I believe in a lot of things but not everything others might believe in. I don't judge. That's not my job. I love God and Just want to continue my walk in him. I love all but don't appreciate ignorance. Music is the hope of the heart.

Nicole Beharie is a talented actress. She’s played Jackie Robinson’s wife, Rachel, in 42, had a supporting role in the critically-acclaimed Steve McQueen film, Shame, and was a fan favorite on Sleepy Hollow. Since her departure from the hit television show, fans have been waiting to see what the actress does next. Beharie is currently working on a remake of Jacob’s Ladder, but it seems in her downtime she’s been having a little fun.
In a recent video posted to YouTube, Beharie sings Drake’s “Hotline Bling” in a playful country voice. Now, we know she’s just joking around, but we would buy that album in a second. Send us that SoundCloud link, Nicole! The actress doesn’t just slay “Hotline Bling” either. There’s another video from about a year ago that includes Beharie singing Björk’s “Unravel.”
We know you’re busy, Nicole, but maybe your next project could be dropping a few tracks. It doesn’t even have to be a full-length album or original songs, we just want to hear you sing! - Essence Magazine

We’ve all heard of Betty Boop. But how many of you knew that she was based off of a BLACK woman.
Yes Betty Boop was based off of Ms.Esther Jones known by her stage name “Baby Esther”. She was an African-American singer and entertainer of the 1920’s. Her singing trademark was “Boop oop da doop” hence the name Betty Boop! She performed regularly at the cotton club in Harlem,New York.
