Okayy! I was waiting for this, let's break this into two sections:
How would the (current) ROs react if the MC is suddenly being flirted with?
Aurelian: Imagine Aurelian becoming very annoyed, his jaw tensing and unknowingly tapping his foot impatiently on the ground. His mind would race as he tries to think of ways to defuse the situation. He might feel a surge of irritation wash over him, thinking how dare someone else try to charm the MC. (Aurelian might feel the same even as "friends" this boy smh 😌)
Elara: Elara would likely observe the situation and assess the intentions of the person doing the flirting before taking action. She may approach the MC and engage them in a conversation to redirect their attention elsewhere. She would subtly signal to the MC that she is aware of the situation and offer support if needed. If the MC is on the romance route, she may feel disappointed and disheartened but would still approach the situation in the same way.
Was King Aurelian the one who imprisoned the MC, or was it his father?
This is spoiler territory, but I can confirm that it was Aurelian who imprisoned the MC. However, the why's and the how's will be answered in the demo, hopefully. 😏

Hello anon! I'm doing better than yesterday, thank you for asking <3 How are you?
Note: Before each chapter, I will list warnings for anyone that want to see them.
Now, to answer your question, I have only two characters who exhibit red flag behavior. The first one is, of course, Aurelian. From his description, you can tell he has tendencies towards jealousy, dishonesty, manipulation, the need to possess everything (since he is sometimes a spoiled child lol), and he is a complex character that even I have a hard time expressing the way he thinks.
The second character is a secret 👀, but all I can say is that they are not heavy on the red flags, they just sadly don't know common decencies.
All im saying, it'd be better to start off fully with twine. Down the line, you might switch over from cs to twine and it'd be hassle trying to send over those variables from there to over there
Yeah, that thing that I was afraid of because I always had in mind to eventually make my game into twine. It might not compare, but I know the struggle of changing from one code source to another with past projects I did for college, and I really don’t want to stress over it when I could continue writing chapters.

Quick update: The cold is gone, but I still have coughs, but they're manageable lol. Also, I finally finished my project and submitted it! Ahh freedom at last.
The second thing I want to talk about is that I finished most of the ROS portraits on artbreeder. I just need to write their info and the ROS will be finally done!
Now I'm taking a little break and playing totk. Off topic, I really want to buy RE4 the remake someday.

those of you who have followed me for a while may have noticed that i took quite an extended absence from tumblr and i've been a bit cagey about why that is. i have been trying to be more thoughtful about the parts of myself i share with strangers on the internet, mostly as a way to guard against people who aren't very nice.
all of that being said, i've just finished my entry for the neo-twiny jam and i think the reason will be pretty obvious for everyone who plays it: i had a baby! (congratulations to me etc etc).
coming in at 494 words, this project has been a really cathartic opportunity to reflect concisely on one of the best and hardest things i've ever done.

Elara Pallas [RO] - The Counciler - Elf

Lady Elara Pallas is an elf and a member of the order. Her family is comprised of great scholars who have always placed a strong emphasis on her education and knowledge.
From a young age, Elara showed a remarkable aptitude for learning, and she quickly became known for her intelligence and analytical skills.
As she grew older, Elara became more interested in the world outside of Celestia. She studied the histories of different kingdoms, dangerous plants, and creatures that lurked around the forest that surrounds the gates of Celestia. She also learned about the ancient order of warriors and their role in maintaining peace, which fascinated her.
Elara was determined to join the order and become a councilor member herself. She knew that the hard work she put into studying and learning could finally be put to good use in the order, and she was eager to make a difference in the world.
As a councilor member of the order, Elara quickly distinguished herself as a skilled strategist. She was responsible for overseeing the order’s operations and making crucial decisions, and her calm and collected demeanor made her a respected figure within the kingdom.
Physical Appearance:
Elara has russet, reddish-brown skin with a warm, sun-kissed glow to it. Her big, dark eyes are full of intelligence and depth, and they sparkle with a curious glint whenever something interests her. Her features are delicate and refined, with full, expressive lips. Her hair is a rich shade of dark brown and falls in soft, shoulder-length ringlets around her face.
Elara is not one to draw attention to herself, and despite her parents disapproval, she prefers to dress in simple, comfortable clothing that allows her to move freely and focus on her work.

I just wanted to say that I’m taking a two week break and will resume being active again afterward. The reason is that I woke up with a high fever after getting some rest, and I think it's because I overworked myself on a major project that's due in a few days. Although I won't be entirely inactive during my break, I'll share some writing updates and snippets.

Their paths had crossed again on a day when the sun dipped below the horizon, and the moon reigned over the sky, casting its pale glow on the world below; on the world that Ida had come to know to mean more than rocks and trees, now including the slope of a nose and the curve of a hip. Lady Leith, lost in her thoughts, found herself seeking refuge beneath an ancient willow, a sacred space where the presence of love was ever palpable for the inhabitants of Riven, who sought such things in the face of everything horrid. Summer was fading now, the chill of the breeze enveloping the hesitance that lived within them both. Here, Ida watched as Leith ran fingers over her lips, contemplating. It had been only a month since they parted on that mission, where everything went wrong and blood had colored their clothes with rust and stain, and yet the kiss they had shared in the face of death had washed it all away.
Would she remember? Was it nothing to her?
Would nothing change?
It was there, beneath the weighing branches, that Leith's eyes met Ida’s again, and it was as if time stood still, and the universe conspired to bring their hearts together, yanking, violently, refusing to settle for a hazed dream behind closed eyes.

"Your cherry blossom lips, dewed with the honey I fed to you beneath the tombs of Oakweth,” Ida let her voice float on a cold wind, tender and tentative, “away from the pressures of what yesterday had wrought. How I miss the taste of them." Ida smiled as she approached, hiding her trembling hands with a voice as delicate as the branches that she pushed aside to venture closer.
Leith laughed, her heart caught in her chest. “Your poems had a way of making me… survive.”
“So I hoped. I couldn’t imagine a world-”
“We lived.”
“We did.” And as Ida stepped closer, her hand reaching out to gently touch Leith’s cheek, a surge of energy coursed through their veins, igniting a flame that could not be extinguished.
"Lady Leith, my persimmon. I yearn for autumn in your arms," Ida confessed, half poem, whole truth, her voice trembling with raw desire. “Have me to hold, as I will with you. For whatever time we have, for forever; for now."
In that moment, beneath the sacred tree, their lips met once more, sealing their vows in a violent kiss that trancendended any spoken or written word. Their love, forged in the crucible of yearning, would endure, unyielding and steadfast, like the ancient goddess of union who presided over their love.

Aurelian is the king who betrayed right? That is probably the most red flag romance I've ever seen (but who doesn't love angst).
Yup! Out of the two characters with red flags in my writing, the romance involving Aurelian is the one that promises the most angst, so brace yourself for an emotional rollercoaster.
Meet King Aurelian Caelum!
Aurelian Caelum [RO] - King of Celestia

Note: Time and agin is slow in this story and humans age differently, for example since Aurelian has an angelic background he can live for centuries but for humans, the longest life span they can have are between 200-250. Some may defer depends of their background.
Aurelian was born into a family with a long and proud heritage, tracing back six generations of rulers who have come before him. The family of Caelum is known for their angelic ancestry and golden eyes with each generation possessing a connection to the divine and a sense of nobility and grace.
From a young age, Aurelian was trained to be a ruler, learning the art of diplomacy and governance from his father (Lucius Caelum) who was a respected king. Aurelian always felt he was destined for greatness, and he was determined to be the greatest ruler the kingdom of Celestia had every seen.
When he ascended early to the throne, King Aurelian quickly made his mark on Celestia. He was decisive and confident, making bold moves to expand his influence. His charisma and commanding presence that he showcases to the people, made him a natural leader, and he quickly won the admiration and loyalty of his subjects.
Despite that, King Aurelian has a hidden personality that he never showcase to his people. Such as his selfish and dishonest tendencies. He becomes jealous of other people’s success and recognition, with his perfectionist attitude that lead him to demand nothing but the best from himself and others, and he could be harsh and demanding to those who failed to meet his high standards.
King Aurelian’s desire for possession and control can lead him to act in ways that immoral or unethical. He may manipulate and deceive others to achieve his goals or use his power to gain what his.
Physical Appearance:
King Aurelian is a striking figure, with tanned skin and piercing golden eyes that seems to glow with an inner light. His tall height and lean, muscular build give him an imposing presence, and he moves with a grace and fluidity that belies his strength. His short hair is pure white, and he sometimes leave it natural or style it in a swept back fashion. Despite his youthful appearance, there is a hint of wisdom in his gaze that suggests he has seen much in his life.

Earlier today, I was editing on Artbreeder for almost three hours (since I’m a perfectionist 😔) and I just finished the first RO appearance. I just need to add a couple of touch-ups and it will be done!

Looks cool, but what do you mean redemption? From what I can tell the Mc was betrayed by his king and comrades through no fault of his own. Do you mean redeeming the order or something like that?
You're right. The term "redemption" can refer to making up past mistakes or wrongdoing. But in the context of the story, the redemption the MC is after involves seeking justice(or other methods 👀) over the order and the betrayal they have experienced.
Maybe I could've worded it out better? What do you think? 🤔
