Meditation Practice:

Close your eyes and visualize a dark room with a light switch in the corner. Imagine you are standing in this room alone by yourself. Block out any outside noise and focus on the dark empty room & feeling emotionless. Remain there until the chatter and the noise subsides and you are left alone, listening to the quiet and feeling the stillness. When you are ready, mentally visualize yourself flicking the light in the room on. Don't open your eyes yet. Stand in the room with your eyes still closed and feel the warmth start to circle your body. Feel the light beating on your skin. Now start to think about what your desires are. Do you want to be happy? Successful? Loved? Whatever it is that ignites you, think about it positively. Now open your eyes. Imagine the room is bright with colors swirling around you and images of your desires being played out in real time in front of you. You desire to be happy? Look at yourself in the bright room smiling and being happy. Visualize what this looks like. Feel the emotion filling the room and wrap around you. When you start to doubt yourself or question what you're capable of, return your mind to the dark room and mentally flick the switch back on.
