Flynn Rider for some reason reminded me always of Thomas Arclight, so I couldn't be helped but to draw this XD
I can imagine they being on a play where IV has Lugin's role and Rio as Rapunzel and every Rio's classmates, including Bronk crying throught the play and Shark bashing his head onto something and Kotori and Michael cheering them on XD

She soon Noticed to realise she was in Barian World, She soon Noticed a Reflective Baria Crystal behind her and she froze in horror, She had butterfly wings, with blueish-cyan antenna, her now was that of the other Barian Emperors, her Skin was purple, and she wearing a salmon, Yellow, and lime green dress. Her right Eye color was gold and her left her Duel Gazer Tattoo color of Greenish Blue, but Neither had pupils, and Her Duel Gazer tattoo was Present on both of her eyes, and on her chest Her Barian Chest Emblem, She was now a Barian, "No... no... I can't... be a Barian... what about Earth, I failed to Protect Yuma, Now I'm a Barian! What about The others, what about Nistro!?" She Cried before Suddenly falling down on one knee, "My Head... it feels Funny... Nistro is... is... who.. who is Nistro?" Suddenly a familiar Figure Touched Dextra's Back, it was Marin, Nash's Sister, "Nistro is gone Dextra, He and Several of Yuma's allies, Tried stopping us from getting to him, the others were Quattro, Nelson Andrews, Anna Kaboom, Roku, Kaze, Bronk Stone and..." She Stopped not wanting to tell Dextra that it was Her Dumon duelled, "a girl named.... Cathy..." she said, Pretending it was Cathy Katherine Dumon dueled and not Dextra, "and they were Enemies of Barian World" she Added, Dextra thought for a moment "Enemies of Barian World, I remember now! Were fighting to save Barian World!", "what about Nistro?" Marin Asked, Dextra thought, Her antenna twirling Blushingly, "Well if they Are gone now, I am glad, good riddance", "and what of the Humans" Asked Marin, "they mean nothing to me, I am a Barian, let me join you" said Dextra, She soon Wrapped her Butterfly wings around Marin, "Um, Dextra, what are you Doing?" the latter asked, "well it has been awhile Marin, I just wanted to fly you back to the Palace" Dextra Flirtingly, they arrived at the throne room, Dumon, Vector, Alito, Girag and Mizar were standing in front Surprised at Dextra's Presence, Especially Dumon, "Nash, I this innocent Barian wondering through Barian World" Marin said, Dextra looked up noticing Nash sitting on his throne with another Barian With him in a romantic pose, "Marin? Dextra lay in Marin's Bed thinking of only Marin, She was still thinking the name Nash gave her, "Bellatrix, that Name Sounds good", She can Only Fantasize about Marin, she dreamed she was dancing with her, "I'm yours Marin. We can be together" she said, "Indeed Bellatrix" Marin Said, Ironically Marin was fantasizing the exact same thing Awhile, Dextra in her Barian was sleeping in a way a Butterfly does, her antenna twitched as Marin woke her up, "Hey Bellatrix" she said, "Please perhaps call me Dextra when we are both alone" Dextra said flirtatiously, "Okay, anyway, I asked Nash if You and I went swimming in the Barian Sea And he said yes" Marin said, "Really?" Asked Dextra, "Really really" Said Marin.Later on Marin and Dextra went swimming together in the Barian Sea, Dextra relaxed in the Crimson water as she started to become comfortable her new life as a Barian, Marin soon rose up from the water, "Dextra come, I wanna tell you something" she said as she took Dextra under water, She held Dextra close and almost immediately kissed her. Dextra was surprised by this...

I know I never Dare to think of Marin and Bronk's duel, I felt seeing the Most beautiful Barian dueling Bronk was probably just a joke, but hearing her say Bronk's feelings for her were a Nuisance now, and seeing hoe Bronk crossdressed with Caswell before, made me wonder how Marin would feel the same way Bronk felt for her?

I really enjoyed the world that I created for this story. Our main character is Marin, the Seventh and Youngest Daughter of Abyss, King of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, and father of her and her six Older Sisters, Cathy, Anna, Jen, Summer, Dextra, and Kari. Marin has a pet Octopus, Nash, who she treats as a Younger brother, and her Three Cousins of the Three other Underwater Kingdoms are Dumon of the South Atlantic ocean, Vector of the North Pacific Ocean and Mizar of the South Pacific. Marin and her six sisters possesse the ability to from a mermaid into a human. On land is Duchess Tori Meadows, who went on a galleon for her birthday. The galleon sinks on that fateful night, but the Duchess washes up on shore, completely unharmed. She is found by her father. Having saved the Duchess and slept by her side and sung a song so beautiful until her father found her, Marin can’t bring herself to forget the human girl. Her heart is pulled back towards the shore, where a journey of pain, love and misery awaits her as she realises she is the prophcised Siren queen.

Rio as a Necrofriggian: for her I took another path, since Big Chill's design in Omniverse sucks, I decided to inspire in another artists works to make a more UAF like design for her, and she looks like those mikd'ity necrofriggians that appeared in UA

-Okay, first of all- BURN SCRAS. Queen was so long in the hospital after her fire accident, completely wrapped in bandages and there is literally nothing showing?? No, girl is a survivor and it shows. If the writers decide to put her in the hospital for like 75% of her screen time, then at least show the consequences that came out of it. She also can’t completely open her left eye anymore. It’s not blind, she just can’t completely open it.
-She also has PTSD from the incident and is afraid of fire ever since. She can stand it with loved ones around, but she‘ll never go alone near a fire again, because it gives her major flashbacks. (Rio isn‘t the only barian with PTSD. Honestly I think all of them have it, some more so than others for different reasons.)
-She is also officially a jock girl. We saw her rock every sport possible at school. I think in my redesign, she wouldn’t be in the drama club, but in a sports club, like football or basketball (probably even being captain). And for those wondering what her shirt says, it says „Heartland Academy“. The 48 actually being related to her star Merak.
-Although she is a confident queen, she still has some demons to deal with and isn’t really comfortable with showing ALL her scars (hence the sport leggings under her shorts). It actually took her a lot of time to go out again after being released from the hospital. But with the help of her family, especially Ryouga and Durbe and her friends, she‘s slowly healing.
-I also headcanon her as a lesbian. I confess to being a Rio x Anna shipper. Especially after seeing prompts and fanart of them bonding over burn and explosion scars. Love me some mechanic and jock lesbians.
-I think the Greek nationality explains itself, since she‘s Ryouga‘s twin. So if you want my reasoning for that, check out my Ryouga/Nasch redesign.
-Of course she has the sibling ring and the friendship bracelet with Ryouga and Durbe.
-Now to Merag. I tried to make her look like her barian form and also using lighter colours for her, since I used darker ones for Nasch. Also gave her the tiara she has in her barian form, because she is ROYALTY.
-I also gave Merag actually short hair and a long veil, to kinda give the illusion of long hair, because back then it was unusual for women to wear short hair. But she wanted it short, because she also practises sword fighting. Durbe was teaching her in private. She‘s actually better than Nasch at it and always kicks his ass in (sword) duels. This could also be a reason, why Rio is so frustrated at losing to Ryouga in card game duels. Because her soul was so used to winning against him.
-SHE‘S AN ORACLE. She was bestowed the gift of foresight by Apollo. She gets visions of the future. It’s mostly why she became head priestess. She also got them way less, when being reborn, because she and her soul had to get used to regularly getting future visions again. They could be big visions, like enemy‘s approaching or just small things. Like in the middle of doing something she suddenly spaces out before saying: „Oh my Abyss, Vector is going to fall down on the parking lot in 10 minutes, I gotta see that-“

My favourite Duel in the Series by far is Vector vs. Durbe and Merag
Because
1. Vector‘s Expressions and lines are the best as always
2. We get a cool magical girl transformation for Merag
3. We get to see Merag‘s and Nasch‘s Bond with Durbe a bit more! Because this is one of the only time we have seen such raw Emotion on them! When Durbe sacrificed himself we saw the heartbreak in their eyes Like Nasch‘s Reaction is just pure fuel for my Tomoshipping Fire
4. And of course the heartbreaking farewell of the twins
I just love this duel, because we see so much emotion from Nasch and Merag, NOT Ryouga and Rio!
They are fighting for Barian World and are shedding tears, when their longest and most loyal friend Durbe dies, which tells us so much about their bond BEFORE their time as Rio and Ryouga
And that’s exactly what I want!
Give me more Infos about their Relationship with the other Barians!
Okay, hear me out, the Tomoshipping Brainrot is hitting so hard right now-
Because imagine:
We saw in the school festival episode, that Rio is in the Theater Club or just does theatrical plays at school. So, what if they‘d want to do some medieval romance play about a knight and a princess and Rio gets the role of the princess. She goes to Durbe to help her rehearse her lines and-
He‘s just so good?? At playing the knight??
Because he WAS once a knight, so he just FEELS the role!
So she asks him to officially play the role, but he‘s a bit unsure. Because it IS a romance with kiss scenes and all, so he‘d rather talk to his boyfriend about it first. Kissing someone else, even if it IS just Rio, feels weird to him and like he‘s cheating or something. But Nash tells him, that it’s no problem (solely because it’s Rio, if it were anyone else he‘d be very against it). It’s just a play and it’s just his sister. He knows that their bond goes way deeper than this, so it shouldn’t be a problem, right?
Oh, but it IS. At least for Nash.
So, after some thinking Durbe takes the role and we skip to the evening of the play. And Nash is just sitting there in the front rows and just absolutely torn between a feeling of pride and jealousy. Pride, because look at his boyfriend, he‘s doing so great and he’s so awesome and acting so romantically-
And jealous because he isn’t acting romantically towards HIM. He can even hear the hushed dreamy sighs of the girls around him in the audience, gushing about HIS boyfriend and that certainly isn’t lifting his mood.
So through the whole play he‘s just sitting there pouting and frowning
And part time cringing about the dialogue, but he can‘t say anything because 1) He knows he was WORSE in the mushy letters he wrote to Durbe in their past life and 2) He doesn’t want another shoe thrown at him.
But then in one act the knight does a monologue about how much he loves the princess. And while Durbe is supposed to look into the distance, he just STARES Nash directly in the eyes the whole time while he is talking about his undying, forever eternal love. He might even slip up and accidentally say he instead of she once, but he corrects himself so fast only Nash notices.
Nash has to fan himself with the play pamphlet, because he just grows such a hot blush on his cheeks, it’s so bad. HE‘S down bad. Just completely whipped. Can‘t even remember his own name for a second-
Then later after the play is done and they finally get to talk in private, the convo went a bit like this:
Nash: You were incredible, love!
Durbe: Aw, thanks! But it was all thanks to you!
Nash: Huh? Why?
Durbe: Because I was just always thinking of you! :3
Nash: …Say what now-
So, yeah turns out, that in every single romance scene Durbe was thinking about Nash. He pretended he was talking to Nash, talking about Nash, kissing Nash, etc.
And how many slip ups he had at rehearsals, because he was always saying Nash‘s name by accident.
And while he‘s talking about this, Nash is just
So in love.
Like just stands there, face red and thinking omghewasthinkingaboutmethewholetime
And then he just tells Durbe to shut up, because he needs to kiss him so bad right now.
