First of all, for those of you who didn't know, I don't ship anything besides mine and others selfships, I am just absolutely for every ship existing and being supported. Second of all any dark fictional concepts I enjoy is a reflection of my OWN trauma in some way or another and it helps me process and cope, though darkshipping is still valid even if it isn't for the sake of coping. Third of all I'm not attracted to real people like at all so getting with a man or anyone IRL is highly unlikely. Fourth of all trauma can't be gatekept, when people enjoy fictional darkships or dark scenarios I can assure you they more than likely are not sitting here like 'oh yeah this is this one persons trauma, I will incorporate it into a ship for the sole purpose of romanticizing this said persons trauma' like that just doesn't happen. Either they're coping with their OWN trauma or just find it interesting to explore in fiction. Fifth of all it's absolutely okay to hate or dislike me but interacting with me at all is breaking your own boundaries, boundaries have to be fulfilled by both parties and if you break your own boundary that isn't my fault. Sixth of all this sounds quite personal and emotional so I hope you have a good day and learn to respect your own boundaries so you don't cause yourself and anyone else any unnecessary distress. To be honest I've been wondering this too 😭 I feel like everytime I try to read up on it something different is said. I don't know what identities/labels are included nor if they're in good faith or anything so that's why i haven't voiced my view on radqueers, I don't know enough 😭 If anyone sees this and would like to provide an answer it'd be much appreciated!

Hi anon! I only mean harmful paras, such as if it involves parties that are unable to consent and/or it will cause harm to said parties (children, animals, things of this nature.) People can't control where their attractions lie, so if they are a paraphile with the attraction to said things I won't discriminate against the attraction by itself, especially if they are receiving help for it or have absolutely no intention to act on their attraction, I'm just strictly anti-contact in regards to those paras and don't want to interact with people who are pro-contact. I really adore the proship darkshippers/darkfic creators who go out of the canon and interpret characters however the hell they want to. The ones who are feral about it and either make an already villainous character worse or make a canonically heroic or innocent character batshit insane. I'm saying all of this for a reason, it's fun and interesting, and I'm actually really interested in knowing what you guys do to make your favorite characters or ships worse too, if you do that, that is. This is a safe space to rant about all the interesting and creative thoughts you have about that; the what ifs, the complexities, the alternate universes, the dark gruesome gut wrenchingly vile scenarios, etc; I'd like to hear all about it. No matter if it 'fits canon' or not. It's so cool to see how people interpret characters compared to their canon sources. There's no limit to what your mind can come up with and I want you all to have the space to jot it down and tell someone about it. The creativity and imagination you guys hold will always be appreciated whether you know it or not.

Also, if you're a proshipper who doesn't indulge in dark fiction feel free to still do the same with this post, it absolutely does not need to be dark and gruesome to be written and expressed. I'll be interested either way to see your own interpretations of things. Make them worse, make them better, change them into something completely different, put them in any scenario you want- good, bad, sweet and fluffy or whump and pure angst or a complex mix of both, turn them into a completely unrecognizable celestial being even though they're canonically just some average joe, have fun and do whatever you want forever.
