Usually, Glee's "here's what you missed" bit is structured to have relevance to the episode it's on, rather than what was important in the last episode. Like, they will completely summarize story lines being continued, sometimes going back into a previous season to cover the plot points needed. By not mentioning Rachel and Klaine setting their virginity free, they're not trying to make it seem like it never happened. They're waiting for an episode that continues story lines in which those events are relevant.
Am I the only one whose upset of the fact that the glee recap on the beginning of the Mash Off episode, they did not mention Klaine and Rachel losing their virginity?
That was a big thing in last week’s episode and them not mentioning it seems like it never happened. Making it worse for new viewers and us shippers angry to understand the situation, since last week there were no scenes to prove that they really did it.

I could understand being concerned or whatever about producers or the network or someone changing the episode if the writer had brought ANY new information to the table, but it is seriously just a hodge-podge of spoilers and interviews that we've already seen and heard. She has not seen the episode, she has no inside scoop, and she is seriously just posting her own speculation on a website that would just as easily accept an article written by you or me.
Ausiello is a credible source because he actually has a relationship with Glee PR that allows him to get the inside scoop. If the episode was being changed, they would not throw him under the bus by keeping him out of the loop. They would let him know so he could retract his statement (as he has done in the past,) and retain his credibility.

I'm actually really glad they did the scene like this, because I think it's important that people see how awkward and unnatural it is for a couple who clearly adore each other and want to express affection to act like this, and realize how important it is to work towards making schools more safe and accepting so that kids like Kurt and Blaine can feel safe enough to just kiss.

You know what, Tumblr? I think 1000+ of you guys are grossly underestimating the awesomeness of having female friends. You can steal their clothes and talk about both Lady Issues and Non-Lady Issues with them and if you happen to get blackout drunk in their company, you can be pretty sure that they will not take advantage of you (aside from maybe taking some regrettable pictures and refusing to untag you in them). They can counsel you on things that, let’s face it, guys generally do not understand (both shallow and serious). I love having guy friends, but I also loooove having female friends. I don’t know why there’s this stigma surrounding girl-girl friendships, but it needs to end.
You say “Girls stab you in the back?” No, kids, bad friends stab you in the back. Gender has nothing to do with it. “Girls are catty?” Not all of us! Just like how not all guys aren’t super-cool chill bros who “have your back” all the time! The genders aren’t divided along such simple lines. Stop acting like they are, and stop encouraging lady-on-lady hate. Because honestly, if you don’t get along with any of the girls you know, I hate to be the bearer of bad news… but the chances are good that you are the problem.

This stemmed from a discussion I’ve had with several people in the past about how there’s such a marked difference between Darren and Blaine, and how it goes well beyond the simple cosmetic aspects, such as what he’s wearing or how his hair looks.
Things like Darren’s hair or even his adorable post-Coachella painted nails do help to distinguish the actor from the character, but’s there’s also a lot more to it than that.
Darren just imbues such an effervescence and animation into everything he does. His sincerity and genuineness are rather transparent in all of his interviews.
In contrast, Blaine is far more reserved in both manner and expression. He shares Darren’s sincerity, certainly, but he rarely lets it show outside of a handful of private moments with Kurt (in which he simultaneously wears his heart on his sleeve and in his eyes), or when his normal reticence is inhibited by his blood alcohol level.
However, even in scenes such as this one from BIOTA where some of Darren’s goofy mannerisms are bleeding through, it is obviously a conscious decision for the portrayal, because there is also a generous helping of discomfort and self-doubt that very much belong to Blaine.
Darren just has this aura of self-confidence that Blaine doesn’t really have. In fact, the only times I can really see this same sense of self-worth in Blaine is during performances, when Blaine affects this cocky air of confidence as part of his on-stage demeanor.
Essentially what I’m saying is that I have a great deal of love and respect for both Darren Criss and Blaine Anderson, but for very different reasons. Darren is someone I actually look up to and admire for all his good work and success (despite the fact that he’s younger than me), whereas Blaine is essentially this lost little puppy that I want to take home and take care of.
They are both puppies, though.
