Hello dear friends, I thought tonight I would present a black and white close up photo of The Lost Boy Of Venice. This photo just gives you a closer look at the sculpture as I bring this project to a nearing finish.

Hello dear friends, tonight may I present to you the pink MMV Sketch design. I created this from a photograph of my sculpture MMV, as of late I've been trying out different ideas for perspective print designs.
Some designs have worked and some haven't, in the future this might become one of the designs that I go on to produce as canvas wrap prints in white frames.
I've been able to dedicate a little more time again to my new sculpture The Lost Boy Of Venice. So with luck that should be the next photo I'll be able to present on here.

Red just seems natural in autumn. But this red was alive. And not a very friendly creature. It peeled itself of and started attacking. With the very effective active red crane in overdrive. Swinging wildly as a fast forward movie. Motions and movements as fast as a Raptor with rabies. The little gathered group of humans was swallowed in one big sweep. In the fragment of a second. And then they were all red. Melting, literally, into that autumns somewhat rare more-red-than-ever months. Instantly becoming part of the natural decomposition. Rapidly decaying. And for the helpful worms to get into action, the frantic cranes threw around dirt and soil. So the bodies soon was unmarked graves. Some so taken by surprise, not expecting the process being in almost ridiculous at least grotesque uptempo speed. And ever accelerating. Beyond what is possible. Those few people turning up in lalaland to watch the red in action, was a buried bag of bones with no bag before their skulls could say "why red?" Indeed a good question. The answer was just a silent but frightening collective growl from all the spreading red. And cranes roaring up through the sky, leaving open wounds pouring out, of course, massive vomit of red. Red was soon the colour of the first flakes of snow; and even the wind was howling in red. A few months later the universe was monochrome. The past and the future don't exist. They literally don't exist.
What does exist is this thin sliver of a moment that we call now. Just now, wedged between a past and a future that aren't even real. I know this. I know this..
But tell me, why is the past so real in my dreams?
I woke up. Outside in the distance I heard roosters crowin̈g, and I remembered where I was. I felt my dreams vanishing into nowhere. Kind mercy.
Dim morning light gently poured in through the curtains casting gray shadows across our bed. I stretched out my legs and gave my entire body a deep stretch, squeezing out the last of the demons. I looked up at the clock. 5 am.
We sleep together on a huge bed. My wife and myself with our two young kids nestled in between us. Piled together. Filipino style.
I quietly made my way over to my wife's side of the bed and climbed in with her.
Early morning is our time.
Time is real. I know it is. But it plays with me.
Time is something that happens on the outside but on the inside. inside our minds, there is no time. On the inside there is only now.
Now, is eternity.
It's all we know.
Wedged in between a past and a future that aren't even real.

So, I have some truly odd quirks. When having difficulty with fractions I could quickly practice my whenever I’d see a digital block with the time and break it down to the smallest fraction (ex. 12:15 because four-fifths) I’d practice my piano songs while sitting at my desk in school to the point where I couldn’t take real notes, and to this day I have issues with inanimate objects not having feelings as food does turn bad has been found to respond to music and toys have faces!
Some movies petrify us for life, but some just confuse or differ our thinking. Bedknobs and Broomsticks and Mary Poppins were early childhood films that I think of as somewhat wackadoo films that were colorful, fun, exciting and maybe lead to some quirky thoughts or habits. Maybe not as funky but later movies such as The Indian Cupboard and the Toy Story franchise should rank high as to reasons why children may have extended imaginations, especially considering imaginary friends or spiritual value given to inanimate objects.
While some of my quirks come from me, and some were extended by stories or films, I love these films just the same. While the magical series almost always involve “muggles” or non-magic folk who have no idea that magic exists, that provide another question I can never scientifically or purely decide on, these are the stories that show either everyone is unaware of and occur if you just pay close enough attention or just luck out in finding the right key--
giving a bit of wonder or magic into your life even as you are old and one of the best part of films.
