DEVASTATING 😭😭😭 ADLER WHAT DA HELL
Adler I'm watching your body cam you being disrespectful as hell bruh
BETTER CASE PICTURE?????? YESSSSSS
What is it with Black Ops protags with their only picture being in a vehicle 😔
This is just some thoughts :)
there is just something about the fact that the only mentions of Bell is the ONE door scene and the small mention by Adler when case asked what happens to the other subjects.
the fact that Bell was used exactly how Adler programed them to be used hurts so much.(I'm talking about how Adler used bell as a weapon and how when bell was no longer useful Adler threw them away. AKA killed em)
it just makes my soul ache cause Bell could be alive at this point. but everything that he did and that he sacrificed was a means to an end for everyone around him.
Pictures about the references I'm talking about :)
the door that looks almost EXACTLY like the one of the red doors we see in the end of the cold war campaign
This is the dialogue I'm talking about
the really sad thing is I don't know if these even WERE meant to be Bell references. The absences of any mention of Bell hammers home the idea that all of the safehouse crew thought of Bell as a means to an end. a weapon that they would dispose of when it isn't useful anymore.
there is something so tragic about the fact that Bell's whole world was ripped to pieces and manipulated to LITERALLY fit into a script just so that the CIA could stop a threat.
(did I write this at 1am while listing to Mitski? yes. yes I did. will I still cry about this when I wake up tomorrow? yes. yes I will. )
"Where my hug at" ahh Bell

CW sketches 1/2
Lately I’ve been thinking about Bell’s personality before they were captured by the CIA. Knowing that they were in the inner circle of Perseus already lets us know that Bell was a rather ambitious person. Though, I feel like they indeed had to go through a dirty path to get so high in this hierarchy. You can’t reach the stars without suffering, right? So naturally, Bell must’ve had the charisma and will to go through things like the assassinations of his rivals and making themselves stand out from the rest of the people. After all, even in a circle of Perseus, there was no guarantee that Bell would easily stay in their spot all safe and sound (we can take the Trabzon Airfield situation as an example). This system of hierarchy setup was rather unforgiving for those who were lacking the will to take action or who weren’t careful enough. So, in short, Bell’s hands weren’t clean.
But even with all the killing they had done, both to his comrades and enemies, Bell had to trust somebody. We can’t say that Bell had serious trust issues beforehand, since they had to trust their comrades at least a little bit, since operating all alone was a death sentence. But I feel like Bell never really fully trusted anyone in the first place, except for Perseus and the closest operatives (but these relationships are different stories).
Another thing that I often wonder about is whether Bell was blinded by the ideology or not. As we know, Perseus did have his own idea of perfecting Motherland and his own hate towards the West. Though, did Bell have their own ideas, or were they simply following Perseus, convinced by his ideals and morals? I like to think that Bell was their own person with their own beliefs and ideas. After all, Bell being able to think for themselves would connect with the charisma they might’ve had. And I think Bell’s head was one of the reasons why they even got noticed by Perseus. I like to believe that their ideals never aligned so perfectly, but their small differences made their bond grow stronger.
Sorry, I had to get this rambling out of my head
They definitely needed to do that tbh. Like, seriously, you brainwash a damn soviet, make them work for you and in the very end you don't even show them what you were fighting for (aka American dream). ADLER WAS LACKING (and Park too, she could've gave Bell a tour in UK)
Park and Adler should have taken Bell to Disney world post game for a job well done but instead they shot him. This says a lot about America.
Something that always bugged me in some weird way was how after Cuba happened, Adler was dragging Bell by their legs into the safehouse. I kinda have been wondering if Adler just had back problems or if he was this big of an asshole. Like, wouldn’t it be safer for a person to be dragged by the arms? The head could get hit while dragging the person through the ground + discomfort. So, knowing Adler, probably both
I just had a thought about Bell's dreams during his time with the CIA after brainwashing. To be more specific, I had a thought that Bell occasionally might have been dreaming of bells (ironic, isn’t it). Though, feel like Bell wouldn’t dream just some random bells. It could have been church bells. To Bell most of these kinds of dreams would be terribly vague, just the view of some greyish sky/landscape and the sound of church bells. I think this is how Bell’s subconsciousness was hinting to them that something was wrong, though they couldn’t tell what. And the sounds of those church bells could have mentally reminded them of Solovetsky and hinting at Perseus' location all along. After all, Perseus was meant to be in Solovetsky Monastery (a place with a church).
So yeah, that’s just a little thought I had :3
Duga ending Bell with Stockholm syndrome? Of course!
