How science may be used to create a happy ending
This is a reference to this post where I theorize that the show is a story written by Mike to change the ending.
While Mike may always be late, this one late decision he will make may actually alter the past (and save Will). AKA How I think the writers may be utilizing concepts in quantum mechanics to explain time travel.
To start, I just want to say that I do think that concepts in quantum mechanics are used on a much grander scale within Stranger Things. For example, there are frequent references to waves (electromagnetic, and water), and the reoccurring theme of being spied on may be alluding to how observation can affect light photons… and more. The mere act of observation can change whether or not light photons are waves or particles! This was discovered through The Double Slit experiment. Unobserved = light acts as a wave, observed = light acts as a particle.
John Wheeler made another experiment in response to this called The Wheeler’s Delayed Choice experiment. Basically, in this experiment, the observer makes the choice late whether or not to observe (after the light photon would be forced to be a wave or a particle). Yet, that “late” choice still managed to affect whether or not the light was a wave or a particle… so it’s as if the light photon already knew the observer’s decision before it was made. Keep in mind I’m really trying to dumb down these complex concepts… so sorry if it’s still confusing or not fully accurately stated.
Basically, within quantum mechanics, time does not seem to work the same. A late choice can change the past…
Wheeler’s late choice may alter the past…
The light photon (Will) has the capability to “see into the future” and know the observer (Wheeler)’s decision before it was made. Thus, it knows whether or not to be a wave or a particle (or to rather to stay or to go).
I believe Wheeler’s decision is about the creation of a letter written late by Mike that can alter the past and change the ending. His ending. Making it happy and gay.
Will is in a superposition of both “stay” and “go”.
Mike makes the decision to write the love letter, even though it was “too late” (believing Will is dead).
Will “sees into the future” and finds Mike’s letter to him.
Will chooses to “stay” before Mike even creates the letter.
I talk about the letter stuff more here and here. I actually attempted to fill out that incomplete letter the writers posted years ago utilizing many context clues within the show.
Much like the letter that Marty wrote to Doc in Back to the Future, I think this late letter may actually save Will's life…

Don't put anything but water in anyone's eyes for pepper spray. Not milk. Not antacid. Pepper spray is not an acid and a base will not neutralize it. Nothing will neutralize it. You're not trying to neutralize it; you're trying to remove it. That is how an eye flush works. Just flush it out, away from the nose. It'll still hurt for a while even after it's flushed out.
Spray it from a sports bottle, like cyclists use. A nice wide stream will prevent too much concentration of force that could hurt they eye. Don't use a spray bottle. If you poke a hole in a regular bottle cap, try to make sure it's large enough for a good stream of water to push the pepper spray out of the eye.
The eyes will be squeezed shut reflexively. Don't jam your fingers into someone's eyes to open them. Instead, once you have made sure they're not wearing contacts, press your thumb against the lower edge of the browbone aka the top edge of the eye socket, above the eye, and roll your thumb to pull the eyelid up. (If they are wearing contacts, they have to take them out and throw them away. If they can't, then just guide them to safety but do not flush the eyes and do not attempt to remove the contacts yourself.)
Putting antacids, milk, etc into eyes can cause infection, trigger allergies, or scratch the cornea. Use water. It doesn't matter whether it's saline. It doesn't have to be sterile, as long as it's clean enough that it could be used as drinking water.
ICE tried another raid in the LA area (Paramount, California) and were, again met with resistance by the community leading to this iconic moment of a skater shrugging off rubber bullets and tear gas to slowly walk away before flipping off ICE

hi so um, i am a little bit nervous to do this, but i think i can not stay in this fandom because of the way some people are behaving and i want to warn people about it… in the first day i made this account, 2 different people messaged me to warn me about a user named henrysglock and his friends and told me that they were doing bad things and that they are bad people
i am going to school for journalism next year and i am not new to fandom drama and callouts (and also i am a little bit nosy lol) so of course i wanted to do my own research, especially today when the internet is so full of lies and popularity contests and ai and fake news. so i looked on henrysglock’s page to read his posts and see what he was saying and i could not find any of the obvious proof that these people were talking about
i looked and looked, and they were sending me screenshots that a lot of the time looked like they were misinterpreting what was being said, or ignoring other posts that i saw where henrysglock said publicly that he did not like the things people were accusing him of liking. if you have not heard, these people were trying to convince me that henrysglock was a rape apologist and a pedophile because he talks about how henry and brenner have a weird dynamic in stranger things, and they also do not like that he talks about the weird things patty newby does in tfs
henrysglock talks a lot about analysis of stranger things and the show has always had a lot of sexual assault coding and sexual innuendos and stuff like that especially with stuff like the lab and henry in particular. all the way back in season 1 they were doing and saying things in the show that implied sexual things were happening to eleven in the lab (i think almost everyone who has seen stranger things has been shown the 3-legged brenner/papa drawing that was on eleven’s wall), and will was literally raped by the upside down and then the mind flayer in season 2, and henry as an orderly in season 4 has his long monologue about conformity and it is heavily implied that he was used to create the other lab children, some of them when he was still a teenager, which i don’t think i need to explain what that implies. however, that is all metaphors and symbolism. the sexual stuff did not actually happen, but implying it makes it easy to send the message that the lab is bad and dangerous for the people in it. it is about taking away their autonomy and being in control of them
the people who messaged me seemed to think that henrysglock talking about this stuff from the show meant he is supporting it, but he is just not shying away from talking about the gross things that the writers put into the show because it makes the show more interesting. i really enjoy how much the series uses subtext so i like that henrysglock is talking about it. a lot of the time when henrysglock talks about this stuff, he says how much he dislikes it or how uncomfortable it makes him. it makes me uncomfortable too, but it is still interesting to talk about. i do not like sanitizing my discussions about a messy show just because some people want to ignore it, and henrysglock seems to have that same idea
so all of these people are telling me these things about henrysglock, but i am not seeing any of it, so i messaged henrysglock myself to ask him what was going on and if he had more information (or if he would say something that would prove these people and their warnings right and i just could not find anything publicly). he was very nice and apologized that i was being bothered because of him, and he sent me links and screenshots of some old and new interactions with people who ended up being some of the people who were messaging me. i did not say anyone’s names (i will post screenshots for proof) henrysglock brought these people up by himself, and showed me that they were acting really really weird and obsessed with him and (in my opinion) deliberately misinterpreting the things he was saying on his page. he told me that this warning thing has happened to some of his other mutuals too so he was able to easily figure out who it was who was messaging me, even though i never confirmed it
to me, it feels like these people want to have a reason to dislike henrysglock that is more than just a difference in opinion. and they want to make him seem like a bad person so other people do not talk to him and instead become friends with their group. but that means that they are lying about henrysglock and his friends and blowing things way out of proportion, in my opinion, and tricking people into thinking they are right when they are not
i originally was not going to say anything publicly, because a couple people asked me not to, and i want to respect that, but i have learned some concerning things about at least one of the people who messaged me and i feel like i have to say something so that other people can draw their own conclusions and maybe try looking into these stories themselves instead of just blindly believing what they are told by someone else or being unfairly tricked
i was already confused because all of the “proof” i was being shown did not clearly say that henrysglock was any of the bad things they said, but they would not listen to me when i said it could be interpreted other ways or pointed out when he contradicted their idea of him. they kept trying to convince me that henrysglock was actually bad and kept trying to send me more proof, but it was all the same stuff that had other logical explanations
and then i was sent fake screenshots claiming to be private discord conversations from henrysglock and his friends. the person who sent them to me did not know they were fake though. i am not going to say who this person is because they seemed genuinely upset when i pointed out that they were fake, but that is what really made me start to wonder if everything being said was a big lie, and it made me suspicious of the people who were messaging me. misinterpreting what is being said is one thing, but these people were making up outright lies and fabricating evidence to act as “proof” for their drama, or at least spreading it around without actually looking at it closely first to make sure it was real
here are screenshots of my messages with this person and the fake screenshots they sent me. they contain transphobic messages claiming to have been sent by henrysglock and then is friend aemiron
i use discord a lot to talk to my friends, and as soon as i saw these, i thought that they looked sort of weird. i studied them and really tried to debunk if they were fake by opening my discord and comparing the layout. some of the formatting is a little bit weird to the naked eye, but there is obvious evidence that they are fake when you look at the text size of each message. in the same screenshot there are multiple different text sizes, like some messages are smaller than others. you can change text size in discord, but it does not make sense to do that in this context. also, henrysglock and his friends have posted screenshots of their discord chats publicly, and none of them ever looked like these. you can go on henrysglock’s page and look at them for yourself if you want, but here are links to some of his posts X X
they always have colors for their names, even in their really old messages, or they use fun fonts or silly nicknames. none of them have also ever used those icons
if that is not convincing though, just look at the messages in the second screenshot of discord. all of the messages are from july 2024, and then suddenly the last one is from january 2024. so unless time travel is real, then someone messed up when they were trying to frame henrysglock for being a bad person
and if you want even more proof, i told henrysglock about these, because it is obviously concerning and kind of scary that someone would spend the time doing this, and he is trans and even also uses neopronouns. i got his permission to share these because he has also posted them publicly on his tumblr. he also sent me a screenshot from one of his private chats with friends where he explained why he removed the neopronouns from his blog description, and then he still got picked on anyway
i was not going to name names, or even post anything publicly, but then the one really concerning person started to get kind of aggressive with me in our messages, started telling me outright lies and half truths, and then started making public posts about some of the situation. that person is elliot newbycomics who used to go by another username, i think elijbclawz like his instagram. i told him about the fake screenshots and he said he had never seen them before. however, it does not make sense for his friend to tell me his name unless it was true, or unless they are having a fight or something. the person who sent me the screenshots mentioned elliot by name before they even sent me the screenshots, so either elliot did actually send them, or this person is throwing elliot under the bus for no reason at all. i think we can agree that the latter does not make a lot of sense, and it is at least enough to make me suspicious of elliot and what else he might be lying about or who he is lying to. even if he did not make the screenshots, he may have been sending them around, which means he was still spreading outright lies about henrysglock
i will post some of my messages with elliot below, but i will explain it from the beginning first
i made my account on here last friday night (may 23) because i was tired of a lot of the drama i was seeing on instagram and tiktok in the stranger things fandom and i wanted to talk about tfs because i saw it as my high school graduation gift and loved it! when i woke up the next morning, i had messages from 3 people. one was the person who sent me the screenshots, who was very nice and just wanted to welcome me to the fandom and talk about tfs. the other 2 was another person and elliot
both of these people said they just wanted to warn me about henrysglock so i would not have to see the bad things he was posting. the first person was at least considerate enough to ask me first if i wanted to hear about it, but elliot immediately began talking about things without checking if i was prepared for it, which was fine in the end, but what if it had really upset me? and like i said, i decided to go looking on my own for the proof of what he was saying, and i did not find anything, so i said this to him because i was really confused about what he was saying
i told elliot i was a little confused and asked some more questions and said i thought maybe he was misinterpreting things and explained what they looked like to me, and then he replied with some more stuff but no actual proof or screenshots of any posts, just talking a lot about henry being 14 and brenner being 31 in tfs but ignoring where i said that henrysglock made them both adults and also henry is a 35ish year old adult in the show
i will admit that when i replied the second time it was really long and rambley because i was very confused and felt like i was being lied to by the other person i was talking to. they told me that there was rape in henrysglocks henry and brenner fic on ao3, but i read it and that is not true at all. they are adults the entire time, they do not meet until henry is over 21, and it is a modern au where the lab does not exist and brenner is just a regular psychologist, and everything is consensual the whole time. i am fine with people not liking henry and brenner as a couple (i do not really like it either), but i am not fine with people lying and saying henrysglock is a pedophile and rape apologist and abuse apologist when he never supports those things and has no evidence of ever talking about it like it is good or okay
if you read any of henrysglock's analysis posts, or even just his really long one on ao3 here X he says many times that he does not like what is going on between henry and brenner. just because he is talking about it, it does not automatically mean he thinks it is good like these people were trying to tell me
so i sent elliot my long messages, including mentioning the fake screenshots, how other people were making me uncomfortable, and that i was really confused because it felt like i was being lied to, but i did not want to break my promise and talk about it publicly, but he was the only other person who had messaged me so i thought it would be safe to talk to him and he would help clear things up. but when he replied, it felt like he did not read my messages at all. he didn’t acknowledge anything except for saying that he would find more evidence of henrysglock saying bad things. i had to ask him again about the screenshots and he said “what screenshots” like i hadn’t just sent a whole message about them, which i thought was really rude and disrespectful when he had started this conversation with me and dragged me into the drama
he said he had never seen them, which i would have accepted, because it would still mean that someone out there was lying about henrysglock, and i was ready to move on from elliot or try asking the other person again if they were sure they got the screenshots from elliot (they could not show me proof because they said that elliot deleted the messages with the screenshots, which is suspicious in my opinion as well), but then elliot said some things that did not make sense or that were untrue. he said that he had never talked to henrysglock on discord, but that is not what i said. i said that he had allegedly had screenshots of henrysglock’s private chats and he would not even need discord in order to get them. he then said that he doesn’t even use discord, but later i learned this was not entirely true. i decided to look at his instagram because maybe i could join the smaller tfs fandom there because he said they were all cool on there unlike my experience with the whole stranger things fandom. and so when i was looking at his account, i saw some posts from him that showed screenshots of him in discord from may
i was confused and upset and asked why he lied to me, and he said that he technically did have a discord but just did not use it very much. but in his initial message he implied that he did not use discord at all, so i told him it was suspicious that he did not say that clearly the first time, and he seemed surprised why i would think that is suspicious, even though it is obvious, especially on top of all the other exaggerations and lies. it felt like he was just trying to backpedal and act like he was the victim
when i said that this behavior was weird and scary, he became condescending to me and asked why i was scared because it was “just people on the internet” but if it was just people on the internet then why was he trying so hard to convince me that henrysglock was a bad person? he is contradicting himself and it is suspicious and it makes me not trust that he is being truthful or actually kind
he also said many times that this was just a warning and i can do whatever i want with the information, but he kept trying to convince me really hard that henrysglock was a bad person and kept saying he would get more posts when he could have just moved on himself. he became very annoyed that i kept asking questions and that i had turned it into a “debate” when all i was doing was trying to understand and figure out what was really going on and why he did not like henrysglock because i could not find anything he was talking about and he just kept saying the same things over and over that were lies or exaggerations, so of course he did not convince me
i also just started to get really worried about henrysglock and his friends, because i saw on henrysglock’s page that one of his mutuals deleted their account because they kept getting harassed by people in this group who hates henrysglock and i was mutuals with her too so i came back to her account deleted and learned what happened. that made me really upset and so i wanted to try and get elliot to see where i was coming from and try to see my point of view, but he is very stubborn and does not want to listen to any evidence or other opinions
elliot then sent me screenshots of one of henrysglock’s other fan fictions, i think trying to claim it was a sexual scene between henry and brenner when henry was 12. but i read that fic too, and it is a canon divergent fic about mr clarke and henry and that scene was specifically a negative flashback to henry’s time in the lab when he was 12. the fic is very much like canon just if henry had escaped when he was a teenager and this flashback scene is almost exactly like the flashbacks eleven has of the lab when she is being dragged away by guards and yelling papa over her shoulder before getting punished, and it is very similar to the way brenner cradles eleven’s face in his hands in a way that is very uncomfortable. i guess elliot was trying to say that henrysglock’s fic was romanticizing it or something but it is literally just like a scene from the actual show, so i did not see the problem with it, and i did not appreciate elliot trying to twist the truth to fit his incorrect idea
when i said this to him he got a little bit snippy with me and asked why i was so adamant about defending henrysglock, but i do not think i have to keep explaining that i don’t like people who lie and slander people for made up reasons. he then said that he did not want to talk about it anymore and i can do whatever i want with this information, but to please stop messaging him because he said i made him uncomfortable by “stalking” his instagram, which i explained to him was not what i was doing like i explained earlier above. it is especially funny that he said i was stalking his page when henrysglock showed me evidence of elliot block evading or getting his friends to block evade for him to take screenshots of henrysglock’s posts and post them on his own account X. elliot is clearly projecting, but i did not say that to him. i said i was sorry and that i was just still confused but i would leave him alone if that is what he wanted. i even unfollowed him so i would not interact with him at all and make him uncomfortable
then a little bit later he messaged me again asking why i thought it was okay to ship henry and brenner. i replied that i already answered that in our conversation and i was not going to get into it again because he had asked me to stop talking to him and i wanted to respect that. he then said that he was going to interpret that as me shipping them and sarcastically said thanks. i then sent him a screenshot of the very first reply i sent him where i said i do not like brenner ships and that now i was going to block him because i do not like that he is lying and making things up about me too and not listening to what i am saying, and i blocked him
this behavior was very weird and unsavory and mean, in my opinion. this elliot person does not seem like a good person and i think that people need to be careful when interacting with him. he seems very entitled i think because he is a somewhat popular account and gets upset when people do not agree with him completely, even if he says he does not care. so if he is going around warning people about henrysglock and making up lies, then i think i am allowed to make a post warning people who already know him and new fans to maybe be careful and think about the things he has said critically and do research yourself, because again and again he has been lying to me, trying to trick me, and misinterpreting things and refusing to see any other argument than his own
now i also want to talk about that other person who i mentioned. this person i am a little hesitant to say the name of, but they seem like they are not a nice person and they are spreading a lot of negative things about henrysglock as well that are wrong, and based on my research, i think they were the first person to start looking at henrysglock’s fan fiction to try and tear him down. that is imanopossum
they messaged me first just asking if i was aware of henrysglock and if i wanted to know about what he has said and done. they then said a lot of stuff that was similar to elliot, so i did not really believe it/i was confused why they were making it such a big deal, and i tried discussing that with them. we then talked about tfs for a little while where they told me that things were different in their viewing of it (patty did not push henry down in the stage accident scene, henry apparently agreed to kiss her in the school play rehearsal, etc.) which was confusing to me because when i saw it, henry seemed uncomfortable during that scene and patty was definitely scared of him at the end of the play, and henrysglock has posted screenshots and videos of the west end show where both of those things happen too. they did not really have a response for me when i said that broadway and west end both had these elements
this was a red flag to me because it felt like they were not willing to see another point of view without arguing. i told them that this feels like it is up to different interpretations and decided to move on, because while i thought that patty’s behavior was weird sometimes, others might not, and that is kind of the whole point of why she was written that way. they seemed to appreciate that i said that, but i thought it was interesting that i had to say it first and they just kept trying to argue with me until i ended it
so then i talked to henrysglock, like i said, and he told me about some interactions with this person that he had in the past. the main one is these posts here X X X but i could not find the original posts involved by imanopossum because i think they might have deleted them, which is a little bit suspicious and concerning like they are trying to make it seem like henrysglock bothered them out of nowhere. especially too because when it started, henrysglock blocked imanopossum so that he would not have to talk to them, and imanopossum decided to mock him for it instead of being a mature person and moving on. imanopossum then went out of their way to read a fic they knew they would not like and then posted a critique about it, only to get upset when henrysglock rightfully posted a response to it once he was made aware of it
imanopossum grossly misunderstood henrysglock’s fic and has decided to spread lies about it. they were the one who started saying that it was a rape fic with henry as a child, but that is not true. like i said before, the fic is a modern au where they both meet as adults and henry is over 21 and brenner is in his 30s, and it is fully consensual the whole time and the lab doesn’t exist and brenner is a normal guy
imanopossum also claimed that the fic was transphobic because henrysglock was allegedly fetishizing being trans and using it for the kink involved in the fic. henrysglock is trans himself, like i said before, and i am also trans, and i did not see any issue with the way he wrote the fic. it felt very real and it was not fetishy at all. is it so bad that a trans person think they are attractive in being trans? do you think being trans is so gross that no one is allowed to think it is an attractive trait? because that is what it sounds like to me
they also said a really weird thing about the sex being “physically heterosexual” which is… a crazy thing to say to a trans person about a trans guy having sex with another man. and apparently they did not see anything wrong with saying that, so i don’t know. it made me really uncomfortable to know that this person thinks that way about trans people and thinks that making henry trans was a random decision for no reason. when i read the fic, it was very obvious to me that henry being trans was the replacement for his powers. for this au, instead of having powers, being trans is what made him different and an outcast. it was a very easy to understand swap, so i do not get why imanopossum had such an issue with it. it makes me think they are being purposefully obtuse and stubborn because they do not want to just admit that they are wrong and move on
it was also especially weird when they said that henrysglock should just write a henry and patty fic instead of a brenner and henry fic if he is going to make it “physically heterosexual” anyway… are you asking henrysglock to write porn of henry and patty when the only interactions they have had together is when they are 14 years old? i think that is actually what is weird in this situation
a lot of my interactions with these people has made me feel like these are people who either have not seen the actual tv show stranger things, or do not care about it as much, and think that tfs is the only thing that matters and is the true canon story. the creators have said that tfs is canon, but you have to be deliberately ignoring all of the wrong details in order to think this is how everything actually went for henry. when i saw tfs, especially after the end when we see eleven in the lab, it made me wonder if something like nina in season 4 was happening. maybe not exactly that, but it being a vision or something because of how it does not actually match up with the original show in a lot of ways. but i know the writers are good writers and they are not just mistakes because they are way too obvious if you just pay attention. louis mccartney said himself that there are weird things happening in tfs and said we just have to think about it a little bit and it will make sense
the tv show was here first, and it is the more important part of the story, and when henrysglock talks about brenner and henry in any sort of adult way, they are always their adult versions played by jamie campbell bower and matthew modine. and if anyone tells me that he actually talks about it with tfs henry and brenner, i would like to reiterate what i said before about how a lot of the time that is just talking about analysis and what is actually in the show and how stranger things is full of a lot of sexual stuff and metaphors, and also making jokes about it is an easy way to make a hard conversation more easy
i personally can see where these people are getting these ideas about henrysglock, but they have wildly exaggerated them until they are entirely untrue statements. they are allowed to not like what henrysglock is doing and they do not have to agree with it, but that does not give them a pass to harass people and accuse them of really serious things while they are entirely untrue if you just think about it for a little bit
i am also just concerned about these people’s decision to message me about this. i just think that is a weird thing to do and i find it really weird that they have been doing it to other people too. also that i and other people have gotten anonymous messages in our inboxes about it as well, which is just cowardly and embarrassing in my opinion. if you are going to slander people, at least say it with your account attached
elliot was very upset that it turned into a big thing with me, but it could have been avoided if he had just left me alone and let me make my own decisions. same with the other people who messaged me. it is really unnecessary and it made this time joining the fandom needlessly stressful and annoying and frustrating. i understand why they feel like they want to do it, and i appreciate it to a degree, but it is only good if the person they are warning about is actually a bad person, and in hindsight it just comes off as a little bit patronizing like they think i am a stupid kid who can’t think critically and make my own decisions and come to my own conclusions
they are being manipulative, controlling, and threatening even if they say they are not. it is very clear to me that even if they say they are letting you do whatever you want with their information, they or people associated with them will harass you until you delete your account and leave the website. and it affects henrysglock and his friends as well because they don’t want people to get harassed because of them. and all of that feels like it is an abuse tactic called triangulation where someone brings in a third person to strengthen their argument and make it a two against one fight against the other person. it is cruel and unfair and the lies just make it worse
i’m getting a little bit dramatic because this is making me so frustrated. as someone who wants to be a journalist, i find it disgraceful that people are spreading lies like this because someone does not like their ship and instead ships something else. do you not feel ashamed and embarrassed for making such a big deal out of fictional ships? you are going out of your way to tell lies to other people in order to push your narrative when you should just be blocking henrysglock and his friends and pretending they do not exist
i do not want to be in the fandom on here if there are going to be people playing popularity contests like children and lying in order to make themselves look good. you are not righteous, you are bullies, and you should be ashamed
i want to warn anyone who is friends with elliot or imanoppossum or anyone in their group to be careful of everyone there, because it seems the whole group is based on lies and negativity instead of fandom and collaboration. all i wanted to do was talk about the show, but all these people want to talk about is the other people in the fandom who they hate, which is embarrassing for them

if anyone is willing to listen, i think you should read some of henrysglock’s analysis posts about the show, especially that really big one on his ao3 i linked earlier but i will put it here again X because it is really good and interesting. if you are afraid he is going to be mean to patty, he’s not, he is very nice to her. if you think he is going to be only nice to brenner, he is not, he is very critical of him. because of everything that i was being told about him, i was a little bit nervous going into reading such a big analysis like that, but he was much nicer than i was led to believe. i think a lot of people have just been scared out of talking about the deeper meaning of the show, and it is worth it to think for yourself and make your own decisions instead of blindly believing what other people tell you

Okay. So. I said in my tags that I'd have more to say about all this, and mainly what I'm going to talk about is personal. Picture me writing this all out as fast as I can on my lunch break 😭
The past 8-ish months in this fandom have been a complete and utter hellscape. It's one thing to make niche theories and have them end up unpopular. It's another to have people quite literally send out libelous messages about you in hopes of a) convincing new fans that you're a bad person, and b) scaring new fans into that they're bad people if they interact with you.
And I mean...I knew Elliot and his friends were saying messed up stuff about me. I've known that since September of last year. I was trying to ignore it and not let it dictate my fandom experience. Because like what the hell, they’re pixels on a screen. It sucks, but it’s ultimately just the internet. Anyway. The false, exaggerated claims of rape apologism and pedophilia being presented as fact while having no proof behind them are nothing new. That's been going on for a long time, now, and I do have proof of that.
For example, the author of this anon:

I did tell this person that I don't make a habit of posting DMs publicly because generally speaking I find it to be a breach of trust, but the situation has gone so far that I want to make that all public. I did, however, promise not to name them publicly. I won't tell you who said any of that, even if you ask.
But yeah, all that is nothing new.
What I didn't know until my conversations with @final-boy-creel is how invested this group was in making me out to be an awful person. I had no idea that anyone in that friend group was creating wholly falsified screenshots of me saying heinous transphobic things.
Final-boy-creel laid all that out, but I did want to a) post those faked images here for my own records, and b) expand on the situation in my own words.
First off...that's not my discord, nor is that Em's discord. Second off, like final-boy-creel said in his post: the fucked up time stamp at the bottom of the second image. (Among many other details that mark the pictures as fake, such as: changing text sizes, display names not being bolded, display names not being aligned with the time stamps, weirdly stretched profile pictures, the use of "tory" when I'm very open about being a USAmerican, numerous typos, and entirely altered typing styles (for example, I always edit my typos, I use the reply function all the time, and I'm a punctuation fan, including but not limited to: em dashes, semicolons, colons, and ellipses). Like...did whoever made these even try to make them believable??)
Second, as final-boy-creel said, I'm a neopronoun user myself. I had he/void in my bio for years, even back before I used tumblr and only had twitter. I mean, my neopronouns are even still in my discord notes:
And yes, I did remove them from public view to avoid any possible harassment from fans coming from sites like instagram, reddit, and tiktok, where neopronouns are a huge source of discourse and bullying.
So to say that *I* bully people for using neos? Absolutely insane.
Furthermore, I would never tell someone they "aren't trans enough" and that they're "making the community look bad". If you know me, then you've seen how much I post about queerness and letting people label themselves however they like forever. I'm a huge supporter of "weird" and "cringe" transness. Hell, I use the umbrella term queer for myself because I don't feel like a particular label fits me.
That upsets me more than anything else, because so much of who I am and the background I come from as a trans person centers around radical acceptance. I myself was told I wasn't trans enough when I was younger, and that shaped who I am today. Practicing radical acceptance was the only way to dig myself out of the "what if people think I'm not trans enough?" hole that was prventing me from actually living my life the way I want to.
So it really hurts me, that people think I'm some kind of transmedicalist fake-claiming scum! I'm not like that, I never have been, and it's really upsetting, knowing a decent amount of Henry fans (who all probably have me blocked by now, unfortunately, so it's not like I get a chance to explain anything) are going around thinking that's the kind of person I am. Making that kind of stuff up about me is just plain mean, especially when it's paired with telling people that I'm toxic and mean.
I can have my snippy moments when anons get a little too rude, but I like to think I'm not a mean person. And I guess I always assume that other people are the same way. Maybe that just makes me naïve.
But honestly, I just wanted to put out an apology to anyone who’s been intimidated by that group or made to feel like they’re in the goddamn panopticon here based on drama they weren’t even involved in, all under the guise of “warning” them about me. I’m so sorry that the shitstorm sucked you all into it, too. I’m so sorry your fandom experience has been made that stressful, and I’m sorry people are trying to control the opinions you form about others. It’s really, really disturbing—and really patronizing—behavior.
