So, a lot of you have been requesting a part two of this story so here it is. It wonât be as long as the last one, just so you know. Iâve been skimming the web for pictures that match the image of Stephan Vladislav in my head and this is what I came up with. Just imagine him with black hair and the same clothes I described him with in âLadies and Gentlemen: Himâ. Enjoy!
It wasnât a challenge figuring out Adrien and Chat Noir were one in the same.
Honestly, the parallels were obvious. The selfishness, the inability to take anything seriously, and not to mention the same whiny and annoying voice.
Stephan didnât really pay the heroes any mind before discovering Bratdrienâs identity. He thought that it was a miracle that Ladybug was at least mature about fights and handling the public. Where as Adrien treated heroing as a means to be a celebrity. Because it wasnât enough that all of Paris viewed him a ray sunshine.
The ravenette liked fame, but he was a model. Not a hero with the weight of an entire city on their shoulders.
He didnât think Adrien would stoop this low.
What is he saying?
He saw it coming a mile away.
The Russian boy leaned closer to the door of Marinetteâs bedroom to get a clearer view of what that mangy alley cat was telling her.
The two were partners on an assigned project from Bustier about the heroes of Paris in honor of Heroâs Day. It was due in two weeks and Marinette suggested they should get started with it and invited him over.
âHey, Princess? I donât think you should associate yourself with that Stephan guy. He sounds like bad news,â Chat said in a voice Stephan was sure he thought sounded concerned. The ravenette did his best to remain calm and in control.
âStephan? He seems so nice. He defends me whenever a certain someone tries to pull their little tricks,â Marinette rose to Stephanâs defense immediately. Said boy felt his heart flutter warmly. Even in the face of a hero, beloved by all of Paris (that wouldnât last long if Stephan could help it!) she was able to stand up for him.
His affection for the Asian girl grew.
âBut he caused Lilaâs akuma a week ago. Not to mention heâs been bullying a kid named Adrien. How can you feel ok with hanging out with someoneâs bully?â Adrien asked in his same trademark disappointed voice. Stephan rolled his eyes. As if there werenât other obvious ways to reveal your identity. Who ever considered the blonde would make a good hero had to be a senile old man or something.
âOh really?â The Russian was momentarily surprised at the disdainful tone the blunetteâs voice took, âIf your so worried about akumas, then why do you never complain when Chloe went around being the primary cause of akumanizations? Yes sheâs gotten better, but that doesnât change the fact that Adrien was friendly with her back when she was a bully. So did he ever think about how we would feel when ever he hung out with her. And donât even get me started on Lila. Adrien wouldnât know a manipulator even if it slapped him in the face. For someone whoâs never been bullied, heâs quick to force everyone to feel sorry for them.â
Stephan could feel the surprise coming from Chat as Marinette unknowingly insulted Adrien to his face. On the other hand, a smirk creeped onto his face. It seems Bratdrien had unknowingly created skeletons in his closet even before the Russian had moved to Paris.
It was perfect.
It would be too suspicious if all the problems with Adrien started up when Stephan enrolled in Francois Dupont. If he brought up unflattering things Adrien did in the past when he wasnât present, it would be a much more believable and clever way of getting rid of him.
The stupid cat continued his âhigher than thouâ speech disguised as a lecture, âI donât know what Stephanâs been telling you but Adrienâs right. Making a bad guy suffer wonât change them into a good guy.â
By this point, Stephan prepared to enter the room until Marinette said something that made him stop.
âThen, why are you and Ladybug fighting Hawkmoth?,â the Russian heard her say accusingly.
âWhat?â Came the alley catâs choked response.
âIf making a bad guy suffer doesnât work to make them a good guy, than why are you still fighting Hawkmoth?â The fashion designer repeated again.
âW-what? Because heâs a terrorist! And if we donât stop him, heâll just continue making everyone miserable!â Stephan could tell that Adrien was beginning to falter.
âThatâs exactly the case with bullies,â Marinette shut him down with certainty.
âBullies arenât Hawkmoth or Mayura. Thatâs different.â
âIs it though? Adrien told me that exposing Lila was a bad idea. And now look what happened; she got me expelled, ruined my and my friends reputations in class, and turned them against us. I should have never listened to a person who has no experience with dealing with bullies,â the Asian girl was clearly getting frustrated with the conversation.
Stephan was proud of his soon to be girlfriend. When he first met her, she was hesitant and only kept her head down when the class accused her of what the Italian girl told them. It seemed the âgirls night outsâ that Chloe and Alya dragged her to were doing wonders for her confidence.
âAdrienâs new to the social life. You have no right to talk about him like heâs the bad guy,â For someone meant to be a hero, he let his emotions and personal problems guide his actions.
âThan he has no business in being disappointed with me whenever I defend myself. And please, itâs been a year and a half since Adrien attended public school. If he still doesnât understand social situations by now, itâs because he doesnât want to learn,â Marinette dismissed Chatâs defense of the blonde.
âHow could you say that?â Adrienâs voice was judgmental.
Marinette sighed, âEven if Adrien is an enabler, I donât want him to get bullied. Iâll try asking Stephan about it. Just leave, Chat.â Stephan swore quietly in Russian. He had taken to verbally tearing Adrien apart in private and even worse when they were around others. Of course, he did it subtly, there was no doubt Marinette might pick up on it if he did it again. Looks like heâll have to find another tactic to make Bratdrien miserable. Not including ruining Chat Noirâs reputation.
And he knew just how to do it.
When the leather clad hero (thankfully) left, Stephan waited for two more minutes before entering Marinetteâs bedroom to avoid her suspicion of eavesdropping.
The Russian was relieved when the Asian girl didnât bring up what Chat had told her. But Adrien was going down.
After the class president stunt, the model thought that the blonde boy would have enough sense not to mess with Stephan Vladislav. He had no idea who taught the blonde model to be this pathetic but it truly was a shame.
Stephan knew it didnât have to be like this. He never wanted it to be like this. He didnât want to have to shove Adrien into the dirt like the miscreant he was, but he was making it too easy.
A part of him was flattered. The Agreste heir saw him as that much of a threat that he had to use his hero persona in a failed attempt to get Marinette to side with his civilian counterpart.
He had a plan. He and Marinette finished a good portion of the projects and parted ways. He made sure to behave like a gentleman, a side he only saved for her to combat Chat Noirâs opinion on him and make the bluenette doubt the leather clad hero.
The two just blended together as the designer genuinely enjoyed Stephanâs company. She felt her heart flutter and cheeks warm whenever he smiled at her. She never experienced any of this with Adrien. He even earned Tikkiâs seal of approval.
Later, the young Vladislav surfed the internet and leveled every media sight he could find. He even ventured into the wasteland that was tabloid blogs for anything he could use to discredit Chat Noir. Through his internet dive, he found one blog; The Trashiness of Chat Noir. The userâs name was âNoir-saltâ. On it was countless videos and clips of the leather clad boy making jokes and goofing off during fights. Following was pictures of the alley cat flirting with a clearly uncomfortable Ladybug. Getting into her space, kissing her hand, and even the kiss from âOblivioâ.
Stephanâs face was nearly folded in two from the grin that played on his lips. The blog itself wasnât popular, but that was about to change today. He quickly copied the link of the blog and opened his Instagram and Twitter accounts. He then created new posts with the link attached to them and published it for the world to see.
He even posted them in the comments in one of Alyaâs most recent post. Opening up the Face-to-Face website with Nadia Chamack, he submitted the blog for daily news under his name. The combination of Chatâs less than stellar behavior paired with the fact that Stephan Vladislav himself submitted would be too hard to ignore.
The fallout was epic.
The news spread like wild fire. Nadia broadcasted it to all of Paris. Television screens analyzed and ripped apart Chat Noir to shreds. The whole scandal resulted in Parisians coming out and explaining how they each suffered Chat Noirâs incompetence. Mr. Rainer in particular told the local news about how the leather clad boy pestered him often about how he felt. Implying heavily if he felt any negative emotions and sulking when he replied that he felt fine.
This sparked city ride outrage. How could a hero want the citizens he swore to protect fall victim to Hawkmoth?
Said villain was having a field day with the negative emotions that swallowed Paris like a tidal wave. Several akumas came out of the blow up, all of them with the same single minded goal; vengeance against Chat Noir who they deemed to be a false hero.
A slight feeling of momentary guilt crept up his spine as he saw how heart broken Alya and Nino looked. They all sat in the Bakery along with two other friends; Luka and Kagami.
Luka strummed soothing melodies on his guitar to calm everyoneâs tense nerves. Kagami appeared agitated as she continued scrolling through the blog which started it all. Nino was calming down a furious Alya who looked ready to burn everything down if someone so much as blinked at her the wrong way. Chloe raved on and on about how she knew all along that the âmangy cat wasnât good enough for Ladybug. Ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous!â
They were all targets in Hawkmothâs firing range.
Stephan wrapped a comforting arm around Marinette who seemed down in the dumps ever since the news aired. He supposed it made sense. The way Chat Noir spoke to the bluenette seemed way to familiar for it to only have happened once. The Russian assumed that Marinette felt betrayed by someone who she considered a friend.
Little did he know how deep the betrayal went. Marinette knew the feline hero had his flaws, but didnât they all? Except, with all the evidence and the publicâs negative opinion, the weight of Chatâs behavior hit her like a freight train.
The Asian girl felt like she had been doused in cold water. She leaned into Stephanâs embrace, the only form of comfort she could find. She considered Chat to be her best friend, one in a million. Sure, the way he professed his love for her on patrol and on the battle field was grating on her nerves. Not to mention him declaring that they were soulmates because of their miraculous.
So it had been an absolute shock to hear just how much people had been suffering from Chatâs inability to take anything seriously. Injuries, destroyed house, and even in the rare instances: death.
She shivered at how awful in must have been to watch civilians die, even if it was just a few. No wonder all of Paris was furious at the leather clad boy.
Her musings were interrupted with a loud crash located from outside and several screams.
As it turns out, a seven year old boy who looked up to Chat Noir felt so betrayed and hurt that he wanted to learn what else the cat was hiding behind his charismatic persona. Thus, he became the akuma âHeads and Tailsâ because there are two sides to every person.
The child revealed all that he could. Projections were scattered all across Paris displaying each of the heroâs misdeeds: Chat Noirâs childish behavior, how he left during fights whenever Ladybug wouldnât cater to his tantrums, and how much said spotted heroine struggled to defeat more of the stronger akumas the moth villain created.
Any slack the citizens wanted to give the leather wearing hero was subsequently destroyed, especially since Heads and Tailsâ had projector like powers and broadcasted the past events for everyone and their mother to see.
But their was one particular clip that made everyone in the bakeryâs hearts stop. They were currently outside after having followed the noise of the first crash the akuma made.
âThatâs Marinetteâs room!â Alya screamed in horror.
The projector portrayed a very familiar scene to Marinette. When her room was destroyed by Baby Augustâs akuma. And Chat just standing there trying to get a kiss from Ladybug. Everyone watching was horrified. They knew it was possible the Chat Noir wasnât aware of some of the injuries or deaths he may have caused but to see one happening in front him and focus on flirting with Ladybug who was clearly trying to do her job?
Luka and Nino were in complete shock, Alya and Chloe looked at the projection in enraged disbelief, Kagami as well as Marinetteâs parents looked ready to throw down, and Marinette looked like a deer in headlights.
Stephan was furious. He would make sure that Adrien would never see the light of day ever again.
He swore it.
The aftermath of the akuma had left people grumbling about the mangy alley cat. Celebrities made their disapproval known, especially Jagged Stone who had blasted the feline hero in his last concert and how dare he put his honorary niece in danger.
Coincidentally, the Leather clad boy was no where to be seen. But Stephan knew that Adrienâs reputation as Chat was beyond repair and was most likely waiting for the storm to pass like the cowardly waste of space he was.
The Russian boy enjoyed everyone moment when someone for their class would make a jeer about the leather wearing hero and watching the blonde model wilt in on himself whenever someone else added in their two cents.
Lila made a whole spectacle about the ordeal. âPoor Ladybugâ and âI told her Chat Noir was bad news and that I would have made a better partner!â
Little did she know her grip on the class was slowly wavering courtesy of Stephan.
He had decided to take a round about approach to dismantling the liar rather than outright laying the evidence down. Knowing her, sheâd probably say it was fabricated. Knowing the class, theyâd be gullible enough to believe it.
He started with Alya. Whenever Lila mentioned her many âcelebrity connectionsâ and how she could âtotally introduce you to them. They see me as family,â Stephan would pull some strings to get his friends to meet some.
The ravenette casually brought up that it would be a good idea for Alya to start another blog for her reporting. Itâs always a good idea to have multiple for when she applied to colleges.
âYeah, I have been thinking about it for a while. But what would I report? Iâm so used to akuma fights, everything else just seems so stale compared to that,â Alya admitted.
âWhy not a few celebrities and debunking articles? I can get you in contact with some,â Stephan offered as ran his hands through his curly black hair.
âNo way. Thatâll make me feel like Iâm using you. Besides Marinette already helped the Ladyblog by getting me my first interview with Ladybug. I want to try this on my own,â Alya explained while scrolling through the new blog she was creating.
âWord on the street is countless news stations are fighting tooth and nail to get you to intern with them. Iâm sure they can supply you with what you need. And since they are doing so because of your talent, it would be less of you using me and more of me giving you a little nudge,â he finished with a smirk.
And thatâs exactly what he did. He teamed up with Marinette to convince Alya to start up another blog and except a summer internship at a local news station.
Since Clara Nightingale adored Marinette and her friends, she easily agreed to an interview when Stephan reached out to her. The interview was a hit and âA Scoop of Parisâ, Alyaâs new blog for Paris related news, took off.
With Nino, it was the same thing. Adam Rachad, a well known Parisian director and music producer, had seen Ninoâs popular website, Turtle Pictures and wanted to extend a favor and collaborate with him. Stephan contacted him with Nino present and organized phone call with Nino present. When the glasses wearing boy sealed the deal, he gave the model the biggest hug.
Chloe was more complicated. While the blonde female was still into business, it wasnât a secret to Stephan that she wanted her motherâs attention. So, the Russian boy met and spoke to the Style Queen at her next fashion show displaying her new summer coming line. It was still April, but it might has well have been summer due to the warm weather.
At first, the Fashion Queen was skeptical about letting her daughter model like the young Vladislav had suggested, he heavily implied that Chloe had the summer looks, not to mention the fact that she bore a similar resembling to Audrey herself could make the world go wild.
Chloeâs first photoshoot happened a week after. The camera just loved her. When #QueenChloeBourgeois and #ModelQueenBourgeois began trending on Twitter, Audrey congratulated Chloe (using her real name) and called her exceptional for the second time, the addressed blonde shed a few tears.
She bought a large graphic camera setup as her way of say thanks without thanking him along with a note that said: âNow I know for sure that youâre good enough Dupain-Cheng. Go get her Vlad.â
Stephanâs cheeks reddened at the implication but he had to admit that it felt good to have the best friend stamp of approval.
It wasnât even a few days before Lila started her bragging again. This time about exotic restaurants around Paris and the celebrities she ate with.
In retaliation, Stephan took his friends out to eat at a luxury restaurant across town. He assured them that he would be paying when their concern about expenses were brought up. And they best part? It was his own money. Because of his talent with a camera, he received many internships every time they moved before coming to France, so he amassed a lot of wealth on his own. He may be rich but he also enjoyed being independent. Which was more than he could say for Adrien.
The food was exquisite. Alya and Chloe made sure to take as many photos of the place. Alya for her blog, and Chloe to shove it in Lila and her sheepsâ faces.
They didnât get to meet a celebrity but seeing Marinette so happy and starstruck was worth. After all, he planned to take her here more often when they hopefully began dating, but he still had yet to ask her.
At first, he had only done this to slowly expose Lila for the fraud that she was, but as he continued, he realized that he enjoyed making the others happy. Before coming to France, Stephan was selfish, manipulative, confident, and cared only about himself and his goals. The only exceptions were his parents.
He was still selfish and manipulative, but he was willing to used those traits to fight for people he cared about. Not that he would ever say it out loud.
Anything Lila had claimed she could do or had done Stephan had done ten times over. So much so that even the sycophantic cult began to notice. The Italian was so busy sharing her stories that she hadnât noticed the way several faces would twist into slight annoyance and discomfort.
And thatâs exactly how they felt. They all saw the pictures of Stephan and the others. How could they not when they were blowing up on social media? Seeing their careers take off while they waited for Lila to introduce them to celebrities she had been bragging about for over a year. It made them bitter and resent her.
What was the point of telling them about her âamazing lifeâ if she couldnât even prove it? They all stewed while they listened to Ms. Mendeleievâs lecture about the human ears and hearing until Rose raised her hand.
âCan you get tinnitus from being to close to an airplane engine?â The question sounded innocent enough.
The purple haired teacher turned to the pixie blonde before raising an eyebrow and answering her inquiry, âNo. Tinnitus is a ringing in the ear. If you were to be exposed to an air plane engine youâd go deaf.â
It was like a fog had been lifted.
After class, Ms. Bustierâs students researched everything Lila told them. Every grand trip, tales of celebrities, every award. Part of them didnât want to do this. They didnât want to believe that their golden ticket was lying to them. But with all the talk and no action, it aroused their suspicion.
They found nothing. Nothing at all.
It didnât take long for them to come running back to the others they had isolated from the class, but they didnât react the way theyâd hoped. Marinette and Nino accepted their apologies but made it clear that they werenât going to be friends again. Alya and Chloe didnât bother to hide their resentment and held a grudge against the class. Stephan never cared much about them and never made an emotional connection, so he was unbothered.
But it was obvious that the group had left them behind. They all were reaching new heights while the students of Bustierâs class were left to pick up the pieces of their dreams. Not before ripping into the liar in front of the entire school the next day.
Adrien tried to meekly defend Lila. She was just looking for some friends. The blonde saw no need to isolate the Italian the way they did. She would end up miserable and alone.
Stephan snorted before asking slyly why Adrien would defend someone who had been actively harming and manipulating his âfriendsâ. As expected, the clueless sheep immediately got on Adrienâs case. Said model only backed down when several classmates began questioning their friendship.
Pfft. The young Vladislav opened up the class group chat on his spare phone. He had found Alixâs phone lying around and used it to invite his anonymous account into the chat group. He quickly sent an audio recording and waited for the fireworks.
Notification bells dinged throughout the classroom asynchronously. Each student reached into their pockets, desks, and backpacks for their phones and confusion crept onto their faces as they saw the recording anonymous user had sent.
âDoes anyone know who this is?â Mylene asked the gathered students.
âNot sure. I donât think anyone in this class is anonymous,â Alix answered.
âThere is a 67% chance that this is a hacker. The other 33% are unknown,â Max was as statistical as always as he pushed up his glasses.
âWell, letâs see what it is! It canât hurt right?â Sabrina piped up as she pressed play.
Total silence filled the room as Adrienâs voice was heard. The room had dropped several degrees when they heard the blonde admitting to knowing Lila was a liar. Not to mention gaslighting Marinette into staying quiet.
It was the recording from when Stephan had first threatened the blonde model. He cut out the threats of course.
When the recording finished, dirty looks, glares, and eyes of betrayel landed on the Agreste heir who had paled dramatically.
There was a beat of silence before everyone began screaming in unison. How could Adrien just stand their and watch as Lila lied to them? Said blonde tried to defend himself but it became increasingly clear that the class wasnât having it. Alix declared her friendship with Adrien over, the others following suit.
Stephan and the others in the back just watched as the chaos unravel like a ball of yarn. Ms. Bustier finally arrived and silenced the classroom to begin the dayâs lesson.
Throughout the lecture, students occasionally threw glares in Adreinâs direction. He did his level best not to make eye contact with anyone.
No one saw the rougish smile that Stephan wore. He had warned the blonde to stay out of his way. Had he listened, the Russian wouldnât have had to make him miserable. Thatâll teach him.
Meanwhile, Adrien was going through the hell Stephan created for him.
First, Lila was exposed as a liar. He felt sorry for her. Then some anonymous account revealed that he knew of the Italians lies. Everyone was angry at him for remaining silent. What would they know? He just didnât want her to get akumatized. He just knew it was Stephan who had done it. It was only the two of them in the hallway and Stephanâs threats were cut out, only incriminating Adrien.
His father was still furious for letting Nicolas Vladislav claim Marinette as his intern. If only Stephan had stayed out of the way. Now Gabriel was barely even talking to him.
He couldnât even enjoy being Chat Noir anymore to cheer himself up. After the fallout that destroyed his reputation, he received backlash from every prominent website. He couldnât even go out on patrol without someone glaring at him and spitting hateful comments. And yet again, it was all Stephanâs fault. He never once considered himself to be at fault. After all, it was Ladybug who refused him.
And when he had tried to visit Marinette as Chat to try and remove the cotton from her eyes, she insulted him as Adrien and as Chat Noir at the same time! It was so frustrating!
The blonde was having trouble coping. He was so used to being loved and adored by the general public that he thought it impossible for anyone to hate him. Now that both of his personalities were under fire, there was no where he could hide behind or escape to.
It was a miracle he was still managing to keep his grades steady. The blonde wanted support, but Plagg was also giving him the cold shoulder as he did his best to fend off the ravenetteâs attacks.
In his loneliness, he threw himself into modeling. The one thing that Stephan Vladislav couldnât take from him. Until he did.
After the plethora of photo shoots Adrien had done and the many Stephan had accomplished, people began theorizing that the two models had some sort of rivalry.
The werenât wrong.
Gabriel was pleased with his sonâs change of attitude and the prospect of potentially rivaling Nicolas Vladislavâs fashion company.
Sunshine vs Eclipse was all the fashion world could talk about. There were billboards of each model. Each one trying to one up the last.
Laurice Vladislav loved it. She loved the idea so much that she created a new magazine cover for the rivalry. A phot shoot Adrien was supposed to have already booked.
Stephan looked over his reflection in the mirror after the stylists left. He smiled, satisfied with what he saw. The smile quickly turned into something darker when he saw a familiar face on the reflective surface.
Spinning his chair around, the Russian model fixed an amused expression at the blonde model, âDo want to take a picture? Weâre about to start the photo shoot in two minutes. Youâll be able to keep one of me if you want. Itâll last longer.â
Adrien didnât laugh.
âAre you happy now? Youâve turned everyone against me and ruining my life!â he bit out, the frustration boiling too wildly for him to tame.
âSo? I gave you a choice. I told you to stay away from Marinette. You didnât. I told you to stay out of my way and keep your head down. You also didnât. I wasnât about to let some scion get in the way of my goals and Marinetteâs affection,â Stephan raised his eyebrows in a way that showed how little he cared for the blondeâs misfortune.
Adrien glared at him with the same amount of venom the Russian would expect from a peasant. He rolled his eyes at the weak intimidation attempt.
âYouâve turned Marinette into a bad person. She doesnât want to be friends with anyone in the class anymore. I bet you donât even care her or the others. Knowing you, youâre probably just using them for your own ends,â the blonde spat. He didnât bother mentioning that the ravenette had also ruined being Chat Noir for him, single handedly ripping away his freedom from him.
The look Stephan gave him was awful. That was probably the worst thing Adrien couldâve said in that moment.
Stephan marched forward and grabbed Adrien by his collar, âYou shut your mouth. I care about Marinette more than you ever did. I went out of my way to help the others. I spent time with her. Listened to her. Comforted her when akumas came after her after a bad day. I never pushed her. I respect her boundaries. I donât invalidate her feelings like you do. And I certainly donât expect her to play nice with her bully. Even if she doesnât except my feelings, Iâd be more than happy to recieve her friendship,â Yes he would be absolutely crushed as Marinette was the first and only person he fell so hard for. He went out his way to sabotage and threaten someone just to be with her. But he wasnât planning to confess to her yet.
Slowly but surely, Stephan had begun to include Marinette into the limelight more and more. First were small gestures like holding hands and standing in close proximity. But not too close as he didnât want the bluenette to feel uncomfortable. Then it drifted into hugs and more love like gestures. Some of the backgrounds used were the Seine River, the Effie Tower, and various locations used for dates and love confessions. Every passing photo portrayed them as a young couple in love to the entirety of Paris, just what the ravenette had been aiming for. People were already betting on when the two of them would start dating. Stepheinette was what everyone was calling a power couple. Everything was perfect and no piece of cowardly blonde garbage was going to ruin it.
Especially since Kagami, Chloe, and Alya pulled him aside and gave him the shovel talk. Break Marinetteâs heart, and theyâd break him the same way.
He wasnât really worried. He hadnât planned on breaking the blunetteâs heart to begin with.
The three girls were very aware of what Stephan was doing and supported it, so long as he wasnât trying to push himself onto Marinette. Of course , he would never do that. He valued her comfort before his own goals and made sure never to cross any of those lines with her.
Adrien wasnât backing down, âYou claim that you donât expect her play nice with her bully but your just like Lila!â
The young Vladislav laughed in the blondeâs face.
Adrien sputtered at his reaction, âWhatâs so funny!?â He demanded.
Stephan calmed down enough to answer Adrien, âYou say Iâm just like Lila? Please, the two of us are nothing alike. Sheâs lazy, has no talent, and has a number of delusions. Not counting the one where she thinks her sausage hair is stylish,â He gestured to the space around them, âI achieved everything Iâve done with my own hands. I brought my rivals down with an iron fist. She swears sheâs the master manipulator and liar, but she is so far beneath my level that the idea of someone comparing us is laughable.â The Russian spoke in a smug, vindicated voice.
âYouâre both liars and donât care about who you hurt to achieve your goals!â The blonde model protested.
âBut I thought she was just lonely and in need of friends,â Stephan threw the words that Adrien used to excuse Lilaâs actions back in his face.
The blonde in question stammered as he indeed contradicted himself. Now he sounded like a hypocrite. Never mind that he already was one.
The Russian gave a sly grin as he continued to decimate the male in front of him, âI amassed my own money from hard work. Iâm intelligent as well as talented. I destroyed the reputation of one of Parisâ most beloved heroes. I decimated countless wealthy people and their reputations in ruins. I made an image for myself. Not just as my fatherâs son unlike someone. I took over Francois Dupont. Lila and I are nothing alike. Tell me, do you think Lila could achieve all of this?â
There was only silence as his answer.
âI thought so,â he shoved past Adrien as the camera man announced three more minutes before starting.
The blonde could only watch as Stephan left, wordlessly. It dawned on him that he was right.
What could he do against someone like that? He was like a super villain without a costume. He was smart, talented, independent, and self sufficient. While Adrien was still stuck in his fatherâs shadow.
Life wasnât fair.
Meanwhile, Stephan smirked as he stood in front of the camera.
He was a King and if you displeased to the King, you get banished. Just ask Adrien or Lila.
Kings get whatever they want, especially if it was a Queen.
(Else where across Paris, Marinette sneezed)
And whenever the Russian saw something he wanted, he would always get it.
He was Stephan Vladislav wasnât he?

part 2 :)
Yo. I return with pt. 2 of my cosplay shenanigans. Of any of yâall would like the patterns or instructions in more detail, feel free to put in an ask. c:
Step one: Mr. Compress mask.
Print pattern, cut two, assemble with tape and hot glue. Paper mache both sides and let dry.
Step two: Toga gear
Crochet scarf base, make cardboard boxes for the belt/thigh things, cut off tops of mini soda cans with a can opener, tape seran wrap to the top of said soda cans. (I plan on paper macheing the cans too to make them sturdier)
Step three: Mr Compress vest
I had to altar my vest pattern for this one, so it turned out a little wonky. I still gotta add buttons and hem a couple of the edges, but otherwise weâre chillin (I swear to god it looks better on a mannequin)
Word Count: 1,101
AN: This is the first story Iâve ever posted for others to read, so if anyone reads it please give me some feedback. Good and bad, I would like to get a get some opinions on my current writing skills. And if there is demand for a part two I would like to know. Enjoy the story.

--------------------------------
Honestly, (y/n) wasn't sure how exactly they ended up in their current predicament. Sitting on the bank of an angry river in the middle of nowhere, during a harsh downpour. They sat in the mud, completely soaked and shivering; they hugged themself close, and hissed when they felt the growing burning pain in their forearms. While they were still in the water the current brought a dead log right into their path. In order to keep themself conscious, they had to bring their arms up above their head to take the brunt of the hit before they went under. Their right foot was missing itâs boot, which made them considerably colder than they already were. Plus, they were crestfallen over the loss of such loved footwear. (y/n) really loved those boots.
After sitting there for an unknown amount of time, (y/n) hauled themself up and began limping back towards the camp. They didn't give any thought to an explanation to give the company upon her return; Their mind was too scattered. (y/n) couldn't think straight as they tried to recall what had happened. When they fell into the river, the ground had crumbled beneath their feet, and they tumbled into their near-watery demise. Fili and Kili had been there, along with Bilbo, who had let out quite a scream at their fall. They must be worried sick. (y/n) found themself becoming increasingly more exhausted the longer they walked. How far had the river carried them? Soon their thoughts werenât more than just incoherent blurs in their head.
When they arrived at the mouth of the cave, their teeth chattered loudly, and they rubbed their hands up and down the sides of their arms. When (y/n) came into view, several figures stood and quickly came to their aid, not that they were really willing to accept it. They brushed past them, heading straight for their bag on a mission to get out of their wet clothes and into relatively dry ones. They didn't even notice that several members of the company were missing. Pulling out a set of new clothes, someone approached them and placed a warm hand on their shoulder.
â(Lass/Lad), you alright?â It was Bofur, his voice was soft and full of concern.
âTell everyone to turn around.â They avoided his question. âPlease.â
âWhat?â
âTell everyone to turn around. Iâm gonna change.â They didn't even give him time before they started pulling their shirt off over their head.
Bofur sputtered and spun on his heel with his hands slapped over his eyes. The others soon followed, and (y/n) heard several surprised mutters in Khuzdul, but paid them no mind. They continued on, their pants following their shirt to the ground; they stripped down to nothing. The chill air blew over their naked skin, making a violent shiver run down their spine, and they quickly pulled on the second set of clothes. After they were fully clothed they walked past a few turned heads and sat themself as close to the fire as they could with her blanket slung over their shoulders.
âYou can open your eyes now.â (y/n) teased.
â(Lass/Lad),â This time it was Balin who addressed them, and they hummed in response as they warmed her hands over the fire. âAre you alright?â
(y/n) was quick to answer, âYeah, Iâm pretty sure Iâm good.â
âAre you sure? How about you let Oin l give you a good once over?â His voice was firm.
âBilbo came running in nearly twenty minutes ago, screaming about how youâd fallen in the river.â Dwalin spoke up to reinforce his brother's suggestion. âThorin and them are still out there lookân for ya.â
After he mentioned it (y/n) looked around and noticed that he was right. Thorin, Fili, Kili, and Bilbo were all missing from the cave. They chewed on their lip unconsciously, thinking about how worried they must be, how worried they all had been before their unforeseen reappearance. Where were they now? How far had they gone? They thought about getting up to go get them themself but ultimately decided against it due to their freezing and battered state. (y/n) pursed their lips then looked up to Dwalin.
âShouldn't someone go find them? Itâs still raining.â
âAye, Iâll go tell them your back alive.â And with that Dwalin nodded towards Balin, and made his way out of the mouth of the cave.
(y/n) watched him leave when another violent shiver racked their body. A large warm hand placed itself gently onto their cheek almost making them sigh, but they didn't resist slightly leaning into the touch. Bifur had moved to their side with a very concerned crease in his brow. He spoke something to Balin and removed his hand - much to their dislike - to make a few hand signals. The older dwarf nodded and took a few steps closer.
âI do believe it would be in your best interest to allow Oin to look you over, Bifur says your freezing.â He paused, thinking, âYou took a hard fall, (lass/lad). It also wouldn't be wrong to assume you may be injured.â
âI guess there's no harm in it.â (y/n) gave in.
Balin waved Oin, who grabbed his medical bag, grunting as he pulled himself to his feet. (y/n) had to turn their back to the fire to face Oin as he sat before them, feeling their skin with his bare hand. They showed him their arms to which he shook his head and muttered something under his breath, before bandaging them up. The bandages went from just below their elbow to just before their wrists. It felt odd to have their arms wrapped up the way they were but never once did they say anything opting to allow Oin to do his thing.
 At one point their foot was in his grasp where he found a gash about four or five inches long on the back of their calf where a rock had caught their leg and stolen their boot. It was slightly deep so he had to stitch it close before wrapping a bandage around it too.
By the time he finished, Dwalin returned with the last members of the company hot on his heels.
Okay time to delve deeper into my madness
So here is my theory and supporting evidence/inferences
Okay so as I previously established, the portal technology deals both with time and space.
This is important for later, but for now, it means that time when Etheria is trapped in "Despondos" (The in-between reality and non reality) moves very different than realspace.
So when Hordak first slips through reality. I imagine this is during either the age of strife or at the tail end of the dark age of technology(DAOT).
Im guessing this because Horde Prime makes mention how he fought the First Ones, and their understanding of mixing magic and tech was challenging for him to combat. Which then makes sense with DAOT humans mixing Warpcraft and Tecnology.
Now I'm more inclined to believe Horde Prime with Hordak began their conquest during the age of strife because of another peice in this twisted puzzle.
Mara. The og shera and the one that trapped Etheria in Despondos.
Now Mara does this because she found out all the terraforming her and her people were doing was covertly making Etheria into a mass warp weapon/engine.
For those that don't know, Etheria is particularly conductive of magic, which the locals learned to harness in their own ways. All pulling and manipulating the same well of magic to perform different tasks and spells. Alot like how the warp is channelled and manipulated to serve the Psykers' needs.
Now, the first ones/DAOT humans realised Etheria's highly "warp sensitive" nature and realised they could utilise this. So they colonised. They integrated themselves into the world.
We see this in the "ghosts" of the one town which we're actually holograms of the first one colonisers.
But they didn't just want to study that, oh no. They do as humans often do and want to weaponise it. So, they begin crafting and terraforming the planet. They make the elemental runestones that the Princesses utilise to obtain their certain powers.
That is only the secondary function of the rune stones. The main function we find out in season four and five is that they are all focal points to channel their related magics through and supercharge the weapeapon. Now, the weapon, as it turns out, is the planet itself. The weirder of the sword of protection should've then been able to target and trigger the weapon to fire along with the ability to move it around.
To me sounds alot like a necron world engine or a large scale weaponised forge world.
Mara wasn't really having this. And I believe when Mara finds out why they built this "weapon" and crashes the ship is when the cybernetic revolt was happening. I mean look at light hope.
Light Hope is a sentient AI who fell in love with Mara and so disobeyed her programming, but at the point where we find out Mara was hiding Etheria to protect the universe we see light hope fighting against herself to help Mara.
So we have my rough timeline. "How does this all factor into Adora is a Primarch?" Great question! Now, we actually get to my biggest evidence.
So we learn that when Hordak kinda secsessfully opens a portal back to realspace a baby adora comes through causing the portal to break from the strain.
It's explicitly said and shown that Hordak himself never goes through the portal. Never reaches through or goes but returns. No. He opens the portal and Adora COMES THROUGH.
Adora was an infant, so it wasn't like a toddler wandering around and stumbling through. No, she was swaddled and everything. No parent reached through or came in and dropped her off.
Just a little swaddled baby adora just pops out of the portal and it collapses.
That's the objective cannon facts of the show. Then, as it turns out, despite perfectly replicating his experiments over and over, he couldn't reopen the portal the same way. So, one thing I would wonder besides (plot) would be how he got it to work. Then I realised he had to have help from the other side.
Enter Erda. When she scatters all 20 of the baby primarchs. She does so by casting them into the warp and letting the metaphysical winds take them where ever. So this is where I dawned my first theory hat.
What if Hordak's portal only worked because of Erda, at the same time, opening a rift and yeeting her children through. Thud Adora, the token female primarch, ends up coming through a portal to a place where she'll be safe from her father. Thus, when she enters Etheria, the warp rift aiding Hordak's portal closes due to its duty being complete.
Part 2/?
Okay, so also, one of the things that truly got me into AU crafting and Warhammer40k in general is my own wild head cannon. U wanna hear it? Of course you do. Okay, here is something I totally believe is cannon and u can prove to me otherwise.
Okay, so allow me to elaborate.
So first off, I was a Shera fan BEFORE I was a warhammer fan, but after I really started to get into warhammer, something clicked.
I was painting some of my first minis when, for background noise, I decided to throw Shera on for the umpteenth time. Then I started to notice it.
Shera is a Scifi x Fantasy series, so there is already a precedent for the two to flow well together. But then u start getting into the workings of Etheria's Archeo-tech.
So let's start with who settled Etheria. We see through holographic projections/recordings along with our two confirmed First Ones in the series (Adora and Mara) that First ones were clearly human or close to humans.
Suspending a little disbelief, and it's not too far a jump to claim that the First Ones were humans from the dark age of technology. Further proof is in the show how powerful and advanced First Ones' tec is! Also, it is extremely valuable as only two to three people can work/manipulate it properly. (Two of those three are hyper intelligent geniuses)
Let's move on to one of my bigger points, the portals.
During season three, Entrapta and Hordac work to get her to retrofit Hordac's tech with First One's tech. This taps into the planetary magic and the integrated (for lack of an in universe term) warp engine. Unfortunately the portal becomes unstable and fucks with time and reality.
Eventually, after removing the "key" from the portal, the planet returns to realspace.
Oh did I forget to mention that up until that point the entire planet and it's moons we're in a nebulous in-between dimension that could only be accessed by a cataclysmic event on the inside or a freak anomaly from the outside.
This then lends credence to my main argument/ claim Adora, She-ra, Princess of Power and guardian of Etheria is a primarch!
Part 1 of ?
He stood on the lip of the platform, ready to jump down onto the tracks. His backpack lay beside him, and tears flowed down his face.
It was true. A fortnight ago he would not have believed â much less suspected â the truth, and now, looking back, he wondered what had gone so wrong that he deserved this. He looked down in his hand at the opened locket, and read again what was on the sheet of paper his mother had left in it, as if the rereading would make the words change their meaning or disappear.
Daelyn
You are too young now to know the truth, for the sooner you know the sooner the men who I have entrusted you to will turn on you.
The truth of your father is that he is not of this world; he is the Blue Flame, the spirit of the east, known to the church as Lucifer.
I have sealed this locket, in the hopes when you are old enough, you can read this and escape.
I know not what Father Lye has told you over the years about me or your father, but know he is your enemy, and will kill you if you know the truth. He could barely be restrained from killing you as a newborn, and now that I am dying â for that is what is happening â this could be the only chance for you to know the truth and be able to escape.
Trust no one, question everything.
Yours in eternity,
Mom
Where was he supposed to go? If this was true, and he was the son of Lucifer (the de- the dev-, he could not think the words), what could he do? He was the antichrist, a being meant to bring destruction and end the world. What could he do but try to subvert that fate?
And what better way to subvert that fate than to die?
He stared down at the tracks, as he heard the train approaching. Closing his eyes, taking a deep breath, and he put his right foot out and â
Was dragged backwards, rather than falling forward. The train passed by, loudly and quickly, until he was left with his erstwhile and relatively unwanted savior.
âWhat? Who?â
He turned around and saw an old lady, dressed in a brown overcoat and large, ludicrously decorated floral hat. With gray hair and green eyes, she was the perfect caricature of what an old lady should look like. âYou looked like you needed some help. Those tracks are dangerous, you know.â She spoke with a curious accent. Greek, maybe?
âThank you,â he stated, and began to walk away.
âOh come back, dear boy. I want a word with you.â
He paused, turned on his heel, and walked back to her. She walked up to him, and embraced him in a hug.
âThere, there boy. It will be alright.â
She patted his back and then whispered the final words.
âYour father is watching over you.â
She leaned back, and he looked into her eyes. Except now, they were not eyes, but rather black circles dancing with flames. She smiled again, this time an unnerving sight.
âMy name is Alecto, child of the blue flame.â
She handed him a letter, written on thick parchment and sealed with wax in the image of a goatâs head.
âHis advice for you, and a couple tips on who to go to, to help control your powers. Good luck, little cousin.â
Youâve spent your whole life despising your very existence, until finally you decide to end it. You stand at the edge of a train platform and prepare to step of when and old woman pulls you back and saysâŚ
It had been a ridiculously long time since you have last seen Anakin. All due to the sudden wave of Jedi trainings, sparring, missions and improving yourself that washed over you like a bucket of ice cold water. Nevertheless, you had to prepare yourself to take the trials. During sessions with the Council, missions with your master and sparring with other Padawan's, you found your mind focused more than ever.
Naturally, with your strict schedule of seemingly endless work, you found no time to think of wandering the Jedi Temple halls. Tempting as they may be, you did commit to undergo Jedi training, and as a Padawan, you had to stay focused. You were determined to not let anything stand in your way, even if it did cost you the possibility of seeing Anakin again. Currently, your mind was busy with turning into bed with a heavy head and full stomach.
Changing gracefully into your nightgown, you couldn't stop your eyes from wandering to the door to your quarters. Just beyond those doors was the chance to clear your head, to get Anakin out of your head. Even then, your feet stayed planted firmly onto the smooth carpet, once done with your nightgown, you walked to your bed, slipping under the covers with a relieved sigh.
As you closed your eyes, you felt your entire body relax and your mind start to rest. No doubt the best part of your day, you let yourself go completely, surrendering to the mansions of rest. A few hours into your peaceful slumber, Anakin slipped into your room. Why? Because he longed to see you. Over the time you two had been away, his mind was restless with thoughts of speaking to you again, and once he haunted the halls of the Temple, while others were completely unaware, he was waiting for you. When you never once showed, he decided to take matters into his own hands.
And that is what led him to you now, his eyes went to your sleeping figure, taking in your amicable figure, how your chest heaved in a serene rhythm, it made him feel a need to protect you. He sat in a chair a few feet from your bed, studying how your sleeping figure was lightened by the beams of twilight that sneaked in through your window.
"I've missed you, Y\N." He breathed, as quiet as the wind. Anakin leaned forward, close to your face as he caressed your cheeks. A touch characterized by the amount of affection he felt for you now, which he did not completely understand at this moment. Touching you felt like a dream, even if it was just your cheeks, it made him feel whole. You stirred, turning ever so slightly, and Anakin retracted back into his chair. Had he awoken you? "Anakin?" You asked softly, and he could feel his heartbeat speed up a great deal.
"Yes?" He answered, his shining blue eyes quickly darting to your eyes. "What are you doing in here?" Your eyes flutter open slightly, feeling your sleepiness wear off ever so slightly at the sound of his voice. "I missed you, of course." Anakin grinned at you. Propping yourself on your elbows, you gazed at him. "Well, I missed you as well." His grin widened at your words. "So, how've you been?" He inquires, leaning back in his chair. "Stressed. How about you? How's your Jedi training going?" Anakin shrugs at you, his grin disappearing, replaced by a more annoyed expression. "Fine, I suppose. I've been having these... nightmares."
You tilt your head at him, curiosity piqued. "Try me." He sighs, standing up from his chair, his hands rubbing his face. "It's about my mom. Remember when I told you we were sold to a slave owner on Tatooine?" You nod. "Well, Qui-Gon rescued only me, so I had to leave her." The feeling in his words was real, as his fist clenched tightly. "What are your dreams of your mother about, specifically?"
Anakin glares at you, instantly you can see the fire in them; reckless, determined but also wounded and flightless. "She's dying, over and over and everytime I get there, it's too late." Tears begin to slowly, painfully prick at his eyes. "She's being hurt and I can't get there. I promised her I would come back.." Anakin's voice raises slightly. "What is the point of this? Torturing her? What has it all come to?" He scowls, his gaze focused intently on the floor. "Anakin, go see your mother." His head snaps toward you, his radiant blue eyes darkened by a uncertainty. "What?" You nod reassuringly, slipping out of your bed and placing a reassuring hand to his shoulder. "Yes, you should."
It takes him a few moments to respond before his eyes trail down to yours, and he slowly wraps his arms around you. "Will you.... will you come with me, Y\N?" He asks, no- pleads, into your ear, his voice soft but shaky and urgent. "Yes." You answer simply, returning his hug with your own, embracing him as you both held onto his each other for what felt like seconds, but was actually minutes. Once Anakin pulled away, he gazed intently into your eyes, trying to scope out any sense of a lie, an empty promise. The moment he could properly reassure himself you were being truthful, he pulled you into another hug.

Part two of the other one- Just loads of fun stuff in here- My Adventure time phase was blossoming a tad and really just a melting pot of my old AUS and original characters lol
PT 2 of my goofy lil Relativity Falls comic- Random filler I guess I LOVE THEM AUGHH I HAVE SO MUCH LORE BWHAHAHA-
it's not you now, its something else
it's easier to love
a vesicle for influence,
torpid machine of thought
and its better this way, it doesnât hurt
when someone hurts something youâre not
but when the colors blur,
it always comes to end
in the darkness of the bedroom,
in the darkness of your head
when you close your eyes to sleep
when thereâs noone there to tell you
a part of you, the one thats you,
always, it will know:
the truth is the lump in your throat,
the truth is in dexterous hand
the truth is in a crooked smile,
pointing to the sand
they taught you to hate yourself,
but what you should hate is them
we were borne from the lake,
to the lake we meet our end
the mirror was not meant to be
neither silver nor black facade
something we werenât meant to see,
wan face reflected back
it's your fingertips on petals,
it's your toes in the grass
it's your lungful of fresh air,
even if it is your last
you wish to fulfill potential,
you wish that you were tough
donât weep nor mourn what cannot be
you always were enough
The moonlit evening slowly turned into a dark night. The doctor was talking to his friend, drinking from a glass of blood-red liquid, sometimes laughing and nodding at his friend's phrases. Strange taste... The doctor did not pay attention to anything and leaned back on the sofa. Not only was he able to relax for the first time in such a long time, but also in pleasant company. No matter how it is. The doctor looked up at Polonoi. His eyes glowed with a menacing violet light, and his gaze was... Uncharacteristically strange for him
- I feel sleepy...
- no wonder, doctor. You don't know how to drink at all!
- but I...
He looked down at the floor, trying to come to his senses. His head was buzzing, sounds began to be muffled by a strange deafness, and objects literally blurred in his eyes.
-...Dyo. I can spot sleeping pills anywhere... aren't you...
Polonoi watched the doctor's mind go blank, throwing his leg up on the couch. The doctor held the bridge of his nose, massaging it. He looked lethargic, almost lifeless. Dio smiled and said only one thing
â see you in the morning, Doctor...
"Huh? Is soemone there?"

I Wish That You Were Here-Florence And The Machine
Pairing: Eventual Dean x Reader
Warning(s): Violence, angst.
Summary: Y/N and the boys follow the coordinates in Johnâs journal and land in Colorado, where they investigate the disappearance of several campers. Meanwhile, Y/N struggles with the nightmares of her parentâs death.
Word count: 3,902
The next morning, the three of you loaded up the Impala and headed to the woods to search for Haileyâs brother. You havenât spoken to Dean after your little outburst, no matter how many times he tried to talk to you. He even offered you a coffee before you and the brothers hit the road, considering how tired you were, but you didnât take it, only kept your arms crossed over your chest and looked away from the man.
You watched as the view of Hailey and her little brother were getting bigger. An unfamiliar man was standing off to the side with a gun in his hands. You suspected it was Roy, the man that Hailey hired to help them navigate through the woods.
The Impala stopped as Dean turned off the engine, you opened your door with your backpack in your hands before stepping onto the dirt path. Your eyes landed on Hailey, looking surprised to see the three of you. âYou got room for three more?â Dean called, heading up to the group.
âYou want to come with us?â She asked.
âWho are these guys?â Roy eyed the three of you with suspicion.
âApparently, this is all the park service could muster up.â Hailey remarked, turning her head to look at Roy.
You rolled your eyes at the attitude she had. Following behind Sam, you smiled at Ben and tried to ignore the small banter going back and forth between Hailey and Dean.
âOh, you think this is funny?â Roy asked in a serious tone, jumping into the conversation. You turned your head to look at the man. âItâs dangerous back country out there. Her brother might be hurt.â
âBelieve me, I know how dangerous it can be.â Dean explained. âWe just want to them find their brother. Thatâs all.â
The six of you headed into the woods without another wood. You had missed the sounds of your feet crunching against the dead leaves, or the sounds of the birds chirping as they flew by above you. It was almost like you were heading to the campsite you were about to stay at with your parents, but instead of them, it was with the Winchester brotherâs and three other people you hardly knew. And we were hunting down a creature none of us knew. You took a deep breath, and stopped in your tracks for a moment as you looked around the woods. You werenât alone in this, but a big part of you felt like all you had was yourself.
âGetting tired already?â Roy asked from the front, you looked up to see him giving you a glare from how you randomly stopped.
You rolled your eyes and let out a scoff as you started walking again. âNo, Iâm not tired, thereâs just.. a lot of memories running through my mind right now.â You told him, a small smile stretched across your lips.
âMemories of what?â He curiously asked as you two walked side by side.
âMy parents took me camping a lot when I was younger every summer.â You admitted to him. âIt was my favorite thing to do with them, I havenât been out in the woods since they passed away because it was going to be the same.â
Royâs expression softened at what you had told him. âIâm sorry, how did your parents die may I ask?â
You opened your mouth to say something, but before you could speak, Dean changed the subject, thinking it wouldâve been hard for you to recall the memory of your parents dying. âSo Roy- you said you did a little hunting?â He asked, stepping in between the two of you.
âYeah. More than a little.â He answered, his tone now sounding bored.
âUh-huh,â Dean nodded, looking down at the ground to see where he was going. âWhat kind of furry creatures do you hunt?â
âMostly buck. Sometimes bear.â He answered, stopping as he observed around the place.
âTell me, uh, Bambi or Yogi ever hunt you back?â Dean questioned, walking a little bit further up from everyone as he looked around. You bit back a laugh.
Roy grabbed Dean by the back of his collar and roughly yanked him back. Everyone stopped and looked, you clenched your jaw, waiting for something to happen. âWhat you doing, Roy?â Dean asked, his tone dropping lower.
Roy let go of him, grabbing a stick and hitting it to the ground, making a bear trap go off. He looked at Dean and smirked, âYou should watch where youâre steppingâŚRanger.â He muttered before walking off at his own pace.
Dean stood there, staring down at the trap. âItâs a bear trap,â He chuckled out nervously.
You rolled your eyes and stood next to Sam for a few seconds, he was staring down at the trap like something was off putting about it. You gave him a worried glanced, he just shook his head and began walking again to catch up with the rest of the gang. You followed behind and fell last in line, which you didnât mind.
After another few minutes of walking, Hailey spoke up. âYou didnât pack any provisions.â She tried to walk faster to catch up with him. âYou guys are carrying a duffel bag. Youâre not rangers, so who the Hell are you?â She yanked Dean by his arm to stop and turn him around.
Sam and you stopped behind as Dean glanced at both of you, wondering if he should speak the truth. You sighed and walked up to Dean, you leaned over and whispered. âLet me talk to her, go ahead with the rest of them.â You said as you stared into his eyes. He gave you a confused look. âGo off and do what you came here to do.â You warned, giving him a soft smile. He sighed and nodded his head over to his brother, you watched as the two of them walked off.
âSam and Dean are brothers, Iâm their best friend.. I guess.â You explained, sighing to yourself. âTheyâre looking for their dad, and for some reason they think he might be here, but they donât know that for sure. LookâŚDean thought since he was in the same boat as you, he wanted to help.â
âWhy didnât he tell me from the start?â Hailey asked, you wanted to laugh.
âHeâs not very honest, I guess. I bumped into them again a couple of weeks ago after a few years, Iâm just now figuring out who they are.â You admitted, smiling at her. She tried to smile, but all she was turn away to look at something in the distance. âLook, if it makes you feel any better, I have a feeling weâre getting closer to finding your brother. Heâs out there somewhere, alive. We just need to stick together and find him before itâs too late, okay?â
She was quiet for a few seconds before looking at you and nodded her head. âOkay, letâs head back.â
~~~
Through the miles of trees and plants, you began to see an opening through the almost human sized weeds as pushed them away and walked up to the group that sopped. âThis is it- Black Water Ridge,â Roy explained, stepping out of the way so everyone could walk ahead.
âWhat coordinates are we at?â Sam asked, walking first as he looked around the place.
Roy pulled out his GPS, punching on a few buttons.â35 minus 111.â
Dean stepped up to his brother and you. âYou hear that?â He muttered, you listened quietly around you. But there was nothing but silence.
âYeah,â Sam whispered. âNot even crickets.â
âIâm going to take a look around.â Roy announced, tucking his device away as he observed the scenery.
Sam, being the overprotective one, spoke up. âYou shouldnât go alone.â He suggested, turning his head to look at the older man.
Roy chuckled to himself. âThatâs sweet,â He replied as he began walking over to the three of you. âDonât worry about me.â He slid between the two boys and headed off.
The five of you were now alone, you all slowly grouped together as Dean stepped up and looked at all of you. âAll right, everybody stays together.â He says, âLetâs go.â
Everyone was about to start, until Royâs voice boomed through the air causing all heads to turn to where the sound was coming from. âHailey! Over here!â She took off, which caused a ripple effect, everyone went after her. All of you ran for a minute until she stopped dead in tracks, her eyes growing at what she saw. It was something that you didnât want to see on this entire trip. Tommyâs camping sight. Or what was left of it.
Everything looked like it was ripped apart, nothing was left untouched from what attacked the place. You saw that the tent was slashed apart and barely standing. Different objects laid sprawled across the ground with the same pattern on the tents, everything looked like something had taken their claws and slashed it to bits. When your eyes landed on a pile of blood on top of the tent, your stomach twisted into knots.
âLooks like a grizzly.â Someone muttered, but you couldnât hear them, you were too busy looking around the place with horror.
âTommy?â Hailey called out, stepping around the place. She unclasped her backpack and dropped it onto the ground, before bolting off and calling her brotherâs name again.
Sam quickly ran up to her and tried to quiet her down, he looked around the place as she questioned why. âSomething might still be out there.â He whispered, cautiously observing the woods around you.
âSam, Y/N.â You heard Dean call your name from somewhere else.
The both of you excused yourself before finding Dean crouched down over something. You walked over and got down on your knees, your eyes observed what looked to be the kind of long marks. âThe bodies were dragged from the camp sight.â He said, looking at the two of you. âBut here, the tracks just vanish. Itâs weird.â The three of you stood back up as you looked around again.
âIâll take a guess, itâs not a skin walker or a black dog?â You asked, looking back at Dean. He just nodded his head and walked back to the rest of the group with Sam following behind, leaving you alone.
You looked at the tracks again, before turning your head up and looking up at the trees surrounding you. You walked around the forest and started examining each tree, anything out of the ordinary. You were farther away from the camp sight than you intended, but you found something you were looking for.
Turning your head up, you saw a handful of trees marked with claw marks. It looked like someone had done it with a bloody hand. Like something you would expect from a monster that drags their bloody pray away.
âHelp! Somebody help me!â
In the distance, you heard the sound of someone shouting deep into the woods, but not far enough from where you were. You rushed back to the camp sight as fast as you could and called out for the brothers when you could see that no one was in sight
Your heart raced in fear when you could hear the sounds of leaves rustling, but you quickly let out a sigh of relief when you saw everyone emerging back to the camp site. It took a few moments to realize all of your gear and belongings suddenly had vanished. Sam and Dean darted around, looking for the thing that could have taken it, but the woods around you appeared to be empty.
âOur packs!â Hailey noticed, her eyes wandering around the place to see where they went. But there was nothing to see except the vandalized belongings you found earlier.
Roy wandered around until he stopped at a certain spot and crouched down on the ground. âSo much for my GPS and satellite phone.â He muttered to himself.
âWhat the Hell is going on?â Hailey questioned, looking over at Sam.
Sam looked around, he shook his head. âItâs smart. It wants to cut us off so we canât call for help.â
âYou mean someone- some nut job out there just stole our gear.â Roy wondered, curiously turning his head around to see if he could find the culprit.
When you realized what mightâve been going on, you headed over to the brothers. âI need to speak with youâŚin private.â You whispered to them, nodding your head to another part of the woods.
âWhatâs going on, Y/N?â Sam asked you, wondering why you had brought them to a different part of the woods.
âI have a feeling I know what this thing is, Dean, let me see your dadâs journal so we can figure out how to kill this thing.â You demanded. Dean opened his jacket and pulled out the journal, as you pulled out your own journal from your back pocket, it was something the Halliwellâs had gifted to you, giving you information of all of the things they had dealt with, what exactly they were and how to stop them. You flipped through a few pages of the book until you found what you were looking for, before grabbing a hold of the journal Dean was handing over to you and flipping through it until you came across the same thing. "All right. Check that out.â You turned the book so Sam and Dean could see what you presumed the creature was.
âOh, come on.â Dean muttered, taking the journal and shaking his head at the findings. âWendigos are in the Minnesota woods or northern Michigan. Iâve never heard of one this far west.â
âThink about it Dean- the claws, the way it can mimic a human voice.â You informed, looking around at the woods. âThe hunters I was staying with have dealt with this kind of creature before.â
Sam nodded his head at the information you were feeding to both of the brothers, knowing that you were right on this one. âSheâs right, Dean.â He agreed with you. âIt all adds up.â
His brother mumbled something underneath his breath as he rolled his eyes, he held up his gun and sighed. âWell, then this is useless.â He muttered to himself.
You sighed and walked away, before you did, you turned around and said whatâs been burning in the back of you mind. âWe got to get these people to safety.â You informed before heading back to the sight to talk to the group.
âAll right listen up. Itâs time to go.â You declared, walking up to Roy. âThings have gotten more complicated.â
âWhat?â Hailey hissed out, but you ignored her.
Roy chuckled, he looked at you and smiled. âWhatever out there, Iâm think I can handle it.â He stated, turning his back and began to do something else.
âIf you shoot this thing, youâre going to make it mad.â You warned, looking at Roy. âWe have to leave now.â
âOne, youâre talking nonsense, two, youâre in no position to be give anybody orders..â Royâs voice was getting louder with anger.
You clenched your jaw and pulled back your anger from hurting the man. âWe should have never let you come out here in the first place. Iâm trying to protect you.â
âYou protect me?â Roy slowly stepped forward, his voice was becoming harsher. âI was hunting in these woods when your mommy was still kissing you goodnight.â
âItâs a damn-near-perfect hunter,â You stated, staring Roy straight in the eyes. âItâs smarter than you. And itâs gonna hunt you down and eat you alive unless we get your stupid sorry ass out of here.â
Roy just laughed, pushing you back roughly. âYou know youâre crazy, right?â
âYeah?â You questioned, your tone was becoming lower with anger. âYou ever hunt-â
Before you could finish your sentence, Dean was pulling you back so you couldnât lunge at Roy. He didnât like the fact that the man put his hands on you the way he did, and he sure as hell didnât want the situation to become worse. âSweetheart, you gotta chill out.â He warned.
âStop it. Just everybody stop it.â Hailey shouted, stepping forward. âLook, Tommy might still be alive. And Iâm not leaving without him.â
It was quiet for a few moments between the group, Dean looked around. âItâs getting late.â He observed the sky before looking at everyone. âThis thing is a good hunter in the day, but an unbelievable hunter at night. Weâll never beat it- not in the dark.â He stated, he paused for a few moments. âWe need to settle in and protect ourselves.â He said before walking a few steps and getting prepared for the night ahead.
~~~
Night fell quicker than expected, a fire crackled behind you as Dean sketched a symbol in the dirt with a stick he found on the ground before heading back to the group that was circled around the fire.
âOne more time. Thatâs a-â Hailey asked, watching as he went to another spot and did the same drawing in the dirt.
âAnasazi symbols. Itâs for protection.â Dean explained. âThe Windigo canât cross over them.â
Roy watched over Dean as he stood there with his gun perched on his shoulder. Laughter erupted from him, âNobody like a skeptic boy.â Dean said, looking up at the man. He just gave a glare to the man and dropped the stick.
Dean stood back up and walked over to his brother. You were a little further away, using your own little flashlight to help you read over your journal, giving the brothers a little bit of privacy as they talked. Sam sat there in his thoughts, and if he did that for too long, he would get himself worked up. Dean sat down and looked over at his brother. âYou want to tell me whatâs going on in that freaking head of yours?â
Sam didnât break his concentration from the ground. âDeanâŚâ He warned, putting his hand up to mumble a lie, but he was quick to catch on.
âNo, youâre not fine.â Dean said, âYouâre like a powder keg, man. Itâs not like you. Iâm supposed to be the belligerent one, remember?â He tried to joke, but his brother just kept quiet.
âDadâs not here.â Sam muttered, not bothering to look up. âI mean, that much we know for sure, right? He would have left us a message, a sign, right?â
âYeah, youâre probably rightâŚ.To tell you the truth,â He confessed. âI donât think Dadâs ever been to Lost Creek.â
Both of them looked up at each other. âThen letâs get these people back to town, and letâs hit the roadâŚfind Dad. I mean, why are we still even here?â He threw a stick he was holding in anger, sighing to himself in frustration.
Dean stood up and walked over so he was crouched down at eye level to Sam. He pulled out the journal and tapped his top hand against the leather. âThis is whyâŚthis book.â He explained, his finger tapping against it. âThis is Dadâs most single most valuable possession. Everything he knows about evil thing is in here. And he passed it on to the three of us. I think he wants us to pick up where he left off- you know, saving people, hunting thingsâŚ.the family business.â
Sam was quiet, trying to make sense of what came out of his brotherâs mouth mouth. He shook his head and looked down at the ground. âThat makes no sense.â He said, rubbing his face with his hands. âWhy- Why doesnât he just call us? Why doesnât he just tell us what he wants, tell us where he is?â
Dean shrugged his shoulders. âI donât know.â He admitted, âBut the way I see it, Dadâs given us a job to do, and I intend to do it.â
Sam looked at his brother. âDeanâŚâ He whispered, shaking his head. âNo. I gotta find Dad. I gotta find Jessicaâs killer. And we also have to find the demon thatâs after Y/N before itâs too late.â He looked over to you, you seemed so content as you read over the journal you had of your own. âitâs the only thing Iâve been thinking about.â
âOkay. All right. Sam, weâll find them. I promise.â Dean consoled his brother. âListen to me. Youâve got to prepare yourself. I mean, this search for Dad could take a while. And all that anger,â He softly pushed his brother. âYou canât keep it burning over the long haul. Itâs going to kill you. Youâve got to have patience, man.â
Sam shook his head, looking at Dean. âHow do you do it?â He asked, letting out a chuckle. âHow does Dad do it?â
âWell, for one, them.â Dean nudged his head to the side. âI mean, I figured our familyâs so screwed to Hell, maybe we can help some others. It makes things a little more bearable.â The two of them focused on Hailey and Ben, who were sitting at the fire, trying to keep each others mind occupied.
âAnd Iâll tell you what else helps. Killing as many evil sons of bitches I can.â He added, smirking when he saw his brother smile softly. âAnd I promise you we are going to find the demon thatâs after Y/N. Iâm not going to let anything to happen to her.â
Sam couldnât help but smile at what his brother had said. âYou really love her, donât you?â
âI donât think I was ever willing to stop loving her.â Dean admitted with a sigh. âI just wish she knew that.â
âWish I knew what?â
The brothers both almost jumped three feet in the air when they realized you were now standing right near them. You let out a soft chuckle at their behavior before taking a seat next to Dean, looking over at him with a smile, curious to know what he was talking about while you were off to the side.
Before Dean could even answer you, though, you all heard it screaming again. The three of you stood up, grabbing a flashlight as you walked up to investigate. The sounds of a gun cocking and rustling in the woods just a few feet away wasnât something you wanted to hear.
âItâs trying to draw us out. Just stay cool. Stay put.â You said in a calm tone, looking around.
âInside the magic circle?â Roy taunted, laughing at how it sounded. But the sounds of pleas and helps soon turned into a growl that echoed through the forest. He instantly regretted those words, pointing his gun to the trees. âOkay, thatâs no grizzly.â
âItâs okay,â Hailey tried to comfort her little brother as they backed away. âWeâll be all right. I promise.â
There were first sounds of scrams and bushes rustling, then the sounds of a gunshot going off was heard. Roy turned around as he saw a ghostly figure pass him, he aimed his gun and shot again, the sound of the creature being wounded was the sound of victory to him. âI got it!â He cheered, before running after the thing, ignoring Deanâs shouts and protests for him to get back.
âDonât move,â Dean warned Hailey and Ben, she wrapped her arm around her brother and pushed him back to safety.
You and the brothers ran into the woods and after the man, Dean called the older manâs name several times. As you walked further and further, you couldnât find Roy anywhere. The three of you looked at one another in defeat.
You found yourself splitting up from the brothers so you three could find Roy faster, but that seemed to be a big mistake. As you were so caught up in looking for the man, you found yourself being grabbed and roughly pulled down to the ground by your feet and all you could remember was letting out a loud scream of fear before your whole world faded to black.

Pairing: Eventual Dean x Reader
Warning(s): Angst, language, violence
Episode summary: Y/NÂ gets reunited with the Winchesterâs after years of being apart. And although she is happy to be around them again, she finds herself lying about who she really is because of what they do.
Word count: 2,619
Your feet ached and you felt like you had been running forever, but you kept following Dean to where ever he was heading to, which was the Welch household. You saw that the Impala was parked off to the side of the road. But you couldnât quite make out where Sam was inside of it. Running a little bit faster, you finally spotted him sitting inside the car with the ghost of Constance sitting on top of his body, hurting him. Your lips stretched into a scowl.
Adrenaline pumped through your body as you thought of something, the gun dug into your backside. Ignoring the shouts from Dean, you suddenly found yourself running faster than him and pulling out the gun. You stopped at the passenger side and saw Constance had somehow transformed into this skeletal ghost that didnât make you scared like she wanted.
âGet down!â You shouted at Sam. The ghost looked at you before you pulled the trigger several times, the window shattered into a million pieces as you slowly inched closer towards the car with each shot. You waited a few seconds until she was gone, but somehow she popped back up again. You quickly brought the gun back up again and shot a few more times until she finally vanished into thin air. You thought that it would do the job, but Sam decided that wasnât good enough.
He turned the engine back on and floored it, driving right through the house and lost himself in the pile of wreckage. Dean called out his little brotherâs name as he ran to the crash. You followed after him into the house and saw that Sam was okay, but stuck inside the car. You helped Dean get him out as best as you could. When he was free, you wrapped his right arm around your shoulder and tried to steady his body onto yours to keep him from being in too much pain.
Your eyes wandered around the house until they landed on Constance, she was across the room now. She bent down and picked up a photograph that must have dropped from the crash. Her eyes went from the picture towards the three of you. You nervously gulped, her face was written with anger as she threw the frame back towards the ground in frustration. She was pissed.
In a blink of an eye she moved and somehow dragged a dresser and threw it against your bodies, pinning you against the car. You groaned from the sudden pressure and pain, trying your hardest to help the boys push this thing off your body, but it was no use.
Then the lights flickered on around the place and an eerie vibe set in; she changed her mood, frantically looking around the place to see what was causing it. But she knew exactly what it was. She turned her head towards the staircase. You watched as water began pouring down through the wooden cracks and stairs, Constanceâs attention was focused on two figures that stood on top of the stairs.
She walked to it, her eyes landed on the small shadows of bodies that she could make out. What they said made a shiver run down your spine when you realize who they were, her dead kids. âYouâve come home to us, Mommy.â The children whispered in sync, they held hands. She just stood there, looking at the shadows for a few moments until she turned her head towards the right.
Then they were back after so many years of neglect. There stood her real children in the flesh again. They wrapped their tiny arms around her body as she screamed out in terror, the guilt settled in after all these years of running away from what she had done to them. But she couldnât escape. Seconds later you saw a flash of light causing you to turn your head as the room shook all around you.
After a few seconds, you turned back to see what happened. You noticed that Constance and her children were gone, all except for a puddle of water that was left behind. The three of you looked at one another, making sure everyone was all right. Sam and Dean pushed off the dresser and let it fall back towards the ground.
You headed towards the wet spot, you heard Sam and Dean follow behind. âSo this is where she drowned her kids.â Dean said, looking around the place one more time.
âThatâs why she could never go home.â Sam explained, âShe was too scared to face them.â
âYou found her weak spot, nice job Sammy.â Dean congratulated his brother by slapping his bruised chest before heading towards his beloved car to see if there was any damage.
Sam forced out a chuckle through the pain, his eyes dropping towards you. âI wish I could the same thing for you. What were you thinking shooting Casper in the face, you freak?â
You rolled your eyes and crossed your arms over your chest. âI saved your ass, didnât I?"
"Iâll tell you another thing.â Dean spoke up, leaning over to inspect something on the Impala. âIf you screwed up my car, Iâll kill you.â
Sam just laughed at his brotherâs threat as Dean flashed his brother a glare that you knew wasnât a serious one. You smiled to yourself as you saw how immature the boys were acting. And Dean seemed to be a bit more happier, he didnât know what it was, but having you around him again after a few years brought out the goofiest part of him he didnât know he had.
The brothers wasted no time in getting the car out of the wreckage, while you tried your hardest to keep yourself warm from the sudden gust of wind that hit you. You rubbed your hands along your arms to create some sort of friction to keep them warm. Even with the jacket you had on, it wasnât enough to keep you warm.
Suddenly, you felt something heavy drape over your shoulders and the familiar smell of Deanâs cologne filled your nose. The man had let you wear the jacket, just like he had let you wear before all those years ago. You slid your arms through the holes, letting out a laugh at how big it seemed on you. But oh, it sure was warm.
âThank you for this.â You spoke to him in the softest tone of voice as you gave him a small smile.
âYouâre welcome, sweetheart.â Dean returned the gesture as he wrapped an arm around your shoulders. You both started walking back to the Impala. âSo, where should I drop you off? Your parents house, a motel..â
You could feel your smile drop at the mention of your parents. Of course, that was one thing you forgot to tell him and his brother when you saw them again after seven damn years. You stopped walking, standing at the backseat door of the Impala as you overlooked the brotherâs faces; They were both filled with concern at the sudden shift in your mood.
You let out a sigh, âMy parents passed away trying to protect me five years ago.â You admitted to the both of them, leaning yourself up against the car, you folded your hands together on top of it, spilling out most of the truth about what had gone down during the years you hadnât seen them. âA demon killed them, which is the whole reason why I wanted to learn more about the supernatural.. This demon tried to come after me, but there were a couple of people.. hunters, I guess, who saved me and brought me to their home.â
The brothers were silent for a moment, Dean couldnât help but hate himself for bringing your parents up. âY/N.. Iâm so sorry.â He apologized to you,
You shook your head, giving him a small smile. âThereâs no way you couldâve known, Dean.â You reassured him. âDonât beat yourself up over that.â Â
âWhat about the demon?â Sam couldnât help himself but to ask, you looked back over at him, wondering what he was trying to ask. âDid they manage to kill the demon?â
âThe demonâs out there.â You admitted to them. âIt wasnât like any other demon they had seen before.â You fidgeted with your thumbs all before pushing away from the Impala.âLetâs get going, yeah?â You said to them, giving them a small smile before slipping yourself into the backseat, leaving Sam and Dean in their own personal thoughts for a moment before they followed you in suit.
~~~
The Impala was back on the road in no time with only a broken taillight that could be fixed in the morning, but for now, all of you needed to get home safely like promised. Dean was at the driverâs seat while Sam was in the passengerâs side, his fatherâs journal sitting on his lap with the page flipped towards the coordinates to see where they lead. His finger traced around a trail until he found out where his father wanted them to go.
âOkay, hereâs where Dad went.â Sam pointed out on the map that he leaned against the dashboard. âItâs called Black Bottle Ridge, Colorado.â
âSounds charming.â Dean remarked. He looked down at the map for a few seconds before turning his attention back to the road. âHow far?â
âAbout six hundred miles.â Sam answered, turning head slightly to the side to observe the map a little bit more under the flashlight.
âIf we shag ass, we could make it by morning.â Dean suggested, a little bit of hope rising in his voice.
Sam looked up from the map, he was quiet for a few moments, not sure of how to break the news towards his older brother. He wasnât as serious as finding his father like his brother was. âDean, umâŚâ His brother looked at the road before glancing at his brother.
âYouâre not going.â He muttered underneath his breath.
âThe interviewerâs in ten hours. I got to be there.â Sam tried to explain, but his older brother didnât want to hear anymore of it.
Dean scoffed and positioned himself around in the seat to keep the air from getting awkward. âYeah, yeah. Whatever. Iâll take you home.â He muttered underneath his breath, trying to disguise his disappointment with hardening anger.
The car fell into a silence between the two brothers when the conversation ended. Dean looked at the rear view mirror to see how you were doing after todayâs events; he caught a glimpse of your sleeping face in the backseat. You had his beloved leather jacket wrapped around your tiny body, he couldnât help but smile at the sight of you just passed out from todayâs adventures.
âPromise me youâll keep her safe.â Samâs voice broke the silence. Dean turned his head to look at his brother. âWhatever you do, make sure that demon doesnât manage to get her. She was really tough today, but I donât think she could handle being on her own.â
"Trust me, Sammy.â Dean gave a promise to his brother he was going to keep. âI plan on keeping her near me this time.â
~~~
You woke up a few hours later to the sound of mumbled voices and doors being slammed shut. Dawn was slowly rising again, making it a bit easier for you to make out the blurry vision of Sam leaning against the car while he talked to his brother one more time. You tried to get yourself up into a sitting position, but your body felt so heavy from all the running around you did today. You slouched back down and tugged at the jacket more to keep yourself warm again.
âYouâre leaving already?â You asked in a sleepy tone, your eyes barely able to keep themselves opened. He nodded, giving you a small smile as he walked over to the door you were near. He opened it up so you could crawl out and reach up, wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him into a tight hug. âIt was really good to see you again.â
âIt was good to see you, too,â Sam muttered into your hair with a small smile as he hugged you back.âI missed my best friend.â
âLetâs go Sleeping Beauty, we have a long drive ahead of us.â Dean said. You got into the passenger side of the Impala after he had said that and he drove away from the apartment building and back to the open road, heading to Black Bottle for the search to continue for his father, but you didnât know you were tagging along with him.
âSo, where are you taking me?â You asked him.
His lips stretched into a small smile. âI was actually planning on keeping you with me.â He said, dropping his right hand from the steering wheel to reach for yours. You held onto his hand as he gave it a gentle squeeze. âI donât want to lose you again.â
You smiled at the man, happy with the plan he had it mind. âI wonât go anywhere if you donât want me to.â
Happy with what I said, he let everything fall quiet for a few minutes; all you felt was the vibrations of the moving car and the radio. But when Dean yelled out, âSon of a bitch!â You knew something was wrong as the car suddenly jerked around into a rough u-turn. You had to clutch the seat to keep yourself from slamming against the door. It took you only a few seconds to realize that Dean was heading back to Stanford.
âListen Y/N, I want you to stay inside the car no matter what happens.â Dean instructed. You nodded your head, suppressing your fear as you mumbled out an okay.
Dean killed the engine and raced inside the building, leaving you alone with your racing mind and endless questions. Your heart was beating rapidly inside your chest with fear, wondering what the hell was going on. You turned your head to see the lights above you were flickering like crazy, before you slowly turned your eyes to the dashboard clock. Everything about this felt so familiar to you, but you couldnât figure out what it was.
Pretty soon, you saw Samâs apartment became engulfed into flames. You gasped as you frantically searched for any sign of Dean. A grueling ten seconds later, you saw him step outside the building with Sam, who was fighting and calling out someoneâs name, you wondered who he was calling after.
~~~
There were police cars surrounding the building, and after Dean had explained to you that Samâs girlfriend was in there and had died in the fire, you tried getting the boy to say something, but he kept silent. He just busied himself with taking apart a gun and reassembling it while Dean questioned the police to see if he could learn about what happened.
Dean came back after another few minutes, the look on his face was defeated, nobody had found Jessica, Samâs girlfriendâs body. It was as if she had disappeared into thin air. Sam violently threw the gun back into the trunk when he was done putting it back together, he looked at you and Dean, speaking up for the first time since all of this happened.
âWe got work to do.â
Pairing: Dean x reader
Warning(s): Mentions of abuse, angst, fluff, reader has brain damage
Character(s): Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, Castiel Novak, Y/N Y/L/N
Summary:Â Your mother marries an extremely abusive man, who abuses you to the point you get brain damage. You have a hard time with speech and learning all of the things you already learned before, but you have Dean by your side to help you every step of the way.
Word count: 1,210
The lobby to the hospital was full of patients waiting to be checked in. But concerning your conditions when Dean had carried you in, screaming for help, doctors and nurses had rushed you to the Emergency room, where they hooked you up with an IV bag. Fluids of morphine to help with the pain for when you woke up pumped through.
They x-rayed your whole body, finding that no bones were broken, but you would be extremely bruised for the next week or two. What they were concerned about was your brain. You were knocked pretty hard in the head. So everyone, including the Winchester brothers and Castiel had waited for you to wake up so the doctors could do some tests.
It took you almost two hours to finally rise from unconciousness. But when you did, you found yourself having trouble processing things. You could hear what the doctors were saying, but you didn't know what to say, or how to say anything.
"Ms. Y/L/N, are you feeling any pain at all?" One of the doctor's asked, your eyes slowly trailed over to the doctor. It took a while for the words to process inside of your mind. Everything was slow, your brain hurt, your entire head was throbbing, you opened your mouth to speak, but nothing was coming out. Your voice wasn't gone, you just didn't know how to pronounce a simple no. "Honey, talk to us."
Dean stood outside of the room you were in, his brother and Castiel standing behind him with curiosity running through their veins as they wondered what was going on. The door was shut, blocking any sound that anybody was making. He looked through the small squared window on the door, allowing him to peep into the room. He noticed that your mouth was moving. It was moving slowly. Confusion had spread across your face as you looked around the room, the two doctor's that were in the room with you glanced at each other all before one of them turned to the door, stepping out of the room to explain to the three men what was going on.
When the door shut behind the doctor, that's when Dean began asking questions. "What's going on with her, doc? Is she okay?" He asked. Genuine worry sounded in his voice as he watched as the doctor's face fell into a bit of sadness.
"She will be okay." The doctor explained to three men as she nodded her head. "She has bruising along her stomach and her side, but no broken bones. Our biggest concern though..." Her words trailed off. She didn't want to worry your boyfriend. She knew this would be a hard thing to deal with.
"What is it?" Dean asked, his patience was running thin. He just wanted to know what was going on with you.
The doctor inhaled a deep breath, all before she spoke. "Her stepfather kicked her pretty hard in the head. It damaged her brain." She said. The brothers and Castiel glanced at each other. Each one of them were worried, but they still focused their attention onto what the doctor was saying. "It's not permanent. It'll heal. But it could take months up to a year or two for her to get better. She is currently having trouble with her speech, the things people say to her, she is having a hard time processing. And you might have to teach her the things she had already learned before all over again, starting with walking, then writing, and then swimming and so on. Do not let her handle any knives or anything that is sharp until she is one hundred percent better."
Dean nodded his head at this information. He could feel his heart heavy in his chest as he tried his hardest to breathe. He looked back through the window and into the room. He could see your blank face as you stared at the wall. You had tears running down your face from the frustration and the confusion you were dealing with. You didn't know anything, any word you tried to get out, you struggled with. You couldn't even say your own name.
It was hard for Dean to see you like this. He wished there was some way to take all of this away, but he knew. He knew there wasn't anything he could do.
"How long is she going to have to stay here, doc?" Dean could hear his brother ask a question that was stuck in the back of everyone's mind.
"A week." The doctor said. "Just until her bruising is a bit better."
~~~
The entire week you were in the hospital, Dean had stayed. He had gone back to the bunker that first day to drop off his brother and Castiel and to pack up clothing for the next few days all before heading back to the hospital, where he would be spending the nights with you.
You didn't say anything to him. You either just slept, or stared at the wall. You couldn't bare yourself to eat actual food. You couldn't even say what you wanted to eat and that frustrated you.
So the doctor's would come up with a small bowl of Applesauce and some water with a straw.
The first time trying to eat your Applesauce, as you tried to put the spoon into your mouth, your hands were too shaky and you got Applesauce all over your hospital gown.
You fluttered your eyes shut and let out a sigh all before you tried again, just to make more of a mess. You dropped your spoon in the bowl in frustration all before balling your hand into a tight fist. You let out a frustrated cry, causing Dean to look away from the tv show that he was watching. He pushed himself out of the recliner that he was sleeping in and made his way over to you.
"Sweetheart, it's okay." Dean reassured you as he grabbed a napkin from the tray the doctor had brought up. He used it to wipe up the Applesauce you had spilt onto yourself all before throwing it into the tiny trash can near your bed. He then reached for the spoon and lifted it to your mouth. You looked up at him as though he was crazy. You weren't a baby. And it seemed he got your look as he spoke up again. "I want to help you. I'm going to help you get through this, I just-... need you to let me help you."
Your eyebrows furrowed as you allowed the words to slowly sink into your mind. It took a couple minutes, before you slowly nodded your head, opening your mouth for him to feed you.
So he did, he fed you the entire bowl of Applesauce and helped you take sips of your water. He stayed close to you the rest of the time, helping you drink some water all until you fell back asleep.
That's how it was all week. But he couldn't really help you with taking showers. That was your doctor's job. But he helped you with everything else and he planned on helping you every day after you checked out of the hospital.
