I'm very disappointed in the fact that the lasso scene from 92newsies was cut. There's no other scene like this in the movie?? I'm especially disappointed bc I'm 90% sure this scene was during "Santa Fe" which is HIS song. Also not to mention Christian didn't know how to lasso prior to the movie, so he had to learn how to do it, just for it to be cut??
Why did everyone decide that David and Jack are the "parents" of the Newsies? We're taking into account that Jack is 17, and Davey, according to the novel, is between 15 or 16, like, sure, they in the musical seem to have a bigger responsibility with the newsies, especially Jack, but they're still TEENAGERS, for God's sake 😭 let them be as chaotic as the other newsies pls
