this is the link to sign the hands up act. it would punish police for shooting unarmed citizens. please sign and share it. being black shouldnât be a crime in america.
Hey folks, this is not your typical post about incorrect quotes.
I want to address a serious issue today, and most of you probably know whatâs been going on in the US.
The killing of George Floyd started another serious and necessary debate on Police brutality in the states. (And I think not just there. Every country is affected in some way or another.)
My heart doesnât ache, no. My heart is bleeding and crying out of pain about what has been going on for days now. What people have been going through for years and years. This is not the first case of police brutality against POC, nor the second, and it probably isnât the last one.
It happened so many times already that I canât count them all. Our world has lost so many beautiful souls to this never-ending issue. Additionally to this, we lost so many brothers and sisters of color who were part of the LGBTQ+ community too. Even though it is pride month, I canât enjoy and celebrate it as much as I want to.
But now is the time to act. Now more than ever! We all have a voice, and Iâm sure as hell using mine. And I want you to do the same.
40 Ways you can help right now shows you different techniques and approaches to support the #blacklivesmatter movement in various forms.
Everyoneâs able to do something. Even if you donât have the money to donate, or youâre not from the US, share articles, draw attention to it in some way. Being silent about this puts you on the side of the offenders.
I understand that I will never understand. However, I stand with all of you!!! Credit goes to @sfbucketlist on instagram for these 40 ways you can help right now.
As many of you may know there have recently been numerous protests going on in several states around America. The protests were triggered by the murder of George Floyd, a black man, at the hands of a white police officer.
Black Lives Matter is an international human rights movement specifically fighting against systematic racial discrimination from police and other military, and striving for justice for all black lives which have been taken or negatively changed due to Americaâs law enforcement. This is a problem everywhere but right now American protestors need support.
To support the Black Lives Matter movement including the protests currently undergoing in America and all over the world, please take the time to read through this carrd which links things you can do to help such as petitions, donations and spreading information.
If youâre able to, you can also donate to various freedom funds to bail out protesters:
Atlanta Solidarity Fund
Black Visions Donations
Columbus Freedom Fund
Black Lives Matter Houston
Milwaukee Freedom Fund
PDX Protest Bail Fund
Minnesota Freedom Fund
If you or someone you know are involved in the protests then please look after yourselves! Cover your face and try not to reveal your identity.
For people who want to share media covering the protests, please be careful that the protestersâ faces or identifying features are hidden, so as they donât get recognised by law enforcement.
this google doc includes a list of petitions to sign, resources to help educate yourself and others, organizations to donate to, and contacts of law officials to get in touch with to express your support for the george floyd and black lives matter movements. this includes ways to help even if you donât live in america. please read it and support the movement.Â
use your voice. use every platform you have, no matter how big or how small. nothing will change if you just sit there and watch. if you think youâre the exception, youâre not. remaining indifferent will only support the oppressor. do something.
write to your legal representatives. express your support for legislation that would bring justice to the unarmed civilians whoâve been murdered by law enforcement officers. demand for justice.Â
call 612-324-4499 ă Ą this is a hotline that will coach you on how to get connected with the people who can arrest the officers that murdered george floyd.Â
create serious conversation. stop demeaning people who disagree with your philosophies on how to overcome. it is useless and no better than the practices of the oppressor to silence. we need to listen to each other with respect and really consider how we can combine our perspectives to create practical change.Â
please feel free to add any links or resources or information that you think will be helpful and also reblog to spread awareness. the systems we are fighting against were literally created to oppress marginalized communities and therefore will not go down without a fight. we need to collectively stand up and do something about it.Â
i am not black, but i see you.
i am not black, but i hear you.
i am not black, but i mourn with you.
i am not black, but i see the injustice that you face.
i am not black, but i see the fear for your sons and your daughters. your brothers and sisters.
i am not black, but i will stand with you.
inaction is also an action. and i will not stay silent.
i donât see your color. i appreciate and honor your color and your roots and experiences. you are valued and respected.

You know what doesnât sit right and will NEVER sit right...
How George Floyd, a good innocent black man went to the store to buy things who then was murdered by a police officer for suspected forgery.
Then the next day Peter Manfredonia, a white armed serial killer who was on the run across 4 states, was caught and arrested peacefully.
And how black and black ally protesters in Minneapolis protesting for the arrest of the officers who killed George Floyd, were attacked by the police. They were peaceful.
But a few months ago, white people stormed governments buildings in Michigan protesting the quarantine because they wanted a haircut and the police did nothing to them. They were armed.
The problem is clear as water. WHITE PRIVILEGE AND RACISM. It exists and is real. Deny it? Youâre the problem. Donât say or do anything about it? Youâre the problem. Abuse your white privilege? Youâre the problem. Donât see a problem with all this? YOURE THE PROBLEM.
CRY WITH THE BLACK COMMUNITY. MOURN WITH THEM. STAND ALONG SIDE WITH THEM. FIGHT FOR THEM. BECAUSE BLACK LIVES ARE IMPORTANT AND THEY ABSOLUTELY FUCKING MATTER.
The mainstream media will tell you that protestors were not peaceful & that they are the aggressors and inciting violence.
The protest was peaceful until this man started smashing windows. This is 2 videos combined. The first part I was just made aware of, the second half Iâve been fuming about all night.
Do not listen to what the media is telling you. THIS WAS NOT A PROTESTER. PROTESTERS TRIED TO STOP THIS.
After this happened thatâs when police started throwing tear gas and flash bangs. That escalated things and the more aggressive the police got, the more angry everyone else got.
Police were NOT pointing and targeting at people that were being aggressive, they targeted the people protesting peacefully. One group was sitting on the ground with their arms up and were tear gassed.
Donât let the media spin this shit. That motherfucker was there with the sole purpose of doing this. Itâs obvious by being deliberately hidden & how methodical he was in his distruction.
The protestors donât want this.
Just because some of your faves didnât make the cut doesnât mean a group will flop. They arenât the only ones to try their hardest and give their all for a chance? To say the finished group will flop without that one or two people is demeaning to the rest that did make it.
Iâve been in the kpop fandom for so long. Do you know how many survival shows Iâve watched? How many times Iâve cried over potential members not making it?!? Did I stop and be like oh too bad so and so didnât make it âcancelledâ. Fuck no! The rest of the boys that I adore are still there! They deserve the same amount of passion and attention that youâre now only focusing on the cut person.
Maybe itâs because Iâm older or because Iâm Multifandom but I feel I have a slightly better perspective because now instead of just getting one new group Iâll potentially get another group (or solo act) when the former trainee debuts elsewhere. Joining a different label doesnât make them any less friends/family. It just makes the reunions that much more exciting.
Idk, Iâm just annoyed donât mind me. People are going to love the group or hate the group throughout their existence anyways. Not sure why I let it get to me in this moment. I have better things to do with my morning.

Just try to remember that as the rest of you go on with your rants and boycotts...
friendly reminder that while cube sucks and they donât need any support, PENTAGON IS IN THE MIDST OF A COMEBACK. theyâve lost one member permanently and one member is on break because of his health.Â
please please please donât let them flop. donât let them walk away without a win. these boys work so hard. wooseok, hui, and eâdawn produced this album themselves. almost all of the members have song writing credits.Â

Before the spring comes, before it gets warm, do you want to meet up? Before the dawn comes, when everyoneâs still asleep, letâs meet up.
Honestly, being able to watch you, being able to look after you, is nice. Being able to watch you smiling, just being able to look after you, is easier for me.
I know it sounds stupid, but Iâm scared to stand in front of you. Even if you canât understand me, itâs okay. Itâs okay. Thereâs still quite a bit of time left until spring.
Honestly, the spring coming again, the weather getting warm again, is something I hate. Just watching you smile from far away makes my heart ache.
I know it sounds stupid, but Iâm scared to stand in front of you. Even if you canât understand me, itâs okay. Itâs okay. Thereâs still quite a bit of time left until spring.
They say spring will come early this year, even though the cold, frozen winter is just as itâs always been. Donât worry about what to do, Iâm okay. Spring will come again for me, too.
Iâm scared to stand in front of you, because you might start feeling the way I feel.* When I forget my tears, my sadness, when the spring comes for me, then, then, then⌠ThenâŚ
