Ngl I hated blackstar after watching the show, he was loud and obnoxious and honestly just felt like a wannabe Naruto, then, I read the manga. AND OH MY GOD I love what they did with his character in the books and it just made me really appreciate the ship of blackstar x death the kid.
They just bring out the best in each other! They’re opposites and yet so good for each other just making each other grow stronger together in such a sweet way. THE WAY BLACKSTAR SAVED DEATH THE KID FROM THE MADNESS OH MY GOD… literally soulmates idc idc.
Soul eater hyper fixation is stealing all my brain power so gonna have to put NNSG aside for a while… it will return, it always does

y’all ever think abt how death the kid is like,,,, the character. ever. he’s a skateboarding emo teenager. he’s the literal son of death himself. he cries over being yelled at. he brought down an entire pyramid. he was showing off his sick skateboarding tricks because of a wicked hill in a desert and responded to someone saying he shouldn’t be showing off by replying, “look, another one. this one’s a no hander!” he loves his friends dearly and would do anything for them. he kicked a puppy because its eyelashes weren’t symmetrical.
