this fandom is so black and white when it comes to characterization, nobody realizes it’s a balance and just runs with one thing. I know everyone thinks Lottie wasn't popular because she was lonely and I get that, but has anyone considered she wasn't unpopular? Seeing her in the pilot she was pretty confident and snarky. Honestly pretty similar to Tai.
I think there's a distinction to be made here with the difference of being alone and being lonely. Lottie was not alone. She had friends. If no one else, Tai and Van. Taissa literally slapped her ass in the pilot.
She is lonely, but I wouldn't say she was unpopular. She was rich and had parents who were never home, which meant there's a high possibility she threw parties. That kind of thing would make her popular.
