Sebastian Vettel: "The importance is that you always see the person, you see the people behind. Whatever it is, if we can make somebody feel better in the body they are in, the life they're living - the way we treat them, if it helps to make that person happier, we have to accept and respect people the way they are. And trying to force something upon them, by nature I think is wrong. I really like the sincere, compassionate, simple logic of his explanation. Respecting and accepting trans people helps make them happier. Ergo, we should. And being jerks to trans people, trying to force them to not be who they are, is inherently wrong (and doesn't help make them happier). Ergo, we shouldn't.
Dear trans people: Sebastian Vettel wants you to be accepted, respected, and happy. The way you are.
