I hope western leftists know that standing for a free Palestine is not the end of decolonization. I've seen far too many white leftists who proudly stand for freeing Palestine which is good but then get nervous and apprehensive at the idea of decolonizing the very land they are on. Norway will recognize Palestine but actively tear down Sámi liberation. Liberation for one people means it for us all. If you support Palestinian liberation but deny it for the Indigenous people of the land you're on then you didn't stand for Palestinians or any of us to begin with.

dont disclose your trans status or genders to other people

dont change your name

never have dysphoria

your transness is tied to your neurodivergence

your transness is tied to your nonhuman identity

dont feel like you have a gender or gendered experience

feel like gender isn't really that important

are intersex

are two-spirit, hijra, or have another cultural gender or expression identity, or "third gender"

are a person of color

are an afab demigirl

are an amab demiboy

have a complex identity

have a very simple identity

cant figure out your gender for the life of you

cross dress

do drag

present socially in ways that are "normal" for your agab

have crushing dysphoria

don't know how to pass

pass effortlessly

are a butch trans woman

are a femme trans man

are demigender

don't like to be reminded you're trans

have a very specific gender

have a gender that's specific to you and you alone

have hated being trans at one point

stopped transition and restarted it at some point

have had to change your gender, name, pronouns or presentation multiple times

change presentation a lot

have a gender that's hard or impossible to put into words

dont want to figure out what your gender is exactly

are plural/a system

are genderfluid, gnc, genderqueer, multigender, polygender, genderflux, neutrois, maverique or genderfuck

A Reminder

Palestine is not over. Palestine is not dead. Gaza, the West Bank, the entire region between the river and the sea, and the various countries across the world where refugees have fled to, house a surviving people and surviving culture. Palestine is not dead, and WILL NOT die.

I'm seeing a lot of very valid despair online, but if you're someone like me, living a privileged life in a Western country NOT under active bombardment, and which is actually COMPLICIT to some degree in that bombardment: we don't get to give up. Not now, not ever.

You can still get involved in protests or direct actions (e.g. blocking supply), you can still donate eSims or fund UNRWA on your government's behalf, you can still hassle the crap out of your local MP. No, it won't roll back the harm that's already been committed, but all of those things are STILL WORTH DOING. PEOPLE ARE STILL ALIVE OVER THERE. PALESTINE IS STILL WORTH SAVING.

Genuinely hate when people act like misgendering me is this big thing that I’ll have a mental breakdown over. (As an afab non binary person)

On another note: I have genuinely had people say that if I piss them off that they’ll just get me back by purposefully misgendering me.

Am I supposed to find that funny? “Haha, that’s so funny that you’re threatening to try to invalidate my entire existence as a trans person if I mildly annoy you”? Yeah, that’ll work out well.

I really do not care if you misgender me as long as you are actively trying to get better, are apologizing, and as long as it isn’t purposeful. But I have no respect for people that use it as a cheap way to try and make me upset.
