I had a lot of fun with this one :) it went mush further than I had originally planned, but the end result was much better than I expected ☺️ the hardest part was putting together all the smaller components since they were done on different bits of canvas paper, but I managed to stitch them all together with the magic of technology 😅

Friend shaped 🥰 yellow is an interesting colour to try and paint with because it’s so bright, but I think it looks good on this happy little beetle friend ☺️ there’s a bunch of these types of beetles with all sorts of different patterns and colours too! Very cute friends
🍭🍬Candy skewers! Do these spark childhood memories? I think I may have had them before and it’s all fun and games until you span yourself in the mouth 🙊 oh, and there were never any eyeballs on there … I think this one is watching you 👁️👄👁️

Did a night time tooth doodle 🦷 I see that lots of goblins have teeth in their hoards, but i have found no such treasures. To fix this I have created my own :)

B u g g✨ the beetle from yesterday is complete! This guy was a time to paint. I think it was because of all the colours blending together but with the help of water and a lot of salt, I think it went alright 👌 .
✨shimmer✨ New bug for the collection! Ive found that the shimmery insects are a bit more challenging but I found my pearly watercolours! What a stylish bug ✨ .

I love seeing nature after it has rained :) the plants are always so vibrant especially when there’s a brightly coloured mushroom or flower in there 🌿🍄 Im still unsure how I feel about this watercolor paper since it has more texture than what I’m used to, but I have 30 sheets of it now so I guess I’ll find a way to make it work 😅
✨Yes! I caught a Horned Hercules! Guess I was stronger! Whenever I see bugs now all I can think of is animal Crossing dialogue and when I’ll be able to sell them to Flick.
Milkweed bug! I don’t know if I’ve ever seen these little guys for myself since I never really looked out for them, but they are such a beautiful colour! I especially like how the pattern on their back looks like a heart 🖤

Hello hello! Yesterday I finished my last Mushroom for may 🍄✨ (I know there are 31 days but you'll see in a bit why I went with 30)
🍄 cremini mushrooms are probably the thing I eat most. Actually I think I eat them every day with dinner and they're soo versatile. I watched a YouTube video last night about a guy who photographs fungi and apparently in other parts of the world there's HUNDREDS of different mushrooms that people can just buy and eat??? Idk man I have like... 5 options depending on the store I go to. We need more mushrooms here 😅

Howdy goblin and fairy friends 🍄✨ it's mayshroom #28: common puffball!
ALSO since we are coming near the end of the month, I am in the process of selecting which Mayshrooms will be made into prints!
🍄 I'm going to rework the boarder + remove the month and date but I will sign and number the print on the back (for example if you wanted todays mayshroom I'd sign the back and write "05/28")
🍄 I will be keeping the names of the Mayshrooms under the painting :)
🍄 The size will be 5"x7"
I will post an example tomorrow and id love to hear from you about what Mayshrooms you'd like to see as prints ❤️🍄✨
