hi, do you have some words of encouragement for the fat transmascs? feeling a bit "curvy" over there and it's fucking me up a little
Being fat and hairy is peak male form even if people deny it. It’s the best that can happen to you.
happy tummy tuesday ya filthy animals
tip the dog!! my car blew up and I need to buy another to keep getting to and from work!
So it JUST dawned on me that anyone who looks at my banner and sees the flag I have there, might be super confused what it is, so I'll go ahead and explain, since I love this flag and want others to know about it!
Original image with alternative design
This was designd by Johnathan Andrew (Captain John) in 1999, shared on his website Adventures In Boyland (not preserved), the same year as the most famous design we all know and love by Monica Helms.
The meaning behind the flag in Johnathan's own words, presumably from his website:
“And finally, an AiB Exclusive—the Transgender Pride Flag (c)1999. Yes, indeedy—it’s about time we had our own symbol to represent the community, ain’t it? Bears have theirs. Leathermen have theirs. Why can’t we have ours? And might we say that we feel these designs, designed by your friendly neighborhood Captain, embodies all aspects of our identities. Whether we’re transgender or transsexual, going from male (blue) to female (pink) or from female (pink) to male (blue), or just somewhere in between, both flag designs capture the subtlties and the strengths of our spirits (and the white accents in between the lines are the—supposedly—the little triumphs that happen upon us during our journeys to become whole (the flag as a whole)). The lavender-colored sex symbol—not to be confused with The Artist Currently Not Known as Purple’s symbol—can also designate FtM/MtF/or Intersexed/Both/Shifting. As you can see, both flag designs/symbols can be used to encompass all types of gender variation. Hell, who knows, maybe it just might catch on”
I know you might be thinking, "why not just use the Monica Helms flag? It's more recognizable and looks better" And I can't really argue with you there, the flag is... Crass, and 99% of people who see it aren't going to recognize it. But I like that, aswell as the meaning behind his design, I feel like a bold flag thats full of meaning without the need to be pretty is a metaphor in of itself for transness. But I'm also a bit biased, since I love connecting with the older FTM community in any way I can, so using this flag makes me feel like I'm kind of there with the older generations. I just never really connected with the Monica Helms flag, which I type as I'm looking over at my flag I have hung up on my wall haha. It's a beautiful design, but I don't know, I guess it's just to fluffy for me? And I never felt fluffy about my experiences as a trans person, maybe when I was 12-13 but I was a kid so probably doesn't count haha. But I just look at John's flag and see me, I don't really know how else to describe it, it just feels right.
We need to glorify breast augmentation scars the way we do mastectomy scars. We need to glorify neopussy and phalloplasty/metoidioplasty the way we do girlcock and boy pussy. We need to adore the shape of post-orchiectomy genitals. We need to make more people aware of penile preserving vaginoplasty. We need to glorify nullification. Transgender bodies shaped by surgery are the most beautiful example of self creation there is. You've physically altered your own body, through surgery and meat and steel to make it match your self image. What could be more beautiful than that? They are the perfect symbols of transness, and that they're overshadowed by stylised scar lines and crotch bulges, no matter how hot and beautiful those are in their own right, is a tragedy.

You know you archieved a milestone in your transition when, at the hospital, instead of asking if you want to test for pregnancy, they ask if you want to test for HIV/AIDS

thinking about making my baby teeth into jewelry..
yeah these? the teeth of the little girl i killed and buried with my own hands
it's just a trans metaphor, don't worry
hey, why r u calling the cops haha..
calm down, she's okay! i visit her sometimes, don't even worry about it. the dirt is warm around her when it rains, it's fineeee
Nice people make the best Nazis. Be mean, be tough, have a fascist tooth/skull collection.
again. bodily autonomy, fundamental bodily autonomy HAS to have room for people doing things with their own bodies that you do not and will not approve of. if it doesnt, it is not bodily autonomy
Shoutout to being a boy. You don't have to be "subversive" or "revolutionary. It's enough to just be yourself.
i'm just saying man
"there's nothing wrong with being effeminate." of course. and do you feel happy with how you look?
"i worry people would feel unsafe around me." do you feel safe around you?
"it would be hard for other people to adjust." and you think it'd be easier to suffer quietly?
"he/they is fine. i really prefer he/him, but i have to make it easier on other people." so you want to let other people decide your gender? again?
"if i'm going to be a man, i owe it to other people to be as soft, friendly, and nonthreatening as possible."
No. You don't.
If you want to discover a new super cool musician who is so very talented, my friend Blue Laïka has 2 singles out on every platform:
Still Myself, a super emotional song with an addictive poprock production
And Mean It, a catchy one about polyamorous relationship !
Please give her a listen, she's wonderful and really, really worth it !!
I know people aren't here for the news, but trans folks, I'm thinking of you tonight and how you deserve better.
"but you were so much prettier when-"
Actually my worth isn't determined by how I look. No, I'm not a trans poster child who is gonna get hundreds of likes for a selfie but that's not why I transitioned. You have no idea how good it is to be able to go "Woah who is that guy in the mirror?? Oh yeah, it's me!" not because I'm a hunk but because I'm finally ME.
Me when I realised that, even if all the porn with transmascs bottoms was hot, it wasn’t for me and I, in fact, prefer to top
this may be one of the most insightful & incisive & humble & honest & earned reflections/sentences I’ve read in an interview. and so casually and earnestly admitted, signaling a truly clean & organized soul——the two (the desire to “be” a poet (or any “vocational” position) & the desire/capacity for the work said vocation requires) are so very easily conflated—perhaps forever—for/in some —causing them undue suffering, or shame, or envy, or spite, and so forth .
thinking of George Steiner — to know one’s own limits, to see them as gifts, and to choose the path of celebration rather than envy……. is a result of a deep knowing of self and soul . Of deep and honest acceptance. Watering and tending what one was given — but even to do that one must understand and accept one’s life—i.e see it clearly, unflinchingly—is a difficult, initially painful task that, terrifyingly, is quite often left undone. which is what tragedy kind of is, to me, at its heart, anyway……

did u guys know about transgender men
my partner might be onto something when she says you can disguise your pickiness and food sensitivity as an adult by calling yourself a “purist.” so instead of saying “the taste and texture of cooked raisins make me want to hmork,” you say “i’m actually kind of a cinnamon roll purist, i prefer just a classic cinnamon filling and a really good dough instead of something with a ton of random mix ins,” which takes you from who gave this four year old a bachelor degree to oh wow this guy is a pretentious asshole about more things than i even thought was possible
The pipeline….
Thank you to my lovely friend @oto999 for the font teehee
