your mouth was moving. It was moving slowly. Confusion had spread across your face as you looked around the room, the two doctor's that were in the room with you glanced at each other all before one of them turned to the door, stepping out of the room to explain to the three men what was going on.
When the door shut behind the doctor, that's when Dean began asking questions. "What's going on with her, doc? Is she okay?" He asked. Genuine worry sounded in his voice as he watched as the doctor's face fell into a bit of sadness.
"She will be okay." The doctor explained to three men as she nodded her head. "She has bruising along her stomach and her side, but no broken bones. Our biggest concern though..." Her words trailed off. She didn't want to worry your boyfriend. She knew this would be a hard thing to deal with.
"What is it?" Dean asked, his patience was running thin. He just wanted to know what was going on with you.
The doctor inhaled a deep breath, all before she spoke. "Her stepfather kicked her pretty hard in the head. It damaged her brain." She said. The brothers and Castiel glanced at each other. Each one of them were worried, but they still focused their attention onto what the doctor was saying. "It's not permanent. It'll heal. But it could take months up to a year or two for her to get better. She is currently having trouble with her speech, the things people say to her, she is having a hard time processing. And you might have to teach her the things she had already learned before all over again, starting with walking, then writing, and then swimming and so on. Do not let her handle any knives or anything that is sharp until she is one hundred percent better."
Dean nodded his head at this information. He could feel his heart heavy in his chest as he tried his hardest to breathe. He looked back through the window and into the room. He could see your blank face as you stared at the wall. You had tears running down your face from the frustration and the confusion you were dealing with. You didn't know anything, any word you tried to get out, you struggled with. You couldn't even say your own name.
It was hard for Dean to see you like this. He wished there was some way to take all of this away, but he knew. He knew there wasn't anything he could do.
"How long is she going to have to stay here, doc?" Dean could hear his brother ask a question that was stuck in the back of everyone's mind.
"A week." The doctor said. "Just until her bruising is a bit better."
~~~
The entire week you were in the hospital, Dean had stayed. He had gone back to the bunker that first day to drop off his brother and Castiel and to pack up clothing for the next few days all before heading back to the hospital, where he would be spending the nights with you.
You didn't say anything to him. You either just slept, or stared at the wall. You couldn't bare yourself to eat actual food. You couldn't even say what you wanted to eat and that frustrated you.
So the doctor's would come up with a small bowl of Applesauce and some water with a straw.
The first time trying to eat your Applesauce, as you tried to put the spoon into your mouth, your hands were too shaky and you got Applesauce all over your hospital gown.
You fluttered your eyes shut and let out a sigh all before you tried again, just to make more of a mess. You dropped your spoon in the bowl in frustration all before balling your hand into a tight fist. You let out a frustrated cry, causing Dean to look away from the tv show that he was watching. He pushed himself out of the recliner that he was sleeping in and made his way over to you.
"Sweetheart, it's okay." Dean reassured you as he grabbed a napkin from the tray the doctor had brought up. He used it to wipe up the Applesauce you had spilt onto yourself all before throwing it into the tiny trash can near your bed. He then reached for the spoon and lifted it to your mouth. You looked up at him as though he was crazy. You weren't a baby. And it seemed he got your look as he spoke up again. "I want to help you. I'm going to help you get through this, I just-... need you to let me help you."
Your eyebrows furrowed as you allowed the words to slowly sink into your mind. It took a couple minutes, before you slowly nodded your head, opening your mouth for him to feed you.
So he did, he fed you the entire bowl of Applesauce and helped you take sips of your water. He stayed close to you the rest of the time, helping you drink some water all until you fell back asleep.
That's how it was all week. But he couldn't really help you with taking showers. That was your doctor's job. But he helped you with everything else and he planned on helping you every day after you checked out of the hospital.

You should have been used to this by now. The pain that you were feeling, you should have known that it would never go away unless you had informed your boyfriend of five years, Dean Winchester and his brother, Sam of what your stepfather was doing to you weekly. It was once a week that your stepfather would beat you to the point where he would leave you bruised. When your old bruises would begin to fade away, he would make sure that there were new ones.
Paul was your stepfather's name. Paul Y/L/N.
Now, Paul wasn't always this way. Of course, he was mentally abusive two months after your mother had started dating him. That's all he ever was. And he was only mentally abusive towards her. And even though he was such an evil man, he still believed in God and how a couple should never live together unless they are married.
You were just barely packing up to move into the bunker your boyfriend and his brother lived in. But of course, all of your plans came crumbling down when Paul had walked into yours and your mother's life.
Your mother was blind, didn't see what he was doing to her and even though you kept trying to get her to see what he was doing to your mother, she still wouldn't see. She wouldn't even listen and they ended up getting married.
That's when he began getting physical. With the both of you. Because he knew he had you both trapped inside of the house you once called a home. You couldn't leave with him in the house, not even to spend an hour with Dean, who began asking questions of what was going down at your house, wondering why you both couldn't see each other. But you brushed it off with a simple lie, knowing that you couldn't tell him anything because you knew it would just anger Paul more when he found out about what all you have told your boyfriend.
Dean was tough, he was protective. Especially when it came to you. Which is why you couldn't tell him anything.
Who knows what would he would do to your stepfather. Or worse, what your stepfather would do to Dean if he threw the first punch. Paul would play victim, accuse Dean of abusing you and have him thrown into jail no matter what you say to try and get him out.
You subconsciously ran the tips of your cold fingers along the big bruise on your side as you entered the bunker. Your mother and Paul had left the house to go to dinner. They would have taken you with, but you put your best acting skills to the test and pretended that you were sick just to get out of going. You knew it would be a risk, but when they had left, you snuck out of the house and ran all the way to the bunker. It was thirty minutes away by foot, but you didn't care. You just needed to see Dean.
As you made your way down the stairs that lead to the map room, you noticed that almost all of the lights were off except for the library. You furrowed your brows as you made your way into the room. The brothers should have been in Dean's mancave by now, watching the Sunday football game and enjoying a couple of beers, so you wondered who was in the library by now.
You made your way further into the room, but stopped in your tracks when you heard a familiar voice speak your name. Although it was familiar, you still jumped when your boyfriends mother, Mary Winchester, had spoke up behind you.
You placed your hand over your beating heart, relieved to know that it wasn't anybody else, knowing very well that Paul and your mother, who's name is Blayke, could've followed you here without you even realizing.
"I'm sorry, I just-.." You found yourself choking up on your words as you let out a breath. Mary gave you a concerned look, stepping closer towards you as your shoulders just started to shake as you sobbed. "I'm sorry." You repeated, covering your face as the tears dripped down your face.
Mary's concern turned to worry as she helped you sit down into one of the chairs. That's when she noticed the bruise on the right side of your face, just below your eye. She noticed that you had tried covering it up with make up, but the make up didn't do you justice, which she was glad about. "Oh, sweetheart." She clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth as she gently brushed her fingers along your bruise. You flinched at the touch. "I'm going to get the boys, alright? You just stay here."
So you did just that, watching as she headed out of the library. It's not like you had anywhere else to go. Or that you wanted to go anywhere else. You wanted to be at the bunker, where the safety was in Dean's arms.
It was a few minutes until all three Winchester's came into the library, with Castiel, your angel friend.
"Baby.." You turned your head you heard Dean speak up. He was making his way around the table and to you as you stood onto your feet. He engulfed you into his arms, allowing you to nuzzle your face into the crook of his neck. "I missed you so much. Are you okay?" He questioned you as he pulled away. He cupped your face and examined the bruise on your face. His mother wasn't kidding when she told the boys how bad of a bruise it was. "What happened, who did this to you?"
You inhaled a deep breath as you played with the bracelet around your wrist. You cursed yourself for not covering up your bruise better, but maybe this was a sign. If all four of them knew about what your stepfather was doing, they could all help.
"Paul." You admitted. You watched as Dean's face fell into anger.
âPaul?" Sam repeated the name, curiosity rising in his voice. "As in the man your mom married?"
Biting down on your bottom lip, you nodded your head yes. You heard Dean sigh loudly, bringing his fingers up to his temple to massage it as Castiel came around the table, bringing two fingers to your forehead, he healed you, easing you from the pain your stepfather had given you.
"Sweetheart, why don't you come live with us?" Dean questioned. You turned down moving in with him once before because of Paul's beliefs, but he never knew why.
You shook your head, sitting yourself down onto the table. "I can't.." You said. Dean raised a brow up, wondering why you couldn't move in with him. "Paul believes that it's wrong to move in when you're not married to the person you are with. If I go back home to pack my bags, he'll just start beating me."
"Paul believes in that, yet he's an abusive son of a bitch?!" Dean's voice was growing angrier now as his hands balled up into fists. You could almost see the fire in his eyes. "No, you and I are both going back to your house and we are packing up your things. I will fight him if I have too."
You opened up your mouth to stop your boyfriend, but it was too late as you watched him march out of the library, heading to the garage. You let out a sigh, saying goodbye to the other three all before following Dean out to the garage as you hoped that goodbye wouldn't be for forever.
~~~
Dean pulled the Impala up your house, you could see that your mother and Paul were now standing outside on the front lawn. A look of pure anger was stretched across Paul's face, but that didn't seem to stop Dean from quickly getting out of the car and heading up to the man. A gasp escaped your mouth as you watched him throw a punch directly at his jaw, sending him to the ground.
You got yourself out of the Impala, even though Dean had told you to stay in the car while he went and got all of your stuff out of the house as the Winchester dropped down onto your stepfather and continuously decking the older man in the face. You screamed for him to stop, all though you wanted so badly for him to continue.
You grabbed ahold of Dean's arm and pulled him to his feet. He was breathing heavily from the anger that had been expressed. Your eyes trailed up to Paul's face as he got himself up from the ground. He wiped at his nose, which Dean had made bloody from the constant punches he threw at the man.
"What the hell is your problem, son?" Paul asked, acting as if he had done nothing wrong to anger Dean.
"No, what the hell is your problem?!" Dean yelled at the man, stepping closer towards him. "You laid your hands on my girlfriend, Blayke's blooded daughter. You abused her and left her bruised all over her body!" He pointed out the things that the older man had done to you. You didn't see it coming when He reached his arms out and grabbed Paul by the collar, pulling him dangerously close to him, his eyes burned into his. "And for that, she is coming to live with me, whether you like it or not."
Blayke stepped into the fight, stopping it before it could get any worse as she pushed the men apart. "That's enough, Dean Winchester!" She said. What she said next left you shock. "You're the one who has been constantly beating at our daughter, so do not blame my husband for this!"
"Are you hearing yourself, Blayke?" Dean found himself growing angry with your mother now. He would never lay a hand on you. You and his family knew that he loved you too much to ever hurt you. "Y/N has told me everything! How this bastard" He pointed over towards Paul, "mentally abused you, and then had started physically abusing the both of you when the two of you got married. He's gotten into your fucking head!"
"Nobody has gotten into my head." Blayke said, crossing her arms over her chest as she blatantly lied to protect her abusive husband. You felt tears welling up in your eyes at what she was saying, you couldn't believe it. "I know what you do to my daughter and I do not want you around my house. You come near the three of us again, I will call the cops on your ass. Trust me."
In that moment, you felt your heart sink to your stomach as Dean turned his head back to you. You knew his history with cops, how he constantly got arrested for trying to save the world. But nobody knew that he was a hero. They'd believe your mother and Paul over him at any time. You felt yourself being jerked back to your mom and your stepfather as you watched Dean walk away slowly, as if he didn't want to go, but he had no choice.
You screamed for him to turn around as Paul began dragging you back into the house you didn't want to be trapped in anymore. Your vision blurred with tears as you kicked at the man, punched at him, crying for Dean to come back. This was not what you wanted.
Everything felt like slow motion as you heard the front door slam and the sound of the Impala's engine roaring to life all before it drove away. You felt yourself being dropped to the ground all before you got yourself to your feet and began running to the door. But Paul grabbed ahold of you, dragging you to your room, where you were going to get another beating for getting Dean involved in the mess your stepfather had created.
~~~
It had been an hour of fighting with both your mom and your stepfather, you were screaming at your mom for being the lying bitch that she was, telling her that Paul had gotten inside of her head because that's exactly what happened. And it only angered Paul more as he continued to beat at you.
You let out a cry of pain as you laid on your bedroom floor, holding onto your stomach as he continued to kick at it. They weren't just any kicks, they were kicks out of pure hatred. They were hard and bruising, making you feel as though every bone in your body was broken. You found yourself screaming for Castiel, praying that he could hear you as you curled yourself up into a ball, sobs wracking through your body.
"Oh, shut the fuck up."
Paul practically spit out the words as he did something he wasn't thinking straight of; he kicked you hard in the head. Maybe he was thinking, though, considering how he continued to kick you until you were completely knocked out. All signs of your body not moving as your whole world went black.
And as though it wasn't an issue, the man left your room, doing the mistake of slamming the door shut behind him. That's when Castiel had appeared.
The angel looked down at you. "Y/N." He spoke your name in a whispered tone, hoping you could hear his voice. He hoped you would make movement. But when you didn't, he crouched down and pressed two fingers against the crook of your neck. You were still breathing, but you were unconscious and there was no way he would be able to heal something so severe, considering how his powers were weak at the moment.
So, he did what he could by teleporting you into the backseat of the Impala that was three houses down from yours.
The Winchester brothers both turned to look at you. Dean's heart broke at the sight of you. He had gone to the police station to tell the cops everything, and then went back to the bunker to get his brother and Castiel. He was going to come back and get you with the help of the other two men. He didn't even think this would have happened to you while he did all of this.
"She's still breathing." Castiel informed the brothers when he saw the worried looks stretched across their faces. "But we need to get to the hospital and fast."
Dean nodded his head, turning around slowly in his seat, he gripped tight onto the wheel and let out a breath to keep himself from crying as he began driving, heading the hospital where you would be taken care of. He just hoped it wouldn't be too late.
He somehow felt a bit relieved when he saw red and blue flashing lights appear and a police car turning into the neighborhood, heading to your house to arrest the cruel man you called your stepfather.
