The kids in my class all seem to get along with one another.

They all seem to be having fun.

Some kids spare me a quick glance

But then quickly return to playing.

I wonder if they ever feel lonely or anxious.

They all seem to understand each other.

What to say, what to do, and how to express themselves.

It makes me think that they had the key to being themselves.

While mine was lost and buried so I could never find it.

"Nice job, Chansey. I appreciate your help." Smiling, you watched as the normal-type Pokémon plastered the final bandaid onto Gold's torso, covering the cut there.

While she tended to the numerous smaller injuries to his body, you focused on bandaging his limbs, making sure they were wrapped snuggly into stumps.

Of course, you weren't worried about him getting any infection since, well..he was dead. He couldn't catch the common cold even if he tried.

But you knew that he's been insecure about leaking blood everywhere and grossing out everyone he met, so you decided to do something about it and let him into one of your clinical rooms at the Pokémon Center.

Being a nurse who helped patients with traumatic injuries had its perks, as you knew exactly how to help your boyfriend.

However, it was only now that he decided to trust you enough to do this. He used to flinch at being touched before, and so for him to approach you and finally agree to this brought you relief.

He allowed you pull off his hat, jacket, and shirt, leaving just his shorts on before you got to work patching him up. You could see how flustered he was, cheeks turning pink despite his expression remaining blank. But he didn't complain once, simply nodding when you asked if he was okay so far.

However, after giving Chansey a treat for her good work before sending her out of the room, you were confused when Gold seemed...even sadder than before.

He didn't look happy in the slightest, staring at his covered wounds with a frown.

"What's wrong, love? You look sad." You remarked, gently running your fingers through his hair. When he didn't answer you, worries began clouding your mind. "If you need anything else..please tell me. I'm here to help you, no matter what."

"I feel...fine, but...." He stopped, looking down at the bandages on where his legs would've been. "I....I could just use a hug. But I know I look...d-disgusting...so.." His breath hitched, tears of blood leaking from his eye sockets as he began regretting such a stupid request. "Forget it...I-I don't need anything else.."

Your heart broke at the fact he thought that about himself. But then again...this was probably the first time he was seeing himself after his death on that mountain. He had been stuck in those same clothes for years until you came along.

Now with most of them off, it reminded him that he's just a limbless frostbit corpse...and always will be.

How were you not grossed out?

"Gold..." Frowning slightly, you sat beside him and pulled him into a hug, feeling him shake with quiet sobs. His skin was freezing cold, but you did your best to keep him warm. "You don't look disgusting to me at all."

Hearing you call him that left Beautiflies in his stomach. No matter if you said it once, or a million times..that will never fail to make him flushed.

It didn't help matters when you kissed the top of his head, although he eventually relaxed in your arms, head against your chest as he listened to your heartbeat. And he closed his eyes, for once not feeling anymore pain.

He thought he was beyond help, but you proved him wrong.

Lilith looked up at her grandmother feeling skeptical about her words. “Trust me my darling I went through the same thing.” Anastasia said as she ran her soft but slightly faded and worn out fingers through her granddaughter’s blue hair. “Although I wasn’t technically human.” Anastasia said with a light chuckle. Lilith smiled at her grandmother. “You’re growing up to be a wonderful young woman.” Anastasia smiled sweetly at Lilith. “My Lithie, my beautiful iris.” Anastasia kissed both of her granddaughter’s cheeks. “Thank you grandmother.” Lilith thanked her. “Your welcome, my dear. Now you better not let those nasty thoughts get the better of you.” Anastasia got up from the couch. “Come on.. Let’s go and make some tottenham cake.” Anastasia said as she lightly pinched her daughter’s cheek. “It’s still your favorite right deary?” Anastasia asked Lilith. “Yes, it’s still my favorite!” Lilith said with a bright smile. Anastasia chuckled as she let go of Lilith’s cheek. “Alright, let’s head to the kitchen..” Anastasia wrapped an arm around Lilith’s shoulder. “I love you” Lilith told her grandmother. “I love you more sweetheart. More than you can imagine.” Anastasia with a loving and gentle voice.

Context: Lilith is Anastasia’s adopted granddaughter. She is 16 years old while her grandmother is 49 years old. Anastasia and her husband are both elves. Anastasia had a daughter who is also an elf who she named Diana. Diana fell in love with a human but sadly she could not bear children. So Diana and her husband adopted a little girl who happened to be born with blue hair. Diana and her husband were so happy to have a child but Anastasia refused to accept the child because she wasn’t born into the family the traditional way but as Lilith turned 4 years old. Anastasia started to warm up to the child and they bonded with each other and Anastasia loved Lilith to bits but as Lilith turned 16 years old. Anastasia noticed a change in Lilith’s behavior. So she sat Lilith down and started to get to the bottom of her granddaughter’s weird change in behavior.

↳ Definitely teases. Bro would come up behind his significant other, and either pick them up or jump on their back.

↳ BEN has severe ambivert energy. He LOVES hanging out with people, like Jeff and Sally.

↳ BUT, he also likes his privacy, so, bitches better give him that, or they’ll meet with a terrible fate.

↳ I just thought of this while cleaning my room, but If you take your phone with you to bathroom, he’s using that as a way to come into the bathroom and talk with you.

↳ BEN would sit on the floor next to you, maybe his face is resting on your thigh, or he’s got his arms wrapped around you, while you do whatever.

↳ Definitely a cuddles. So if his significant other isn’t the biggest fan of touch, he’d be a little sad he can’t touch you whenever.

↳ I can 100% image him just sitting, shaking with energy, and you come up and ask him for a hug, and he just practically explodes.

I feel like there are a lot of people out there who needs to hear this:

If you dropped out of school because of diagnosed (or undiagnosed) ADHD, Autism, ADD, OCD, Dyslexia, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, schizophrenia etc… You did not fail. The education system failed you.

Coffee Sisters and It’s champagne weather are so lovely in my opinion.
