I feel like Gabriel would be friends with Monk for some reason, so that's why this image exists.

If you think about it, since the Final War is an alternate World War I, and because Russia never pulled out of conflict in ULTRAKILL's timeline, this could mean that the Russian Civil War likely lasted about a month, assuming the Guttermen were created around the time of the Russian Revolution.
I have no doubt that the surrendering Bolsheviks would eventually find themselves being used as fuel sources for their machines.
Yes, this includes Vladamir Lenin (Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov), the founder and leader of the Bolsheviks, who later became the first head of the Soviet Union in our own universe.

I’ve been wanting to make something about Ultrakill since I began drawing; this game is really one of my favorites of all time; something about it just clicks with me like no other; it’s everything I ever wanted in a game and more. I made this just to say, play Ultrakill, listen to its soundtrack, read about its messed-up world. There’s so much to love about this game; it’s definitely worth a look. That is a great point.
Maybe I'll see if I can make a feedback post on the Legacy ULTRAKILL Discord server about this and see if "male" and "female" can be changed to "masculine" and "feminine" in a hotfix update. That could get fewer people to use the genders as adjectives.
Then again, it might be too minor an improvement to suggest since it is likely not worth the time and effort at this point.

In their defense, the Mindflayer's Terminal entry refers to their forms as "female" and "male," so they are just using the latter as a prefix since that is how they're described.
Also, immediately wanting to rip people to pieces for this sort of thing is not exactly a good mindset to go by.

In the newest update for ULTRAKILL, there is now a 1/51% chance for a masculine Mindflayer variant to spawn, which matches up with the lore from its data entry.
Also, here is a bonus fact from Hakita himself about the Mindflayer's design:
Everyone is discussing the new death screen in the new ULTRAKILL update, but why is no one talking about the disturbing screams we hear from the flaming tombs the heretics are sealed in from the revamped 6-1: Cry from the Weeper level?
