Beya 2025 is a strategic initiative launched by the Black Financial Alliance (BEA) in partnership with main corporations and organizations. Its mission is to create 1 million new Black tech professionals by 2025 and shut the racial wealth hole within the tech business.
The initiative focuses on three key areas: training, entrepreneurship, and workforce growth. Beya 2025 companions with Traditionally Black Faculties and Universities (HBCUs) and different academic establishments to supply scholarships, mentorship, and coaching applications for Black college students involved in tech careers. It additionally helps Black-owned tech startups and entrepreneurs by funding, mentorship, and entry to sources. Moreover, Beya 2025 works with corporations to create inclusive workplaces, develop various expertise pipelines, and promote equitable hiring practices.
