Presidents Day, often known as Washington’s Birthday and Presidents’ Day, is a federal vacation in the USA that honors all former presidents. It was established in 1885 in honor of George Washington, the primary president of the USA. The vacation is well known on the third Monday of February, which in 2025 falls on February seventeenth.
The vacation is commonly seen as a time to replicate on the contributions of previous presidents and the significance of the presidency. It is usually a time to rejoice the values of democracy and freedom that the USA was based on.
