If you think about it... Hunter got adopted by like 4 different people. Camila and Darius (canon) and a lot of people believe that Eda and Raine (while not being his main parental figures) were very much parental figures to him. He would have 5 parents if you count Alador as his step-dad.
If Darius doesn't end up adopting Hunter by the end of the series i'll be throwing more than hands.
Darius: Hunter is stuck in the human realm! What if something happens to him?
Alador: My daughter is there too, but it'll be okay. They're with Luz. Your son will be safe.
Darius: Son? Hunter isn't my son.
