A bunch of sketches I have done, trying to find a way I would like to draw the turtles. As you can see, I don't have favorites (I'm obviously lying). If think that any of the expressions or the poses in the second one are familiar, it's because I used some panels from Chainsaw Man as reference.

I got excited when I saw that there were watercolors in the Medibang(I love using watercolors in real life art) and I ended up also doodling Katana Man, Makima, and Laura(my OC). For Makima, I didn't use references, I tried by memory, that's why she's so weird.

I will eventually get some real art done, I swear-

So I've just come back from the cinema and I have thoughts.

Never been a part of this fandom before, but I know the game.

Some spoilers under the cut, maybe?

Overall, the movie is exactly what I'd expected: a slasher flick and not much more. Which isn't bad, UD is pretty good for what it is. I also knew it wasn't an actual adaptation and the plot and characters were different, so I didn't end up disapointed.

The characters felt to me very much like your typical Netflix teenage friend group: I didn't feel much chemistry there and they all felt pretty flat. Which maybe is the point of movies like this, actually: you're there to watch them die in horrible ways, not get attached.

But if it's supposed to be in the same universe as the game, then why did they change the wendigo lore? From what I understood from the tape, you turn into one because of trauma and you eat people BECAUSE you're turning and not the other way around? Feels a bit nonsensical, but whatever.

I caught two references: Josh's file on Hill's desk and uh... the spiritual girl... Maggie? Megan? wearing a butterfly necklace.

Speaking of, I am kinda sad that they didn't incorporate the butterfly effect. Isn't it the whole shtick of the game? Even one small action having some unforeseen consequences would have been pretty neat.

Overall, as just a slasher teenage movie: 8/10.

the funniest thing about tiktokers woobifying allied mastercomputer is that it actually interacts with the themes of IHNMAIMS in a very interesting way.

a big focal point of that story is AM despising humanity for giving him sentience and intelligence without embodied sensation, without the ability to give and receive affection as they do. the transformation he inflicts on ted is of course a parallel to AM's own state of disembodied consciousness (i have no mouth and i must scream), but AM is also punishing ted specifically for doing what he cannot. for acting out of mercy and empathy in order to save the other humans at his own expense. I think AM despises that altruism because he envies it, because he can't fathom the softness that humans are capable of even after time and trauma have warped them beyond recognition. AM hates the human capacity for empathy because he can never experience it himself.

So the fact that some kids on tiktok read IHNMAIMS and immediately responded by pitying AM, by making angst edits and expressive cosplays and humanized fanart, is strangely beautiful. like I think it would really piss him off. the human capacity for kindness runs so deep that we would extend empathy to the personification of our hate.

I have returned and I finally have a concrete story I want to use for my PJO AU

I’ve even made designs for the characters which I’ll probably drop whenever I drop the series. But I actually rlly like the plot and it’s a bit less complicated than my other things I have going on at the moment lol.

NO! No-no-no! That is NOT right! It's the other way around: Tarmac does not burst up in grass! It is grass that slowly but forceful cracks up through tarmac. This… Thing, is against the natural order of…  Things. It's not normal! And disturbs not only the eyes, but the perception of reality. Tarmac breaking up grass; it must be nothing but an illusion! And certainly not a nice sight or thought. Do something! NOW! My brain got kickstarted, literally, bounced around my skull, tried to come up with a solution. Somehow I was responsible, though I didn't quite know why. Or how. And what to do… It didn't take long, though. To find a possible way through this mess. Quite simple, actually. If it wasn't 'natural', well, then I just had to change what's natural and not. A question of perception. A slight discrete change of reality, or view of. Putting minds at ease by introducing a grain of fiction. Only small alterations; keeping reality real… In their minds. Not making people feel as part of an imagination. My imagination. Inserting a few tiny changes without being invasive. They wouldn't feel a thing… And last of all being manipulated. No; when messing around with reality, and especially others, you have to be careful not being caught in the act. It was almost too easy. A few thoughts or rather ways of thinking, smoothly laid out as a filter on that tarmac/grass-incident. The relief in their eyes! The many faces changing from deep concern and disbelief to "ahh! -just that", and small recognizing smiles. Yes of course, the usual thing. When tarmac grows up through grass. It happens. It's the way of a natural world. Some slight nodding, and the high-pitched worried voices moved on. It's almost too easy… With just a little bit of fiction. I wondered if I should follow their new reality. Sooner or later they would see grass breaking through tarmac. Then what? And would it be my problem again? Guess so. I decided to do my personal countdown for the european release of KH 2.5 Remix! (because we have to wait three days longer than North America.)

It will be the 20 things I am looking forward the most, in no specific order. At first I had no idea what I should do for twenty days, but when I was staring to write a list about my favourite moments, i got to 50. x'DDSome days I will probably just write about it, but when I've got the time I will try to draw something. :)

Today's motif is actually pretty easy to explain: I'm really looking forward to BBS. It's the only one of my favourite games that will be playable in the Remixes. (the other two are DDD and Re:coded) BBS was what actually got me into the series. I did play and I did like KH before, but it was nothing really special to me – until BBS happened. I mean, a game that starts with such a quote is predestined to become one of my favourites, haha. Also, I was looking for a way to play it with my siblings, well, this one is perfect!

Quarantine is boring even for these two.

Yknow this is why I got embarrassed when I played with the doors open. Sorry, I know you’d look at me weird if you saw a little girl about to hang a traitorous stuffed dog for his many war crimes with a string of cheap marti gras beads in front of the doorway with an audience, authority figures, last words rites, and all. I’ve built a society with birth, death, tragedy, relief, societial expectations, rituals, and traditions.

You wouldn’t be able to keep up. To you it’d just look weird. To me, it is the most invigorating story and I’m having a fucking blast.

Then of course they came back from the dead and have a revenge arc, because they were a wrongful convict.

(There was also this one time I made literal armor for my stuffed elephant out of ball bearings and magnets because I was obsessed with them as a kid. I was gonna make them go to war. Then the magnets collapsed in on eachother and were nearly impossible to remove because of the shear number of magnets I used. I could barely lift it to get my parents to help me. )
