Happy Pride 2024!🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈
(I’m glad I draw it the last day.)
Noooooooo
I missed it
I missed the deadline
I took too long typing this i realized halfway through that it was already November
Please accept my late Halloween Art 😔
Anyway today was a your choice one and I'm actually gonna start with Jared's:
He drew a bunch of different horror monsters he's created
Evil Spacecat is from a parody of Killer Clowns from Outerspace, Rosie is a possessed doll, Elf is an evil elf, Brayden Hook is a slasher from the countryside, Max Denvor is a sunken Diver killer, Gator is a gatorman killer, Snake Eye is a snake demon, Bishop is an evil priest based on the Nun, and Zoid and Pete Grisly are new to me
I did a handful hence why it's late
All from my different aus (or rather takes on AUS): Underfell, Deltarune Chapter Rewritten, and Underswap)
If you wanna learn more about CR and Underswap check out my swap au blog @deltaswap2442 where I do swap au. Been kinda inactive on there for a bit because of this but I plan to make a return
Happy Late Halloween
Here’s Wally, our resident American Alligator. Alligators are reptiles, which means they are cold blooded. Cold blooded animals, or ectotherms, rely on the environment to control their internal body temperatures. Unlike humans, alligators don’t have bodily functions to warm themselves up when they are cold.
In order to get warm, reptiles like to sunbathe, just like Wally is doing in this photo. Any Floridian who has seen a gator outside of the water, has probably been witness to the gator trying to warm themselves up too.
Our resident adult gator, Wally, shows off her top row of teeth with a curvy smile. American Alligators are a common sight for Floridians. Whether they’re borrowing our pools, sharing our golf courses, or sunbathing at our favorite parks, alligators are just a normal part of Florida living. Remember the best thing to do when encountering a gator in the wild is to leave it alone and put a wide amount of space between you and it. If you encounter a large, threatening alligator, contact FWC’s gator hotline (866-392-4286).
In honor of National Wildlife Day, we took out our native Florida gator for an educational program. Florida gators are considered a keystone species. That means they’re responsible for establishing an ecosystem/habitat for several other species of animals to inhabit as well. Without gators, Florida’s animal ecology would be in serious trouble.
Note: licensed and trained professionals are responsible for handling all wild animals. Please do not try this at home.
O great goldfish, I have a question. What happens to crocodiles/alligators when their skin dries out? Does it get stiff, or cracked? Do their scales start to peel? Thank you for the animal wisdom
nothin, their skin is pretty impermeable and doesn't actually dry out all the way unless the animal dies first!
crocodilians live just fine in arid environments as long as there's a body of water for them drink and hunt in, the hot dry winds don't hurt them near as badly as the lack of water does out there.
this looks incredible. Look at this remarkable gator, just chillin'.
