i feel like the next world record will be decided in the fort split
like the blind will be lucky and the early game will be clean, it will probably be a zero but like its probably gonna be a god fort split
all the other splits will be just clean and played well but the fort will carry it

I don’t know the American players well enough to make those speculations, but the thing about people like Knight is that they aren’t easily replaced by athletes who are simply ‘good at hockey’, her leadership and her drive to grow the game are also a part of why she is who she is and why her impact is so immense.
Eventually all records are broken, you see talent surges and the game improves over time, but I don’t see the void she leaves behind being filled anytime soon.
The expansion draft is kinda funny in the way that it's like Christmas for the Seattle and Vancouver fans and like getting robbed at gunpoint for everyone else.
