â Fukuzawa is also a traditional man, so when he met you for the first time, he was genuinely delighted with your grace and your way of speaking. Your delicate tone of voice and perception of the world made a huge, positive impression on him. On top of that, you were really beautiful, and your flowery yukata perfectly highlighted your pretty smile, eye color and hair.
â You were adults, so your feelings towards each other were slow and mature. However, when you finally got into a relationship, shortly after that, you lived together in a beautiful old minka with a huge engawa, where you loved to relax and talk about his day at work or plans for the future.
â You made the most delicious tea in the whole world and you were a great housewife who loved to cook, bake and take care of others. Yukichi was even happier when you brought to home a homeless little kitten with a twisted paw one day. You took care of him together, considering the pet as your first baby.
â More than six months after you moved in together, you visited your partner at the Agency for the first time. Fukuzawa talked to you about his subordinates more than once, showed you their photos and always smiled slightly. And when Kyouka â who was wearing traditional Japanese clothes just like you â joined the Armed Detective Agency the man said that you two looked quite similar.

Hey, thatâs me
Meet the Citrus Bird Family! New Japan release: July 12, 2025. Likely year later for EU/Americas. Laura loves to have fun. When she sees the babies jumping around happily, she can't help but take care of them and play with them. She grows various fruits to use in the juice her father makes.
Rio loves singing, just like his dad. He loves singing to the sky outside.
Jordi loves riddles. He always asks his dad, mom, and siblings riddles.
Mia loves to dance. She is practicing tap dancing, inspired by the Persian cat's dad Lucas' dancing.ă I am obsessed with food themes and these lil guys are so cute!! The dad comes in a separate set. Looks like the fruit can pop out of the tree for "harvesting", the cart rolls, and the wings can appear to be flapping! The clothes are SO cute and fun. 10000% need this family in my collection. I hope to see more birds in the future too!

BSD AS PARENTS
[âĄ] chuuya always did the girlsâ hair, especially whenever they went out. he wouldnât even let you put a clip. no, nope, never. it had to be him who got to decorate his two pretty little angelsâ hairs. before he left for work, he would softly comb their hair and part them into halves, cracking jokes and making them laugh in the meantime. then, he would take two hair ties with cute designs on them, some with butterflies, some with flowers and some with bows on them and tie their hair up in pigtails. and then he would clip equally cute and tiny clips onto their hair. though after they came back from playschool half of the accessories would be missing, some in their bag if the teacher found them, some gone forever. but that didnât stop your husband from ever doing their hair. chuuya would take even longer to style out their hair if the four of you were going out somewhere till the point that even you would be done dressing up and you would just come and sit beside him and the girls, watching him contentedly as he did one of your daughtersâ hair. you always felt your heart swell up with pride whenever this scene unfolded; one girl beside him playing with his sleeves, another on his lap laughing at whatever he had just said, all the while he did her hair, looking at them with so much love and adoration. it was at times like these when you realised that you had fallen in love with the right man.
[âĄ] you regularly woke up to jouno and the boys sneakily eating ice cream late at night. it was almost becoming a routine, much to your annoyance and amusement. it started a few months ago when you woke up to use the bathroom and got up slowly so as to not wake jouno up but when you turned to look at him, you found the bed empty. for a second panicked gripped you, because where the hell did your husband disappear in the middle of the night? suddenly you heard a giggle come from the kitchen, immediately followed by a âshush!â, and you raised an eyebrow, wondering what the three of them were doing in the kitchen at this late hour. quietly, you crept towards the kitchen, and peeped in, nearly letting out an angry gasp at the sight that unfolded in front of you. jouno stood in front of the island with your two boys sitting on it, three of them with a bowl of ice cream in their hands. âdonât tell mom, okay?â jouno whispered with a smile, eliciting another giggle from them. you were about to barge in and scold your husband for letting them have ice creams so late at night, except jouno turned his head slightly to your direction and smiled, indicating that he had seen you. you huffed, rolling your eyes a little before storming back to bed. slowly, this became an everyday event but the more and more you observed them from the dark, the more you found your annoyance turning into amusement. sure you were still worried that the kids might catch cold but it warmed your heart so much to see them enjoying with their father. so you let them be, knowing that jouno always posed as the more stricter parent so they needed some special bonding time.
[âĄ] every sunday night was fortress night, according to dazai. it all started when your son complained that cartoon nights were for children, and your daughter too quickly jumped into the argument claiming that the four of you should be doing more fun stuff instead. you were very confused, wondering if this was a new mischief they had learnt from their play school. but luckily, your husband came to the rescue. he suddenly claimed that he too, was feeling boredom, and that the kids had announced this just in time for the âsurprise mommy and daddy prepared' for them. you too smiled and clapped along, pretending that you were completely aware of the situation. you trusted dazai as he walked into the bedroom and came out with all the pillows and mattresses you owned, dumping them into the living room. then, as if on a cue, lightning struck outside causing your son to scream, and dazai grabbed your daughter and pushed her into the heap of soft mattresses, scrambling around to rearrange everything. âquick!â he said to you and your son, âwe need to prepare our defenses before the fortress collapses!â. and the kids seem to have thought he was serious because they immediately jumped into the game, putting up pillows and what not. you watched them work hard in amusement, dazai impersonating a general as your children laughed and set up the âbarrierâ and you found yourself smiling at them before joining in. finally, after what felt like an eternity of laughing and stacking pillows and mattresses up (you werenât even counting the sudden random pillow fight dazai initiated after he âaccidentallyâ hit you), the four of you were snuggled close to each other inside the pillow fortress, laughing as the rain poured outside heavily. âwe should do this every sunday!â dazai laughed, lacing your hand in his as he wrapped another arm around the kids. you smiled back at him, giving his hand a squeeze. âyes, we should.â
[âĄ] tecchou loved working out with your son. and it was a cute sight to behold. well⊠most of the time it was. usually you would just walk in to your son standing on your husbandâs back as he did push ups, pretending to be ârunning mountainsâ for your son. but then one day, you walked in to him holding your son in his arms (well, not exactly arms but rather forearms) and using him⊠as a weight for bicep curls. you opened your mouth to scold tecchou in case the child got hurt but you stopped when you heard your son giggle in delight, asking his father to go even faster. to this tecchou just laughed, saying that if he went any faster, he would fly off daddyâs arms and get hurt. you nearly snorted at that excuse when you remembered how tecchou used to toss your son into the air, causing shrieks of laughter and horror, one from your baby and one from you. but he always caught him in the end no matter what so you knew that even if there was a possibility that he slipped off tecchouâs arms, he would grab him. tecchou would never let any harm come to both of your precious son. he was the gentlest and most caring soul to exist and at times you were proud to call him your husband. you loved how much time he always kept for your child through these workout sessions, even after a long day of work. even if tecchou would complain about being tired, if your son came scrambling into the room asking if he could âaccompany daddy when he runs on the treadmillâ, tecchou would always readily say yes. and such scenes made you fall in love ith him even more.
[âĄ] nikolai and your daughter loved drawing on the walls, much to your dismay. you just couldnât understand them, understand what joy they got from drawing on the walls. and it wasnât like they were painting murals or something artistic. no! they were scribbling on the walls with crayons, both of them laughing deviously as they continued drawing. at first when you and nikolai discovered your little daughter scribbling away a castle, a princess with a sword and a dragon, you expected nikolai to step up and explain her why it wasnât good habit to draw on the wall but instead, he picked up a crayon and drew a hill under the caste. and then you stared in horror as the two of them continued with their art piece. but no amount of scolding nikolai in private would change him. he confessed that he just wanted her to grow up without any guilt and good memories and that he would soon paint the walls. you offered them sheets of paper but both of them were still fixated on the wall. and then you gave up. nikolai did paint the walls⊠only for them to draw again. by now you had given up trying to tell them off, instead resorting to watching them work on their âmasterpiecesâ, finding yourself laughing at the small jokes they sometimes cracked. and it swelled your heart to see how serious your daughter was, (now also beginning to draw on sheets with a rather concentrated look on her face). maybe nikolai was right. it was the memories that mattered.
[âĄ] the kids and fyodor regularly surprised you after work. work was always tiring and draining, you were at a higher position and there was the endless demands of people to be met each day. and honestly, you would have broken down long ago if it wasnât for your husband and your kids. every single day, right when your work was done for the day, fyodor would show up with kids in front of your office, either with a bouquet of flowers or with some treats he and the kids made together. and seeing his smiling face and their laughing faces would remove all the tiredness you had felt after the long day. it first started out the day after you complained to fyodor and the kids that you were in no mood to have dinner together; you were having a splitting headache and your legs hurt, and all you wanted to do was just to be left alone and rest. at the end of your work the next day, just as you were about to get up equally tired and exhausted, you heard a familiar voice yell âmommy!â and to your shock you found fyodor and your lovely son and daughter walking into your office room with your favourite chocolates. and soon it became an everyday thing, till the point you were looking forward to it. every evening that you drove back home with your family made you look forward to the next day at work.
[âĄ] kunikida loved baking with his son, no matter how terrible the outcome was. he wasnât a great cook. nor a great baker. but unfortunately, you were worse. so when your son came up to the two of you and asked if he could start baking because it was something that seemed to interest him (well you were just glad he was using his screen time to search up baking videos), kunikida couldn't say no. but he didnât know a single thing about baking so he took it upon himself to study all the baking books he could get his hands on and watching as many baking guide 101 videos as he could till the day the two of them actually started baking. and the first cake was⊠well, more of a biscuit than a cake. but nonetheless you applauded them for the efforts (though your stomach later paid the price). but in both of your eyes it wasnât the end result that was important. if anything, your son enjoyed the whole process, laughing the whole time and explaining âscientificâ reasons for each step to your husband, as you overheard them from the living room. kunikida too seemed to be enjoying it. despite his obsession over being a perfectionist, this seemed to be the first time he ever let it go. and then it became a common occasion for the two of them to bake, the goodies becoming slightly better with each try. you werenât going to interrupt them. not when your husband and your son looked like they were having the time of their lives while accidentally getting into a flour fights.
[âĄ] your daughter and ranpo would stay stuck in a place forever, until the puzzle was solved. you had seen this coming from miles away. from the day you and your husband started reading bedtime stories to your daughter, he would try sneaking in small, easy puzzles into them, helping her solve them too. at first you were worried that it was a bit too much for her as you would always see her looking up quizzically at her father and not willing to go to sleep until he explained it to her. but as the days went by, you saw how much she waited for these puzzles so you didnât nag ranpo about it much. but now, that she was a bit more grown, the puzzlesâ complexity became more, causing her and ranpo to stay up late at night at times, even if it was a school night. and worse was when you all would go to the mall and the two of them would enter the bookstore, pick a random sherlock holmes or agatha christie book and try to solve it before. you would probably end up roaming the entire mall by then and still come back and find them huddled together at the bookstore. and at times, that maddened you a lot considering how you hated walking around the mall alone but when you saw how dedicatedly they both were on to this task, you immediately forgave them. because there was no sight more cuter than your husband and daughter scribbling away furiously on a piece of paper as they pretended to be sherlock holmes and miss maples.
[âĄ] tanizaki was always the canvas for your daughterâs makeup trials. well you supposed you were partially to be blamed for it. you would always put on makeup with her beside you so it was only natural that she too got interested in makeup. she then demanded to have some of yours but since you couldnât, you gave her some sketch pens and a makeup remover and asked her to try it on her dolls as practice. but little did you know that she would listen to you only half, deciding to use her unsuspecting daddy who was now asleep as a test subject. when tanizaki woke to the giggling girl beside him, he was immediately suspicious of the red sketch pen in her hand and the weird cool feeling on his face. so he reached out for the mirror beside him and⊠the scream that should have left him would have brought the roof down so instead he just gasped happily and asked her if she was the one who did his makeup. and that was his mistake in deciding to indulge her. because now regularly he would get invited to her âparlourâ and would have to sit through hours of sketch pen transformation in the name of makeup. and while it was an hour of you scrubbing his face to get the sketch pen off he didnât mind if it meant he got to see his girl laughing and having fun.Â

oneshot & fluff âȘÂ in which kunikida and y/n go undercover as a married couple for a missionâand accidentally start acting a little too convincing. â· kunikida doppo ; bungou stray dogs
âł an order of cappuccino from @motellaz in the comeback cafe event !
IT WAS SUPPOSED to be a routine undercover mission.
Simple. Clean. Pretend to be a newlywed couple, infiltrate a suspect's neighborhood, and gather intel from their nosy neighbor over tea.
No chaos. No drama. No unnecessary emotional attachment.
That was the plan.
Kunikida shouldâve known better.
âI cannot believe you put me down as âKunikida Y/nâ on the paperwork,â she muttered, arms crossed as they stood outside the fake apartment. âYou couldâve picked literally any fake last name and you picked yours.â
Kunikida adjusted his glasses with a sigh.
âWeâre married. For the sake of the mission. It was logistically efficient.â
âLogistically efficient,â she mimicked in a mock-deep voice, barely hiding her grin. âAdmit it, you just liked the sound of it.â
âYouâre being irrational.â
âYouâre blushing.â
âI am notââ
âYou so are!â
The apartment was... cozy. A little too cozy.
One bedroom. One bed. Zero escape.
Kunikida stood at the doorway, eyes twitching as he scanned the single futon laid out with two pillowsâfloral-patterned and criminally romantic.
âThis wasnât in the notebook,â he muttered darkly.
Y/n popped her head around the corner, toothbrush in hand.
âWhat wasnât?â
âThe proximity.â
âOh, you mean the bed? What, afraid Iâll kick in my sleep?â
ââŠThat, and other possibilities.â
She paused, then blinked slowly. âLike what, snoring?â
He turned away.
âThis mission is a nightmare.â
Over the next few days, the mission progressed smoothly. Too smoothly.
Neighbors loved them. They played their roles perfectly. The sweet, polite husband and the sunny, talkative wife.
Holding hands during strolls, bickering in low whispers about dishes, grocery shopping side by side like they hadnât stopped arguing since the moment they met.
And somehow, in the middle of it all, Kunikida found himself adjusting her scarf on chilly mornings without thinking.
Letting her lean on his shoulder during late-night stakeouts. Memorizing the way she smiled when she teased him.
This was not in the notebook.
âYouâre getting into this,â Y/n teased one evening as she stirred a pot of curry in the tiny kitchen. âYouâre enjoying our fake domestic bliss.â
Kunikida, who was currently drying a plate with military precision, paused.
âThatâs absurd.â
âYou fixed the bathroom shelf when I said it was wobbly.â
âIt was a safety hazard.â
âYouâre wearing the matching couple slippers the landlady gave us.â
He looked down. The slippers were pink. With tiny hearts.
He cleared his throat.
âIt wouldâve been rude not to.â
She smirked. âUh-huh.â
The breaking point came when the neighborâsweet old Mrs. Satoâcornered them during the last dinner check-in.
âYou two are such a perfect match,â she sighed, sipping her tea. âTell me, what was the proposal like?â
Y/n blinked. Kunikida stiffened.
And thenâpure chaos.
âOh, he was so awkward about it,â y/n said sweetly, nudging him. âDropped the ring in the soup.â
âI did notââ
âHe wrote a poem about our compatibility score. Can you believe that?â
âIt was a statistical analysis, not a poemââ
âI cried, he panicked, knocked over a candle, set the menu on fireââ
âThat part was not my fault!â
By the time they got home, Kunikida was flushed red from head to toe, arms crossed like a sulking cat.
Y/n flopped onto the futon, giggling.
âAw, donât pout, husband.â
âThis entire scenario has spiraled out of control,â he muttered.
She rolled onto her side, propped up on one elbow, eyes soft now.
ââŠYou know, I wouldnât mind if it wasnât fake.â
He froze.
âThe mission, I mean,â she added quickly, flustered. âI like being around you. Even when you're fussy and dramatic and terrifyingly organized.â
Silence.
Then:
âI created an entire section in my notebook just for how to deal with you,â he murmured.
Y/n blinked.
ââŠYou what?â
He cleared his throat.
âPage forty-two. âCountermeasures for Chaotic Partners.ââ
Y/n laughed, full and bright and beautiful.
Then she crawled across the futon and kissed him on the cheek, gently.
âGuess Iâll have to make it to page one someday.â
Kunikidaâs ears turned pink.
ââŠYou already did.â
