Heartwarming DHMIS art request - Family Hug in your take on the charged batteries AU! Probably happens after the two accept Yellow as he is and he’s still their Yellow in his own way, and it’ll always be the Three of Them! Also, poor fully charged Yellow needs all the comfort he can get in his existentially fraught life!

Hi! So this ain’t a HUG, but it’s some bonding :^)

And also I think Red would enjoy fishing.

What I like about Yellow Guy is that he isn’t “stupid” by any means of the word, despite what Duck, Red Guy or the average viewer might think. He talks slow, he can be forgetful, and sometimes his words don’t come out right, but he’s consistently shows social and emotional awareness that the other two often lack, even without the batteries.

Yellow Guy is inquisitive, observant, and very empathetic. His brain friends, despite being based on basic concepts, have complex speech and thought. They know exactly what to say to Warren to make him feel comfortable. They compliment him, call him an eagle, and gently help him connect the wifi, which end up making the teacher feel *too* welcomed.

Unless pushed to the extreme, Yellow Guy has emotional maturity that the other two lack. Even behind the mirror as his “slower” self, he asks if he’s “gone wrong”, essentially pondering on whether he should be happier being able to think with better clarity, or being palatable to the ones he cares about. Or, if he should even care in the frist place, since they aren’t controlling him in any sense of the word.

Yellow Guy is the only person who manages to understand the social atmosphere at work, fitting in without effort after mere minutes. He is the only person who thought of saving Duck, despite Red Guy knowing full well that he was still “alive” beneath the ground. He is the only one who knew how to turn on the car, while Red Guy struggled to figure it out. Moments like these showcase a greater depth in Yellow Guy.

Heck, it’s possible that Yellow Guy might’ve obtained batteries/the book in the past, only to willingly disregard them when the pain of reality became too much to bare. Ignorance is bliss, especially when you live in an inescapable nightmare. Even if you seemingly have all the answers, there is always somebody else controlling you.

And, at the end of the day, Yellow Guy wants to please the people most important to him: Duck and Red Guy.

i love setting my ocs in a horrible universe with an awful backstory and current situation and then falling over on my face trying to draw them in funny little fruity outfits dancing or something as fast as i can instead of idk. developing their personality more

Facts that are kinda overlooked on Warren the eagle

He has trouble with paying attention to what people are saying  (also mishears things) and is forgetful 

He literally has a pin stuck on his body

He makes squelching noises when moving

He is desensitised to gore

Any headcanons about Lesley?

Unlike the trio, who look like they're made of felt but have internal organs and blood, Lesley has nothing but stuffing inside despite her realistic appearance.

Because of this, she can easily repair herself (so if her arm came off or something she could just sew it into place and it would be fine). The patches on her face are from previous fixes she did.

She did not make everything and there's someone/something above her that controls her like she controls the puppets. She doesn't like people knowing this, however, and she won't let anyone go past the stairs.

Her human appearance may or may not be what she actually looks like.

She made her clothes herself

She influences what happens each episode but doesn't control every single action or thought the trio take.

The teachers are aware of her but are also terrified of her. They also aren't allowed to speak of her in front of the trio

Chaotic neutral. No one knows what her MO is and everyone's too scared to ask

She spends most of her time scripting episodes, writing music, and making replacement figures. She gets lonely from time to time, so she appreciates Yellow's visits.

She had no intention of letting Yellow read the book, she was just distracting him so he wouldn't notice the next staircase.

She can technically go downstairs, but she never does as the trio knowing about her existence tends to ruin the episodes if not fixed by the end.

Yellow is her favorite followed by Duck. Red is her least favorite because he's the least motivated and least creative of the bunch (though she was impressed by his escape attempt in 5)

dhmis episode where it’s about marriage

duck and red get married (forced for ghe education) and as the episode goes in they turn into a toxic marriage, fighting yellin n shit while yellow is kind of like their kid being raised in a toxic family and like. does that make sense sigh.

etc etc, they’re reluctant for a bit,

but it gets worse then after a while they fight more while yellows just like ☹️😕😦 in the background

later later after a big fight duck leaves divorce prbly abandons yellow and red an. red is all broken up about it, and duck goes out to live his best divorced dad life .

yellow comes up and starts like. singing. smthn lkke love isn’t always forever. mommy and daddy don’t stay together. feelings change. people drift away. etc idk idk.

then it just goes back to normal and theyr like. hm.
