My reads so far this month 📚 Cassandra Clare did not disappoint with the first book in her new Shadowhunters trilogy. I was engrossed and could not put it down! I fell in love with the setting, the characters and her writting all over again. March 2021 is too far away for the sequel! I mostly read this book in physical form and through Audible. 📚 My second read comes with multiple triggers such as child grooming, suicidal thoughts, drug and alcohol abuse. My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell was devastatingly beautiful and harrowing read. The story of a teacher/student relationship that was terrifying to read but also eye opening to see how manipulative and charming abusers can be. It feels weird to say I loved reading this due to the triggering content and controversial topics but this book will be staying in my mind for a while. Harley x The Joker - No Thanks

What is it with TV shows and Films romanticising relationships to gain more followers! DC has seriously messed their shit up with the representation of Harley and Joker's relationship! The Joker is represented as some lovestruck obsessed boyfriend but in the comics he couldn't give a rat's ass about her. She was a means to an end for him getting out of Arkham Asylum. Yeah she loves him but its been shown throughout the comics that she's nothing more than a hidrance to him with a tiny bit of value. I feel they should've shown more of the abusive side of their relationship and shown how Harley doesn't really need him. She has her Suicide pals and can very much 'make it' on her own... or with Ivy whichever she prefers 😍 *Rant Over*
