HAPPY WICKED PREMIERE DAY! Oh my gosh, I cannot wait to finally watch this. This has been my most anticipated movie of the year and I can't believe it's finally here! What we've seen so far already looks amazing and I already know I'll just love it >w< It's gonna be so hard to wait a year for part two, but I'm hyped for that one too haha!
I of course had to draw the best witches to celebrate. The details were so fun to make. <3

i love how deadpool and wolverine & wicked were promoted on the theme of best friends but more specifically enemies to friends and their respective fandoms drew the same conclusion of "they're gay"

another little easter egg in the wicked screenplay that I LOVED was the emerald city residents getting described as “crazy rich ozians”, considering john m. chu’s movie resume ;)

so… I will be the first to admit that I’ve been over-analyzing the dorothy scraps from wicked, but I’ve noticed that toto is on a leash. that’s apparent in the scene where they’re all walking back to the emerald city and also when they’re walking into the wizard’s chamber. the interesting part to me is that in the second photo I posted of when they’re standing in front of the wizard’s animatronic head, dorothy isn’t holding a leash anymore. toto is right at the tin man/boq’s feet and I need to know… is he the one holding toto’s leash?????? because that would be the most amazing thing ever. ok that’s all, I’m done with my niche observation of the day 😙✌️
I just finished reading the wicked screenplay at 2am (naturally) and I discovered another clever bit of fiyercrow foreshadowing!!!!! the realization made me cackle with delight. this part didn’t make it into the final cut, but maybe that’s because it would’ve been too on-the-nose? footage of this line delivery by jonathan bailey probably exists in a director’s cut that we’ll maybe, hopefully get to see… one day…
