reading a good ass fanfic up until it said something that just makes you want to stop reading

Reading my own fanfiction is basically just a rollercoaster of emotional whiplash.

20% of the time: “Hold on. I wrote this? This is fire. This is emotionally devastating in the best way. This scene is dripping with tension. I’m a literary perfectionist. Someone give me a book deal.”

80% of the time: “Straight to jail. Immediate prison. Why is everyone’s breath hitching?. I used the word ‘gaze’ three times in one paragraph like I was possessed. Did I think 'his eyes darkened' was profound? Why is everyone clenching their jaws? Why is someone whispering 'their name like a prayer' again?? No one talks like this. What is this dialogue. Why are there so many weird metaphors and em-dashes…”

x Reader fics need to handle writing “reader” better sometimes

As a 6ft afab person who’s built like a man and has never been super feminine and has a more unique haircut that’s shorter I hate to read about “readers” petite, small, pale body and her “long flowy straight hair”, etc.

Reader is meant to be ambiguous!! And if it’s important to the plot please mention it at the beginning!!! If it’s not important to the plot why is it being included???

Some people who are reading may be tall, fat, skinny, short, or even somewhere in between. The readers could have a hijab, 4c hair, locks, braids, long hair, short hair, wavy, no hair and even more.

Stop making all readers so sweet and innocent, I want a reader who’s petty and sassy sometimes. I’ve noticed also that so many readers are either too baby to do anything or over powered.

Personally I also hate reading about obviously toxic men and relationships that the reader goes back to because they are “so in love”, like no please let me deck that sucker and leave them in the dust and be happier.

Also, if you label your post with the tag “___ x reader” or titled with “___ x reader” and then make descriptions and then ADD A NAME!!! It’s not an x reader fic and I heavily want to block you.

Summary:A short story, where you finally accept your feelings and admit, that you're in love with an apple, a charming and adorable one, who also feel the same.

You hate yourself.

You don’t actually believe it.

You’re in love with a fucking apple. And no, it’s not a joke. You wish it was, though—kind of. You have nothing against arcanists; it’s just unusual and strange to catch feelings for a fruit. Especially if you’re human. You feel a little ashamed.

But you couldn’t do anything. You didn’t have a choice. That voice. That personality. You also suspect that Apple feels the same way about you. And he hasn’t confessed because he knows he has no chance with someone as gorgeous as you.

But he does, actually.

When you first met Apple in the suitcase and had a nice, friendly conversation, you complimented his British accent. You couldn’t see it, but you’re sure he blushed when you praised him.

“I enjoyed talking with you, Apple. I love your accent! It’s very soothing and smooth. I could listen to you for hours and never get bored.”

Honestly, it felt more like flirting than a simple compliment.

“Tha-thank you. This apple also loved the conversation. Y-you look very nice.”

He stuttered while trying to return the kind words.

Ever since that moment, you noticed Apple was more affectionate with you than with other humans and arcanists. For example, he gives you small candies at random times, or he always looks at you if you’re nearby. Always. Even without eyes, you can feel his glasses pointed in your direction. He does other small things too, subtle little actions meant to make you happy. They’re tiny gestures—but precious ones. Seeing you smile is more than enough to make Apple melt.

But after Regulus teased him, he learned how to hide this affection from others.

“Oh! I noticed how you’re treating [First Name]. You’d better tell them before someone else does!” Regulus whispered to Apple while you were busy with something else, pretending not to hear.

Apple quickly covered her mouth using his tiny hands. You couldn’t hear him, but from the tone of his voice, he sounded incredibly flustered. When he moved his hand away, a smirk spread across Regulus’s face as she caught your gaze.

One day, When everyone was either in their room or out the suitcase, Apple finally decided, That it's now or never, Floating in front your door, He raised this hand and turn it into a fist, He hesitated and rethink this choice before knocking your door.

"Who?" You questioned from the other side of the wooden door.

"It's me!" He answered with confidence, But he also sounds a little nervous.

"Apple! Come in." You knowledge this visit, He opened the door a little bit, and he looked at your room, it seems very clean, and he saw you sitting in your chair, working with something in the table, you turned your attention from your work to Apple.

"Do you need anything? I'm always happy to meet you! Or do you want to talk? Let me bring you-"

"Actually, this Apple need to speak with you about something very important" He cut you off before you offer your tea.

"Hm? Yes of course, Is something bothering you my friend? I have never heard you so serious before" You muttered and raised your eyebrows, he got closer to your face and mumbled.

"I...i... i am in love with you.." With voice mixed with honey and flowers, he confessed, And floated away from you, waiting for your reaction, waiting for you to say no and ew with voice filled with disgust.

Instead, your eyes widened and your mouth was open, shocked, but there wasn't any look of rejection in your face, after few seconds, a grin creeped up in your face looking at Apple shaking form, Waiting for your response.

"I also love you. " Even if you said you hate yourself and wished it was a joke, you didn't hate Apple, you just wished that he could be human so you can do more inmates contact with each other, and nobody will quistions you, but you will try and make it work.

"Yo-you do?!" Yea, that's it, he will explode before you could even kiss him, Is that even possible.

"Are you sure??" He asked again, Completely confused, he hope this wasn't a cruel joke.

"Did i sutter?" You got closer to him, and start gently caressing this red, bright skin using the tip of your fingers.

You let out your tongue before slowly dragging it over his skin, he let out a whimper, it was a small noise yet it was full of need and desire. After you finished licking him, you nibbled a little in this skin, he was trying to muffle this voice, but he moaned as you gently marked him.

"This feels so painful yet so good.." he whined. You didn't deepen your bites, you tried to make it as soft as possible.

"You taste so, so sweet." you purred as he finally gave up and started making more noises, more groaning and moaning.

"If only this apple has body. "He kept speaking as you were tasting, absorbing and savoring the flavor.

"Hey, I'm pleased enough with you begin an apple"

"I hope nobody will notice me tomorrow..." he muttered with voice full of shame, After you finally finished with him.

"I love you forever" he said again, with admiration this time.

A huge smile appeared in your face before answering.

•Long story short, You have been pretty lonely and bored these days(Especially after becoming a well known outlaw), You wanted a new family or at least a partner, Maybe you can join a gang?

•But of course it doesn't mean nobody will notice your weird behavior, For example whatever you go out for a hunt, Hosea sometimes tell you to bring someone with you to help, But you refuse saying that you you're better alone.

•The one who also eyeing you suspiciously is Arthur, Whatever you both go out to rob or kill, He thinks you're acting as a creep, Looking at chubby, Young and healthy men and women with a eyes of hunger, Sometimes even gulping, And telling him to go back first to the camp after killing trying to take the corpse away from this sight.

•Pearson also mentioned how you you're the one who pick and cut the meat alone, In the forest, Almost trying to hide something.

•One time while stabbing a man who tried to kill you while stealing, This blood filled your face and you licked it in such away...That makes Arthur feels some type of emotion.

•Not to mention how fucked up you look sometimes, The eyes and the bags under them, Your face wrinkles and how old you look despite begin freshly thirty, Something totally happened to you.

•So one time while the gang was happily eating from your cooking, Arthur decided to confort you in front of everybody, Mentioning every point and demand an explanation to your behavior, You panicked of course, Sean tried to defend you saying that he's overthinking, A heavy and suffocating tension fill the air.

"Are you accusing them of begin a molester??!" Karen spoke with shock in her voice

"Hey i think you're overthinking a little bit too much" Bill raised this eyebrows, Agreeing with Sean.

Reader is the new Tenth Class! They have been fighting alongside the team for a long time now, effective on the battlefield and easy to get along with otherwise.

One day, the team may start to notice some odd changes to their teammate. Reader is always feeling hungry, they are more sensitive to smells as of late, and they have become a bit more brutal in battle. In top of all that, sometimes one could *swear* Reader looks at them like they want to eat them.

Of course, Reader is completely oblivious to all of this (cause it's funny that way). It's almost no surprise when their teammate finds them collapsed on the floor, writhing in hunger pangs. Reader's eyes go red, hearing everything all at once... including the beating of their friend's heart. What follows is a blur, but let out be known that not even Heavy can withstand the force of a starving creature.

Tldr, Reader has been turned into a vampire at some point, and is completely oblivious and doesn't notice anything wrong... Until its too late~

•Wil always apply sunscreen in your skin,Remove stinky smells of corpse and garlics for your safety and comfort.
