Especially in Metro 2035. I'm quite impressed with how often he risks himself and his mission to save humanity to help out a doomed stranger.

i'll never understand people who say book artyom wasn't empathetic at all. bro was the only person to genuinely give a shit about other people's wellbeing. he always fought and stood up for the weaker and it looked like he was the only one to get fucking angry when literal children were being killed all around him.
