OMGEEZ, this just has to be addressed, something with the animation community online >_< !!!

I hate that the community is powered by nothing but trends now. Like the recent “Sinking Town” animation memes I’ve seen, they are incredible every time I see them. But tell me why there are other posts with the captions “don’t let this trend end” or “sorry I’m a little late to this trend”

Like…. I hate that so much. An animation meme or just and animation pattern in general shouldn’t be treated as a “trend” or something that lasts for an only a week or two. Animations take a lot of time and I find it disheartening that there are people who are pressured to rush an animation to stay on a trend. That’s just downright ridiculous.

There are animation memes from 2015-2016 that STILL hold up today!

This whole “trend” thing is horrible for the animation community and especially young animators/artists.

It boils my blood seeing the say the internet is now, trends go by too fast, content is just soulless, people are unreasonably mean and ignorant, everybody loves finding excuses to get mad at things. (And I know I’m doing that right now, but that’s because this is important)

I feel like this TikTok can sum this rant up for me.

I know time moves on and things have to change, but this is absolutely upsetting seeing the same cycle since lockdown and it’s depressing!! :((

But of course there’s nothing I can do about this and the internet is just going to be the internet.

Hopefully one day online spaces can be fun again like they used to :/

I've been making a whole reimagination of the " "FABLES" world and the game "The Wolf Among Us" It was this idea after replaying it for the first time after years when I watched my friends older brother play it, stuff I shouldn't have been seeing as a second grader but it stuck in my mind, and considering that the comics ended and TWAU 2 isn't having any further new... better time than not to make a new era,

"Fables and Fairytales get adaptations and remade wouldn't it be ironic to do that with the series." Is what I thought, It was a combination of playing TWAU along with other driving influences like "American McGees Alice", and watching Tim Burtons "Batman" and "Batman Returns."

Now this is not a fan made sequel, but a whole new thing with characters neglected or never shown, new aesthetics and vibes, new relationships, Villains, and from the ground storylines (besides Adaptations/ Retellings of the Crooked Man Story Arc, Fables vol 1 and 2, along with some Cinderella stories) If you wish to see more or know more message me here on Tumblr, See you soon Mundies and Fables alike.

Help a Family in Need

I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Mohamad S., who is facing one of the most challenging times of his life. Mohamad is 37 years old and left his homeland in 2015 in search of a safer and better future. He’s a kind, hardworking man, and his small family has always been his greatest priority.

Living abroad, Mohamad has recently endured unimaginable loss and financial strain. Amidst the ongoing conflict in his homeland, his mother passed away, leaving behind his sister and her five young children—the last remaining members of his immediate family.

As the situation worsened, Mohamad managed to help his sister and her children escape to safety in Egypt, covering their immediate needs and securing a temporary refuge for them. Since then, he has been fully responsible for providing everything they need to survive during this transition.

In his efforts to support his family and cope with this devastating loss, Mohamad has found himself deeply in debt. To make matters even more difficult, he recently underwent knee surgery, which limits his ability to return to work for the foreseeable future. This has made it even harder for him to manage his financial responsibilities and the pressing need to provide his family with a stable future.

Mohamad is now working to bring his sister and her five children to join him in Belgium, where he hopes they can find stability and opportunity after all they’ve endured. This transition, however, requires significant resources that he is currently unable to meet alone.

For privacy reasons, we are not sharing Mohamad’s full name, as he has chosen to keep his identity discreet. While he initially refused the idea of asking for help, I couldn’t stand by and watch him struggle alone. I insisted on doing this for him because he deserves a chance to overcome these challenges.

Your contribution will help Mohamad repay the debt incurred during this difficult time, cover ongoing living expenses for his family, and assist with the costs involved in bringing them safely to Belgium.

Mohamad has been a good friend of mine for years, and I’ve always admired his resilience and generosity. Any support, no matter the size, will make an incredible difference in helping Mohamad and his family rebuild their lives after these painful experiences.

Thank you for reading his story and considering helping a man who has always done everything he can for his loved ones.

Making an oc for a game that not a lot of people know anymore and is basically niche

I do want to list basic info about Katty though (and I know I’m not the first person to make a Cheshire Cat oc for TWAU)

TW: WOKE because trans people (I don’t wanna hear it bruh it’s my oc I can do whatever tf I want😽)

The Cheshire Cat, or more known as Catty is a shadow shapeshifter (I decided on this direction because of the world’s style how everything is very shadowy and I just made the classic disappearing powers just connect to the shadows)

bi gender (goes by whatever form they feel like presenting that day cause in almost every iteration of the Cheshire Cat, he’s either male or female presenting)

She’s a photographer (a good tool cause for how sneaky she is, she has quite a LOT of information about Fable town, but is he going to straight up tell everything to Bigby? Nah. They’re more of a riddles type of person, like in the story of wonderland, The Cheshire Cat is supposed to be a guide but kinda makes Alice figure it out on her own, which is very annoying if Katty knows almost everything)

She’s been offered to work for the sheriff’s department but he’s turned it down, even if she can play a good role. (It’s mainly because he’s on her own schedule, hint hint her necklace cause her sense of time doesn’t make sense to others)

Relationships:

The sheriff’s department does NOT like Katty, mainly for her lawful chaotic nature, especially Snow White, but she does appreciate Katty for her ability to help with the ribbon case.

Bigby and Katty have the classic dog and cat trope, he tolerates her though, they’ve been long time friends since the homelands and even if she didn’t see it before, he’s a treasure to her, a treasure that she can never have.

Alice and Katty go way back but he hasn’t seen her in years, for sure she lives in England, but their friendship has always been topsy tervy.

Lily, she knew her for a while, still a good friend, both very entertaining gossip girls, Katty was crushed to find out about her fate.

She only knew Faith briefly but knew her story

Never had a good feeling about Crane

Mutuals with Beauty and Beast through Bigby, but knows about their debts

This is an oc that’s still in development but I’m always making shit up in my head, but i have her final design look in mind. I’ve been thinking of making an animatic with her too
