The Entity Headcannons P6

I knew this was worth it.

I haven’t watched Grian’s ep11 since I know it is going to TAKE me. I am going to be off in la la land for a good 6 hours rambling about this rock and because exams I haven’t had a day I can give up like that. So instead that shall be p7 of headcannons, I will not be okay. I’ve been stanning this rock since day 1! Y’all are late to the party! :D ( This will also be spoiler free for those who haven’t watched Grian’s ep11 too! )

The Mumbo has lost his jumbo, o7, the man is down to one braincell. s9 ep9 my beloved.

The Entity is a disconnected piece of The Big Rock. They’re both stealing things from the world. What The Big Rock, or Dwanye as I’ll be calling it, got its items from The Rift and yoinked them up. The Entity just travelled a bit away, for why I will wonder, hopefully Grian will get us the actual answer for that someday. But for now I’m saying The Entity wanted to be its own eldritch being and you go you you little rock. I swear I’m getting the adoption papers ready!

Obviously these 3 are very connected. The Rift spits out items, Dwanye yoinks them up, and The Entity is a piece of Dwanye. Who knows, maybe even Dwanye came from The Entity and whichever realm it was from. Just slowly, overtime, eating up everything it spits out, slowly growing in size and becoming more powerful with time. Atoms change and whichever law that’s called, using them to get bigger, and slowly get more rocks? Cause there’s the main one, then tons of others all around- the entity is just one of those. That means they’re all similar, Dwanye has children!

May we all wish Dwanye a happy baby shower? Its a parent to many and deserves many gifts, maybe a few glowing purple eyes the children would enjoy!

The Entity left home to become a business man, I’m so proud of it, its succeeding in life. Making so very much money and food to bring home! Dwanye is tearing up right now. Who needs college when you’re a siren rock am I right?

I was pacing and thinking about Techno's speech and about Thesues, and how he said “So you want to be a hero Tommy?” He said want. And that sparked my interest. Which then redeemed this rant on Tommy’s character. ( I’m new to this please be nice to me. This was just a ramble I did on a discord in a #lore channel. This includes a few of the concepts we’ve came together with on the discord and that have been developed, Dream’s character being a big reason. )

He's the only character on the SMP with black and white views. Everyone else has some form of gray in their choices, can acknowledge they messed up from people around them. The only people I see relating to Tommy's views closely are Schaltt and Dream. Schaltt never admitted he was good, never admitted he was bad either. But he desired power. And everyone left him. Everyone hated him. He was left alone and in his final moments acknowledged he was in the bad. Saw that he was the bad guy to everyone.

Dream once held a large part of Tommy's views. Dream wanted to be the hero. He wants a era of peace, he wants a Dystopia. A group of people aligned under laws intended to create peace, but in the end will cause chaos. Maybe not terribly bad laws, but enough to hold peace as he cares for those within his kingdom. He cares for justice and will enforce the laws, no matter what it takes. He wants a land of peace. A land where friends can all be "one big happy family." Dream realized that promoting peace, promoting pacifist ideals wouldn't achieve those desires. First he offered peace to L'manburg, and when they denied to raise the white flags? Second, he attacked. He was enforcing the law and believing he was enforcing peace within his nation, when all he was brewing was war. He saw himself as the good guy. The leader trying to create peace for his nation. Then this desire became impossible with Tommy. Dream always took brash actions to get what he desired, - take banning Tommy on his first day due to the chaos he brought to the server, or exploding L’manburg, - he takes the steps he needs to enforce the peace, believing he's the hero all along the way. Tommy existing has created chaos. Ruined peace. L'manburg disrupted his peace. Wilbur was apart of this chaos, and Dream got rid of him. Dream is willing to become the bad guy to protect his nation and help bring it to peace, even if that means he needs to become the villain in everyone's eyes. ( Or he got corrupted by chaos and power. ) "You either die a hero, or live long enough to become the villain." He tried to be the hero, - possibly still tries to be the hero, - and became the bad guy. ( This was heavily iffy. Learning new things about Dream's character after writing some more. )

Tommy tries to be the hero.

Tommy has his black and white views. No matter what - Tommy is always in the right. ( When we are reading a story, there's our protagonist and antagonist. Usually our protagonist, - Tommy, - is in the morally right. ) Spite him stealing and griefing others houses, blowing them up and teasing others. Being blatantly rude, even towards his friends at times. Doesn't listen to orders and goes against them, is brash and quickly jumps to fighting. ( How much of this is morally good? ) Tommy's always in the right. He's the hero in his own story no matter how bad he is. He'll never admit he's in the wrong. He can't admit the such. Look at what happened to Wilbur? What if I became the same? Went insane and died? I promised to not be Wilbur- I refuse to be Wilbur. 

Tommy tried to be the hero, and did good things! ( Theseus tried to be the hero, and did good slaying the Minotaur. ) Tommy had to be good. No matter what. He'll never see himself as the villain, he’ll never be a bad guy, never be the villain. No one else believes there is a hero. No one else has the purely black and white views. Only Tommy does. Tommy is the hero. He's the only option - the only person who can truly fit being the hero. He's the only one who truly believes there's a hero.

"So you want to be the hero Tommy? Then die like one!"

The poem is lovely and yes eldritch horror lets go! Patpat, go on little horror breathing rock. I swear the heartbeat is nice, I don’t get this fear aspect.

There's a horror that's appeared

To the unseeing

It's just a rock

A simple, normal rock

But how it breathes

You can see it take a breath

This boulder? I love this boulder.

It absorbs the items that are placed nearby its sides. When Grian is selling certain items, the boulder changes absorbs the items and adapts- its like camouflage! Right now it looks like a normal boulder because of the fact that its placed on stone and adapting to said stone. The green is its base form!

Somehow, it correlates to Watcher!Grain. Either he helped create is, understands what it is, ect. It’s not meant to be understood despire other’s curiosity. The Entity is just meant to look cool after a period of time, and somewhere everyone should shop and love and shop there and hear the heart beat.

They still don’t understand how the sand on its side isn’t falling, its almost stuck to The Entity somehow.

The heart, although normally would be quite creepy, its not. No one knows why, but the feel of the shop is calming. To the other hermits it makes sense as to why Grian lived in it and made it into a shop. There’s flakes in the air, the Boulder is dim, a few lanterns hanging from glowstone, gold, and shroomlights all around, leading and highlighting each item. Throughout The Entity, the heart beats. It’s a long, drawn out song that twinkles with the amethyst below the hermits feet.

I want to start a rock collection, I adore this little eldritch rock. I want to hold and never let go. Also it’d be sick if it was inspired by the Boatem Eldritch Horror the fanbase created.

I also personally see Cross and Dream fitting the Odysseus and Penelope roles very well tbh
