when the mansion started burning in limited life, Jimmy and tango started freaking out because they remembered the ranch burning in double life

Gem is a listener, she can speak/listen to the dead (like in wild life)

Grumbot (s9 hermitcraft) was controlled by the watchers

Xisuma saved Grian from the watchers, but wasn't able to save the rest of the evo members

Pearl gets so many nightmares, and Gem always helps her through them : )

Grian had flashbacks of hc s7 when Scar wore the mayor costume that one episode of secret life

Scar became the secret keeper after his win, and he greets new winners thereafter

Here's one of mine: c!tango has hEDS and his wrists slip out of place a lot so he wears wrist braces that look like fingerless gloves. He also occasionally will wear finger ring braces when working on redstone

(Another one bc i can: c!pearl doesn't have her wings in life series but there are scars where they should be & she gets phantom sensations of them)

I'm getting EVO flashbacks

He's turning into an actual Watcher

like- the Watchers on EVO-

c!Grian used to hate The Watchers so bad 'cuss they tortured him and the EVO guys and they kidnap him so that they could turn him into a watcher themselves. They tortured him once he become a watcher too, Grian hated it so he use his powers to escaped the watchers and got into the world called 'Hermitcraft' and sealed it so the watchers couldn't find it.

And of course things happen

He eventually got found by them, they abducted Joe hills so that he come back, he sacrifices himself for the hermits, the hermits didn't like it so they tried to save him. Eventually grian and the watchers got into a fight mode, and he won the fight against them.

And now, much, much later, I think Grian's watcher nature finally starts to consume him as he started this SMP and as a result 3rd life SMP becomes his place to experiment with players without Grian realizing it.

He starts to turn into something that the hated the most

I just thought about it now I think it would be very cool to make a whole story out of it :v

Since I loosely headcanon Watcher Grian to be running 3rd Life as an experiment, I’m choosing to believe that, due to its magic and enclosed nature, none of the souls can leave the barrier until somebody wins the game.

Because of this, their restless spirits wander around the server. Grian is the only one who can see them with perfect lucidity, everyone else has only caught the occasional glimpse.

The Entity Headcannons P6

I knew this was worth it.

I haven’t watched Grian’s ep11 since I know it is going to TAKE me. I am going to be off in la la land for a good 6 hours rambling about this rock and because exams I haven’t had a day I can give up like that. So instead that shall be p7 of headcannons, I will not be okay. I’ve been stanning this rock since day 1! Y’all are late to the party! :D ( This will also be spoiler free for those who haven’t watched Grian’s ep11 too! )

The Mumbo has lost his jumbo, o7, the man is down to one braincell. s9 ep9 my beloved.

The Entity is a disconnected piece of The Big Rock. They’re both stealing things from the world. What The Big Rock, or Dwanye as I’ll be calling it, got its items from The Rift and yoinked them up. The Entity just travelled a bit away, for why I will wonder, hopefully Grian will get us the actual answer for that someday. But for now I’m saying The Entity wanted to be its own eldritch being and you go you you little rock. I swear I’m getting the adoption papers ready!

Obviously these 3 are very connected. The Rift spits out items, Dwanye yoinks them up, and The Entity is a piece of Dwanye. Who knows, maybe even Dwanye came from The Entity and whichever realm it was from. Just slowly, overtime, eating up everything it spits out, slowly growing in size and becoming more powerful with time. Atoms change and whichever law that’s called, using them to get bigger, and slowly get more rocks? Cause there’s the main one, then tons of others all around- the entity is just one of those. That means they’re all similar, Dwanye has children!

May we all wish Dwanye a happy baby shower? Its a parent to many and deserves many gifts, maybe a few glowing purple eyes the children would enjoy!

The Entity left home to become a business man, I’m so proud of it, its succeeding in life. Making so very much money and food to bring home! Dwanye is tearing up right now. Who needs college when you’re a siren rock am I right?

The Entity Headcannons P5

It’s going to be more focused on The Entity and how it relates to this “weak point in the worlds,” Grian has been speaking of. But trust me, there’s a lot more, I just wanna stick with the title.

MOTHER OF ALL GRIANS AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Grian mentioned something coming out of the rift. This could refer to the future, or something that has already appeared out of it. Stuff could be spilling out of it. Hence: The Entity! It was one of the first things to spill out of this portal. One of the first things which got pulled to a lone time ago. It doesn’t understand it either, but hey, there’s some players around to mind control pog.

The more people who have come into contact with The Entity, the less they’re questioning it. It’s just a thing there. Just a cool shop project and theme Grian is working with this season. When its going to be moving to the new shopping district, people question where, and how exactly Grian plans to move it. Good thing The Entity’s heart can take its blue goopy self and stick to the side of his arm whilst Grian takes a quick flight over.

The Entity was just vibing on the server. Been there for many years, living peacefully as a peddle flowing down the river. Then suddenly the hermits with all their godly hermits spawn in and it is quite terrifying. It first meets Grian of who instantly asks it to be apart of his shop. He’s looking to scare some hermits this season! Start: The Entity and Grian going around, being spooky and putting on literally horror stories for non-godly hermits.

I just wanted to put a picture of The Entity with its cute little bowtie and it from the top. Its such a lovely build. I adore it. Plus the blocks used honestly might refer to deeper caves/the area where deepslate and stone meet if we wanna start talking about where this shell/boulder/rock comes from in terms of the seed/earth/planet/server.

Around the server, Grian’s discovered... odd areas. Stuff player made, but none of the other players see to claim to have created. Following the bread crumbs these books and old, rickety areas left, it led him to a pile of blue goop lying within the caves under spawn, contained in a broken cage underneath the homes of the scientist. This is when he hears The Entity’s heartbeat and its installed to the top of the rock. There it will be safe. No one on Hermitcraft would ever maliciously grief or damage a shop. But these homes and labs lead him to more, obviously very, very old in technology and science standards. “The Entity came from the magical halo within a cave.” Grian discovers from another crumbling structure some 100 blocks away from spawn. Huh. What could that mean.

It shed its form. Like snails do with their shells! Its central part is the heart and the water around it, and it likes staying next to water since it can spread its influence on the land through the water quickly. Everything has started and came from the water afterall. The heart always stays beating though, no matter what Grian did to it when it glued itself to his arm in the cave.

The old scientists are very old, and apart of Grian regrets this being a blind world. One that wasn’t looked up by Xisuma and the hermits to make sure everything was okay. ( Of course that didn’t prevent the moon crash. ) And there is something wrong with this world, and this entity has something to do with it. He goes on with the research, and he made the entity into a shop for “its easier to study, Scar!” Maybe he’s a bit paranoid after the moon, or after the watchers, and maybe he has reason to be scared as he shelves another rotting book.

Rambling about bright colors and how they could work with watchers

Firstly, my friend just sent me artwork of Watcher!Grian and I was aghast with many happy emotions. One thing that struck me is that they included parrot wings with the watcher design, this lead my mind to many places and I just need to ramble it out. I’m not the most artistic person. I’m no good at drawing, at the moment at least, and I can’t begin to recount the details of color theory, setting up a scene, how a piece all comes together in artwork so I don’t know how feasible my idea is. The concept that struck me: The bright colors of a parrots wings. You ever seen those animations with flashing colors, or pieces of artwork with splashes of color to convey something? Usually, from my limited understanding, its trying to convey disorientation. ( See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wS3q-MGK7Og ) Flashing lights can help convey feelings of  discombobulation, a daze, and confusion. Now see an art piece that’s a take on watchers with bright colors, or an animation that goes fully into this blowing up, splattering colors across the canvas with being.

It’s just a cool artistic touch too! A additional thing could be colors are seen when an watcher is seeing, otherwise its a black and white palette. Look back to what bright, flashing colors can see, and how it gets overwhelming, and that’s a way to show how watching can get overwhelming, and to show that feeling to the viewer! Then to fade back to the calmness that is black and white. Or just an art piece in general with watcher!Grian and aspects of these colors. Showcasing the overwhelming confusion. Or maybe its how others might see the watchers!

It’s a lot different than traditional eldritch horror or biblically accurate angels. If I recall correctly, they use a lot more black and white to help convey those, like an explosion! Then impact frames and all that jazz. But just a piece filled with different colors, highlighting disorientation, then the purple eyes just piercing through that and still seeing despite all the colors and everything they are seeing.

The wings being different colors, the screen dripping blood that’s a different color, a glitch effect, Or just one set of bright, nearly eye bleeding wings that glitch into existence, maybe the colors of the bright colors normally associated with glitching- then you can add a black void or something as the such!

This probably already exists, but rambling about art ideas gets the itch out of my wrist. Thank you if you’ve read, as a little ending treat, imagine Grian only being able to see in black and white and being shocked when others point out he has parrot wings. Then learning to grow and accept that, then one day seeing them and seeing they aren’t near as mind numbingly bright. They’re more calm, down to earth, cooler colors. Or something like that- I’m just rambling a concept! It works better as a artistic metaphor than a writing one!

Okay, I’m new to Hermitcraft and all the Watcher Grain jazz but I have fallen in love. But yet I haven’t seen anyone mention the fact that at the end of s8, for all the boatem crew - besides Mumbo who doesn’t include the void ending, - only sees the nether portal particles besides GRIAN. ( Everyone else has the nether portal particles and what looks like black concrete that they’re standing on. ) Grian’s POV has both the nether portal particles AND the end portal texture. We see him turn off and stare into the distance. People say they see a portal here, but personally I don’t see anything at all besides Grian trying to find a way to end his video. But Grian’s the only one who sees the end portal texture. Watcher Grian- please no guns- no the end portal void blocks in the middle aren’t there just because we needed a transition to s9 or Grian just wanted that no- no stop- its Watcher Grian lore- THIS MEANS SOMETHING
