I know we don’t like to talk about the movie, but
Maitre D’ from the 2019 version of Cats
Like, some bits of the movie were actually pretty good and I loved the added in characters, especially Maitre D’. I just find him to be such a cutie pie and I think it’d be cute to see him and Mistoffelees following Bustopher around during his musical number. Maybe he’s Misto’s father, as Bustopher is always considered to be the magician’s uncle! I just love him so much and would love to him in a future production
I designed some masks for the cast of Cats if it were a masked theater performance :) I was inspired for a lot of them by the 1986 Hamburg production in particular.
me all morning, without really noticing or thinking about the words i’m saying:

• Skimble hates getting his paws wet (it would track through the train) so on rainy days he stays inside the train and just orders people around from the doorway
• Bustopher brings Misto empty oyster shells, and Misto crushes up the shiny inside part to put in his fur (it’s how he sparkles)
• Teazer steals pretty bits of lace, jewelry, hat pins, etc. for Victoria, but she’s too nervous to give them herself so she has Plato do it
