[3/50 days of productivity]
this morning was spent doing some biology revision of the heart, and then some musical periods revision as i’m doing my grade 6 violin exam at the end of may and needed a refresher on the key elements of each era🎻
🎶- requiem: dear evan hansen
[2/50 days of productivity]
biology flashcards for dayz son (to quote jake peralta)
🎶- bloom; the paper kites
[1/50 days of productivity]
exam season approaches (first exam in 14 days oh my wORD) so i’m going to do 50 days of productivity! here’s some practice analysis of ‘havisham’ which i genuinely love analysing, there’s so many possibilities! here’s to hoping one of the poetry essay questions fit well.
🎶- borodin’s 2nd symphony in B minor
finally beginning to reach the end of term two- the easter break is next week and after that i’m back at school for two days and then off on exam leave for a month! and then because the school system is odd here we begin the next year of school at the start of june and break up for summer a month later, not long!!
some pressure notes (i find it deeply amusing that there’s charles’ law and boyle’s law because of the character charles boyle in b99) (me and my friends often write each other notes on our books and recently our humour mostly involves brexit and theresa may- in retaliation to this i wrote brexit and drew a heart around it on her hand oops)
scottish politics revision and fruit water bc strawberries are finally back in season here 🍓
my favourite time to work is late weekend mornings in the kitchen. my family sometimes bumble around which makes for nice background noise & obviously there’s the bonus of whatever food they’re making!
chemistry revision & my great gran’s soup recipe <3
(ft my new technique of summarising each topic on a post-it note)
controversial: the critical reading paper is my favourite part of the english exam.
captain marvel spread
[because carol danvers owns my WHOLE ass i love her with all my being]
how cute are these revision posters lmao i’m so proud of them. i still can’t believe i won’t be doing biology next year though, i cant imagine not going to that classroom anymore.
modern studies is my least favourite class, i hate it so so much. i genuinely can’t wait for the exam so i can drop it lmao, @ any scottish followers does anybody else have the misfortune of doing this class?? please dm me lets discuss our anguish
i don’t often post english notes but here’s some annotations on ‘the lottery’ (which has a truly AWFUL short film on youtube. it was probably filmed on a potato and has the longest, most awkward pauses between lines which are word for word the same as the story)
some voltage divider worked examples because they confused the hell out of me
i’ve read more books in 2019 than i did in 2018 and it’s only march... oops. also i’ve watched some really different tv shows/ movies and i’ve enjoyed broadening my taste ig. i really want to watch captain marvel next !! if you want to see what books i’m reading have a look at my other blog @laurensreadinglist19 <3
statistics are my least favourite maths topic but hey 🤷🏻♀️ that’s how it be
here’s a lil timelapse of some feb weekly spreads !! : )
my grandparents went to a little bakery in st. andrews and picked up fudge donuts !!
