The Stratford Competition is an annual theatre competition held in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. It is without doubt one of the largest classical theatre festivals on the planet, and its 2025 season shall be its seventieth anniversary.
The competition was based in 1953 by a gaggle of native residents who wished to create a world-class theatre firm of their group. The competition has since grown to turn into one of the prestigious theatre corporations in Canada, and its productions have been seen by thousands and thousands of individuals world wide.
