Spider-Man AU where Peter Parker works as Dr Octavius’s lab assistant whilst he’s initially becoming Doctor Octopus and one of the sinister six

Now Peter keeps coming into work with visible injuries (sometimes even ones caused by the sinister six and doc ock himself), but instead of Doc immediately seeing through his terrible lies and excuses and realizing he’s Spider-Man,,

He just assumes that poor lil Petey has found himself in an abusive relationship

Cue Doc Ock recruiting the rest of the sinister six to help him figure out who’s hurting his poor, defenseless lab assistant whilst Peter struggles to hide his identity as Spider-Man from these increasingly protective super villains who have decided to make it their business to watch out for this fragile little guy who clearly can’t stand up for himself and refuses to admit he’s being abused by his significant other

*Spidey and the Sinister Six having their usual fight*

Doc Ock, landing a hit: You’re getting slow Spider-Man! Age finally catching up to you?

Spider-Man: You wish! I haven’t even hit my 30s! From those costumes I can already tell I failed to save you guys from those midlife crises! Sorry by the way.

Vulture: Watch it wallcr- wait… Did you just say your not in your thirties yet?

Spider-Man: Surprised that this spiders so young and spry? Well-

Electro: Dude I’ve been fighting you for at least 5 fucking years! How old even are you?

Shocker, joking cause he’s the only one who picked up no grown adult acts likes Spidey: Don’t swear in-front of the boy you don’t want him to pick it up.

Rhino: Christ! You’re tellin me I almost crushed some 12-year-olds skull all those years ago?

Spider-Man, regretting his quipping: I was not that young! Like just starting freshman year but-

Sandman, horrified as he’s the only one with a kid and dad instincts(as of my iteration): I could’ve killed a kid…

Shocker, genuinely curious: Are you even old enough to drink? Cruel to kill a man who ain’t had his first drink yet.

Electro: Please tell us you’re at least over 25 as of this fight. Hell, I’ll take over 21!

Spider-Man:….

Sandman, realizing just how young he really is: Oh my god.

Spider-Man: My birthday’s coming up soon so I guess it counts?

Doc Ock, exacerbated: It. Does. Not!

Vulture: What would your mother think if she knew her son was out here risking his life telling poorly constructed jokes?

Spider-Man, offended cause it quips slap: 1. My jokes are great 2. She and my dad are dead so-

Sandman, hysterical cause holy shit he almost killed a kid orphan: OH MY GOD!

i drew some ssm stuff to accomodate my headcanon post from last night.

this is like a weird au thing? ock kidnaps peter w/ the help of carnage (long story, i might elaborate) in an attempt to get to spider-man. peter reveals himself to be His Father's Son and otto is full on "please let me adopt you"

baby pete n' his father, richard. obviously i need baby pete to be obsessed with otto and him being like "aw cool im besties with this baby :) what an innocent creature :) i could never declare my undying hatred for this thing :)" because angst.

connected so much to the first one except infinitely less :). very much just Typical Spider-Man Fan Takes Joy In Peter's Suffering.

I just noticed that when Green goblin threw those green bomb thingys to everybody, Dr Oct saved Dr Strange from getting injured by those things! He tried to keep the things away, but managed to only get rid of two before one managed to get inside the box. I find it bootiful because they are my favorite docs 🥺🥺🥺
